We ve been wanting to try this place for a while now since we love dumpling and ramen. The place disappointed us as food had no taste at all. Presentation of the food is good but it s tasteless. Vibe of the place is nice and clearness was appreciated however, I would not recommend it this place to anyone.

Dough Zone impressed us with their excellent food and even better customer service. We tried a variety of dishes, including the soup dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, cool cucumber salad, and spicy beef sandwich. While one of our orders took a bit longer to arrive, the staff immediately addressed it without us having to ask and comped the dish. Their dedication to customer satisfaction really stood out. Everything we tried was really good, and we highly recommend giving them a shot if youre in the area!

I really liked the sweet sour wontons. The dan dan mian was heavy on the mala spice and I am not a fan of it. The noodle texture was good though. The onion pancake with meat and greens had good texture but was a bit messy and had an odd minty flavor. The pork baozi was soooo good tho.

They have good vegan options here. I love their cucumber appetizer and the pan fried vegetable dumplings. Their hot and sour glass noodles are very good too and vegan friendly.

Was craving dumplings and was recommended by a friend. Dumplings for days. The beef sandwich was a good non-dumpling item, packed with slices of beef. We ordered the Chicken Xiao Long Bao & Beef potstickers. The Chicken Xiao Long Bao was fantastic, very soupy and meaty, couldnt get enough. Beef potstickers ended up being my favorite though, fried just right and had a good hearty flavor. Would come back again when Im feeling dumplings and not wanting to drive too far out.

Pork Xiao Long Bao 5/5 Would order again Dan Dan Noodle 4.5/5 Small portion Yibin Noodle 4/5 Taste almost like Dan Dan Spicy Beef Pancake Roll 3/5 Did not expect the red-looking beef slices Pan Fried Chives Dumplings 2/5 Super oily (more like deep fried) and the fillings were salty too we did not enjoy them at all Chicken and Vegetables Wontons in Chili Sauce 3/5 Skin was too thick for wontons, nothing memorable about this There were way more waiters than customers maybe because it was late lunch hour.. despite so the wait time for food feels longer than expected.. The waiters were all in a group chatting starring at customers.. a little awkward to have meal in this kind of setting..

Very clean place. Open kitchen is a cool touch. Lacks kid friendly options. Wait staff was prompt and courteous. The food came incredibly quickly and was freshly prepared. The pork Xiao Long Bao was the most delicious. The dumplings were very very fresh. Great place to friendly staff. Great experience Kid-friendliness: They do not serve child beverages. Only water. No kids menu.

We went here for lunch. The place was surprisingly large. They have bamboo steamers as part of their wall decor. They had so many choices on their menu that I wanted to try so we ordered a lot. They provided ginger in a small plate. On the table, there is vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil tat you can mix with the ginger. We liked the sweet and sour cucumber, pork and shrimp potstickers, fried wontons with chili sauce, and banana naan bread. The beef in their spicy beef pancake roll was interesting. The jianbing Guo zi crisps were bland. We liked their Thai tea. We will definitely come back to try their other menu items.

I am always looking for the best soup dumplings but unfortunately this isn t it. The decor was nice and service was okay. We ordered the pork pan fried dumplings, chicken soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, Jiangbing, and hot and sour glass noodles. All the food was just okay and felt premade and heated up rather than homemade and fresh.

I had a fantastic dining experience at DoughZone thanks to Vivan, who provided exceptional service throughout our meal. Her friendly demeanor made us feel welcome. Vivian offered great recommendations. The food itself was absolutely delicious. The kitchen clearly pays attention to detail, and it reflects in the quality of their dishes. I enjoyed eating the Q-baos and the soup douplings. But, be careful the Q- báo are extremely hot when they first come out. Overall, I highly recommend DoughZone for both the excellent service and the outstanding food.

Went in to dine-in around 9 and they said they were closed for dine-in even though they close at 10 and even when I first walked in, they asked how many people I had with me. My kids were starving so we had to eat in the car. Also when our order was ready instead of them handing it to us, we had to help ourselves and grab it ourselves because they were too worried about closing up.

This was a fun stop for us. We got a nice sampling of their dishes and they were all pretty good. The bao filling was kind of disappointing. The filling was a small pick and didn t really hold up to expectations. The service was great and selection was plenty. The only downside we had was the noise level. It was very loud in there. We will definetly go back and do it again.

First time trying dough zone and not that impressed by the food quality. Water was served with no ice. The Q-bao pan fried was a light toast on the bottom and barely crispy. The xiao long bao soup dumplings were okay but didn t have a homemade feeling and tasted like you could buy a frozen pack from the groceries for the same flavor. Noodles were good but smaller than expected and not really shareable sized. Pricing was fair though and would only come back if I had a really big dumpling craving where I didn t want to drive all the way to chinatown.

Food is great so much flavor and not pricey for being in sugar land. The service is awesome. We ve already been here twice. Second time we asked for table for 25 people and they were quickly able to accommodate which I love that kind of service!! Definitely everything is so good but my most fave dish I would have to say is the Q baos!! We will definitely be coming here more often.

