I went to this place on a Friday for a birthday celebration. I was disappointed to find out that they didnt have live music. I guess I should have called ahead to check. The place has a cool vibe and the food is okay, but nothing to rave about. However, we had a great server who made sure we had everything we needed.

We had date night here last night. I ll break down my review. Starting with atmosphere: the staff here were all incredibly kind. The hostess chose the music playlist and I loved it! The restaurant wants to have a classy atmosphere, and it may have been that way when it first opened; however, it has not been well maintained. The booth we sat in was so torn up on the seat that they laid blankets on top of it for us to sit on. The paint on the walls was chipping and peeling, the chairs were scratched up and looked like they hadn t been taken care of, the tables were marble, so they looked nice. The lamp on our table was scratched up and didn t work, the painting on the wall was crooked it s a shame because this place has such potential if it was better maintained! The view is beautiful! Service: everyone was kind. Our waitress was nice, but stayed in the kitchen in between visiting our table, so we waited a while to have our water refilled and to pay for our meal. We didn t mind the waiting, though. Food: Appetizers: we ordered the spring rolls and the fried pickles. The rolls were delicious. We had no criticism for the taste of them. The fried pickles were salty, but I love salty, so I loved them. They were very crunchy and tasted more like chips with a pickle taste. I loved them. The presentation on the apps was pretty sad. They came out on a bed of wilted romaine lettuce. Made it look like a cheap restaurant. The sauces were also served in plastic. Not what I would expect for a restaurant with these prices. The apps were good, but absolutely over priced. If the presentation would have been better, I think I would have felt better about paying those prices. My husband ordered the NY strip. He was only able to eat about 1/3 of it because it had SO much fat. But, he said that the portion he was able to eat did taste wonderful. The mashed potatoes were most definitely from a box. Unbelievable for this restaurant with these prices to have boxed mashed potatoes!! He subbed the mac and cheese for his second side and the mac and cheese was incredible! I ordered the grilled branzino fish. The fish was well cooked, the sauce was delicious with the mushrooms. The spinach was inedible. It was SO salty that I coughed. Drinks do not come with refills. You will pay for every soda/tea. Gratuity is included on every order. All in all, we do not regret dining here, but we won t come again. If the restaurant wasn t in such poor condition, I could almost justify the food prices. With the exception of those boxed mashed potatoes. That is absolutely unacceptable that they serve boxed mashed potatoes and charge $50 for the plate. The salty spinach can be fixed quick, that happens sometimes, I don t fault the chef for that!

One they don t have enough waiters to serve anybody. Two it took for than 30 minutes for drinks to come out. Three because the drinks came so late we tried to cancel our food key word tried. They wouldn t let us cancel because the waiter took a guess & said our food might be ready so we said just cancel it. They did not want to cancel the food because as they said it s already ready but it did not touch the table. The atmosphere was trash w light bulbs not on and a mirror about to fall off the wall. When we did ask for a manager it took 25 minutes for her to come and we weren t the only table waiting for her. She went to the host of the party instead of coming to me (the person that s paying the tab) with an issue that could ve been resolved if she came to me. Then the waiter still brought out the food out still when we told her we didn t want it. She tried to get us to take the food when we specifically told her we did not want it. THEY WERE TRYING TO MAKE US PAY FOR FOOD THAT DID NOT TOUCH THE TABLE AND WE DID NOT WANT. Then when the manager did come out she never talked to me directly and when I did try to talk to her with the host she would not talk to me at all and looked at me like I was gum at the bottom of her shoe. She never came to talk to me (the person paying the tab). Both of the managers would not look or talk to me at all and tried to make the host pay my tab when it was me that wanted to talk to the manager in the first place.

We had reservations for 7pm with preselected meals. I didn t get my meal until 8:35pm. The broccoli, mashed potatoes, and lamb chops were cold. The waitress took my plate to warm it in the microwave which overcooked the lamb chops. The meal was ruined. Maybe a Saturday is not the right night. This was not worth the hype!!!!

Dont waste yout time and money!!!! This place is horrible!!! We (76 people) were having a conference at a hotel nearby. The conference planners booked with the Roof 2-3 months in advance for a Saturday night dinner. The menu was all preselect so they knew what to expect. Reservations were at 7pm, we were seated about 7:30pm. It got so much worse from there! They had temporary staff come in to help them for the night with no training at all. Our waited said he had just arrived prior to us and was told nothing. He didnt take drink orders, another person came and filled up the water glass, and was never seen again. So 4 of us went to the bar to order drinks. The bartender had 5 inch artificial nails on and was so slow. She was training a new bartender. You dont do that on a night such as this!!! The drinks were terrible, like how do you mess up an appletini?!?!? After 2 hours food started arriving. You would think they would have prepped better. The lamb chop meals came out first and the plate was cold. The chicken pasta was the third food selection that came out from all our pre-orders. There wasnt anything spectacular about the meal. Now, lets talk about the payment. They sent one server to hand out all 76 receipts and take payments. Who does this?!?!? I understand gratity, but this amount was ridiculous for the service and quality of food received. And the additional fee if you pay with a credit card. Waiting over an hour to check out! Never ever will I return or tell anyone to come to this restaurant! And the bathroom was out of tissue the entire 4 hours we ended up being there.

Very disappointed, we stood at the front for over 15 mins and no one never came out to seat us. There were multiple servers that seen us standing there and never went to get the hostess. Finally I had to go to the bar and ask them to grab the hostess. she comes out to tell us that its an hr wait,since we dont have a reservation. If someone was there from the beginning it wouldve saved us a lot of time. Im very disappointed in the customer service.

I celebrated my daughter s Birthday here and it was really nice!!! As soon as you go up stairs they have a back drop to take photos. Walking in it has a very romantic atmosphere. The food was good and so was the service. The hostess was really sweet and said they have jazz nights on Fridays. It is pricey for 4 people it came to over 200$ and gratuity is added in. Also if your going to bring a cake in and want to save money bring in your own plates and knives otherwise they charge 35 to cut and serve.. The patio is smaller but a beautiful view. I would recommend this place.

