Its such a well focused area. There are plenty of dining options. Shopping galore. Our favorite is entertainment. Movie in the Plaza, live music, car shows, New years celebration, craft markets, etc. What would be really cool is to see a farmers market weekly. It is such a fun area and a must visit if you are new to the area.

B B Italia was my 2nd restaurant to try for Houston Restaurant Week. I m trying to get as many in before it ends September 2nd I ordered fried calamari for my first course; Eggplant Parmesan for my second; rainbow cake for my third. Let me first start by saying from the time that I walked through the door, everyone was very friendly! The host that seated me, was very nice and even on occasion, stopped briefly at my table to check on me. My server, Adrian, was great! He was friendly and very attentive. Always had a smile and made me feel that he enjoyed his job and enjoyed being there. Now, moving onto the food All was very good but the fried calamari and rainbow cake were my favorite! The calamari was fried to perfection and seasoned so well! If was fresh and it was a lot of pieces for an appetizer! By the time my entree came, I was almost full! I only took one bite of the Eggplant Parm because by this time, I was almost pushing it BUT I had to try the cake; at least one petit four . It was not dry nor too sweet. I could taste what I thought was a hint of almond extract; not overpowering at all. This is definitely a restaurant to put on my list!

Visited the small downtown of the sugarland. Its full of greenery, multiple restaurant options like German grill,Japanese restaurant. They have free parking garage for walking around ,which havent seen across in other Texas cities. Good place to visit in Texas.

Sugar Land Town Square offers a lot of cool, free things to do, including concerts. (Full disclosure: Im with the band whose photos Im sharing.) Ive been to many concerts here and have always had a good time. Most recently, I went to Already Gone Presents Eagles, admittedly as part of the bands organization, however, I did spend most of the second set in a camp chair front and center just enjoying the band. I do love that youre surrounded by so many restaurants within walking distance that you can pop in for whatever your heart desires and enjoy a picnic while listening to a great band. Theyve recently upgraded the square with a faux grass surface over a springy padding that is actually quite comfortable, and probably appreciated by all the little ones running around. They have limited big, round plastic chairs scattered around the square (you can see a couple of them in the forefront of my crowd photo) that are moveable, and surprisingly, quite comfy, although Id highly recommend you bring your own seating because those seats go fast. Parking is plentiful and free in the parking garages, and there is also limited metered parking. The one drawback can be the amount of traffic in and out of the garages, but it moves quickly, and really, theres no place you can go for a concert this size thats not going to have traffic. All in all, with the easy access to parking and the variety of food and drink available, I think this is a great place to see a show, and Id highly recommend it.

Very interesting place. You have a green area for children to play, a ton of great restaurants and bars, various shops, art and hotels. During the summer, they host movie nights, and on holidays, they have community get-togethers. A great place for the family, date night, or a night out with friends.
