Im so disappointed with my recent dining experience! The food was disgusting - it felt like the shrimp wasnt cooked properly or had been left in the fridge for too long. To make matters worse, I had invited my friends to join me, and that night, they felt nauseous and had stomach issues. I even had to drive them to the hospital! The service was also subpar, and they will add a tip of more than 20% is uncalled for considering the issues we encountered.

I enjoyed the food here. Ordered some dimsum Chicken feet and the fried pork ribs special along with Mongolian beef. Everything tasted very well no complaints on the food. The service seemed a bit stand offish at first. As it took a while to order drinks. But the waitress was really great and kind. She listened well. Was willing to handle a request for me. I will be going back.

The food is just okay, although lots of options. However, they deserve low rating because of the service they provided. We were charged for the food or drink that we did not order at all, causing us to pay $200, instead of $70 (the correct charge). Luckily, one of our family members, re-checked the receipt and discovered the discrepancy. We brought this to the staff immediately. Although they were asking apology for their mistake, but it should not happen from the very beginning.

Shrimp Lo Mein noodles had zero taste. No flavor at all. The egg rolls were crispy on the outside, but the inside of them were mushy and not good at all! I also had the Hot and Sour soup, again no flavor. I did enjoy the orange chicken, which was really tasty.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area in my view. Dish quality is consistently high and authentic Chinese. In-restaurant and take out experience are both excellent. Dim sum and seafood dishes are excellent. The service at this restaurant is also consistently kind and professional. We enjoyed dining here.

I shouldn t stay or try any of the dishes. Smell of the restroom hit face immediately when we enter. But we were starving and finally decided to try this restaurant so we still sat down. Beef steak taste like rubber bands. Seafood porridge tastes fishy. And same dishes we ordered are totally different looking from the menu. There are flies and tiny bugs flying around while you are eating. You don t wanna looks anywhere while eating. I got a headache and left immediately.

Overall 3.5 stars. The portions are generous but all 3 of our dishes were cooked with too much salt. We ordered peapod leaves, salt and pepper pork and salted fish with chicken fried rice. They gave us lots of food, but the salty taste overwhelmed the flavor of our dishes.

Not happy with this place. when we came to the table I had to tell the waiter to remove the used plastic table cloth(they are multi layered to remove after each use). Then another waiter came by and placed the paper menu from the floor onto the table. The Hot and Sour soup had no hot flavor. The lunch plates we received had issues, they were not hot, the fried rice was not fried had scrambled egg crumbs with peas & carrots (looked like the frozen type peas & carrots) the mushrooms were shriveled up and did not taste good, the broccoli looked good but tasted soapy, brown Hunan sauce was sweet, the egg rolls were greasy. the fried overall ingredients in the plates were not as described, but either way did not taste good.

Our experiences are good overall and recommended. Just calling the restaurant can be frustrated sometimes. There were few times for few hours we tried to call to order but the phone just had busy line non stop, since we literally called non stop and was not busy time too. I think the phone had not been placed hangs up properly.

We go to jade garden often, and when it s good it s very good. But i have noticed a lot of inconsistency. Often times i will order to go and come home to either burnt, or a completely different order than i expected. We recently ordered beef and broccoli and this was what we got- which is pretty much 100% broccoli with 2 pieces of beef. CHECK your to go orders they will try to save money on their end and give you all veggies or all onion. Add: the chicken fried rice we got had no chicken in it either, but I didn t get a picture.

The food smells very good, but its a pity that the three mushroom tofu and seafood tofu pot use deep-fried firm tofu. One of the fried tofu dishes smelled of oil consumption, which is really inappropriate for a professional restaurant. In addition, it is unbelievable that the pots on the tableware are rusty and the dishes are chipped.

