I dont know where to start. The HVAC system wasnt working properly, so the place had limited to no air when we visited. Our table and other tables kept asking about the heated temperature, and they kept telling us they were working on it. That was problem number one. Then, we had to ask for the promotional advertised menus that brought us to this place because they kept giving us all another menu that did not have any of the promotions on it. Our server started out as a lady, then switched to a manager, then changed again and went to a new guy. This is confusing to customers, like who is our actual server. This needs to be more defined and known instead of everyone just showing up at the table. The last guy is the only reason we stayed at this Applebees. Otherwise, we would have left and went somewhere else to dine. He was very personable and engaging. The food menu options are limited. This page is deeply in need of more vegetarian items and options in todays health climate. Also, provide and allow for substitutions to menu items since you dont have many options available for different eating types.

I drove 40 minutes to this Sugarland / The Fountains Applebees location 8/24/24 around 9 pm . An African American older gentleman started complaining to me that he only had one cook , two waitresses and the wait time would be 30-45 minutes. The restaurant was almost empty with little to no tables filled . I couldn t understand how a restaurant establishment didn t have the recommended amount of staff for a Saturday night. It has to be bad management since the weekend is highly anticipated in the food industry. Date night was ruined.

If I would been allowed to leave 0 stars I would of done it. Because this is by far the most horrible service my family and I have ever had at a restaurant. We were seated right away but we were at the table waiting for our server to even acknowledge us but never did. First time eating at this location. The place looks old and dirty. The food is flavorless. The balsamic vinegarette dressing for the salad tasted horrible. The mushroom burger has a weird tasting sauce that ruined my sons appetite. The blackened salmon was overcooked. The classic burger made my son sick. I believe our waiter was the restaurant manager. He tries to be funny but with a very dark humor. Surely, we will never go back to this Applebees.

The service was bad we had to continue to look for our waitress the food was nasty the pasta taste like it came right out of the pot of water with no seasoning. It was supposed to be three cheese macaroni. They should have called it no cheese macaroni. My husband and I recently visited the Applebees location at 12740 Southwest Fwy., Stafford, TX 77477, and we were extremely disappointed with our experience. When we arrived, the bar was relatively empty with just one other person present. Initially, everything seemed fine until I overheard a concerning interaction. A customer beside me ordered a drink and was told by the bartender that it cost $4.32. The customer paid with a $20 bill, and the bartender retrieved $15 from the tip jar for change without entering the transaction into the computer or giving the exact change. This raised immediate concerns about the integrity of the service. When we asked for our check, the bartender brought it to my husband who paid with his card. However, the receipt provided for the tip did not include the detailed breakdown of our order. Upon requesting the itemized receipt, I noticed we were incorrectly charged $10.99 for a SPIN DIP, which should have been included in our 2 FOR 30$$ meal deal. When I pointed this out, our bartender informed the manager, who instructed her to CashApp us the $10.99 instead of removing the charge from our bill; we obviously declined. I find it highly unethical and suspect that a restaurant would be unable or unwilling to correct a billing error directly. Despite the frustration, my husband still tipped the bartender $15.00 out of kindness. However, the entire experience left a sour taste in our mouths, as we felt scammed by this handling of our bill. Ultimately, I had to insist that the bartender at least prepare the SPIN DIP for us to take home, given that we had been charged for it. We remembered after this night, why we dont go to Applebees.

The other customers were rowdy and so rude. The food was WAY overpriced for the quality received. The salads tasted old and the barbecue sauce tasted old too. There was a price difference between ordering certain things online versus ordering inside. That was so annoying. We brought it up to management and they said there was nothing they could do about it. The waitress we had was clearly overwhelmed and she was sweet when she spoke to us. However, I highly doubt that we will be returning. We did the owner a favor before and they were so appreciative, I assume the people that were there didnt know who we were and showed their true colors. There booth seats are either not properly secured or just plain broken.