The drinks/food were decent and the rooftop view if not hot outside is actually nice. The fact they charge an automatic service fee gratuity for a small table is the biggest scam. Those two words dont belong in the same sentence and they should be ashamed. There is no such thing as service fee gratuity and is deceiving. They should just up their food prices to carry the service fee if they need it so badly. Gratuity is something given for great service and going beyond normal services; not this entitlement that the customer is responsible for employees pay. Parking: Plenty of parking and a quick elevator ride to the top should you not want to take the stairs

I don t really know where to start. This place has a cool atmosphere, music, lighting, outside area, etc. all of that was wonderful. The service is really bad though. We tried to enjoy ourselves as this was my sisters birthday. It was 3 adults and two kids. We made a reservation. We were two minutes past the grace period when we arrived. The lady took 10 minutes to re do a reservation when no one and I do mean no one else was there waiting. She couldn t just take us back to one of the oh 20 -25 empty tables. Reservations were not required so we were not sure why she felt the need to make us wait and wait when we were two minutes(literally) late. It s not like they didn t have tables available.That was strike 1 and I knew then . Next it took forever to get our food. 2 chicken and fry orders. A lamb chop dinner, a chicken po boy sandwich and a fried red snapper dish. We did not have any napkins at the table which the kids noticed and asked what kind of place it was as they thought it was supposed to be nice and if it s nice you should the napkins to place across the lap no biggie although irritating that we had to ask. Food arrived after 40-45 minutes of wtg. Lamb chops were just ok but a no for the price. They should really try seasoning their food. The red fish was over cooked. And I do definitely mean overcooked and we all noticed it as soon as the server sat the plate down. That dish was $40. It was plated with just broccoli. The fish was so overcooked it was rubber on the inside and the outside was about as hard as a rock literally. The fact that the cook or chef would allow that to leave his kitchen and serve that to a customer for that price is astounding to me. We told the server it was just too overcooked. He was very pleasant but I know he saw it too as he brought it out and still continues to serve that. People will do anything at these restaurants. They asked if I wanted something else. I ordered a to go meal at that point. Kinda ruined the mood. We also took note that no one else came in after us so they had lots of empty tables on a Saturday night at 8-9 pm. So the whole reservation debacle was quite disturbing. Why could be not just be taken to a table you had available. Why did this lady have to make us another reservation standing in front of her with 25 vacant tables! Just blew out minds. We went to the bathroom to take the kids of course. The 8 year old said how do they not have any paper towels in their bathroom. Is the staff not washing their hands if they come to the bathroom the 8 year old had sense enough to question that herself. This place could be very decent but is lacking true customer service ( besides our waiter, he was very personable and had a great attitude). The food is lackluster and the chef should be replaced sending out food like that. I mean, who can t fry fish .The fact they were prepared to serve that is even more problematic. I do understand why the place was not packed out on a weekend. They probably do not get repeat business unless it s family. This is. It somewhere you go spend your hard earned money over and over again. They need to do better! It s just kind of a mess. Unfortunate because the vibe and atmosphere is great but that s it. Do not waste your time here. No one in my party is coming back. The owners/management need to revamp redo and replace some things and or people or both. They did bring out a birthday cake for my sis at the end and pumped up the music and danced a little for her birthday. I think that was mostly the server trying to make up for the food. We did appreciate his effort. He was quite pleasant and did a decent job .the rest . Never again. Overpriced and simply not that good.

Nice location. However, it was very hot. This was at 7 pm with no sun, the salad was dry, and there was no dressing. So I tried the food, it was very greasy, and there was no sauce or dipping sauce for anything. The service was awful. They serve food as a buffet style in our area. But it took her an hour to get plates. You can not get a to-go box. You have to eat all your food there. So if you are a light eater, beware. The price is $36. If you are in a group, gratuity will push it to $48 per person. Its not worth the money. Dont even bother!

The food was subpar, the drinks and appetizer took way too long to come out, and we were unable to access the rooftop. We were a party of 4 and no one enjoyed their food. The fried snapper was cold and bland, the steak was tough, the mashed potatoes had a weird taste, and the crab was fishy. One person sent her food back and the second dish was inedible. The only tolerable food was the shrimp pasta but you could find better at a different restaurant. For the price, we could have gone to Churrasco s and had a view of the water. It seems like it be a good spot for drinks and/or a private party.

Took wifey out for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Server took us in with open arms and provided exceptional customer service. The food was delicious and came out warm. This is the second time Ive been here and felt welcome as a customer. Its great ambience with a beautiful view of the lake. I would recommend and come back to this establishment without hesitation

My husband and I went to brunch and had a reservation. Wish we would have been able to sit outside on the patio, but even though it was a gorgeous day it was HOT lol. Nice and attentive staff, great ambiance. My husband ordered a special dessert for our anniversary coming up and the staff brought a complimentary dessert and played Toni Tony Tone anniversary . Great food and drinks. Clean chill atmosphere. Highly recommended for an early brunch!

I visited The Roof on Thursday after my goddaughters graduation ceremony. Her mother made reservations 2-3 weeks in advance for a party of 12, but one person couldnt attend, so we were a party of 11. Upon arrival, an older woman at the hostess stand informed us that the manager would be with us shortly. Our reservation was for 6:30 pm, but we werent seated until 6:45 pm. After the wait, we were seated at three and a half tables since we had three children with us (ages 12, 7, and 5). The half table was uneven and wobbly. I mentioned this to our server, Zyria, who was excellent. She said she would ask the manager to stabilize the table, but no one came. After mentioning it a third time, our server attempted to fix it herself. Our server took our drink and appetizer orders, and about 20 minutes later, we received our food and drinks. Despite there being another large party and a few smaller groups, the restaurant was not crowded. However, our main issues began when we ordered our food around 7:30 pm and did not receive it until 9:15 pm. We asked for updates multiple times and were told our food would be out shortly. The other large party received their food about 30 minutes before us, and they had two servers assisting them. When our food finally arrived, our server was alone, with no assistance or manager checking on us. The manager, instead, was seen conversing with two other women who appeared to be friends. To add to our disappointment, one guest ordered a side of shrimp that never arrived, another requested to substitute Cajun rice for mashed potatoes but was told there were none, despite seeing another table with them. We ordered Sprites for the kids, only to be told they were out and only had Ginger Ale. The shrimp and grits dish looked good, but the grits were watery. Another guests order of Wes Chicken was never brought out, so she canceled her order. I asked our server to get the manager, which took about 15 minutes. When the manager arrived, we explained our issues, including the delayed seating, long wait for food, lack of communication, and unavailability of certain items. I emphasized that our server had been excellent throughout and did her best to address our concerns. The manager, however, did not offer any solutions or compensation. She simply said Im sorry in a dry manner. When a guest called her out for giving a strange look, the manager responded defensively, which was unprofessional and unempathetic. It was evident that the managers attitude affected our server, who appeared to have been crying when she returned to our table. This entire experience was extremely disappointing, and I doubt I will return to The Roof. We were charged for refills and felt our dissatisfaction was not addressed. We would have left, but this was the only place that could accommodate our party size at that time. Lesson learned The Roof did not meet our expectations. Kid-friendliness: Not really- there isnt a kids menu at all. Would not bring small kids here.

