Food quality is inconsistent. Portions are good and price si good. But biryani sometimes is good and sometimes its like dripping in oil. Tikkas are mostly burnt. Today I requested them to do the tikkas well done but dont turn it black and yet it is mostly burnt.

This will be our first and last time dining at Shahi Darbar. The chicken tikka masala and the paneer makhani had a couple of pieces of chicken and paneer swimming in tomato sauce. It seemed as if they were serving the sauce first and then the chicken and paneer. On top of that they started cleaning with Fabuloso even as we were eating. Also, had flies all over the place. Mediocre service, poor food, and disgusting ambiance.

Great place to visit. People are very friendly and food taste great. Only thing is I expected the portions of certain things to be more. Also with how it looks, it looks like it is closed all the time. Still, try the food out. Update: generally the same. A bit slower, but because it is a bit more busy also their service has gotten TERRIBLE if you order by phone. NEVER TRUST Update 2: generally same as initial. Customers service gotten worse. Did custom order (thus paid more) and they did nothing thus wasted money. Still never trust. Look as soon if you get. Update 3: Yet again they didnt take order right. I will NEVER TRUST THEM. I only come because told to. If possible, Id never come again.

Very upset with the service and attitude. They messed up the DoorDash order didn t give half the order to the DoorDash delivery person and when I called to enquire they said they gave everything on the order and didn t even want to talk to me or the delivery person and wanted me to deal with DoorDash and hung up. When I called back they didn t pickup. Horrible customer service and just don t care if the current t order was delivered to the customer.

Let me say that Ive had this place many times in the past and it was a decent 4/5 stars but today after several months, if I could I would give it 0 stars. Not only was the food terrible but they charged me an extra $5 because I ordered online! The person of the front said oh just call us instead of ordering online next time...that shouldnt be my problem that your online system secretly adds $5! I had a simple order of masala fries, pakoda and chicken bihari roll... absolutely failed at all items. The masala fries? NO MASALA! The pakoda? Super dry and no flavor! The bihari roll? So spicy you couldnt taste what you were eating! Please, fire the cook immediately. Writing this place off my list!

Order $14 worth of food through their website. Ordering page only showed $14 and no where a service fee was mentioned. Credit card bill showed $19 charged so was charged $5 fee on a $14 order. Brought it up to the restaurant and their response was it s not our ordering system and we contract out. Honestly the response and customer service was very poor. This whole system seems very shady and is breaking couple of laws: 1. False advertising: Advertised $14 on their website and got charged $19 2. Exhortbitant online processing fees: got charged $5 processing fee on $14 order (35% fee) which is also illegal. Restaurant refused to take any ownership of order placed through their own website and instead put the blame on me. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEIR WEBSITE SO YOU DONT GET SCAMMED 35% processing fee.

Founded Shahi Darbar, We Started with Chicken Behari with Tandoori Roti and Rumali Roti and later we ordered Chicken Biryani. Behari was ok but Rumali roti was made with wheat and tandoori roti made with maida, I don t know how the chef made it, any way we compromised and started , but the biryani was horrible, the Bowl was Fully with chicken and masala only less rice, they gave us 6 Big chicken pieces in Regular Pack biryani I was shocked . Horrible place! Never eat here! We were seated around 1 pm, and the waitress came 15 minutes later, despite the fact that no one was dining but myself and my friends. 30 minutes later, our APPETIZERS came in, we ordered wings and fries, the fries were cold and stale, with little to no seasoning, and the menu advertised 6 wings, but she (originally) gave us 5. The wings were NOT seasoned, and the sauce came on the side. I thought the wings were going to be sauced. It took about an hour for the food to come out. Rice does NOT come included with the plates, you have to pay $5-6 extra for a side of rice. I had never paid for rice before, every other paki-indian cuisine restaurant comes with complimentary rice. Also, the tables and seats were dirty, and the AC was NOT working.

If anyone wants to end up with a cardiac problems, feel free to eat food from this joint. After a long time, I ventured there to purchase a few items for reasons I regret now but will never do so ever again! I bought nihari, haleem. Afghanistan chkn etc. All these items were worth dumping in the garbage: I have never seen haleem this thick and sticky! So were the rest of the saalans which were made to fill the containers by hardly any nest but a lot of sticky flour and water slur that was obviously used to make it sticky and fill the gap where nest should have been. So, people if you want sticky flour and tons of red pepper to make you sweat on your head and between your legs and kill your taste buds, this is definitely your place! If you care for your health and consequences of eating unhygienic and garbage like meals m then feel free to throw your money there and look forward to sending in ER sooner or later!! Just an honest advice!! Take it or leave it is up to you!!!

The owner is not very bright I used to like this place went there tonite after driving 30min and was told no service only takeout because of their $5 specials and wait for takeout is 2 hours. This guy did not plan this well. Why run a special when you cannot manage it properly. Instead of feeling sorry for my inconvenience the owner acts cocky with me. Never returning again and Iam telling everybody not to go here. He lost my business today.

If I can give this place zero star even that will be too much, ordered chicken biryani which was really bad I won t think they even bother to wash the chicken before cooking it. Peshawari karahi was not even it, it was chicken salan only good thing was naan and sweet lassi. If they make this kind of food I don t think they will last in todays market. Still wish them all the best but I will definitely not return or recommend anyone.

Looks under construction with yellow tape around the building Editing in response to the owners response: people should not have to call you to confirm the hours indicated as open in google maps are actually right. Mark your restaurant as temporarily closed in google

My order was ready and she just collect the money without giving order helped the other person who was after me ! And when she was returning the money just dropped all my coins . I don t like her attitude. She act that no idea why. I do not like their service if you don t happy to work please don t continue work and let owner loose the patient there are bunch of people willing to work.
