The park attendants are amazing! They kept the bathrooms clean and cleaned the sites as soon as they were empty. They were prompt when we had a concern and took care of the issue. Definitely the best attendants we have had if a few years!

A great camping location on lake Belton with water+electric sites and dump stations. A nice boating/kayaking/fishing area on the inlet. Two boat launches. The camping sites are clean, level and well spaced, some with good shade. Basic bathhouses available.

Certain volunteers that stay in campers, supposedly representing the park rangers, need to stop harassing personal whom are not even on the campground premises. Be caution as I was approached by one of these Karens in the public parking by the building. Its such a shame when a Disabled Veteran cant even walk in a park without being harassed, even having the proper permits. I highly advise the Army Corp of Engineers to educate the volunteers they put in place. One day they may be met with the same hostilities that they use to make people feel like they arent welcomed.

Great place to camp, restrooms were clean. I wish the campsites werent so close together but other than that its great. We got two spots next to each other so we had more room. Toilets: Clean restrooms. Theres no soap or anything to dry your hands, so just bring your own.

Very clean area with great wildlife and bird watching. The lake is low, but the scenery is still very pretty. Unfortunately due to the proximity with the airport, its not the quietest park. But the volunteer hosts are very nice, facilities were clean, and the campsites are very spacious. There is a herd of deer who walked right through our campsite <3 Toilets: Very clean, but remember to bring your own soap/shampoo/towels. This is not a hotel. Dog-friendliness: Our dogs were comfortable since the campsites were so spacious. We enjoyed walking our dogs near the lake shoreline Picnic area: Our campsite had a very nice fire pit and large covered picnic table

This was our 2nd time visiting and tried to get the same campground as before since it was right on the water. However this time we got campsite 31 which was just 1 over from before only to get there and find NO WATER IN THE LAKE. We planned on fishing and enjoying the site but this was very disappointing . I feel like the staff should have told us the lake either dried up or the city drained it as that was our main reason for going and thats what the pictures show and say waterfront. We ended up transferring our site to a screened cabin where there was water so we could do what we came to do. I will now be looking for other campgrounds with water for fishing. The campsite with the screened cabin was ok but could use a lot of upgrades. The door didnt lock from the inside. The screens was torn causing crickets to always come in and the shaders they have was torn or not able to keep closed when it started raining so it was like as if we was outside. Also they could at least put soap in the restroom as campers dont think to bring soap to wash their hands.

We liked this boat ramp a lot but just dont understand how people let theyre kids hang out near the boat ramp. This is a Boat Ramp not a play area they get in the way when trying to PU and take off. Caught some awesome size Bass!! Picnic area: Nice picnic area its up on top overlooking the lake.

Nice park! It looks like they are upgrading a lot of fire pits. The big pavilions need a little work but the on site smokers at each one are massive and impressive. Its a shame the lake is so low right now. Will definitely return to this park.

Lake water is low so no swimming etc. The bathrooms always low on toiletries. Not enough to accommodate 20 plus sites. Also one working shower for the women. Ist night was terrible. A very disturbing camper moving from one site to the other shouting and playing loud music. No camp host(s) on this side.. Playground: None

I love coming out to the Ridge. Most spots are premium views. Staff is great. The showers are convenient, but the headed need the calcium build up removed. Spots are well done and level.