This place gave me and my family the worst experience you can imagine. My sister booked them for my nieces graduation, and THEY DID NOT SERVE US!!! An entire party with balloons and decorations to celebrate a once in a lifetime experience. I stood at the bar 3 times and didnt get served. We wanted to watch the NBA game with the TV that was in our section, and they lied and said it it didnt work. My brother in law turned the TV on and it worked perfectly. Then when we asked to change the channel, they said We need a manager. Nobody showed up, and my brother in law managed to get the right channel himself. They brought my nieces Graduation cake and it was completely destroyed because someone dropped it! It was completely SMASHED!!! So of course we are upset, and they called the police who responded faster than anyone there who was supposed to service us. Even the cops couldnt believe how terrible the service was and gave us advice on how to dispute any charges from this place. Dont bring anyone you care about here. Maybe a someone you dont care about would like it.

If you want to sit and have water down,wrong ordered food and slow service with ZERO accountability. Here s the place. Took my wife out for dinner. Made reservations for 8. Got there a little early but we were sat at about 745. Waitresses didn t come to the table to get drinks ordered till about 8. We ordered food and drinks at this time. Appetizers came at 815 drinks didn t come till 830. Ordered food and food didn t get there till 9ish. In the meanwhile we are asking what s the hold up. The waitress is no where to be found. Asking other people to find out what s the issue. Our waitress finally comes out but sits a plate down that s not my food nor my wife s. She takes that same plate and bring it to another table in which I would have sent that back. Hair not tied up and reaching over our food and drinks to refill them. We get the bill and they charged 35$ on top of the bill and additional tip for the food. 35$ is for the service charge. Called the manager over. Explained and they took off the charge. Needless to say we won t be back

Horrible service. After being seated, it took almost an hour to get a mimosa. It took us nearly 2 hours to get our food. Service was extremely slow. 30 minutes after we sat, they were still trying to figure out who our server would be. Our Mother s Day brunch was ruined. I actually canceled my order because everyone at my table had their food besides me, and the person next to me was almost done with his food. Once we got food, it took FOREVER to get silverware. Overall, it was a terrible experience and poor service. Save your money and go elsewhere. Did I mention it was hot . We were all sweating.

As a former employee this has to be the nastiest place Ive ever worked at, roaches, Nats, and fruit flies everywhere. 20% auto gratuity which is supposed to be even split between bartender and servers is a complete lie. You make about 10 bucks an hour if you are lucky. So if a server messes up it screws your check up but she keeps all the money from food and drinks that is way over priced. Do not go to this place to eat or work. The owner doesnt show you how much you make every day and shorts you on your tips and the payout is garbage. I worked 6 days in a row 4 were busy as hell and 2 were steady I made 550 for 2 weeks. Yeah you get paid every 2 weeks and you sign a w9 so basically is has the right to pay you what she wants. Beware of this scam of a place for a job and store bought food she serves. Also they refill wine bottles and liquor bottles and no TABC sticker on the bottles.

The restaurant smelled like the plumbing was venting in the restaurant. There was accumulated dust on the lights and rafters. Some of the dinning room lights did not work or needed new bulbs. The windows and glass door needed to be cleaned. We were served water from a carafe with floating something in it. The carafe needed to be cleaned it was greasy. We did not bother to order. We just simply left with disdain. The restaurant is set in a beautiful location but simply need to be taken care of...especially cleaned for food service. Wow.

Came for a celebration on a Saturday night. Besides the party, only 3 other groups were there the entire time and it s for a reason. The food is not as bad as people made it out to be online I m not sure if maybe the chef was different or maybe people have different taste. The service however left something to be desired. The waiters and waitresses themselves were so nice, but it s true what people say the manager is SO RUDE. Food took an hour to come out if it came out at all. Then the manager walked up to those of the party who didn t get their food and proceeded to ask if they even ordered and had to ask what it was they wanted where it was again another long wait. The servers were sorry and you could tell they were doing the best they could but man with a manager like that I m not sure why they still work there. With new management this place could be such a hit, but service is horrible and food is not worth the wait (not to say it isn t good but with an hour wait with an almost completely empty restaurant I d expect Michelin star quality). I would never go back again though, with everything I said it left a bad impression and I m just surprised to see how so many of these bad reviews said the same thing. I visited this establishment on 4/25/2024 with a party of 7 people (myself included). The atmosphere was really nice, good music. We had a waitress who was very new and she did tell us that it was her 2nd day so my review isn t a reflection on her. I think she did pretty good being that it was her 2nd day of work. Upon being seated, I ordered a virgin drink. It took 1 hour to receive my nonalcoholic beverage. Now to the food. I ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. It was flavorless and dry. The spinach was tough. I was a little apprehensive about ordering an entree but I was hungry so I ordered Wes s Fried Chicken which came with chicken, collard greens, and Mac and cheese. First of all from my experience only, when ordering at an upscale restaurant, I ve never received a chicken thigh or chicken leg. So my chicken pieces was a 1 thigh, 2 legs, 1 wing. The chicken was barely seasoned. The greens were tasteless and were the equivalent of chewing on paper. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and very little cheese. It was very dry. Out of the 7 of us, no one ate their food. I did agree to pay but knew I d never visit again and I would do a review. If I had to recommend anything out of all that was ordered, I d suggest the water.

I took my girlfriend to The Roof restaurant last night for her birthday. We always take each other out for our birthdays. We have been doing this for over 15 yrs. The Roof was the worst restaurant that we have eaten at. In terms of atmosphere, FOOD, and service. I read the reviews, but I wanted to give them a chance. I should have believed the reviews. I had a reservation. When we arrived, we waited 10 minutes to be seated. The waitress handed us a standard printing paper as the menu. We asked for bread or chips. The response was we do not serve bread . I questioned as to why I have a bread plate on the table. We were told that it was there if I had something to put on it. We smiled and moved on. The flatware s are very inferior and very lightweight. My friend and I ordered. We requested for the appetizers not come with the entrees. My girlfriend mozzarella sticks arrived, but not my salad. She took a bite and said this is terrible and left the rest. My salad arrives about 7 minutes later with my entrée. I commented that my entrée was going to get cold while eating my salad. The server just ignored me and left. I took 2 bites of the salad and started eating my entrée. I ordered Land and Sea. The lamb was tough and no taste. I was not given a steak knife so therefore it was difficult to cut the lamb chops. The lobster had a very unhealthy amounts of sodium. It was so salty that I could not eat it. That entrée was $59.00. The mashed potatoes had no taste. My friend ribeye was just as nasty for $42.00. We didn t even look at the dessert nor was it offered. Requested to speak to the manager. We waited for her to make her rounds with the complaints before she could get to us. Her name is Dee and with an attitude. I complaint about the salty lobster, tough lamb chops and watery tasting mashed potatoes. She apologized and could not wait to walk away. Meanwhile total charged $191.18, $29.00 automatically charged service fee gratuity. $5.22 for using ATM/CREDIT card not cash. It s difficult to support such a restaurant. I will not recommend nor go back to the Roof. I hope these same people experience horrible tasting food in their free time when they go out. Ashley was our waitress. She did the best she could given the circumstances.

