First-time customer liked the variety that offers. My negative experience was when I asked for help from a salesperson who was stocking the area I was interested in, unfortunately for our community, this salesperson supervisor didnt care about helping a customer, she ignored me, continuing to give orders to this poor fellow. I tried to think an excuse to her behavior, but I didnt find one. I wish Dillards can train it supervisors that customers are FIRST!!!!!! The salesperson is an awesome person, going above my expectations helping me find what I was looking for. I even bought more items than I thought. Im very happy with my purchase. THANK YOU WONDERFUL SALESPERSON. Woman with the cane.

This is the absolute worst service. Maybe because I didnt wear my Prada loafers that day or carry my Tory Burch tote...maybe because my husband had on a cowboy hat? We were in the men suit section and the black curly haired man with his curls in a slick ponytail never greeted nor helped us..he was to busy on his phone..he saw us..as we were there quite a while. I made eye contact and he turned around...like we didnt exist. 0/10 do not reccomend.

I have to give Dillards a 5 star rating. Customer service from their employees is exceptional. Granted, you get a higher quality of clothing and apparel. So you have to watch your pocket book. They also have a James Avery section, limited but keeps me from driving to Harker Heights. Hang in there Dillards, I really enjoy the staff and store. Update Feb 7, 2023, everything is as good as always. Styles of clothing has changed but accepted as time goes forward. Staff are a lol ways assisting your needs. Update: April 11,2023. All is well at Dillards. The only large department store left in the Temple Mall. Always new apparel available for spring and summer. Staff very friendly. Update: 14 Nov, 2023. Already starting to look like Christmas in the store. Went in to check out the new Winter clothing. Beautiful!! Was very impressed with the store and the clerks to help you. By the way, take lots of $$$. Inflation has hit here too.

We visited both Temple and Killeen mall last Saturday my husband was looking for new dress shoes. He found a pair he liked in Temple but the didnt have his size so we drove back to the Killeen mall and thank goodness they had them in his size. He got an all leather pair Fits Like a Glove Brand and he really likes them alot. Both stores had wonder associates that were very helpful and super friendly. I was a retail manager for many many years and I know great associates are hard to find. Great job to both stores.

There s no doubt this store always has little to no customers! The prices have soared and the quality of a lot of the clothing has gone way down! I have things I ve purchased for way less at Target and Walmart that last longer and were way less pricey! I ve been going here for years and this used to be one of my most favorite places to shop. There is little to nothing that even interests me there now. I used to purchase my makeup here but I don t do that now because twice I ve purchased high end makeup that expired in the same month I bought it. Sadly, Dillards is not what it used to be.

This Dillards is the worse one I have ever visited. I was walking through this store going to another store to pay a bill. A purse caught my eye that I picked up to purchase but there was no one in the handbags area so I picked it up looking for a clerk and out of no where here comes towards me what appeared to be security telling me that they wanted me to put it back not sure what he ment by that remark. I then proceeded to find a clerk to process the purchase, this guy followed me over to the person as if I was going to leave with marked down bag. I dont recommend shopping here.

Had a run in with employees at this store, that made completely zero sense. As I was waiting for family to arrive to the mall to meet for dinner, I was walking around with my kids letting them look at clothes and such. We walked into Dillards at 5:35 and was getting ready to leave at 5:50 after making the call that they close in 10 minutes. We were walking to the front of the store to leave into the mall and they had the doors locked and closed, leaving customers baffled on why they couldnt walk into the mall. Employees commented that they would try to get a manager to unlock the door and while we were waiting my wife asked why they were closed to the mall. They replied that it was policy to lock the doors at 5:30 since the mall closed at that time. Mind you we walked in at 5:35, my wife said it didnt make any since, and the employees started to argue with my wife. The manager said they wouldnt open the door to the mall because of the policy and made 4 families walk outside around the mall to get to their vehicles in the cold rain, all because people parked at other places around the mall. The employees were disrespectful and argued with my wife, I had to drag here away because they were just talking in circles, still failing to open the doors for families trying to get back to where they came from. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AND WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!

