Pearl Dynasty Sugarland has a roach infestation. We came in with my family fathers day weekend and I saw a what i thought was a tiny roach fly across the table. I wasnt sure. Then, My sister killed one crawling on the floor, and another small one on the wall while we were eating. I almost died and had to walk out but didnt want ot alarm others eating. IF we saw this many during DAYTIME lunch traffic, imagine what its really like an in the kitchen. I will not be coming back ever again. The food was fine, but i could barely swallow after what i saw.

This place is a gem. The orange beef is always delicious, and I am also a fan of the sweet and sour chicken. Singapore rice noodles are awesome. Great egg rolls, but crab puffs could use more filling. I have also found that ordering full dinner portions is necessary to get the highest quality and freshest food. Get the combo dinner and your fried rice, for example, is dry with no veggies or egg or flavor. Get full dinner portions, and you have got among the best Chinese food in Greatwood. My order: orange beef, ss chk, crab puffs, egg rolls, pork fried rice, extra table mustard.

Eaten here several times for their lunch special and they are better than average Chinese food and good service, but nothing amazing. The portions are large and the prices reasonable. You can t go wrong with $10.50 lunch special that includes soup, egg roll, fried rice and entree. Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian and gluten free options Parking: Never had a problem finding a nearby parking spot. Wheelchair accessibility: Two handicapped parking space, one van accessible near front entrance.

Went there with my sister today and we both loved it! The egg drop soup was nice and delicious. The orange chicken was fantastic. The sauce was not too sweet and tasted home made. The quality of chicken was good. Their lunch specials are a good deal. The steam rice could have been better. I would definitely return. Parking: Plenty of parking.

Five stars is literally not enough. The best customer service I have had in a long time. They welcome everyone with a smile on their face. The food quality is wonderful, the prices are very reasonable. The restuarant itself is very very clean and superior to any Chinese restaurant Ive ever been to! As a bonus, they offer some gluten free options like the General Tso chicken with white rice.

The food was very delicious. This is our first time here and we will definitely be back. My husband had the dragon and phoenix dish and I had the Szechuan chicken with chicken fried rice. I added water, chestnuts and snow peas to the fried rice. I highly recommend this restaurant. It s family owned, and they ve been here for over 20 years. I just moved closer to this area. It s a hit or miss the guy that serves the food is a bit mean and rude. You should take a class on Customer Service. It s like he doesn t like anybody in his restaurant or he doesn t want to serve on anybody I mean it s a place that serves food. Be more kind to your guests don t get people men. Great food, great service, reasonable prices, and fast. A large menu selection featuring a wide range of dishes to include mains, appetizers, sides and more. Extensive drink menu. Many dishes can be made gluten free- just be sure to let them know ahead of time. Features a large and comfortable dining room as well as a separate window section. Great note was the selection of kids books to keep the littles occupied. Lunch and dinner specials about. Their menu is available online. Ample parking that is handicap accessible, as is the restaurant and bathrooms. Friendly staff- nice environment- close to the Highway and major roads. But recently, I came down with a horrible case of bronchitis and they became my No. 1 spot to get my supply of soup. Our first trip looking for elegant Chinese dining. What a disappointment. We ordered 2 eggrolls and barbecue spare ribs to try before choosing an entree. The spare ribs were inedible. So tough we could not cut them with the knife provided and absolutely no taste. We packed up and took the eggrolls with us and have not tried them yet. The atmosphere was not what I would classify as elegant and was truly a let down. The rest of the menu may be good but spare ribs are a staple of nearly every Chinese restaurant and as bad as these were, we opted to not take the chance on anything else

We had eaten here once before and food was okay. Tried to order Christmas Eve as our other favorites closed early for the holiday (to be expected). I called at 7 pm and verified their hours then called back a few minutes later to order delivery and was told they were no longer accepting orders for delivery and I asked about carry out and was hung up on. I called right back and asked for the manager and was told she would see if there was one available. The manager came to the phone and I explained the problem and he said they were behind on orders and I explained that I understood it was the holiday and the girl who answered the phone could have said they were behind on orders (manager claimed 2 hours behind on delivery orders) and thats why they were no longer accepting orders but she hung up on me instead. His excuse was that she was in training and didnt know what to say. Needless to say, we wont be going back here again - customer service is horrible and food isnt that great either.