I was truly disappointed is my experience at this establishment, I wanted so much to enjoy myself. To start with service was extremely slow took our table 45 minutes to get our first drink. My friend got the boudin balls and they were cold and mushy, fried pickles had no seasoning just bland. Took us forever to finally get our food and when we did not one person enjoyed it, lambchops were over cooked, greens had NO seasoning and were hard or weren t cooked long enough, shrimp and grits roux tasted like velveeta cheese, all the seafood tasted frozen, pasta was oily and not cooked long enough. There was absolutely nothing good about our meals. Everyone sent their plates back. The drinks were good although when my friend ordered her Long Island ice tea she sent it back because it had too much coke in it the bar tender came to the table to ask why my friend didn t like it and when she told her it was too dark and tasted as if there was too much coke the bartender got a nasty attitude and told her if she remakes it that it was just going to taste the same. WARNING: After reading the terrible reviews and against my better judgement I decided to visit the Roof and find out for myself. I thought surely it can t be that bad!!WRONG!! It was worse!!! Had a reservation for 5:30p and there were no other customers in the place. The website advertised Happy Hour from 5-7 so we ordered 4 $12 Very small peach cosmos. Fried pickles and each an entree one was lobster tail and shrimp the other 3 stuffed wings with Cajun rice. The checked arrived and I felt like I was literally ROBBED of $185!!! The drinks were regular price and told happy hour is only for brunch that s not what your website says Then to add insult to injury they automatically add %18 gratuity for all parties which is in the very tiny print of the menu that no one reads!!! In addition, they charge a fee for using any credit cards or bank cards that was another $5!! Then to make things worse the food is not even good!! There was a total of maybe 10 people in the place during the 2 hours we were there. I don t know how they stay open but trust me it won t be much longer and immediately understood why no one was in there. If I had adhered to the bad reviews I could have saved my self a painful experience! Lesson learned and rest assure I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THERE AGAIN. They need to be shut down! I could have gone to Perry s a mile away and had a totally different experience for the price of this nightmare. We drove down from Bryan,Tx to attend a birthday party. The restaurant is very lovely & great music. It was a party of about 20 of us. Our waitress had no clue what they had to serve on 4/6/24. Everything we asked about on the menu she replied Let me check to see. We had to go to the bar and get our second drinks because the waitress never returned to clean off the table from our first drinks. Well anyway my first chop was very good but my potatoes didnt have any garlic in them so I asked for... mac&cheese (great)!..asked for a to go box to take the rest of my food home. Got home and later that night decided to eat the other chop and as I was warming it up it started to smell. YEAH !!! THE OTHER CHOP WAS VERY BAD!!!! Glad I only tasted a little piece of it. Mind you I live in Bryan, Tx almost 2 hours from Sugar Land, Tx. Oh I forgot about the desert I asked her if the Banana Fosters Bread Pudding had nuts in because of my allergies she responded with again (Let me see). She come back and said no, my friend and I ordered that for dessert.....this child came to give us our tickets, we asked for our desserts and she replied OH WE ARE OUT OF THAT I SAID WELL ILL BE DAMN!!!!. After an hour they seated us on the rooftop for a table of five and there was seven of us. We decided to sit inside and had to wait one hour before ordering. Perhaps my expectations were too high??.. First time dining and we had a 7:15pm reservation for Valentines Day. Immediately we noticed some tables had flowers and table lights and others did not. We would be seated at the other table next to a dirty table containing leftover dishes, utensils and glasses from the previous patrons. It took three people to clean the dirty two top table. Sat for about 20 minutes before anyone brought water to our table. Another 10 minutes before our actual waiter introduced himself. He did not explain how ordering was for the night. Either order from the pre-selected Valentines menu 4 course at $75pp or order a la carte from the menu below. Well we chose the preselected menu and watched the table next to us get lambchops...nowhere on the menu we were given. Would have been nice to know their main menu was available to order from as well. We both ordered the salad an an appetizer to start. Another 15-20 minutes go by. Im thinking are they growing the lettuce in the back? At this point I go back to the front to ask the hostess if someone can bring us a salad or something weve been sitting for almost 40-50 minutes and have not gotten any food to our table yet. Yet other tables seated after us had food on them. Hostess did not seem very concerned told me she would send a manager to the table after she seated the current guests. As luck would have it when I got back to the table our appetizers had arrived but no salad still. I dont know if the manager was ever asked to come to our table or he/she chose not to once they saw food was there. Either way when a guest has a complaint you as a manager need to go and address it immediately. The food was pretty good. I could have done without picking shards of crab shells out of my mouth from the crab/corn soup but it had a good favor. The snapper was good as well and the banana bread dessert was delightful. Unfortunately for us a 20% gratuity was already included in the check so there was no way to rate their service so to them the service was perfect because a 20% gratuity was left. This should not be included and we should be able to give what we think is a fair tip for the service we received. Plus an automatic gratuity does not give the server any incentive to provide great customer service knowing that a 20% tip guaranteed. As we were about to leave we noticed a step and repeat and decided to take a picture. We asked the hostess if she wouldnt mind taking one and she said she would have to go find somebody to take the picture. Mind you we were the only people at the front of the restaurant at the time and it would not have inconvenienced her or any other patrons. Instead she left the station to go find someone and never returned. We ended up taking our own selfies and pictures. It was as if she was too good to take pictures. This was my first time dining at this establishment and it most likely will be my last. I passed many restaurants on the way to go to this location and the service was not up to par. They need a lot of work!! My advice is if you plan to go have a snack beforehand because you will be sitting at least 50 minutes to an hour before you get food on your table and thats when it is not even a packed house.