Went for a late dinner after 9:30pm. It was pretty quiet and getting a table was a breeze. Our wait mer was very funny and pleasant. I don t recall his name now. Bread sticks, crumbs, and uneaten food all over the floor right when you walk in of course I m not expecting the food to look just like the menu photo because obviously it s Applebees but jeez, four cheese pasta with out a cheese in sight with a brown soup for the pasta to bathe in. We decided to have dinner here because it was late and we knew Applebees was still open. It was busy but the service was pretty good and prompt. The food hit the spot since we were really hungry. The quality is everything you can expect from Applebees. The Fountains location is nice at night. After dinner, you might want to hang out a bit on the promenade, take a few photos, and enjoy the view of the freeway and the lake with the lights reflecting on the water. Youll also get treated to the live music performance thats playing from The Pub next door.

My recent visit left much to be desired, largely due to the condescending demeanor of our waiter and the unavailability of basic beverages. As someone who works in the service industry myself, I understand the importance of providing excellent customer service, which unfortunately was sorely lacking during our short visit. From the moment we were seated, the waiter approached us with an air of superiority, speaking to us in a dismissive and rude tone. It was evident that she had little regard for our experience as customers. Her condescending attitude persisted throughout the short time we talked to her, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. To add to the frustration, the bar was inexplicably out of cranberry juice, a basic beverage that one would expect any restaurant to have in stock. As someone who works as a waiter myself, I understand the importance of treating customers with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances. It was disappointing to see such unprofessional behavior from a fellow service industry professional. Not going to slam the entire restaurant, because the food was good, but the service was very poor... Waitress took our drink order, brought out my daughters soda and wives cocktail, but not my draft beer. Took 15 minutes for, Im guessing the bartender, to bring it to me, and it was completely flat. Asked for waters, never got them the entire meal. When our food came out, my wifes order was wrong. She ordered a ribeye, which I heard her say, but waitress put in ribs. By that point, my wife was just done and didnt want anything else. Ribeye, ribs... I get how that could happen, but what was really the problem is the manager never came to the table, and the waitress never apologized. She even told my wife You told me you wanted ribs. I get mistakes happen, and Im not 100% on the customer is always right, but obviously there was an issue, and she treated us like we were the ones at fault, and no one came out to even try to rectify the situation. Ended up paying $80 for a lousy night... UPDATE: a few days later, I received a phone call and spoke with, whom I assume was the owner. He was super understanding, and super nice. But, even though he offered to email me a coupon for a future visit, I never received it...

I dont frequently eat here but decided to give it a chance the young server kept forgetting a lot of things we asked for, we ordered water with lemons never got the lemons we ordered two different sides ending up getting the same sides at the end of the night we asked for to go bags and boxes she totally forgot we even asked never brought those oh yeah the margaritas with salt never happened she later came back and said its salt and peppper shakers at the table cant quite remember everything that went wrong but I definitely didnt feel like I should have tipped her but did anyway I understand we all have bills.

My husband and I went to this location maybe by four or five days ago and when I say the service was horrible if I could leave zero stars I would & the only person that I have sympathy for is the manager the manager was trying his best to get it together but it s the employees that make the business horrible. They have young people in there who don t really have any morals any values and they re very rude and disrespectful to the customers and the staff, they don t respect management and is horrible. They told us that they had flavors of all kinds every flavor we asked for was out the hostess on the night shift was very rude, like she literally needs to be fired immediately, like that is not a good representation of a business. First and foremost I SAW 2 ROACHES! I asked one of the managers Do y all know y all have roaches? And he looked at me, closed his eyes and shook his head yes! He blamed it on there being 3 doors.The waiter was all over the place and had to be reminded over and over what she forgot/was missing. It was very cold inside the building , my steak was supposed to be medium and came out well done , my broccoli was still in the plastic bag when it came to my table, so she had them recook it and the second one came out well done as well. I really thought Apple B was closed down but that was not the case.. Lol I enjoyed the atmosphere, the waitress was very attentive and I believe her name was Mo located in the Fountains in Sugar Land. The $14.99 deal ask you eat was a bonus I want expecting that. On Wednesday which we went on the right day had $1 Margaritas and they were on point.. So overall if I had to give the location a 1 or if 5 I will give them a 4.5 and why. 5 because my boneless wings were overcooked but MO did take them back to get that corrected and other than that I had a nice time. It was fun to have went there because me and a former co worker enjoy going there when we worked together kept in touch over the years and hung out there again.. Fraudulent and horrible service. Police called. Yesterday on 2-6-24 my boyfriend and I went to applebees. Our service was terrible: we ordered our drinks and the drinks never came. In the end, we gave our server Mohagany no tip as the overall interaction was terrible. As a result we manually typed O.OO as a tip. Today in the afternoon, we saw that a payment of $5 was taken from our account as a tip. Again, we left no tip however this tip mysteriously appeared without our consent. We are looking to press charges against Mohagany. Be aware. Do not come here.

