We found a fantastic deal for our stay (in-town for an out of state wedding). Our reservation was for 4, so we booked the suite and the pics looked just like the room but the staff - specifically the manager was horrible. We had hair and make-up people come to our room (for less than 2 hours!) and he charged our card without permission (and then called our room to tell us he did so). We came down immediately and he began YELLING saying that since we lied about how many were staying in our room we were being charged more. We did in fact book for 4, and had 4 but I let him know who comes to our room is not his concern. He proceeded to yell and we left. It was the craziest thing Ive ever experienced. I called corporate from the parking lot who then called the hotel directly and handled the matter. We would have left had we another option. We stayed a total of 3 days. The manager would go the other way if we crossed paths. Aside from the drama. Things to know are its easy to Uber to and from (we didnt rent a car) and there is a Texas Road House next door that you can walk to. The pool is outside and the size of a jacuzzi

Very nice, clean and quiet hotel. Beds are very comfortable. Location is great right next to Texas Roadhouse. Staff is very courteous. Lots of places to grab a bite nearby. Bathrooms are a bit dated, but clean.

8/18/24 update: stayed again, in a different room, and had a less than exceptional experience with the housekeeping. I told them upon check out not expecting anything except acknowledgment. They wrote down everything I said, and then the manager reached out to address my concerns. This Best Western saved me from the motel 6 up the road that I literally walked out of after finding hair, sweat, and blood on the bed linens. Sadly, not exaggerating. The first thing you notice when you pull in is that there are no people permanently living there. The facilities are very clean. Customer service you check in was outstanding. If they have them available, they will give you an appetizer gift card for the Texas Roadhouse next door. Room 206 was spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Great housekeeping! Safety: Feels safer than any other hotel on that side of the highway

Excellent service in all aspects!!! The girl at the reception was very friendly and helpful!!! 100% recommended! Even if you are a truck driver you can leave your truck on the street next to the hotel without any problem!!! Aaah, apart from everything, the room and the bathroom were very clean. And it smells good in general, not like other hotels that smell musty .

Front desk clerk was very nice and welcoming. Got checked in quick, room was pretty nice for the most part. There were a couple things like the towel rack that was hanging off the wall, and the shower head being loose. Other than that it was clean, and my bed was made everyday and bathroom restocked with shampoos and such. Comfortable location right off the highway. Texas Roadhouse is right next door too which is a bonus.

Smelly constantly damp room, internet that didnt actually allow you to connect to the internet, water that rotates through scalding hot to freezing through the whole shower and cleaning service that only tucked in the bed. Never cleaned, sheets never changed, not vacuumed, mirrors never cleaned. Only saving grace was front desk staff was kind and helpful as I had to get my own towels/soaps/ toilet paper and Kleenex almost daily. Walkability: Texas Roadhouse right next door was good

The room was a very good size and very well designed for the quietness it afforded me. Newly refurbished and beautifully decorated. Had enough tech to charge all of my devices (dont go anywhere without my laptop). I felt very safe here and walking to the Texas Roadhouse restaurant, right next door!! The young lady at the front desk was so sweet and helpful, a pleasure to work with for checking in and out. I thought it was a great value and well worth the stay.

This place is quiet. It has an awesome breakfast. The potatoes are to die for! The only thing that is that both me and my brother felt like someone was watching us at night. Been here a few times clean as always and get good rest BUT BE WEARY of any rooms closest to interstate. Because you hear it like you re outside and I m talking about all the road noise sounds like if your under a bridge with with cars, trucks, semis, driving by or reving the loud exhaust down the access road. The only thing you don t get are the fumes. Had the bathroom fan going all night to try to drown out some of the noise that didn t work. Someone in the reviews said something about a fan provided I looked they don t have. Ask before you book where your room is and have them be specific. Oh and they now this particular side is that way. Waste of money for the worst sleep you ll have for a long long time.

Was not thrilled with the AC, didnt get as cold or blew hard enough. The desk fan kept good circulation. The bed was soft and amazing, felt like sleeping on a cloud in the king room. The bathroom was little cramped but not horrible. The room itself was spacious. We didnt get to try the breakfast due to it stopped at 9am and we didnt catch the time when we checked in.

The location was great, both rooms were clean, had the preferred amenities, a good breakfast, and actual staff that were available for questions. That would be a 4 star rating from me. Arrived at 2:30am on a Sunday morning. Had already stopped at 3 other hotels. No vacancy. The night desk attendant (male...I failed to get his name) was sooo nice & accommodating. He was advised that we were Diamond Select members & immediately went into action to insure I was placed in a room. Best Western is our choice hotel, but, not being familiar with Temple, I did not know that it was so close to my target destination. Kudos to the night desk clerk.

Asked front desk for some, & they explained they are out and must adhere to brand standards, that they cannot simply just put any shampoo in the room to replace unavailable shortages. No accommodation was provided. No alternative offered. Rented for a week hotel is fine but my heater sets 59 or 70 nothing in-between but I got a fan...slept in after a 20 hour day of traveling till 1230 pm when I left for the day only to return at 9pm to find no room cleaning.. Stayed for 3 days while visiting friends, the rooms are pretty comfortable and clean. The breakfast is quite nice compared to most continental ones Ive had other places. Only really downside is that the carpet had some large black marks that looked like burns of some sort which is strange for a strict no smoking hotel and the wifi was VERY slow. Booked with the plan of working remotely for a day on the nice desk and chair provided in the room but the speed was too poor to establish good VPN connection.

Our room was humid and everything felt wet, my boyfriend sat on the couch and looked down to find a mold spot on the couch. There was a hair in the bed and sink. Got a key for a new room, bug on the bed and what looked like throw up on bathroom door frame. Do not book here if you want a clean place to sleep.

The Front Desk attendant, Mary was the most wonderful and helpful lady. She is a A+ employee. We were traveling through and our automobile broke down. On our way south, we stopped at this Best Western to rest for the night before continuing on to our destination. The girl at the check in desk, evening shift, was pleasant and helpful. Came here for a work trip. Very nice rooms very neat and clean I enjoyed it until in the morning when my coworker found the door on his room open. It was right next door to Texas Road House where I Was meeting my Grandson in law for dinner when I was traveling through the area, it was a little pricy for 1 person but very nice and clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

Peaceful, comfortable and well priced, wonderful stay in a cared for hotel. The people who work here definitely show pride in what they do. We felt so welcome by Mike the manager and all of his staff. Even though the hotel is right by in I-35 once you stepped inside it was so quiet. We had a great nights sleep on the king sized bed with room to spread out and relax. My spouse and I travel a lot for work, this was a business trip, so we see a lot of hotels, this is on of our new favorites. We will be back again soon!

The beds slept hard like the ground and the room smelled like mildew. I do not recommend this location to anyone. I wish I could have gotten a refund for this stay. I found no value at this property. The morning time front desk agent on duty also was not wearing a face mask and she didnt make an effort to be wasnt considerate to me or my Mother and put one on for our check out processing. I forgot to make pictures this time.

This is our second stay here. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our stay came with free continental breakfast. Its Best Western, so its not luxurious by any means. This one is located conveniently nextdoor to a Texas Roadhouse restaurant.