So my boyfriend took me here last night for Valentines. The atmosphere was nice, the lighting and how the bar looked great. The seating is a bit tight but it s a small establishment so it s understandable. But you do sit pretttty close to others if it s just a party of two. Our waitress was very nice. They had a menu already set for valentines but it looked like their regular menu but re arrange to make you do a 4 course for 75bucks Now I drank water but my boyfriend asked for sweet tea, which they mentioned does NOT give free refills. He had some spring rolls which only came in twos I had the crab and corn soup It had good flavor but the crab does come with the shell on, so just fair warning. He ordered the steak with potatoes and broccoli while I got the blackened chicken pasta The steak looked fine, there was some very hard chewy parts but the flavor was good My pasta seemed ok, nothing bad about it. The bread that came with my pasta did remind me of the frozen Texas toast lol but I love that stuff so it didn t bother me. I think my favorite part was the bread pudding If anything, that saved the experience for us. When we got the bill, we did see gratuity already added which surprised us cause it was just us two. But we figured it was cause it was valentines, but reading the reviews I guess they automatically do it. JUST BEWARE to check your check. Cause they still have a spot for additional tip, you may end up tipping twice which it would not be worth it. We did walk outside and the lighting was beautiful I did see the seating outside looked like regular plastic seats so that may not be the more comfortable chair for dinner if you think of eating outdoors. I selected this establishment to celebrate my birthday, and I surely regret the decision. For starters, the spinach dip was burnt; the initial and the remake. The stuffed wings with dirty rice was not stuffed at all; the meat was replaced with the dirty rice. The land and sea is overpriced to include mediocre prepared lamb chops and lobster, and a pile of bland mashed potatoes and cold broccoli. The shrimp and Grits lacked the southern flavour listed on the menu. Lets not forget the hidden fees tied to utilizing a credit card for payment; there was no signage posted stating that 3% will be added to your bill when submitting payment via credit card. The manager lacks professionalism, manners, morals, and value; which was visible in his lackluster actions and mindless behavior. The hostess wasn t in the front and nobody greeted me even though there was an employee sitting at the bar who saw me walk in whom I later found out was the manager! We had an early reservation 5:30pm ( they opened at 5pm) we had a comedy show afterwards. The food was delicious, nice sized portions our server RJ was great, knowledgeable and speedy. My only complaint would be of the restrooms, the cleanliness could have been better and cocktail napkins were provided to dry my hands (quirks that bothered me). The location is nice / evening patio is beautiful. It gave a generic upscale feel (if that makes sense). Like entry/ bar area gave Eddie V s but bathroom and tableware Casa Ole lol. Never offered to get us new coffee but left us with two cold cups of coffee. Next we had a SIMPLE order of two plates of chicken and waffles. We waited 30 minutes to get chicken and French toast without syrup. After it arrived we stated we ordered chicken and WAFFLES and he once again argued saying that we didn t. The remaining party except for 1 person arrived between 7:45pm-8:00pm. We were seated at approximately 8:20pm. The tables were separated, as if we were 2 separate parties. The manager, Dorshia, stated they could not put our tables together and we would still be charged gratuity (charge for a party of 9), despite being seated at 2 different tables and not as 1 party. Yet, there was a dinner party for a couple that recently got married. They were seated at 1 table. At approximately 9:00pm, a waiter finally came over, he didn t introduce himself, ask if we needed anything, take drink or appetizers orders. He just placed the water on the table and left. Shortly after, Ryan, the most professional individual in the entire restaurant, came over and put our tables together. He volunteered to be our waiter for the night. He immediately took our appetizer, drink, and entree orders. He apologized for the inconvenience. It was an hour later when the appetizers came out. Then the food shortly after. Despite, requesting to speak to the manager several times, regarding the lack of service. Dorshia never came to address any concerns that we were addressing (i.e., guests not receiving drinks at all from the bar, time it took for the 1st waiter to acknowledge the table, time it took to receive our appetizers, drinks, food and the smell of bleach (toxic chemical). At approximately 10:45pm, Dorshia sends another manager, Dee, to our table to assist us. He was oblivious to the issues. We had to walk up to the bar area and locate her (Dorshia) to speak to her. She had her back to us and was at the cash register, and never turned around to acknowledge the paying patrons. She kept her back turned and stated I m the event manager. I m working an event, and she needs to attend to them. That s why she sent Dee. He s the floor manager and he deal with floor issues. Dee was rude and unprofessional as well. Overall, it was 11:30pm when we finally exited this amateur, unprofessional building. Our tickets still weren t correct, they were charging a non-cash transaction fee automatically, despite some using cash. It was an issue trying to get it removed.

I recently went to this establishment and by far this was the worst experience ever.. Reservation was at 8 we were seated at 820 we had a party of 12 We were seated at 2 seperate tables. We didn t get drinks till after 9 for some of us and some of us never got out Drinks.. The manager came over and told us she would have someone come a put our tables together no one ever came .. We didn t get our food for 2 hours and when we spoke to a different manager was told they had a larger party there as well! It just was a terrible experience I will a never step foot back in this place ever again. My daughter had a reservation for this Friday definitely cancelling this.. if you can help it Stay away not worth it at all!!

The Host /manager Dorshia, and Manager Dee are the worst manager in the world. They are not organized an they want to charge non cash charge to your order. First of all, we had party of 12 and we waited for 2 hours before we got our drinks and food. The manager Dorshia did not want to put the table together for and the plates, cups and silverware was not clean. The water taste like it came straight from the faucet. I will advise you not to eat from this place. The only thing that was great was our waiter Ryan, he did excellent job waiting on us.

To start we where a party of 12 with reservations for 8pm. We where seated at 8:20pm, got our drinks at 9:30pm and our food at 10:11pm. The manager Dornesha was of no help when we tried to talk to her about the lack of service. She was supposed to fix our tickets but when our tickets came there was nothing done. When we requested for her she sent Dee(the floor manager). Now mind you she had been dealing with us since we got there because we where a party of 12 but they had us at 2 different tables(unacceptable). We finally got an employee to put the tables together (Dornesha was supposed to send someone over to do that....never did). One of our party members tried to speak with her about the lack of service, she wasnt listening just giving excuses about another private party taking up the staff(but mind you we had reservations so she knew we where coming AND she claimed to be the events manager AFTER we all started complaining because it took 2hrs to get our food). The only thing that saved the night was our waiter Ryan, he gave excellent customer service an kept apologizing for everything but it wasnt his fault he wasnt the chef or bartender. There are some real serious issues when you either arent properly staffed or dont know how to run your business - customer service from upper management was horrible and they didnt seem to care. Then had nerve to charge for using a debit/credit card and expect us to pay the gratuity on our bill excuse me why are we going to pay a gratuity that will be split amongst other waiters/waitresses when service was horrible in the whole restaurant except Ryan he deserved his tips. An let me tell you about the Blackened Chicken Pasta, it was served hot but had penne and elbow noodles ....yes penne and elbow noodles(see pictures attached). Hell after 2hrs of waiting for our food, I was starving, the pasta was good I guess the combo of penne and elbow noodles hit differently .