Walked in and went straight to the bar.. there was only a total of 2 couples checking out and 1 table , I didn t even receive a hello or be right with you. I m a bartender as well and I think it was very disappointing, I would understand if the man behind the bar was busy but after I noticed he wasn t going to greet us, I walked to the host stand and waited for someone again, there was no initiative to greet guest or actually give solid customer service. Very very disappointing. The gentleman man just said I ll get to you one moment, when I was speaking to my partner patiently waiting then preceding to just look lost, so we just left. I ll try again and maybe next time there will be faces that actually want to work. I personally think you should hire people who actually want to be in customer service.

I suggest getting a table if you plan to dine here. The bar area is loud, trashy and they allow people to be over served and annoying to the other guests without removing them. The bar tenders look like ex cons and they are very dismissive. The food is sub par and nothing like the commercial. The drinks are ok, but there is really no reason to go here unless you are dining late or you plan to go get plastered with friends. Not a favorite.

Came in for the $14.99 all you can eat Riblet, boneless wings, and shrimp promotion. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings first which sat in a pool of greasy sauce. My husband ordered the riblet first. Then they told us they ran out of shrimp. Really? Its only 6:00 pm. -------- Several days later, an area manager from Applebees by the name Stevenson Hobbs wrote me an email, saying that he had a conversation with the employees and all issues were resolved. The real issue is that two paying customers didnt get the food the advertisement promised. I dont know why he thinks having a conversation with the employees took care of our side of problems. Me and my spouse came to this applebees 45 minutes before it was time for the kitchen to close, thinking me and my spouse had time to look over the menu and see what we were going to eat. As we walked in the host at the front desk said that they were closed when I called at the 50 minute mark what time their kitchen closed and someone answered saying 1:45 . So I told the host what I was told and another host came up to him and said he would take us. As we were beginning to sit down the bartender says to my spouse and i with a attitude if y all getting ready to sit down we re closed I proceeded to tell her the host at the front said he would take us so I proceeded to sit down. The host that was taking us walked back to where the bartender was and had both there backs turned talking to each other about if he was going to take us or not as if we could not hear them. The bartender yells across the counter asking us what we wanted to eat so I tell her. As she was putting our order in the host that told us they were closed walked to the same side of the restaurant we were and and the bartender yells to him I don t want to clean no more plates I m not doing it no more we re supposed to be closed and I just cleaned all my tables so me and my partner seen as we were troubling her decided to get up and tell them that it was okay we didn t want the food. And she yells that s why I don t want people coming in after closing the service was disappointing and majority of the works were disrespectful especially the bartender.

We came in the door, and the host was literally 1 ft away wiping menus, and we stood there at least 5 minutes waiting to be seated. We ordered our food 2 for $25 at the same time we ordered drinks and my husband specifically asked our server if it was $2 extra for fries and the waiter said no thats the platter. So he said hed take the fries as long as they were NOT extra. I ordered the Oriental salad and asked for the chicken on the side or in a bowl. I was told not a problem. My husband got an unsweetened tea and asked for sweet-n-low, and he brought Splenda, sat it on the table, and walked off. We got our appetizer and he never checked on us again until the food came, after he dropped our food off , with the chicken on top of my salad, not in a bowl or on the side.. he left and never checked on us again. My husband had to get up and go over and ask another server to get his attention to get a to go container. He gets our bill, and it was $27 he added the $2 for the fries even though we specifically asked if they were $2 more. He goes back and sits down and never brings the container. My husband had to get up AGAIN and ask another server, who graciously got us the container and cleared our table. We were given a gift card for Applebees, and this was the closest Applebees to us. We will never go back. It was quite disappointing, and we left frustrated and mad that we spent the fuel to drive all the way over there for that treatment and experience.
