This is one of my familys favorite places to eat. The food is always amazing, and the service is very friendly. We have come to this location for over a year now, and I do not think we have ever got anything less than 5 star quality. If you want the ultimate treat, get Sophias Molcajete. Its a family favorite. Very good and fresh food, beer-ritas and service. Its a great place to enjoy a great meal with family and friends. We had the steak fajitas and loved it! Coconut Flan for dessert was amazing and suggested by our waitress.

This place is fantastic. I have struggled to find pupusas in the local area and thank goodness now I have finally found one. All of the Mexican food is completely aces. I appreciate the diversity between the two cultural dishes and this restaurant has become a weekly staple. The service is fantastic and the margaritas are also absolutely on point. Happy hour is also very very good.

Atmosphere is dark and feels uninviting, the queso blanco was warm, not hot, and lumpy. The mole was good, salmon plate was ok, the seasoned veggies were the best thing. The service was slow, but the bar was good as we had specialty margaritas and they were tasty. Sadly I do not think that we will return.

This place is a joke. I ordered chicken fajita nachos and beef nachos and I got ground beef and shredded chicken stacked on top of each other.So it was a soggy mess. Then I called for an hour and a 1/2 and nobody could answer the phone and tell me the name of a manager. Dont waste your time with these jokers.

It took 15 minutes to get the appetizers, and about 30 minutes after that, to get the food. The food was either bland or undercooked or both. The steak was the best part, and even then, it wasnt that great. The water tasted like chemicals. We asked for virgen strawberry daiquiri, which just tastes like water with a hint of strawberry. The manager did not come by and talk to us but straight ignored us. Our waiter barely came over. And they got one order completely wrong as in a different order entirely. The chili con quaso was nothing but liquid cheese with chili powder on top, and every other was basically string cheese. Extremely disappointed!

Great little restaurant! I got the brisket enchiladas with sauce on the side. The brisket was delicious! The tortillas were on the thicker side, so i didnt love that part of it. My daughter got the ground beef tacos, they were very tasty! My son got the kids chicken meal and it was tons of food and the chicken had great flavor! The customer service was excellent, we will definitely be back!

I went here to get food to go. The guy Ricardo had a really shady attitude like he did not want to serve me or even work. Luckily for this place, I wasnt getting food for me. Otherwise, I wouldnt have even tolerated this foolery. He was really dry and unenthusiastic nor spoke English well. He didnt know the answers to my questions he had to go get the menu and then just kind of gave it to me w no guidance. I wont return for myself or anyone else.

Drinks were thick and too sweet without enough ice, salsa was watery. The Frozen drink Machine make an upsurd amount of loud noise when it cycles on. The Ice Machine behind the bar was loud as well. Staff seems disinterested and has a lack of detail. We wont be back. I would not recommend.

Only white people with 0 taste buds have said good things about this place. Super rude service and the food sucks! Tried this place twice! If I could give ZERO stars I would. After confronting the manger and the waiter about false charges they refused to watch the cameras and started to belittle us. The manager openly admitted to not wanting to watch the cameras and then told us we would be paying for services we did not eat or drink. This is not okay with me and I hope everyone who visits this place looks over their check throughly. Don t let the owner fool you we asked him to watch the cameras and he refused saying it was to long to watch. We also did asked him to call law enforcement with multiple comments made and they refused. So although they may try and call me a scammer I am more then happy to pay for what I eat or drink but refuse to give away hard earned money for meals or drinks I never received. The lack of professional and respect for paying customers is pathetic and outrageous. I had never asked them to remove multiple things from my check but simply remove one item that was never ordered. See the owners response as that just proves my point.

When myself and few other friends arrived the older lady (who I found out is the General Manager s mother) greeted us with an attitude. One friend had been waiting for us but then walked out after paying for her margarita to greet us outside. We all came back inside and she apologized for leaving without saying anything and coming back. We were seated in the booth behind the one she was originally at and the lady was complaining to the other servers about her moving booths. She moved over the waters that were left behind on that table to our current table and we did not complain. Throughout our time there I heard her talking bad about my friend in Spanish and complained about what happened after my friend continually apologized for the inconvenience. A little before we left the same lady came up to us and asked if she could take our chips and salsas to which we responded with a yes. She proceeded to stack one salsa on top of another aggressively and with such an attitude. She almost spilled some salsa on another friend s keys and didn t apologize. She kept looking over at our booth and making rude comments in spanish not realizing most of us understood her. Overall was a very bad experience compared to other times we have gone where we were served with server s with great attitudes. All the employees seemed to be tense and the service was negative because of this older lady being there.

This has to be the worst food weve ever had in the seven years weve lived here in Texas not to mention how it looked to the eye.! True rating 5/10 Simple and clean Tex-Mex. Great free appetizers with the chip dipping options that are great. Ordered Steak and Shrimp also Shrimp of Ajo. Shrimp was excellent but the steak ordered rare didnt seem up to par. Service was fast for both my orders. Restaurant also participating in the T-Mobile dining advantage. I just found this gem of a restaurant! In the 8 years Ive lived in the area, I dont know why Ive never tried the food here. Upon entering, my family and I were greeted by Renata, who was one of if not the best server Ive ever had. Every question answered with a smile. My family and I ordered the sour cream chicken enchiladas, carne flameada, a kids quesadilla, and a kids chicken finger. Did I have some of all of it? Yes! Should I have? Yes! Was I more full than I was on Thanksgiving? Yes! The food was amazing! The service was amazing! I will try to return as soon as possible. If you are thinking of coming here. Do it!

