I moved from New York to Texas 5 years ago and have had a really hard time finding a person I trust with my hair. I started off at Alchemy and at first it was great but my stylist just talked excessively and didn t pay attention. One day her friends were there and they had her undivided attention and she messed up my hair. After that Experience I did my research and came across Vida Salon. My appointment was with Vesper. I wanted highlights but still had residual pink/red tone from my old hair color. With the guidance of Vickie, Vesper was able to get the old tone down give me a nice brown with the highlights I wanted! I came back a second time after having a baby and losing clumps of my hair and luckily Vickie had an opening. I told Vickie I wanted to chop it all off. Vickie and I went thru some pictures she explained what she was gonna do we started with some length and I would tell her if I wanted it shorter! Even walking out of there with absolutely all of my hair gone I was still absolutely happy! I love that Vicky and her employees always make sure that the customer and the stylist are on the same page before they stick a scissor into your hair or color it. The stylist can always feel comfortable coming to Vicky if they have any questions she creates not only a great atmosphere for her customers but for her employees as well!

This was my time back at a professional salon in 5+ years, I walked in anxious and walked out refreshed and so satisfied! Sherry is amazing! She s fast, super sweet as well as knowledgeable and helpful figuring out what you need! Most definitely going back!

Atmosphere of this place is amazing! Was recommended here couple months ago by a friend & saw vickie the owner hands down amazing!! I ve had terrible hair experiences and she explains everything and is a master at her work!! They are very accommodating with schedule and fit me in last minute for a quick hair cut, and was fine for this time not seeing the owner. I was throughly shocked that i was charged almost double for the same services as last time from their master stylist to someone who is very new. I left with my hair still wet at the roots (she offered to dry it more but my anxiety was acting up already) with only a quick blow dry no volume, when i got home the wet hair wasn t drying it was getting really knotty and felt greasy because the shampoo and conditioner on my hair wasn t throughly rinsed so i had to come home and rewash and it instantly sud back up.

PEOPLE WITH PIERCING LISTEN UP: I have curly/wavy hair and since it can be difficult to find someone who can work with my type of texture, I have been cutting and styling my own hair since I was 15. So, coming in to a hair salon, after 10 years, was very nerve racking for me. My stylist was so nice, and did an AMAZING JOB on my textured hair! But I had no idea to achieve such a great look, I had a to have a comb through my thick curly hair that was very tangly. It hurt when she was combing, but I tried to understand she was only just doing her job....kinda roughly...I have only two ear piercings and an eyebrow piercing. She had bumped my eyebrow, piercing and bumped by other ear piercings. At one point throughout the haircut, they had almost ripped my earring out of my ear, causing the backing of it to submerge into my skin which made my ear bleed. After being embarrassed, looking on the floor for my supposed missing backpost(because I didnt know it was IN my ear, I had thought the back fell out).. I started to cry because of how badly I was hurt, from the brushing roughly to making me take out TWO piercing because of the trauma endured from the appointment....Not a fan, but at least theyre talented i guess...

Vesper has been amazing!!! I have a lot of anxiety about cutting my hair due to horrible experiences in the past....my first time I came two years ago and just did a trim but today I finally had a chance to go in and wanted to do a big chop! hair looks and feels so much healthier and it looks better than I imagined it would!!! Definitely will be coming back for mine and my kids hair needs!

By far the BEST salon you will ever go to. Vicky and her crew literally treat you like family. I always walk in with zero idea of what I want, and it never fails I always leave feeling like a million bucks!!! They take amazing care of my hair and even give me tips on how to keep it going until my next visit. The entire staff stay educated and on top of new and upcoming techniques, in return you get an AMAZING experience. If you haven t tried Vida Salon for your beauty needs, you definitely need to consider .

New to town and needed a trim for myself and two kids. Wonderful salon, got me and my kids in quickly. Treated my kids like people with a wash, cut and style that they loved. I left with my hair feeling soft and smooth. The stylists were kind, respectful and professional. Will definitely go back.

Can I give them 10 stars? My hair is very fine, hard to style. New to Temple, I was trying to find a new place to get my haircuts at. Vickie cut my hair and did such an amazing job. I showed her a couple of pics of what I had in mind, and she nailed it! Such a sweet, pleasant person and very talented. Magic wands for hands My new cut is amazing and I couldnt be happier. Every time I go to Vida, whether it be for myself or family, weve always had a great experience. Weve been getting our haircut by Vesper for years, and I recommend them to everyone. Vesper always has great recommendations for our hair concerns. If you suffer from back spasms and stiffness in your body or even get frequent headaches/migraines I HIGHLY recommend getting a routine massage with Jessie. My body lets me know when my appointment is coming up. Ive noticed a big difference in my stiffness and cronic headaces

Harleigh is amazing! This salon has the highest level of customer service. I come in once a week for a wash and blowout, I would highly recommend. Harleigh puts a lot of detail into my style and is also amazing at spray tans!!! 10 stars

My hair was dark brown, and being older, I wanted to have a lighter color with highlights. Vesper listened to what I wanted and let me know it would take a few hair appointments to achieve what I wanted. She did not lie to me and tell me that it could be achieved right away. The first time I highlighted my hair it looked so beautiful and healthy. I have been going to Vesper now to all my hair appointments, and just love my hair. I also get deep conditioning treatments that leave my hair so soft. I definitely recommend Vesper to help you with what you need. I get so many compliments. The lighter hair makes me look refreshed!

I needed a new hair salon for a while and Vida Salon was recommended to me. So glad I made my first appointment and continued coming with a more regular schedule. My hair is looking healthier than it ever has before. Vesper has been working with me and is very knowledgeable with products and styling my natural curly hair. I went back to get my sons haircut again which is why I m having to change my review and not for the better my son is 2, which requires more patience especially since it was around his nap time. I tried to put something on my phone for him to watch to help him sit still and was told not to do that which caused him to be a little more fussy. Either way she let us leave with a bowl cut and all around a HORRIBLE haircut. Thankfully it grows out fast. I didn t say anything when I was there because I don t like confrontation and felt it wasn t necessary because there was no way to put the hair back. The lady we went to was kind of rude and just all around not a good time. The first time we went it was great! This time not so much. Wanted to get my 2 year olds haircut and they were able to get me an appointment within 20 minutes! Gwen was the stylist and she was so patient and did an excellent job on his hair! Especially considering it was nap time and he was a little fussy. Kaitlyn is the one who scheduled us in so fast. When my son was fussing they did what they could to make him comfortable. Thank y all so much!! We will definitely be back!!!
