Food tasted like it had been frozen. The fried raviolis were definitely from a Cisco truck. The chicken parm was also not fresh. My beer was poured into a glass from a bottle and served to me flat. How does that happen. The garlic rolls were tough. I guess the good reviews are from those that have not dined in a good restaurant. I would not recommend unless you enjoy frozen food heated up .

Great food and great service! We each had a pasta dish with chicken and both were delicious. Spinach artichoke dip was great and having two kinds of bread on the table to dip was extra nice (one that came with the dip and the rolls they bring out when you arrive). Tatum our server was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed and our drinks were always topped off. Got the carrot cake to go which was made fresh in house! Can t wait to come back again.

Ive been wanting to check out this place since we moved nearby and I finally had the chance to take my wife here. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back because of an unpleasant experience that we had here nonetheless the waitress was amazing, the food was good, and the service was great. The lights were so shockingly bright you could have performed surgery. PLEASE turn off the fluorescent lights. Italian places are supposed to be romantic....this was far from it. It was so bright I could see how dirty your floors were. Food was ok. Really detest paying $15/plate for pasta and chicken is diced so small it was rediculous. Didnt even come with a salad. Service was excellent.

I am worried trying new places since moving to Texas. Food is very different here. In side it s adorable. For a Monday night the place was full. Not packed uncomfortably but many tables were seated which usually indicates food will be good. Waitress was fast and unbelievably pleasant. Once the bread came out the expectations for the food sky rocked. This bread was salty buttery garlicky perfectly crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The food came out so quickly and was amazing. I used the last of my bread to scrape the sauce off the plate. Hubby loved his food too but took some home. Will def be back. If you question weather or not you should try it, let me help you. Try it !

This is our first time there. Love the friendliness of all the staff. Cleanliness of dinning room.. The food was phenomenal.. bread was great! Stuffed mushrooms were perfectly stuffed and sauce was so creamy and cheesy, I needed the spoon! I got the Chicken Cannolloni with jalapeño sauce! Has a kick but not 4 alarm. Joanne had the shrimp scampi on angel hair, she said it was super tasty however could have used a touch more sauce.. The prices were so pleasant to see! Will for sure be going again!

First let me start, the service is the best service Ive had! So polite, attentive, and friendly! The best Italian food, homemade! The cheesecake, the smell, is amazing! Start with the cheesecake! What a hidden gem! We searched for spaghetti near me and found this place. Never would have gone just by passing by it but Im so glad we went. The spaghetti tasted home made! It was delicious. And the service was Amazing! Even my 10 year old commented on how friendly the staff were. Its a laid back comfortable atmosphere and we will definitely be back. The prices are good enough we could afford to get dessert too :)

I have only eaten at Marsala s Italian Grill once, but I will definitely return! Extrordinary service, friendly wait staff, and food that s far superior to that of many more expensive restaurants. Garlic knots are wonderful! Pasta Romans with jalapeño cream sauce is over-the-top good. Don t let its location in a small strip center fool you - this place positively rocks!

My overall favorite dish is the chicken cannelloni You will never go wrong with any of the items on their menu but I highly recommend you try the chicken cannelloni. The service is always great. Just happened to find this place on a Monday afternoon while craving some Italian food. Marsalas DID NOT disappoint!! My wife and I arrived just after opening and the service was fast and friendly. Almost immediately after being seated we were given 4 huge garlic knots that were crispy and buttery on the outside while still being soft and fluffy inside. We started off with the spinach and artichoke dip and I have to say its probably the best Ive ever had. The portion size was great, too! This app could easily be shared amongst 4-5 people. The main courses were also fantastic! The lunch portions were big enough that we even had enough to take home for later (which says a lot for me, being a big guy I rarely have leftovers ). FRESH food; fast, friendly service and a quaint atmosphere... Overall, an excellent experience. We will definitely be back!

The entire staff is attentive & knowledgeable. They treat you as if you are a guest in their home. Their food is rich in flavor cooked beautifully & presented gorgeously. Service? is through the roof! I loved each and every team member that attended me during my visits. They work as a team & it shows in their service. The atmosphere was amazing, it s honestly something you don t see much of anymore & I love this spot even more for that. I came in once & went right back the next day. My husband and I ate here for my birthday on Sunday. Unlike most other restaurants at noon on Sunday, we were offered the lunch menu.The portions were surprisingly generous. Shared the toasted ravioli which was well-stuffed with creamy cheese. Hubby had spaghetti and meatballs, his standard order. He must like it since it s what he always gets. Although I usually enjoy the Eggplant Parmesan, I decided to try something different, so ordered the Chicken Piccata. It was delicious, the chicken pounded thin and breaded perfectly, the lemon sauce light and zesty. Brought Tiramisu home since I was stuffed. Either they have changed the recipe slightly (I believe it s made in-house) or changed their supplier as it is even better than previous indulgences. The only change I would suggest is in the Caesar salad Parmesan cheese should be shaved, not grated. Kudos to our friendly, attentive server.