First time to try this restaurant and first impression means everything. Well to start with the customer service I would rate a 1 or less. Employees could care less if your experience was pleasant. Waited outside after checking in for order to be prepared, when it was done no one came out or called to say it was done. So when I decided to go check on it, no one to be found. It was my own fault I forgot to mention I have a slight allergy to peanut (I am/was in denial). I only got shrimp, broccoli and chicken. While some dishes were very good, others were quite disappointing. The pork egg rolls are supermarket grade, not restaurant quality. They serve a generous portion of their special wonton soup for two. It is chock full of chicken, roast pork, shrimp and vegetables. Unfortunately, the broth is watery and nearly tasteless, and the wonton are heavy and doughy (chewy). The scant amount of filling inside each wonton could have been applied with a paintbrush. On a positive note, the pork fried rice was quite good, and the shrimp in lobster sauce was downright delicious. So all in all, Id rate my first experience with Pearl Dynasty as a mixed bag... fair to middling over all. But because the shrimp and lobster sauce was so good, I will give them another try.

We got takeout and it was quick service However, there is much to be said about the food compared to other Chinese restos in Sugarland. The rice was dry and the fried rice was basically just soaked in soy sauce. The American Lo Mein was soaked in soy sauce as well. I was hoping it would be the Cantonese lo mein shown in the picture. The lemon chicken wasnt cooked all the way and the breading was so doughy. For undiscerning people, this is the place to go. This was our first and last time buying there.

I think there are probably a number of bogus reviews of this place. Food was mediocre at best and way too much NaCl. I just hope there was zero MSG. Also, they have wine by the glass but prices are not published. We ordered two white wines and it was $25. NO GO! We tried this place several times and every time it turned out to be a major disappointment and a total rip-off. Whatever dish you order, unless it is a vegetarian dish, there is hardly any meat in it, a whole bunch of unions and some other vegetables and a tiny piece of meat in the far far distance. They even nickle and dime the vegetarian dishes by saving on the amount of mushrooms and the pork-fried-rice has never even seen a piece of pork! The last time it was really bad, even when we made them aware of our disappointing experiences earlier when ordering. My wife wanted to have a decent amount of mushrooms and bamboo shoots in her Vegetable (!) Chow Mein and they charged us an extra 4 dollar for that and it was still in there. We called the manager to talk about it but he was super offensive the moment he picked up the phone without even hearing us out what we were calling about. We try to tell hem that we just called to give him the opportunity to fix the service but he immediately continued throwing a fit. We are done with this place!

PLEASE READ .. FIRST THEY OVERCHARGE You , I am a Romina American and The Owner told Me IF you want the sauce spicy every plate is $2 extra and some place $4 extra , I Felt That was racial profiling but since I heard it was pretty good Chinese food ( It Was OK at Best ) and drove 25 miles I said that is Fine.. NOW Here Is What MADE ME DECIDE To Leave This Review.. When we order the beef skewers we do not eat 2 of Them and My Wife Oveeheard the Lady Saying put those back in the Kitchen , ShebWas Shocked / ALSO - they only give Us 3 fortune cookies and it was just me and my wife and my son, and you know kids love those little things so I asked her for a few more and she paused and told me while theres only 3 of you guys / so I replied if that Cost extra Too I will give you more Money so at that point I was pretty aggravated.. and paid my $63 overcharged Bill and left.. For two adults and one child that is overpriced I dont care what the food cost as long as the service and the food is good when it comes to Our culture We Do Not care what it Cost..I have not been there in 10 years and I will Not go back in a 100 years.. To me this is Racial profiling if and Asian person walks into restaurant I own I will not have separate separate Chinese Prices.. hope this helps you have been warned thanks for reading
