I arranged a party for my friend at Huqqa Social, and everything was absolutely perfect, from the planning to deciding the menu. Emad is truly a gem he helped us with everything, from setting up the menu to providing us with a great party area. The service was outstanding, especially the girl Maryam who took care of us. She was amazing and provided excellent service. Thank you so much to the team at Huqqa Social for making the day memorable for my friend and all of us!

Last night we visited Huqqa for their Mandi buffet with our friends. Although the food was decent but the rest of our experience was horrendous. Hala, our server, conned us into having Dubai Chocolate giving us the impression that it was on the house . She served 3 desserts for 5 of us saying share this and enjoy not at anytime did she mention that this was going to be charged . At the time of paying the bill we saw that there was a charge of $45 for the dessert. We called the manager who said he would take the charge out however it would hurt his wallet and left the choice on us. We let the charge through but was not happy the way the matter was handled. We felt cheated and preyed upon our empathy to solve the issue. I never write bad reviews about any restaurant because I have also worked in one, however I felt this needed to be told. We are not going back to this restaurant anymore. Another thing we noticed was that understandably this is a Huqqa bar establishment but should our server be vaping too in plain sight!

Disappointing Service Experience My recent visit to Huqqa Social left much to be desired, primarily due to the frustratingly long wait times for service. The menu offered a delightful array of dishes, each prepared with care and bursting with flavor. From appetizers to main courses, everything was spot-on in terms of taste and presentation. In terms of ambiance, Huqqa Social maintains a pleasant setting. The decor is tasteful, and the seating arrangements cater well to both intimate groups and larger gatherings, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying a hookah session. Yet, these positives are overshadowed by the service issues. Considering the prices charged and the additional 18% convenience fee, one would expect a higher standard of service. The staff appeared overwhelmed and understaffed, resulting in a frustrating experience that detracted from an otherwise enjoyable evening. I visited Huqqa Social on July 13, 2024, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The hookah, which cost $20, burned out very quickly, which was quite disappointing given the price. Additionally, the waiter took the liberty of inputting his own tip without giving me the option to choose it myself. This lack of transparency and control over the tipping process left a bad impression. Overall, I expected a better experience for the price I paid.

Stumbled across this hidden find in Sugar Land today. HUQQA Social is an Arabian restaurant and Hookah lounge (hinge the name HUQQA). They offer a wide variety of food, drink (non alcoholic) and hookah. We were instantly greeted and seated by our waiter Jad (he is a sweetheart), gave us great recommendations. For mocktail I had the Indian Summer, a refreshing and mildly sweet drink. We decided to go straight for an entree, so we ordered the Mixed Platter with Chicken Tawook and spicy fried shrimp, the platter also had a side salad, rice, pickled beets, and spicy pickled red cabbage, two side garnishes. It was really delicious and great for clean eating. For dessert we had a pistachio chocolate cake, yummy . I ll definitely come back to experience more of the vibes for lounging Visitor tip, they offer a food and dessert buffet on Wednesdays at 7:00, happy hour from 4-6 M-F.