After 1 visit, this place is saved to my favorites. The food is to die for. The rolls are even better while you are waiting for your food. BUT: there is no liquor. and it is in a gas station strip center that is pretty run down and leaves much to be desired. Kids throwing paper airplanes inside all through our dinner and managers said nothing about it. Undecorated Christmas tree still up inside. Our service was great though. This is my go to Italian place in Conroe. It is a smaller restaurant, but they make up for it with their attention to service and the smiles from the servers. I think the food is excellent. I love the Chicken Piccata, although I prefer the grilled chicken to the pan fried. Salads are great but they are an additional cost which isnt out of the norm for an Italian restaurant outside of the Olive Garden type. This is a small business that is worth checking out.

Check it out for yourself! The pizza was so delicious, but its cut in squares. The garlic knots are perfect with a side of marinara. The kids chicken alfredo flavor is spot on, but the sauce is not as thick as I prefer. The server was friendly, and the atmosphere was romantic. I felt underdressed in my leisure apparel, and my kids were wearing shorts and regular t-shirts, but we were not turned away, and no one made us feel that uncomfortable. Well definitely visit again! This was a nice little restaurant. We had lasagna, and it was very good, and a very large portion. I just wish they had Manicotti. To me, you can really judge an Italian restaurant by their Manicotti, but then I am biased because it is my absolute favorite dish. I know a few places that do a great job... but none compare to my aunts! Overall, we enjoyed the meal, the service, and the atmosphere. The prices werent too bad either. First, a reservation is a must on the weekends. I ordered Veal Marsala and when my food arrived my awesome waitress laid my plate in front of me and said here is your chicken marsala. I politely asked umm You do realize this is chicken and not veal. She looked horrified came around and said I knew that was chicken! We laughed about it and within a couple of minutes the mistake was corrected. Food tastes great and someone from the kitchen followed up to check on me. They handle the simple mistake with such grace. They also had loud music which was a bit too loud in such a small space. We were basically shouting at each other. We were seated in the very back of the restaurant away from the pianist which was good. Parking: Be prepared to park on the street on the weekends! Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap spacing with a short ramp right in front of the door.

We had a wonderful experience last night. We ordered chicken marsala and chicken piccata and took an extra chicken piccata home for our son. We also took a slice of carrot cake home because we arrived late and didnt want to make them late for closing. The food was awesome, but our waitress was extremely good at her job. Marsalas Italian Grill has become a weekly ritual for us, replacing Amore Fine Dining (a close second). Their daily luncheon specials are always an epicurian delight especially the Mahi for seafood lovers. Their Stuffed Mushrooms and Fried Ravioli are great starters. Other great main courses are their Salmon Tuscany and their Pasta Florentine with chicken. Wednesday Special: a Bottle of Wine is half-price (Yes, that is when we go!). While the staff is Excellent, the atmosphere is Lacking A touch of Tuscany and Color would do wonders! Still this is a culinary gem not to be missed!

I hate to give a negative review. The people were very nice and attentive. Great service. I think this restaurant has potential. It is in a not great location. They use a very strong cleaning solution. I didn t smell food the whole time, I smelled that cleaner. It was overwhelming. My dish was good, but nothing particularly noteworthy. My wife did not care for her dish. I believe she had a dish with beef and white sauce. The bread they serve at the beginning is good but i wasn t crazy about it. That could be improved. I also liked that they had Italian music playing. Made sense. I hope to see this place 1. Work on its dishes 2. Move to a nicer place once they can 3. Change cleaning solutions. I think with that and their very attentive and friendly service, they ll do great.

Smaller venue that is quiet and comfortable with great food and service. Their rolls are some of the best Ive ever had! One of those places I want to eventually try everything on the menu. I see from some of the reviews a lot of folks agree with me regarding the food, service and atmosphere. Our server last night was Travis and he was awesome. Every server weve ever had has been great but Travis added an extra touch of personality.

very disappointed with my take out tonight/: have been craving chicken parm with fettuccine alfredo so i got it tonight from here and cried when i took a bite. alfredo was made completely wrong, i ve never in my life have had loose alfredo watery as ever, flavor was off and for the up charge to sub the fettuccine and then the never to charge $4 for extra alfredo when the pasta was dry with no trace of sauce is absolutely wild. the portion size is despicable for the crazy high price you pay. definitely avoid this dish and spend it on a restaurant that actually knows how to make alfredo sauce. so disappointing my family come here once a week but this experience has tainted that and i do not believe we will be back.