I ordered the Chimichanga, and got a burrito (not fried at all). The waitress was patronizing me saying the sauce softens the outside. No, I know the difference. Finally put my foot down and asked it be redone. I got an actual FRIED burrito, which is a chimichanga. The redo included cheese too so tasted much better. Didnt appreciate being lied to or having to push to get it done right. She later said it comes that way because most people dont like them fried. That would make it a burrito! Ugh. Weve been here before and this same person was nice and service and food was good, but she was snarky and curt this time around which ruined the experience. (Lady around 25-30 with short dark hair) Im giving 3 stars averaging or experiences. Will give it one more try to find out how 2 out of 3 goes. Hoping for the best. We ordered to go one chicken enchilada with sour cream sauce with rice and Charro beans, and one enchilada motado with queso on the top with all Charro beans, with the order already bagged up we did not check it and when we got it to the house, it was too enchilada Montadas with sour cream sauce on the top, both with rice and Charro beans. When I called back up there to explain to them what happened, I ended up talking to three different people getting a run around and finally when I ask for the manager, he came on the line and said that the waiter repeated the order back, and we said yes so basically they were saying that we weren t telling the truth and they would not make good on the right order. Stay away from this place if you want good service.

Had an absolutely wonderful first experience at Mario s. The food was fantastic and I took the recommendations of our server Renata. It s like she was in my head. She knew exactly what I would like. My wife also very much enjoyed her meal. The Baja Shrimp are fantastic and you must try the black rice. Will absolutely return. Ask to sit in Renata s section. Loved this restaurant. The Salvadorian dishes are authentic and bring back such great memories from my travels there. The atmosphere is more of a sports Mexican cantina because of all the TVs and bar. The Queso Blanco and Enchiladas were delicious. Big thumbs up there. Overall Price was affordable for a family of 4-6 to eat without breaking the bank. Will definitely be going back.

Edit to add: The waitress took it upon herself to add a tip to my check when one wasnt left. No she did not deserve one cause she didnt do anything. I will be filing a police report as that is considered theft. One of my neighbors recommended Marios saying it was a great place to eat. I have to say it definitely was not a great place at all. My family and I were the only customers in the restaurant so it shouldnt have been terrible. Our waitress took our order, brought our drinks and queso and then never returned back to the table to check up on us or anything. She never brought any chips to go with our queso either. We were done eating and had to sit there for a while cause no one came over to us. They were all sitting at a table in the back of the restaurant. Finally after 15 minutes my husband had to stick out from the booth to get someones attention. Another waitress came over and we had to tell her we were ready to go. She got our check for us which was wrong so the manager had to fix it and then our normal waitress brought it back to us after another 10 minutes. Remind you we are the only customers in the restaurant. I love trying new places but have only ran into a handful that were terrible and this was one of them. I am not going to critique the food cause everyones taste is different. One person may say the food is great while another says it is horrible. I will say though, it wasnt terrible just not to my likings. So if you have made it this far. I am giving it a 1 star based off of service because there really wasnt any.

Lovely Little Elm gem! We stopped in for a quick lunch after just driving by the area. Very nice yet casual interior setup, our server was friendly and helpful in recommending the specialty items. We ordered a chicken fajita taco salad and chicken fajita quesadilla, both were packed with flavor and ample portion sizes. The chips and dip/salsas were delish as well. Frozen Margaritas were just right, just enough punch and blended just right. Oh and there is a happy hour offered. Win win! We are already scoping out the menu for our next visit.

Robert gave excellent attention to detail, was kind, courteous, and professional. Fajitas Montado and Seafood Plate were perfectly prepared and flavorful. The salsa is one of our favorites. Hit the spot!

Only 4 stars for atmosphere because the AC couldnt keep up with a fully packed room at 630p. BUT!!! The food and margaritas were off the charts. Its going to take a few years to keep going back to try everything on the menu. The ribeye, Carne Asada, was amazing. The borracho beans were soooo good! Very fresh.

Just had a horrible experience. We were sat at our table and the hostess went to the server and he pointed to another server to take our order. This went over on for about a minute before he walked to the kiosk got menus and walked to the table. I politely declined and left the establishment. He didn t know how was a server and hold them to high regard. I tip my bill or $20, whatever is higher.

I enjoyed this place right here. I had the Enchiladas, but it is some of the best I have had in a restaurant via Texas. (It was so delicious that I almost proposed marriage to the cook) Long story short, swing on by and fill that belly up. I might even see you there because Im definitely going back.

Marios is a favorite of ours that weve been going to for years. You dont have to wait long for a table, and its a convenient location. Armando and Renata make us feel like were not just going into a restaurant but getting together with family. They make every visit feel special with their attentive, friendly demeanor. The genuine appreciation they have for each guest shows from the moment you walk in. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the ambiance is laid-back. Theres care put into every aspect of this restaurant. The menu includes a unique flavorful blend of Mexican and Salvadorian cuisine. They are miserable. They charge you for cilantro and onion, which has to come with the carne asada tacos. I wanted to talk to the manager and an arrogant skinny guy arrived with terrible service and horrible food.

Went for the first time on #Cincodemayo! The atmosphere was fun and energetic with a DJ and live singing from some staff! Our server had a wonderful voice! The margaritas were good...the food was delicious. We had Carne Asada and Cheese Enchiladas. It was VERY busy yet our server was great. Our wait to be seated was about 10-15 minutes. Not bad at all. We will definitely go back. We were so thrilled to find this hidden gem in Little Elm! Parking: Parking is limited on busy nights. Might have to circle a few times!

The service is amazing. Abel did a great job as our server, I would ask for him again! We were seated quickly, got our drinks and food very quickly, I never had an empty cup and they kept the beans, salsa, and chips coming! I would say the food is pretty good, my husband said it s the best fajitas he s had in this area.
