Update to my previous review, they gave vastly improved their service. The food is still fantastic! A lot of improvements need to be made. My friend and I went in for lunch on our break, we walked in and there were two waiters. One was checking a customer out and another was walking around. Neither greeted or acknowledged us. We sat at the bar, looked through the menu and made it pretty clear we were ready to order. The waiter finally came back and took our drink and food order. There was a lot of food being cranked out by the kitchen but it took a long time for us to get our food. I did ask if we could get ours to go after waiting a long time, and they brought it to the table with boxes which was nice. The food was flavorful but the portions were not consistent. My friend got more noodles with her dish than I did. Overall I think the waitstaff needs to be more alert to customers and customers need to be made aware of how long the food takes to prepare. This restaurant has a lot of potential and is in a great location! Will definitely visit again!

Today was the first time trying this place out. The food was really good. My only complaint is when I went to change my 12 month old daughters diaper I had to change her on the floor of the bathroom due to there not being a changing station in the women s bathroom. Thankfully I had a changing mat that I was able to lay on the floor. Please consider putting in a changing station to make it easier on us mommas.

This place is absolutely amazing! I don t even get a chance to take a picture of my food because it was so delicious! This was my first ever experience trying ramen! This has set the bar really high for me. I tried their chicken curry ramen which was loaded with flavor all throughout the dish! Customer service was spectacular as well. Our waitress took her time and helped us go over a couple of options. I ll definitely be back to try more of their dishes! This establishment emulates home cooking at its finest! Very authentic and flavorful!!

ROCKIN RAMEN 05-21-24 Clean restaurant with friendly employees. We had lunch today. Chicken dumplings with sweet spicy chili oil. Deep fried pork egg rolls with sweet & sour sauce. Paitan Ramen - Rich broth topped with bok choy, pickled cabbage, corn, and pork chashu. Shrimp Tempura Curry - Steamed rice with shrimp tempura and curry. Food was served hot and fresh. We will be back again. 01-27-24 Lunch Had lunch today! It was good as usual. I tried the Dimpling Ramen Bowl! It was flavorful and came with chicken dumplings and two Shrimp Tempura s. We also had Rocket Yumen with pork and egg. Chicken Teriyaki Ramen Bowl. Wait staff was great! Friendly and helpful! Food was served fresh and hot! Will be back again This is my first time here! It s a nice little Restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. The wait staff was efficient and friendly! We had the: Shrimp Tempura for appetizers and they were really good! Im a bit disappointed after my visit here The broth of everyones ramen at the table was either extremely bland or salty. The appetizers however, were really good. The squid game appetizer was fried and I believe the oil needed to be changed at the time of my visit. All in all Im almost sure this place has such high reviews due to the population of Temple not being able to tolerate much spice or flavor(no offense just an observation) and the super friendly staff. I hope Im not coming off as a diffcult customer I simply would love for them to improve! The server present was extremely nice but I would not return to this location solely based on the food being so bland.

The meat portions leave an entire meal to be desired and its hard not to feel hungry even an hour after eating a full bowl. Quality seems to have gone down, the broth isnt as good as it was the last time I was there. The umami eggs were over cooked and under seasoned. The meat was still good, but everything else seems to have gotten worse. They also substituted my wifes ramen without calling and asking if that was ok, very odd business practice.

decided to try this place with my son the other day and was a little skeptical. When I walked in the door I had to take a minute to check the vibe. It has a very strip mall fuel with more sanitize decor. Then I prefer two bright and too much lighting ruins, the atmosphere. That said, it is set up to be a place to get some quick Ramen, and for that it definitely serves its purpose. I m definitely not a fan of listening to loud rock music when I m eating Ramen, but the volume was reasonable, and the place is called rock and Ramen after all. As for the Ramen, it was thankfully served in a real bowl and not plastic, which is a huge plus and a level for this place. Ramen itself was tasty definitely not gourmet. If you ever in a mood where you just want some Ramen give this place a try!

Momo had the best recommendations! She let me know which were more flavorful and which meat to choose depending on what types of meat you like. I had the Rockin Yummen (made it spicy) and my husband had the Spicy Paitan Ramen. The pork was so tender and cooked perfectly. The soup flavors were amazing. The spicy chili oil has a very strong aroma and it makes the whole ramen dish flavor more like Chinese than Japanese. And they serve TAP water which is a big disappointment. We didnt have to wait and were quickly seated. The speed of service was amazing as we got our drinks, appetizers, and main course very quickly. The iced thai tea was very nicely balanced and wasnt too sweet. The takoyaki was amazing along with the shrimp tempura. My crispy pork chop was delicious; the breaded pork chop was crispy and crunchy and the sauce made it even more so. It came with a good amount of rice as well. Overall, our experience was delightful and would definitely recommend.

Rockin Ramen serves delicious meals with large portions. My son had the spicy stir fried beef and Ramen with bok choy, and I had spicy beef and rice with onions. The level of spiciness was just right--enough to taste spicy without burning your tongue. It was served in huge bowls, and I had enough to take leftovers. The beef was well-seasoned, and the poached egg on top added extra flavor and texture. The Thai tea was sweet, but not syrupy. The employees were friendly and polite. We will definitely go again.