Dinner tonight was a real treat a little spot called Marsalas Italian Grill. I was seated and my server Grier got me set up with a beer and water while I looked things over. I had read the reviews here and was determined to try their jalapeño cream sauce. When she returned I ordered the Chicken Marsala along with a small side dish of spaghetti with the jalapeño cream sauce. The garlic knots they serve are unbelievable silky soft on the inside and a nice firm crust slathered in oils, butter, parmesan cheese, and garlic it s tough not to eat the entire plate. The chicken marsala excellent. The chicken is nicely breaded and the sauce is has a light marsala wine flavor with a subtle sweetness. As for the side spaghetti dish with the jalapeño cream sauce, one of the most unusual and delicious sauces I have enjoyed in a long time. The sauce is not hot & spicy due to the jalapeños, but the distinct flavors of the jalapeños really made this a special sauce. The bread pudding for dessert was really good, easy to tell this was a inhouse creation. The service here is great and Grier took wonderful care of me. I was also visited by the Manager Tammy who inquired about my experience. She told me how things are created from scratch inhouse and she is very proud of the restaurant.

This hidden gem of a restaurant was an amazing dinner with great service, food, and staff. We had to stop in for a quick bite because we were on a break for a convention, and the experience was wonderful. Marsalas food was delicious, and the staff was so accommodating. Do not be fooled by the location in a strip center. The ambiance is quite inviting once you step in the door. The staff was wonderful, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Wish I knew our waiters name... He had curly brown hair, length down to his nose or chin and a beard- He delivered incredible service. Our special occasions are typically on a McDonalds type budget so to us this was high-end dining and that young gentleman did an outstanding job at making us feel like we fit right in. The entire staff were just amazing. The food was great! But the cheesecake! OMG the cheesecake is a MUST try. You will not be disappointed.

Weve been looking for a new little Italian spot since our old place changed owners, and boy are we glad we went here! The food was supurb and the atmosphere is inviting. First time visiting this establishment and I believe well be returning. Small, unassuming spot in a nondescript shopping center away from the hubbub that has become Conroe. The bread was good. I shouldve asked for butter. I had the Chicken Picatta. Ive never had it served with the chicken cut in strips. It was a tad dry but I really liked the angel hair and sauce. I would have it again but ask them to hold the chicken. Hubs ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs but got sausage which he doesnt like but we had an appointment and couldnt wait for it to be redone. The dining room is small and there were many large parties. I thought the waitstaff and manager (or owner) did an excellent job of servicing all the tables and keeping wait times to an impressive minimum. Well try them again.

Place smelled so good and clean when we walked in. Small quaint but very cozy. The waiter staff, D... (name) was very good and very friendly. I went off his recommendations, and the food was amazing! My wife had the pizza, and I had the Ravioli Vodka with chicken and shrimp. So delicious. Salad was so good I could have eaten that as my meal. The jalapeño cream sauce we tried was so good, we purchased two pints to take home! Everything is made fresh. Try those bread knots with garlic butter. Yummy. Didnt try desert cause too full. But all looked good.

Found this place while out of town with my kids. Tried a variety of items. Fried ravioli was good but not a good value. Only came with 7 to the order and myself and 2 kids scarfed those down in no time at all. Bread was fresh and good that comes with meal. But they dont like to hand out much extra. I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza. Pleasantly surprised. Its authentic tasting and they dont use the cheap kibble like other places. We all shared the pizza but I ordered lasagna with meat sauce. Little disappointed in this. It was very mediocre and presentation wasnt the greatest. Worst part was there were HARD noodles that werent cooked all the way in spots, like they were sticking out of the pot while they were boiling. I had to spit those out and eat around them. The kids pasta plates seemed to be fine and they didnt complain.

I order Marsalas to go often as it is close to my house and typically my family and I enjoy the pizza. However, the past three orders have been terrible. The pizza dough specifically has been terrible. We asked for it to be extra cooked to see if it would help with our last night order, however it did not. The cheese isnt melted, almost like it was fat free cheese, tasting fake. The ranch, which we usually love was terrible. We debated just doing frozen pizza, but thought we would give it one last shot and now looking back wish we would have saved the 50 dollars and ate the 5 dollar frozen pizza instead. Service is always great and the atmosphere is wonderful even just going in for a to go order, but it definitely seems like the food quality has gone down, pizza specifically. Typically prefer Marsalas over Russos, but will be going to Russos next time.

I dont really know where to begin to describe this little hidden gem. The food here blew my family away. Starting from the amazing bread knots that were straight out the oven, to the super delicious entre. The portions do not seem all that big but, the food is so rich with flavor that, the portion sizes were perfect. Below was our left over box with partial lasagna, garlic knot, and chicken fettuccine alfredo. I highly recommend trying this place, the staff is super friendly/helpful and you wont be disappointed. I have gluten intolerance and I have never had such a low key and easy experience ordering gluten free food. I would give 10 stars if I could! Looking forward to visiting here again soon!
