Stuffed shrimp come on a sizzling skillet and you get 8 of them badboys .. absolutely delicious.. you also cant go wrong with their fried gator tail and for dessert we had bread pudding So far everything Ive tried here has been amazing and the prices are also very reasonable.. highly recommended

We ate there on Saturday. It was very busy, but surprisingly we got seated and served pretty quickly. Our server (Brooke) was a sweetheart! It was my cheat day, so I got the rat toes and jambalaya pasta. The portions were big, so I took some of it home, which in turn made Sunday a cheat day too lol! That food was too good not to eat the rest of it! It was my first time going there in a few years, but Ill definitely be visiting more often now.

Me and my wife went here yesterday to celebrate her birthday. We arrived around 3:30 and there were maybe 10 to 12 people seated, unfortunately there was no host/hostess to greet or seat us, we waited maybe 5 mins before someone came and sat us, no apology was given but we still proceeded behind her to our seats. We sat and looked at the menu while observing the facility, noticing there were 4 waiters/waitresses tending to the 10 to 12 customers so we assumed the service would be good and fast. After about maybe 10 mins of being seated a waitress walked towards us, looking at us BUT walked past us to a older couple seated near by. I noticed two other waiters/waitress look directly at us but just continued with what they were doing. So after maybe another 5 to 10 mins of being ignored, we got up to leave. As we walked away from the table the older couple said I dont blame yall, they know they see yall, the service here is terrible and this will be my last time coming I agreed with her then walked towards the door where the host was sitting off to the side on her phone, she looked up and said Thanks for coming.. I said We didnt eat, why wasnt we served, we were ignored and got no service she said Really? Who was your server to which I replied I dont know we were never served.. she said Was it the guy I said I think it was the girl and left out but 1st how can she not know we werent served when we werent there but maybe 20 mins, SHE sat us down but ASKED ME who was my server and she didnt offer an apology OR try to rectify the situation, she could have easily said please take a seat and Ill take care of this. The staff should complete inability to do a professional and respectable job. I like Razoos but this experience made me not want to go back, the staff is horrible.

This place has become one of our go-to places for food! Weve been there so much that we are known. The managers and wait staff are awesome and have become family. All of them are friendly, and there is a team effort to make sure the customer is satisfied and served well and often. The food and portion sizes are great. The atmosphere is good, not too loud. Even when they are jam-packed, they are able to keep the larger parties separate from the smaller ones. We keep taking others with us and will continue doing so.

Picked this place for my special work lunch. I ordered the jambalaya and regret it. Not flavorful at all and the pasta was mushy. Definitely not a fan of this meal option since one would assume is a staple of Cajun cuisine. Service was good since the server remember us from previously stopping in. Me and my Husband went to celebrate our pregnancy and let me just say the baby loved the food!!! My husband ordered a Togo plate of crawfish ettoffee and we both finished our entire platters. Our server Areyana was absolutely wonderful and didn t make us feel rushed. She made jokes and was very helpful with all of our questions. The staff is so nice and they keep the place VERY clean. Razoos at Stafford is definitely the go to spot! Between our host Tyler and waiter Peter they didn t miss a beat! They constantly checked in to make sure all our needs were met before we even knew something was needed. Their joyous and energetic spirits coupled with their my pleasure attitudes and smiles was cherry on top of our experience. The recommendations made didn t disappoint. Their patience and understanding was appreciated as we asked our many questions and pondered over the menus all were met with a smile and patience. Stop through and get the service you deserve! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Upon walking into the restaurant, there was a young guy at the hostess stand. He and another guy were having a conversation and cussing. I was in the waiting area next to them with my young child. The service was SLOW AND AWEFUL. The whole experience here was just terrible. The food was bad, no silverware, plates or napkins. We had am issue with one of the plates that seemed impossible to resolve. The waiter was rude to one of our guests and needless to say the food at best was just ok. I wouldnt ever come here again. The place is run down and restrooms are gross. There needs to be a definite refresh of those location with adults that want and know how to work as opposed to kids you arent willing to train properly in customer service. This place is definitely not what it used to he nor has it been in years. A waste of time and money.

Fried catfish & shrimp was delicious, we went during the lunch hour, 3 tables already had 2-4 guests, 1 was eating, unbeknownst to me, the 2 other tables hadn t even ordered drinks yet and they were inside and seated prior to us getting out of the car as we sat in the car for 6 minutes before going inside. A server eventually came over to us to greet herself and take our drink order, but I quickly noticed she was the only server during the lunch hour which was unacceptable being as though 5 other groups had come in prior to us receiving our food and she was still the only server in that area. This location appears much larger and even looks better on the interior than the Spring location BUT I know had I gone to that location I would ve been waited on immediately and that s where I ll be going from here on out. Please don t make me wait, instead of having a group of employees chatting it up at the door, someone should ve been serving the customers.

