Poor customer customer service! Arrive before closing time and was not allowed in the store. The employee would only allow people to leave. Horrible service especially from some who drove about 20 min to get there.

I ordered online for a gathering this weekend to include my fiance, my brother, and best friend who are all disabled army and usmc vets. This store sent me the wrong size bottles and charged me for the handles. They also shorted me bottles. We called to try to rectify the order which was a few dollars shy of 600. The store manager, Emily, was very rude and denied fault in the delivery order from their website. She then tried to place responsibility on their contracted 3rd party delivery service who does not fulfill the order, but only delivers it. She refused to rectify the order for a large military veteran family in a large military based community. SHAME ON YOU SPECS! We have shopped with yall for almost 2 decades. Twin Liquors it is from now on and this will be shared will fellow veteran friends and family.

I used a gift card given to me last Christmas. The clerk stated there was no balance on it. This was the first time to use this card. I was eventually told that Specs deducts a monthly fee each month the card isn t used. What a ripoff! Someone spent money for a gift, and Specs steals it back monthly. I feel like notifying the Texas Attorney General s office, and the Better Business Bureau. I m sure our local media would love to do a feature on this practice.

A truly great place for some hard to find wine that my wife enjoys. Also a great selection of mead (honey wine as some call it) amazing prices and a friendly and knowledgeable staff which has helped me and many of my friends who are looking for a particular type of drink. Also, back when i used to smoke cigars, they had an amazing selection. The large selection they have of snacks and fancy foodstuffs that i cant find anywhere else always impresses me. Ive found salted crickets and other fun and exotic snacks you cant get at your local grocery store. Get their discount card if you go there often.

Specs usually has a decent selection of whatever genre of alcohol I happen to be in the mood for, as well as mixers and other things necessary to create almost anyones favorite cocktail . You know, like pickled baby onions, elderflower syrup, bleu cheese stuffed olives and more! Really though, one of the absolute best things about Specs is the 5% in-store discount they give anyone who pays cash or uses a debit card and enters a PIN number. If you buy their products regularly the Specs Key is a wonderful thing to carry because Gold Level Key Club members have access to: member-only online and in-store discounts, special in-store events, and early in-store access to new product releases. But beware! New in-store shoppers should allow themselves plenty of time to gawk because its so easy to lose track of minutes, or even hours, like a kid in a candy store. Oh yeah, they have candy also.

Might as well buy online and save money - the curbside pricing didnt match the in-store price and they wouldnt correct. Wasted $20+ because the prices were off. Also my military ID had expired by a few days and they wouldnt honor a Military Discount. Ill be giving my $$ to Total Wine next time. Workers were impolite and acted like I was an inconvenience for simply asking a question.

Both times Ive ordered curb side Ive had an issue. 1st time was told my order had already been picked up. 2nd time waited for 27 minutes in the parking lot for curbside. When asked what the problem was on the 2nd time they said the notifications didnt always come to their phones. Never got the answer for what the problem was with the 2nd time but they gave me my order

02 APR 2022 update: No much has changed, this Specs location continues to deliver consistent customer service. My opinion is this store continues to be ham-strung by the local distributor for beer, but the hard spirits selection is well varied and robust. I am noticing more options for the bourbons and tequilas. The liquor and beer distribution in the Temple area leaves a lot to be desired, but Specs does a good job of showing you the options and offering they can get and have on hand. My personal favorite is Nick, as he has consistently made good recommendations and advised me well when looking to expand my palate. Nick has also been good about making recommendations when I am shopping for others. Cashiers have always been friendly to me, and there is an electric cart for use when I need physical assistance getting around the store. Military discount and paying with debit or cash, equates to case pricing. Specs does a good job of showing their appreciation for their customers.