I went to this restaurant with a group of friends and my sister. We were ALL excited about meeting there, although no one in the party had eaten there before. The outside appearance and interior setting looked great.However, that was far from what the experience was like. The experience was HORRIBLE. When the waiter brought the food to the table, it was cold, the meat was hard and dry. The manager treated our party HORRIBLY. When we asked about making the experience better, he walked off. After about 15 minutes of him not returning to resolve the issue, we asked a couple of waiters to please tell him to assist us. Still, we waited about 10 more minutes. He finally came back to the table with our bill. The bill balance was not correct. They even charged us for paying with our credit card.While we were trying to resolve our issue, there were other customer issues at other tables. One party at a table had their food returned to the kitchen. Another table had an issue with their bill. None of us from my party will NEVER go back to THE ROOF. Where do I begin? This was a very disappointing experience for myself and 3 other friends. I ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken breast was very hard and dry. The waffles were burnt and cold. We asked for a manager after several complaints amongst the 4 of us. DD was the MOD and he wasn t apologetic at all. He was only willing to deduct 15% from the bill and we all declined. After several trips to the back to call the owner he finally settled the bill with only the items that was worth eating which was eggs and grits. Also 18% gratuity per person.

Had my bday dinner at this restaurant on 9/22. Spoke with two managers leading up to my bday dinner. Spoke with Damien and lady by phone and email. They assured they will have enough staff for the 20 guest. That s was wrong they did not have enough staff to take care of my guest. They told me to make sure my party arrived before 7:15pm so we could all be seated and the 3 servers will be able to take care of our orders. My guest was on time but unfortunately we only had 2 waiters one including Damien the mgr. They let my guest order food/drinks before giving me the chance to order my food. It was very unorganized, unclean glasses, silver ware and etc. The food/drinks took 1hr and 30 minutes to come out. My guest food was cold, drinks was not what they expected at all and someone got sick from eating the steak and pasta. To have the mandatory tip on the receipt knowing that we wasn t given the service we deserved was absured. Stayed behind to speak with Damien asking for mgr about my dinner and what went wrong. He said someone would contact me that never happened even tried to email him got no response. This is not how you deal with customers that paid for the service we didn t receive. Me or my 20 guest will not return to this restaurant. Save your time and money. Go to a restaurant that will take care of there customers making sure you have the best experience!

Lets start....When we walk out of elevator we we r greeted by 2 chairs that should be on the front porch of Sanford and Son. We enter and are greated by a hostess thats looks us up and down and says do yalls got reservations we said no we live in the neighborhood and wanted to have a drink. She said oh, well yall can sit at the bar or outside and promptly walked away. We sat at the bar, the bar stools are literally about to fall apart and the bar top is greasy with a unique film. We look at a drink menu that could use some 409 just so one can hold onto it. We order a simple drink and we opted to go outside. Outside they were playing 90s rap which we enjoy. We sat at a table that had a festive table cloth. When I sat my drink down and leaned ever so slightly on the table the wood flexed so much I nearly spilled my drink. We laughed and treated the table nicely there-after. We were chuckling so much at the people watching and the experience, I had to use the RR. I nearly slipped on the floor in the main dining area as it is so greasy again that unique film on top. Upon entering the RR u are greeted by many completely dead plants, unclean stalls, and the frangance of urine and those scented pop up RR gels, like my mom used to have when i was a child. They did have diluted hand soap, but I found the cocktail napkins they have available to dry ur hands leave a lot of paper debris behind which takes a minute to remove. We got one more drink as we are thoroughly entertained! On our way out we encounter a man in a wife beater T, shorts, and flip flops sitting on the sofa, standing next to him is a young woman. This young lady was in a neon Yellow bathing suit, its 9p, covered by a barely there string cover up. What I failed to notice and my wife pointed out as we left was she had not shaven her nether regions in quite some time... We laughed all the way home. Anyhow it was an experience!!! Thats what life is about. We may go back and bring some friends just for the memories. This place with proper management and a slight investment could be incredible. People seemed to enjoy the food, the location is unbeatable, the views are great...unfortunately at this point it is simply a life experience.

We had reservations at 5pm with 12 people. We were there for a birthday celebration, on time, and was told we had to wait for all to arrive. Then gave us a table for 6 with 8 waiting to be seated. They put tables together just for 8 when 2 others showed. We had 6 glasses for water, not enough silverware, dirty dishes on the table, dirty napkins. Our drinks were terrible (sugar) on our Margaritas, it took forever to get our food. The host was not friendly at all or accommodating. Terrible place, I would never recommend or will return.

In my opinion this place is pretty nasty. Just felt dirty when we walked in and where we were seated, the tables/chairs were really old. Like 70s old. Felt like we were sitting on cheap furniture bought at a garage sale. Also everything moves! We were in a booth and the table and bench s were moving around. Again, a very cheap look and feel. The food was priced for a 4-5 star restaurant and in my opinion this place is maybe, and I m being generous, a 1-2 star at best. Ordered an overpriced small salad and it came out with wilted lettuce and was missing items listed on the menu. Lamb chops were overcooked but I was actually okay with that given how bad of a vibe I was getting on the cleanliness side. Very overpriced. Service wasn t good. Employees just seemed like they should not be in a job that deals with customer service. Definitely will not be going back.

The atmosphere is amazing, however, the service is awful. Made a reservation for 715pm, arrived early. We decided to sit at the bar, get drinks to wait for a table, upon receiving our drinks decided to go out on the patio. We were not greeted with water or menus. At 715pm, we went in to inquire and the manager Dee made several excuses as to why this occurred, instead of apologizing and trying to make it right. We will NOT go back to that establishment.

When we arrived there s no host and we had a reservation , waited 20 min to be seated and another 20 to get waited (with only 4 other parties in the entire restaurant). They only had 2 people working and one of them was the bartender. (Why open if you re going to provide poor service and low food quality) I was served with a dirty plate and drink cup with lipstick on it . Twice I had to ask for clean dinnerware. My plate had some type of fur / dust on it and my water cup had a full lip stain of lipgloss I ordered the catfish etouffe fried hard and the fish was NOT catfish and extremely soft I also ordered a lemon drop and had to send it back because there was no sugar room which wouldnve usually mattered except it was one of the worst lemon drops I ve ever had.