I recently dined at DoughZone Resto with my family, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food here is far from ordinary dumplings; each dish is crafted with exquisite taste and presented beautifully. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant strike the perfect balance between simplicity and elegance, making it a delightful place to enjoy a meal. What s even better is that most of the food is reasonably priced, offering excellent value for the quality and experience. We will definitely be coming back! Parking: Need add light outside for all the car thats parked

Been wanting to try the beef pancake since we saw Dough Zone in Seattle. Worth the wait! The pancake is crispy and wonderfully flaky. Note that the beef filling is more akin to finely sliced jerky since its purposely dried with a little bit of sauce. They nailed the flavor combo. So good! The beef noodle soup was also a winner. Just the perfect size with about 4 pieces of beef shank, noodles, bok choy and beefy broth. The prices are very reasonable. The place is modern with high, open ceilings and well situated seating arrangements. Service is excellent. Staff all willingly offer assistance in a friendly way, not pushy. Give it a try!

My family and I throughly enjoyed our dine in experience today. We have gone to the Post Oak location and liked this one far better. Really great food. Soup dumplings were delicious (and we have eaten in the original DinTaiFung before), well-priced. The potstickers were a favorite of my son as well. The service is impeccable. My son accidentally spilled water bc he was given an adult glass, and we didn t even complain. We just asked for a kids cup. The server and manager ended up insisting on comping the meal, which we were so shocked about, since we didn t even complain or get upset. The server almost refused the tip we tried to give, but we tried a few times and he ended up taking it. Good was fantastic, prices are very reasonable, service is above and beyond. The space is big and not crowded. Much more enjoyable of an experience than the midtown location since that one is just so crowded and hard to find parking at. We would have taken more photos but forgot bc everyone was too eager to eat.

I recently got to try the new Dough Zone that opened up in Sugar Land Town Center! Dough Zone is a dumpling/noodle chain originally from California, and they now have 3 locations throughout the Houston area, including their newest location in Sugar Land. The interior for this location is modern and beautiful, a perfect environment for a cute date spot (I love the little dumpling baskets as wall decorations!). I found most of the food the be pretty good quality and affordable as well. Here s what I ordered: - Scallion Pancake ($3.95) - these were very yummy and crispy, a classic - Pork and Shrimp Potstickers ($6.95) - so good, and the bottom crispy part was huge! - Beef Steamed Dumplings ($6.95) - these dumplings had high-quality skin and flavorful meat filling - Sweet and Sour Cucumber ($6.95) - very unique presentation - Beef Stew Noodle Soup ($7.50) - this is such a good deal! it s a clear broth beef noodle soup, and the beef is super tender -Pan Fried Chive Dumplings (3ct, $6.95) - These were a bit too oily for my taste but still tasted good! - Pork Xiao Long Bao (8ct, $8.95) - Overall these were probably my least favorite item I tried. The soup inside the soup dumplings was a bit lukewarm.

A great addition to the Sugar Land food scene! We were seated quickly and were given a sheet of paper to write our order on. We got the pork soup dumplings and the beef pancake roll, both of which were delicious. The portion sizes here are small, but the prices reflect that fact. The soup dumplings were served at a great temperature, warm but not too hot to burn your mouth with. They were tasty and affordable, but I would recommend ordering more than you would think you would eat. The beef pancake roll was delicious, especially the pancake part of it. The beef was also prepared excellently. This restaurant is brand new and Im sure I will return to try more things off their menu.

New Chinese cuisine in the heart of Sugar Land Town Center area. Specialize in soup dumplings and bread (Bao) We really liked the variety and price point. For a family of 4 ordering like 5-6 dishes, it came out to be about $50ish and that s with drinks.

I have been a big fan of ding tai fung for years and kept hoping Houston would get one. However, Dough Zone popped up on my social media feeds as opening a new location in Sugar Land only minutes from my house. We recently got dumpling world and even though it was good it was no ding tai fung substitute. Now, Dough Zone might well be a value replacement! There are many items that were comparable in taste but half the cost!!! I couldn t believe how affordable some of their items were. Their soup dumplings were delicious and I believe it is $9 for 8!!! Vs DTF is $13? For 6? Also here the crab ones are the same price as the pork and shrimp! We literally ordered 47 items for our table so there are so many things to go through. But I will say the Dan Dan noodles, the beef noodle soup, and the cucumber were other standouts. We will be coming back regularly as it will fulfill our dumpling cravings as a very affordable price!

Service was great. Ill give them that. If youre hungry-hungry, Id go somewhere else. Their portions are very small. The flavor is okay but not something you cant find somewhere else for better price-to-quantity. Theres this one dumpling place about an hour away, slightly similar taste, thats absolutely delicious and serves you well. Id rather drive the hour than drive just a bit down the way to this place, to be honest. Try it out, unless youre needing something filling, then dont.

Went here the second day after its grand opening. I got the beef sandwich and pork bao buns. I was with 4 other people, they got a different assortment of foods so we could see how everything was. The wait times are very inconsistent, I understand if its made fresh but this was all over the place. The food itself was okay, not worth coming back and the service was bad, was there for over an hour and a half and we were talked to 3 times. Two by the person serving is and 1 time by the host, not once we were asked about refills and the two times we were talked to were the food being brought to the table and the check. The design inside is nice but feels more like something you pick food up at.

Came in the second day they were open. We got : 1) kale salad Very fresh and flavorful. 2) chicken soup dumplings I really enjoyed these with some additional chilli paste and sauce 3) beef pan-fried dumpling These had crispy crunch bottoms and a meatball like flavor. I enjoyed these but wish they had a little more flavor. The vinegar, soy sauce and chili paste makes up for this. Overall it is a clean modern restaurant with delicious food. I will be back to try more items. 4)spicy beef roll