Raazzoos has quickly become my go-to spot for seafood since moving to Houston. The food was exceptionally fresh, served hot, and bursting with flavor. Every dish was perfectly seasoned, and the drinks were just as impressive. The atmosphere was inviting, and our waitress went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend the seafood platter and the jalapeño fish both are absolute must-tries. The restaurant itself is clean, with ample parking and a stunning view of the lake. Date night Our recent date night was disappointing. The food we ordered had a sauce that tasted off, and it was clear the temperature wasn t right. We also specifically requested no mushrooms on our shrimp dish, but it arrived with mushrooms and chicken instead. When we sent it back, it returned five minutes later with the mushrooms clearly picked out (took three tries before the order was correct). This is unacceptable, especially considering the potential for serious allergies. Among the other issues we experienced we wont be returning!

I gave the service four stars because we sat here for awhile without anyone coming to assist my family and I. Our waiter (male) came looked at us and left. Another waiter named Dontae came asked did our original waiter helped us yet, and proceeded to take our order. While taking our order another waitress (female) came with an attitude telling him he couldn t help our table because he s not our waiter. As Dontae assured her that no one had came to the table to assist us. She continuously told him with an attitude he couldn t do that. Honestly she could have said whatever to him in the back and not infront of everyone. (So unprofessional). He apologized for her actions and continued to help us. He was so sweet, professional, and exceeded our expectations. Dontae is the reason why we decided to stay and left his a great tip. The food (OMG) is sooooo good. Just based off the food, I m honestly surprised this place isn t as packed as it should be. Also the manager was so sweet and very professional as well. We told her about the food and our waiter Dontae, we didn t tell her anything about the others because we understand people need their jobs, but they need a meeting for their staff to be on the same page!

Razzoo s has been around for years. I m familiar with the menu. Standard seafood options; fried fish or shrimp, pastas, cajun sides (hush puppies, red beans & rice, vegetables, etc.). I recently visited for take out , I wasn t too impressed. Everything tasted like it had been warmed; didn t taste fresh. Nor was the temperature appropriate. If I spend $50+ on food, I expect a certain level of quality. I won t be going back anytime soon. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere. This was my first time ever going to razoos and I want to say the standards I had for Razzoo s was over and beyond met . Our server Arieal was amazing . When I told her it was my first time she made sure I was well taken care of and recommended me to try new things I never tried . The rat toes were my favorite and her recommendation to have . Arieal explained everything out throughly for me and was very attentive to me the entire time felt like I was in a spotlight . The food came out on time and was very delicious I might say . I have never had this type of experience at Razzoo s. It started with the hostess. She said they would text us when our table was ready. No one ever did. We had to come and ask if it was ready. When we were finally seated, the people at the table next to us were seated after us. They had a different waiter. They ordered after us and still received their food long before we did. The waitress s name is Arieal. Apparently, our food was given to another table. She did not relay this info. The manager did when I spoke to him. The waitress did not come and check on us. We had to ask for everything including the check. After getting our credit cards, she proceeded to walk around the restaurant instead of processing our payment and promptly returning our cards. As this point I went and spoke with the manager. He was nice and apologized. He also gave us a gift card. Moral of the story: Arieal needs more training and she needs to improve her communication skills. Communication would have gone a long way in improving our experience.

Horrible experience from start to finish . When I arrived host sat me down , waitress let me know about the specials they were offering. I order a drink from the frozen section and my entree. After waiting 10 mins the food comes out looking good to the eye . Still waiting on the drink when it arrives it s not frozen . Very good food and fast service and friendly waitress staff..I told her I had a shell fish allergy and she got her manager and he was very helpful and communicated with the chef and they took great care of me and I was very satisfied and for dessert I told them I was dairy free and they also had dishes they recommended that was for me.. my daughter and girl friend also had a great time the atmosphere was wonderful with the pond watching the fish..we will be going back.. thanks for a great experience Kid-friendliness: My daughter ordered chicken and sausage gumbo and loved it and she had a great time

I recently visited Razoos Cajun Cafe to celebrate my husbands 38th birthday. I did not like that they did not have reservations, when it is clearly mentioned you can on the website. Once I got there, I asked them for table of 12, they said until and unless all 12 are there, they won t give us that table. We ended up sitting at the bar (6 of us) waiting for the rest. Once we got 8, I asked Atleast now can I get the table, they said no. I went up to the manager and told him it s my husbands bday Atleast can you give me a table of 10, the manager was so kind and he made adjustments and got us a good spot. Our server Deatrice, was really nice but food took really long to get to the table. Would I go there again, maybe, but I need to be ready to wait!