I asked for the manager now all of a sudden he s the manager but ok. I asked him so complained about my food why is it still on the check and how come you took off $6 and it should be $12 he tried to argue at first I guess he changed his mind he finally did right came back speed walking just zooming by back & forth basically throwing the check at me when he came back to get payment I asked him is he ok I let him know how unprofessional he is and couldn t even simply apologize I let him know we won t be back and I ll be sure to leave a review because how dear you. The owners have tried to make an upscale hot spot, but Ive got to think its designed around the outside patio overlooking the lake. Inside, it wasnt nearly as good. You can tell that they wanted to make everything really nice. And they did. They just havent kept up with the maintenance, and now it seems run down. The walls are banged up and the paint is flaking off, the seats are too close together and arranged such thar youre almost staring into the eyes of another table, and the bathrooms are generally clean, but in a quick fashion, so that the many recesses of the fancy faucet are turning green and black and the fancy no-touch soap dispenser isnt working, so theyve got a pump bottle filling in. And I know were in a hot summer, but the AC cant keep up. I really dislike sweating into my food. The same spirit is in the service. Slow, intermittent attention, pacing is messed up (we received our appetizer about 90 seconds before our main course), and getting a refill is an act of congress. To their credit, they have obviously built a following because they were pretty full. Maybe theyre remembering better days and have a relationship with the management because the last element - the food - is pretty middle of the road. Nothing bad, mind you, but nothing worth going out of your way for. The portions, however, are huge! Its like an apology that they know the food is average because that is all they can make happen with their current chef, but at least you wont go away hungry. Unfortunately, when you add in the prices from a much better restaurant, the overall effect is a miss.

I wish I looked at the reviews and ratings first. I took my husband yesterday for his birthday and it was a beautiful space, The ambiance is very nice, the staff is wonderful and helpful. Now to the food, terrible. My grits plate was good but says shrimp and crab but it s a small crab cake in the center. The boudin balls were awful and my husbands $50 Captians Dinner was HORRIBLE! The rice was burnt and he had 4 shrimp and a small lobster tail oh and asparagus that was mediocre. We told them and they brought fresh rice but it was too late. Now, for he and myself it was a $29 gratuity fee automatically plus $3 extra per drink cause I requested Tito s vodka. Plus a $5 non cash fee wth?? I felt soooo bad for choosing this place but had been wanting to try it out. I ll never return! We ended the night at Scott Gurtners and that made up the horrible experience.

We made my order and at the time of trying it we realized that it was spicy and instantly one of our friends wanted to talk to the manager to see what we could do to solve the problem, because she could not eat something spicy and the manager was the worst of the service, she was very rude and threatened to call the police (which if they arrived) with a racist tone of voice because They didnt want to solve anything and forced us to pay the full bill for a meal that WE DIDNT EAT. I had the lamb chops which I thought at $48 was pricey but they were cooked to perfection and it was a good size portion. The shrimp pasta was said to be very good by one in our party. We watched with wide eyes and mouths open the whole red snapper being served at another table along with the stuffed wings. When we asked our server for recommendations, he warned that the red snapper was for a HUNGRY person. The live music ministry as good but a little loud for dinner. I definitely would enjoy a repeat visit sitting at the bar with libation and appetizers. I went for my first time for my neighbors 60th Bday dinner three weeks ago. The food was delicious! The atmosphere is nice, but the service was bad. I had to ask for water and lemons from one waiter three different times and didnt receive it. Finally, someone else at the table asked for some water, and we finally received some. No bread was served. We werent checked on. To top it off, they forgot to bring out my neighbors bday cake. Which resulted in her forgetting and leaving her cake. So we didnt get to sing to her. I attended a dinner party here and was very disappointed in the entire experience. They require a reservation, and still didn t sit the party together. Half of the guest did not receive food or drinks. Now It s a very nice place but it seems as though they are losing momentum.Beautiful lighting chandeliers over the tables but half the light bulbs are burnt out. How are we expecting to read the menu? We had to move tables because, water was dripping from the ceiling. But what I absolutely couldn t take, was the fact that there was no tissue, or paper towels in the restroom. I ordered the Catfish Etouffee, but I didn t eat it at the restaurant due, to being turned off about the service. When I did eat my food the next day, it was really good. This was my second time going to the place. I will never return. The service is horrible. The wait time for your food is horrible. They have STEAK48 prices with Walmart s customer service. Every person in that place needs to take a customer service training class. They are unfriendly and rude. I try to support black owned business but black owned business need to put some time in training and teaching their employees customer service. I don t mind paying high prices if I am given great service. This place will not thrive it they don t work on how their paying customers are treated.

So on entry I was like oh this gone be good. Then it just went um weird slow for amount of folks in the place maybe max 5 tables. 1. 20min to take order how you over cook mozzarella sticks. 2. Then the power goes out and no one on staff says anything until we ask about it 15min into power outage. At which time we were ready to leave. 3. Oh your food is ready guess hey we can cook in dark by cell. I mean Ive grilled steak in Alaska in January so why not. 4. Mac and Cheese $10 for kraft thrown under broiler guess some of the food had to be hot. 5. How u gone not tell me half my order aint coming until I ask where it is. 6. On the menu it says not responsible for lamb or steaks cooked over I think medium I can see that since I asked for rare to med rare and got close to well. 7. Shrimp and asparagus were 8. Did I mention there were no water refills not even thought about, nor were there any drink refills so I choked down the above meal after 1 1/2 hrs. I missed lunch and only had watermelon, pineapple, and cantaloupe for breakfast at 9am. 9. Lights flicker then large pop power out again, I just walked out. They get a 2 because my daughter said it was good last time she went thats why we went. Maybe the series of events led to the food quality problem but it does not excuse the service. Stuff was so crazy I didnt even take pictures like I normally would of.

I went to the bar and ordered a Makers neat and a Makers on the rocks. The bartender(Cece) poured them up. The people I were with decided to go to Gridiron, so I closed out my tab, and then she said $32. I thought it was kinda high, but whatever, it was my friends birthday. I was in a great mood, and Cece was not, so I rounded my tab up to $40. Then, when I looked at my bill under the light, I saw that a 20% gratuity was already included. I always tip, but what I cant stand is to be told what to tip. Had I taken the time to see that gratuity, thats all you wouldve received. So enjoy the $13 and change pitty tip on the $26 and change tab. None of us (group of 16) will ever be back.

The Roof has been on my list for a long time, so I took my sister for her birthday and I seriously regret it. It was the worst $127 Ive ever spent! In full disclosure, we went late in the evening and they were out of several food items. The waiter was rude towards my sister, but she checked him quickly and he lightened up. Our food came out about 10 minutes after a couple that arrived after us and it was not as described. The ambiance was okay. I always tip, but they automatically added gratuity to the check for a party of two??? This was an awful experience and Im never going back.

If I could give a 0 I would I decided to take my best friend here for her birthday and plus I was craving to eat greens they took forever with our food they didn t bring us silverware I got up and had to get it myself they never brung us our appetizers their excuse was the boudin balls didn t come out right so I just took it off your bill like how do you know I didn t want you to make more you just made the choice for me, the overall service took forever my chicken wasn t seasoned mac and cheese tasted like it had dish soap definitely didn t eat it greens might have been old never again it was suppose to be a lovely night and it definitely wasn t !