Worst chinese food Ive ever had. I used to live around the area a couple of years ago and used to frequent them a bit. They were pretty decent back then, I was around the area today with my family and decided on a whim to go here since we are starting. Omg, service was just subpar. It wasnt that busy and took forever to get our food out. Ordered a tea for the table and it was brought Luke warm. Asked for another tea and that took forever to come to the table. Rice looked like Mexican or Spanish rice, nor did it taste like traditional fried rice. To me the har got and Siu Mai was decent enough but they were huge. My family didnt care for them though. The shrimp ball/birds nest was way over cooked and severely dry. Ordered a fried shrimp dumpling but somehow they brought me the wrong thing and it wasnt on my ticket. Then without telling me they fixed the order and brought it out when we were already done and packed food to go. Just overall sucky. Waitresses were also on their phones and not paying attention to customers. Unfortunately they used to be good but have gone downhill. I will never come here again after my horrible experience.

I come here once or twice a month for dim sum with the family. The food is outstanding. The stir fried noodles with beef is always a great choice. The eggplant with shrimp has a generous amount of shrimp in each bite. My favorite dish is the salt and pepper tofu. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It comes with sliced jalapeños and fried garlic. For four adults and two kids, the total was less than $75.

Service was wonderful, the waiter was all smiles everytime he came by the table. Food was served at a reasonable time considering they have to steam your dim sum as you order. I grew up in a dim sum restaurant and I really was hoping for some delicious dim sum since I was visiting from MN but I would have to warn everyone I tasted nothing but MSG and the buns were very dry. The wrapper on the shrimp dumpling was on the thicker side. Decent size restaurant with a handful of big tables for larger groups. I went on a weekday so they weren t busy at all. The parking lot has handicap parking but the ramp is located at the end of the parking lot so it s a little inconvenient if someone in your party has a wheelchair.

If there was no service, I would give it two stars. The service is nothing to say. Now let s talk about the dishes, braised vegetable guts with northern mushrooms. The vegetable guts are OK, but the northern mushrooms are not fully soaked. After slicing the pork with pickled vegetables, light the fire slightly. Maoxuewangs failure is not a bad restaurant. Ordering Sichuan food in a Hong Kong-style restaurant is a bit rogue. The chicken tofu stew didnt have much flavor, and the taste was all in the gravy. The beef bones in the beef bone and eggplant stew are too chewy. The last dish of stir-fried clams with black bean sauce contained sand. The overall evaluation is three points.

My Lunar New Year Dinner was supposed to be a fantastic evening filled with conversation and good food. It was great to catch up with my family, but we will never come back again. Consumer Beware of Jade Garden - Sugarland! Quality of food- poor. The Ma Po cooked as if the sauce came out of a can poured over tofu. Service: Poor service in regards to keeping tabs at the table, providing drinks service and checking on our food. We flagged down the wait staff several times . We were told that they checking on it. We waited 30 min to get 2 out of 6 items that was ordered. 1 1/2 hours to be told that the kitchen would be starting on the rest if the meal! Observation/Problem: kitchen was understaffed in handling both in house orders and to go orders. While waiting for a food we noticed 3 tables full of to go orders ready for pick up. Obviously the priority was to make money off the to go orders and not take care of the customers that were dining in. I noticed other tables were receiving the same type of service. Food comes out super fast and tastes just as good as the best in Houston Chinatown s. This is one of those Authentic Chinese food restaurants where the workers speak mainly Chinese with limited English, a great queue that the food is legit. They also serve an American Chinese menu. Although limited, the workers speak enough English to take your order. For drinks, expect authentic Chinese drinks, like hot jasmine tea, or hot flower tea. Available are the major types of sodas: coke and sprite. Do not expect typical American drinks like strawberry iced tea, lemonade, etc. But if you really want iced tea, you could probably order a cup of ice + hot tea. (^_^)

We were at Jade Garden for lunch today. Prices in lunch menu are good. The two of us had three dishes. The stir-fried egg was tasty. The minced pork sautéed with green beans was our favorite. And the beef tendon with tofu was good for joints and cartilage. We are regular patrons!