Genuinely the worst dining experience Ive had in about 3.5 years living in Houston. My girlfriend and I got here at 9:30, and they close at 10:00. Things were weird from the start. The hostess immediately assumed we were heading to the bar- my girlfriend had to go so far as to ask her if we could get a table, because it apparently didnt even occur to her to ask if we wanted one. Our server Ariel immediately came over looking wildly disinterested and ambivalent, at best, to our desires as customers. We ordered and I was informed they had just run out of gator. I found that surprising, given that there were only about 6 other people there...but, fine. I pivoted and ordered the fried shrimp po boy with a side of dirty rice and my girlfriend got the stuffed shrimp with mashed potatoes. We spent the next half hour waiting for our food, while my water cup sat empty due to Ariels lack of initiative and wanton disregard for her jobs duties. Let me repeat, it took them HALF AN HOUR to make a sandwich and some shrimp. When our food finally arrived, lazily dropped at our table by the ever frustrating Ariel, my girlfriends side was wrong. She ordered mashed potatoes, and got some kind of rice. My po boy was awful. I dont know what seasoning they used for the batter on the fried shrimp, but it certainly wasnt sufficient. The sandwich tasted like formed water. I took two bites and left the rest to rot. Ariel didnt deign to return to our table to check on how things were. No, she was too busy yapping with the table behind us. I dont generally like to cast aspersions on people in this way, but her attitude seemed completely different with the other table than it was with us. Its worth noting that Ariel and the other table shared an ethnic background- one that we do not share with them. The bill was discounted for the mistake with the side, so that was the one positive thing I can say. When Ariel came over to pick up the check, she still seemed allergic to talking to me or us as a table. I suspect she knew she did a poor job with us and didnt want to hear the complaints. Next time you want good Cajun food in the Stafford or Sugar Land areas, go literally anywhere else that serves it. Im appalled that this place even exists given the flavorless (bland Cajun food, really?) slop they serve to customers and the just short of openly hostile attitudes they seem to display to customers who arent of a specific ethnicity. I was almost embarrassed for them with how bad everything was. $30 and an hour of my life that I will never get back.

I visited this location with my aunt and mom, we ordered the chicken wing appetizer. When the wings arrived they appeared to be tasty, but after tasting them the chicken tasted spoiled and also had a funny smell to it. We explained this to our waiter and he replied yeah, someone else sent them back last week, I don t know what s going on with the chicken. He sent the manager over she asked us if we wanted anything else in lou of the chicken. We ordered fried pickles. Prior to ordering our fried pickles the waiter already took our orders for our entrees. Our fried pickles come out before our entree s. Halfway into eating the fried pickles our entree s came out. The food temperature with my food was cold, I explained this to the waiter. He looked at me and just said my bad . The manager came by and I explain to her that my food was cold. She asked if they could remake the food, and at this point I was already disgusted by the chicken and the poor temperature of my food, so I declined. A few moments later I rushed to the restroom to vomit. My mom told the waiter that I rushed to the bathroom to vomit and his reply was She didn t get sick here, you better call FEMA this was very insensitive considering all of Houston and surround areas have just been hit by Hurricane Beryl. The food and the services was POOR, and now I potentially have food poisoning! I will never frequent this location and I will be sure to let my family and friends know not to frequent this location as well.

This is my happy place when it comes to cajun. I dont know any other place that my taste buds will argue to stay. Ive literally tried everything on the menu and its spectacular. Staff at door were very hospitable. Waitress was good and attentive but not too sure about her demeanor. Not quite sure about her willingness to serve. The food was fresh and made to order; it was a nice temperature and texture. Menu has nice selections and is not too pricey. Parking: Large parking lot that is easily accessible.

After being a weekly regular at this restaurant for over 7 years I will NEVER return! My waitress was rude with a horrible attitude from the time me and my family was seated. She came to my table 3 times. 1) to take my order that she gave me a hard time with. 2) when she brought my food out in to go containers, when I was clearly dining in with my family! 3) after I complained to her manager, about not bringing us water or coming to check on us. Her manager (Hispanic guy) clearly told her we complained because she came back the 3rd time and said what do you want to drink, since you so thirsty . I maintained my composure but my daughter (19) immediately told her to stop disrespecting her Mother. The two went back and forth from there and the waitress had to be held back by the manager. To make the situation worse they allowed the waitress to continue to serve the tables around us, this further escalated the situation because the waitress was mean mugging and rolling her eyes. I then had to send my daughter to the car while I paid my tab inorder to properly diffuse the situation. Talked to the Gm (black woman) and all she said is she will handle the situation, which was a lie. Because I was sitting there and she couldn t handle it by assigning the server to a new section inorder to keep the peace and customers happy and safe. I will be reviewing them on tik tok (large following), calling corporate, and NEVER returning. It just really sucks because I ve loved this restaurant for 7 years and always bring my out of town family/friends/co-workers here

Restaurant was super clean! Staff was super friendly, courteous and responsive. Food was just okay. I think the menu needs help. I had the stuffed shrimp not impressed with the plating nor taste. Companion had pork chops. It was good, but just okay. Between the 2 of us $50 bill, but just didnt seem worth it.

My husband and I went here for dinner one night, and it was packed with large parties. Graduation just happened. I ordered the catfish and shrimp platter. They gave me two little catfish nuggets instead of catfish filets. Our waitress was great. She tried to get her manager to help us, but she had a weird attitude. I just wanted my food corrected. We were very calm about the entire thing. The manager, however, just seemed so bothered that we had a problem. The kitchen needs better management. Overall, it took more than 20 minutes to get our food. The food was great. It just took forever. The manager needs to work on her people skills a bit.