Ive had the ramen before and even though I personally dont care for ramen Im not than happy to eat it again if a friend offers. But today I discovered they have Poke bowls. OMG! It was SO good and an amazing portion size as well. At least twice as much as other places have served. Half a poke bowl want wow enough but the whole one was too much. It will be great to have for lunch and split it in half for dinner for a light healthy food day. I also learned to my delight, and dangerously for me, they also deliver the poke bowls! Im looking forward to trying out a variety of flavors to find my personal perfect combination.

We tried the dumplings which are amazing. They were out of the meat dumplings so we got vegetable. Loved them. 10/10. My daughter got the miso ramen and loved it. I got the drunken ramen which was ok. No broth and a lot of spice...so it was pretty salty. I feel like some more broth in it or more vegetables would have helped cut through some of that. I ordered the tonkatsu curry rice and for me I think the curry needed more working. It was way to liquidy and the batter was slipping off the meat, the meat wasnt prepared the whole it should have been, I think they just used pork without preparing it. I enjoyed the squid game, it had a nice texture and flavor. Maybe this was partly because I ordered take out. I would also add that it was a clean environment and the staff were very friendly.

My husband and I have had the worst cold and nothing has touched the stuffiness or soothing our throats. The spicy Tam Tam literally is a giant hug in a cup. The broth is so phenomenal on its own but everything together makes it taste like heaven. I am a huge fan, and will be coming back for all my soup!

Lots of options to choose from; definitely worth a visit! Weve tried a few different ramens, a noodle bowl, and a couple rice bowls. Weve also had their spring rolls, egg rolls, dumplings, and wings. Everything weve had was delicious, but we especially recommend trying their wings! Good prices and portions sizes. Nice setstaff.

Id give 6 stars if I could. I was ill with food poisoning and only ramen could satisfy. My gracious boyfriend went and picked up rockin ramen. Ive been thinking about it ever since. Out of town today and looked it up hoping it was a chain. Alas, Ill have to wait until Im back to get my fix!

Frist time having food delivered (UberEats) and eating here. Overall, I was VERY satisfied with the quality of the food. Ordered Spicy Tan Tan Ramen, Pork Katsu Curry, Takoyaki, Shrimo and Pork Egg Rolls. The ramen had a great flavor and the spicy level is prefect!! Pork Katsu Curry had a beautiful flavor and the Pork was tender!! Takoyaki was my frist time trying it. Just my option, I did not enjoy it but many others maybe like this. The Pork egg rolls where burnt, but still tasted fine. I ordered 2x Umami Eggs. I did not get them. Alittle disappointed but; Our order was canceled upon delivery and refunded my money back. So with that said, I was satisfied with my meals and will be visiting in person to try more of there food.

Ramen is absolutely delicious, I highly recommend it and will 100% order from here again. However, Ive knocked off a star for the Poke bowl. There was plenty of mix ins, plenty of sauce, and it was filling - but what was lackluster was the fish itself. I got salmon and it wasnt very fresh. Im from Austin and the poke options there are in more competition with one another so the fish is always top quality. Maybe that makes me spoiled but I feel like thats a fair assessment.

The owners were very nice. I ordered paitan black garlic with pork as the protein. I usually am not a huge fan of pork but it was so juicy and flavorful I may get seconds next time. The atmosphere was bright and fun. If you are local or passing through temple I would diffently try Rockin Ramon.

I ve been to the rockin ramen plenty of times and from my experience the food was absolutely amazing and the service is is so great compared to places I ve been recently. I highly recommend the poke bowl it has so many different ways to order and every one is awesome. My waiter/waitress is always super nice and welcoming and extremely helpful with the menu if you re new. 10 out of 10 recommend

After leaving another resturant that took 40 minutes to deliver disappointing food, we came here last night a half hour before closing. We had the owner s son serve us and he was awesome! Gave some great recommendations too! The food was so good that it was almost worth the first disappointing resturant we went to!! Our server was super knowledgeable about their items and was a pleasure to speak with. I had the a coconut ramen with chicken and a poached egg. It was such a unique and delicious dish! I asked for less spice and the broth just had the most mild nice hint of kick. I couldn t get over how perfectly cooked the chicken was!! I was super moist and flavorful! The poached egg was perfect! We also had the slurping soup dumplings. They take a little extra time but they were amazing!! My husband also had the fried octopus which he said was very good too. We felt bad coming in so late but never felt rushed. However, we tried to not doddle so we didn t keep them late. Wish I had taken pictures but I was so hungry and it was so good!! Can t wait to have my left overs today. The inside was nice too!! We will certainly be back!

The last time I went, I got the vegetarian ramen & I have never had a more tasteless, horrible mouthfeel of tofu in my life. The broth tasted off and I unfortunately ended up getting sick to my stomach for the remainder of my evening. I called to let them know it tasted off and that I got sick but after spending over $30 for my meal, which I only ate 1/4 of before feeling sick, the manager decided that I could not receive a refund for any of my meal. I have had their pork ramen, and while it was decent because of the broth, their pork was incredibly fatty genuinely only got 1 bite of decent pork that wasn t just fat. I was hopeful to have a good Ramen shop in the Temple area but Rockin Ramen did not prove to be such.