I love the associates, Melinda and Brian, who were patient w/ me. In addition, both possess superb knowledge of their products and demonstrate professionalism at best! I have been a loyal Estee Lauder customer for decades and intend to remain the same. Throughout my years as a customer, I have enjoyed occasional free samples. I understand the Economic turmoil our nation faces. But as a customer, I find it very attractive to receive free samples, especially for the amount I spend at Mac &EL. I hope Mac & Estee Lauder will reconsider sending an abundance of free samples, especially at the Temple (TX) Mall. Beauty product samples enable customers to see for themselves the reflectivity of the product. Melinda used to give me samples to try. I took the pieces I deemed helpful for me. That is how I got hooked to specific products my sensitive skin seemed to like. I highly recommend revisiting marketing strategies like freebies! Measures to minimize the stealing of freebies should be taken w/ high urgency. Both Killeen & Temple malls look like they are dying. Boost incentives and come up w/ new approaches to increase foot traffic and attract the community. HQ should help stores serving small communities and employ internal controls that best suit the demography. I will switch stores and be a loyal Dillards customer at the Temple Mall. More so, I will be shopping for all my beauty supplies at Estee Lauder & Mac. I dont mind driving 30 miles to Temple Mall. Its all worth it because I get excellent customer service! I hope that the next time I do my Christmas shopping at Mac & Estee Lauder, I will get free samples to include in the Christmas presents. My friends will most likely buy either Mac or Estee Lauder beauty products! A simple and cost-effective marketing strategy, especially this holiday season!

I went to get sized for a bra and no staff were in the bra area. I was initially told by staff to come back in an hour because that staff member just went to lunch. It was 6:00pm on a Wednesday and I was trying to get fitted a day before my birthday, which I was going out of town for, I had no time to come back. I was about to walk out when the staff asked management and they found someone to step in and she was awesome. She use to work in that department. She was fun, personable, and unique. I bought more than I intended to because of our rapport.

Great sale on dresses. However when I was checking out there was no one in the department and I went to a different department to check out and was told that I needed to check out in the area where I got the dresses from because they work off of commission. No one helped me while in the store and I was not going to walk back to the dress area to wait for someone to come back to check me out. Dillards appears to be well stocked, and there was ample staff to provide service. I ranked three of five stars because I saw the experience as adequate and was not wowed by any aspect of my visit. I think perhaps my rating is I fluenced by the overall decline of the mall, which is essentially on life support and largely feels like and indoor flea market. Visit with confidence that Dillards is prepared to receive you and provide service, but be advised there is not much to see at the mall other than Dillards and a handful of stores

Just wanted to take the time to write a review for this store. I don t usually write reviews but my experience was enough for me to ask the employee her name and come on down here to write a review. I have never been to a Dillard s store before but a friend recommended it to me since I was looking for a quality wedding gift. I walked in sort of knowing what I wanted but still was unsure and was feeling a little over whelmed with the variety of options. An employee, she went by shammy I believe was extremely helpful and helped pick the perfect gift. Will definitely be coming back if I am in need of bedding or home appliances or anything I need. The employee shammy or shamy I apologized if I spelled it wrong. Made me fee comfortable and was very very patient with me as I was very picky since it was a very special Gift, but she happily guided me and showed exactly what I needed even when I didn t know I needed it. Even walked away with a few things I was not looking for.

Wow. The mall that this Dillards is in has 28 closed stores! I shopped at Dillards today for perfume. They have always had an outstanding cosmetics department. Ditto for accessories. As for clothing, it seems to go super trendy (juniors) to extremely plain.(everyone else) For example, I think some of this clothing has been here for years. Too harsh? Maybe. But, I dont buy clothes here.

Shopping Today in the Polo Section , no sizes matched in sweat suits so took a while to find A matching set in XXL. An Armed sheriffs officer came and Stood Guard right at the table I was at, being the only person in the section it was made obvious I was being targeted, at which point having a couple outfits I went to check out. . . Stranger still, both my PRE PAID Debit cards were declined, both having M O R E than enough money to cover the ticket . . . Not only was I racially profiled and harassed by an Armed security, but My PRE PAID Cards were systematically declined as well. Is very clean and very nice on the inside. The downside is that everything is terribly overpriced. A jacket can cost $600 when you can find it for $60 somewhere else. I was able to buy the Xbox Series X and the same jacket at Target with the same $600. I can afford to buy any item in this store, but that doesnt mean Im gonna buy it if someone else sells it cheaper. I save that extra money for something else. Im surprised its the only store still in business at this mall.

The selection was so vast, and the store attendants were very nice and helpful. I purchased make- up while there and the young lady matched me perfectly and did a light application. She was very nice and we had a pleasant conversation. I want to go back to this store particularly and I dont even live there!!