I visited this restaurant with a few other ladies for a dinner before an event. Walking into the restaurant, we complimented the decor and the set up. It is very nice loooking...Very much a vibe! We sat down and was welcomed by our waitress. Things were going extremely well. We ordered some cocktails. But they were not made properly and not that great. Some of us kept ours. Some were sent back. We ordered appetizers next. Absolutely terrible! They were sent back. We ordered our main dishes.. lobster tails were tough and over cooked. Kale had to have been just taken out of the package and drizzled with a little watered down dressing. Chicken in the salads were tough and over cooked as well. The salads were sent back. The crawfish and lobster pasta was tasteless and the lobster tail on top was tough when cut and overcooked. All of the food was sent back. When we made a complaint to the manager. He accused me of almost finishing the pasta and told us there was nothing wrong with the lobster. He pulled out his cell phone that displayed a picture of an almost empty bowl of pasta. He said it was mine and accused me of eating it. I could not believe that an establishment would do this to a customer. Completely flat out lied and accused someone of eating their food just to prevent from taking responsibility of your chefs. We were a party of professional women who clearly did not need to eat dinner, then lie about it just to get a free meal. This restaurant called the police on us, accusing us of trying to walk out in the bill, when we were standing there telling them that we will pay for the drinks we consumed and the two orders of spring rolls we had eaten. The other manager told us that they dont season their food because people may have high blood pressure. I will never return here to spend my money. A completely terrible beginning to our evening and we left hungry. By the way, after this happened, we were informed that this has happened to other people on other occasions. Dont be fooled by the ambiance! It looks great on the outside...but that is it. The only highlight was our waitress. Thats why she and the ambiance received 4 stars. Food.0 stars Management and the owner 0 Stars. Absolutely terrible. Go at your own risk!!!

THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!! Please avoid this place at all cost!!!! The absolute worst service!!! We sent everything we ordered back after 1 bite!!! We agreed to pay for the drinks we ordered and they took our food to the back scooped some out and took a pic and told us we had eaten half of our food THAT WE TOOK 1 BITE OF!!! after we told them that we would not pay for the uneaten food they called the police!! lol the police stated they have had similar situations at this establishment prior!!! My first and last time at the Roof on June 10, at a friend s birthday dinner. First encounter with a very rude and nasty bartender. Waited at the bar for quite sometime to just be totally ignored and observed her grabbing lemons and limes with her bare hands to place in/on people s drinks. Needless to say that alone turned us away. Always acknowledge your customers even when busy. I ordered shrimp and fish at 8:15 pm, yeah I m still waiting, and it s Sunday. The owners need more staff with those who can deliver prompt and courteous service. Get some friendly people at the bar who can work under pressure and engage with the customers. The bartender on duty needs a career change. My waiter was friendly but not comfortable with such a big group. This was the worst service I ve ever experienced and immediate improvement is needed!!!!

I went there on yesterday. June 7th, they had steak and chop night. I ordered the steak medium well, it was tough, and unseasoned. The mash potatoes were cold. Knats were flying everywhere and landed in my drink. It had to be remade -the drink. I had to keep a napking over the 2nd drink. I sat at the bar and the facility was fairly empty- took them 15 minutes to acknowledge me and take my order. I was very displeased with the service and food. The atmosphere looked to be decent but the experience on yesterday was horrible.

Reserved a graduation party of 30 here. Didn t appear that they were prepared to accommodate us. If I could give service less than 1 star, it would be -10. Customer service was beyond unacceptable, the food took forever to come out and when it did it was cold. Attempted to advise management and immediately before I could speak the manager seemed very irritated, as I stated my issue about the customer service and cold food I was told I don t have to come back. Before you patronize this establishment please consider else where that appreciates your business.

My husband and I visited may 31, 2023. Quite a a great atmosphere overlooking a lake view from their terrace. It was a great evening. This place is different from most others we had visited. The menu has several entrees to pick from. what i liked most was it was concise just one page with speciality drinks on Back. This helped as we normally see menus that are dozen of pages or more making making your decision difficult ( less is more !!!! ). The Wednesday special offers a rib eye or pork chop with side and salad; and quite an exceptional great value. The ambiance and decor is quite nice. The staff is super and with they provide personalized attention. We loved our waitress Payton and the friendly staff. One thing to take note of is the Food is fresh and cooked to order so it takes time so plan to Relax and enjoy your time. Overall great place and we Enjoyed the roof. Definitely going back as Its a special place.

This establishment was trash. I attended a family members graduation event 05/27/2023 with high hopes of this place based off of what I ve heard of this place. We were told to be there at 5pm. The employees were late. This included the hosts as well as cooks. We were supposed to be seated along the waterway. That didn t happen. We were supposed to have a server per each table (3 tables in our group) That didn t happen as well. We had one host who was a temp she was absolutely amazing being new she handled herself and the situation very well. The manager was completely unprofessional. He was dismissive and disrespectful to our group. He seemed agitated at taking our orders and was not handling the situation at all. At one point he left one of our tables and did not return until we had to call the attention of another server to finish their order. The manager never returned to help the new employee with our party! The drinks were watered down. Everyone ordered appetizers and entrees. But because the cooks were late to the scheduled event. All the food came out at extremely different times. Entrees were coming out before appetizers. Appetizers we showing up when people were done with their main entree. Who ever was cooking in the back you could clearly see we re rushing. No quality in the food. The blackened chicken pasta was disgusting. They didn t even drain the water out the pasta which was barely cooked. At the bottom of the bowl there was starchy water and because it was watery it was unseasoned. They defaulted all meats (lamb chops/steak)to be well done. A relative ordered the shrimp poboy. They cooked the shrimp with the veins and the shell still in/on them. My relative had to pick around his mouth to get rid of the shrimp shells. His plate was littered with pellets of half eaten shrimp and its shells like he was an owl regurgitating his meal. It was disgusting. Lastly, when it was time to cut the cake they brought dirty dishes that had previous icing from another groups cake on them. They didn t even assist in cutting the cake. This establishment is pure garbage and needs to be shut down along with that rude, unprofessional, egotistical manager . If you don t like your job then quit Walmart is always hiring for door greeters.

Came here for live music on Thursday. Lovely. The saxophonist DID HIS THING! Very talented. We didnt order food, only had mozzarella sticks. They were fresh out the grease, very hot. Service was exponential, our waiter was attentive, prompt, and polite. Beautiful venue inside and out. Small space so be sure to make a reservation. Parking: Parking onsite but can fill up fast in the front. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access all around
