It hurts to write this as we have loved this place for a long time, but havent been in months & dont know if well be back after this experience. We were super excited to see the orange cauliflower on the regular menu because weve had it multiple times when it was only there for a limited time as a special. We also ordered the buffalo cauliflower bites & garlic parmesan fries like always, but the quality is not at all like it used to be for any of the aforementioned items. Doesnt even look like the pictures they have in their app. One of the ladies there was super sweet & helpful, but I went back in to let them know they forgot about our buffalo cauliflower & that it seemed like the orange cauliflower was missing the glaze. They said they cook the sauce in. The second girl that assisted me gave me a fake type of sorry customer service attitude that made me feel as though she thought I was trying to pull one over on them to get free food or something. The energy she gave off made me very uncomfortable & feel like I did something wrong as a customer. They didnt want to have the kitchen make the buffalo cauliflower bites that we ordered because it was close to closing by then, so they said I would receive a refund on my card. From the timestamp on my picture, I was out of there by 5:55pm Orange cauliflower was tasteless, one of the ranch dressings was suspicious looking, garlic parm fries looked & tasted awful. I modified the pumpkin spice smoothie, so I i dont know if it would have been good if I didnt leave out the protein powder, but it wasnt smoothie consistency. The mac & cheese was ok, but the best & most consistent item we have had there was the gluten-free funfetti cupcake. We used to be able to call the order in, but had to download their app (understandably) to place our pick-up order, but when I got there to also purchase baked goods I had to download a separate app for in-store purchase points that dont combine with the points for online orders. It just doesnt make sense to me that they would not allow us to combine our points. Dietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten-free options

FIVE FREAKING STARS!! The food is amazing! Have food sensitivities and allergies has made eating very difficult, but today I got to eat like a Queen! Everything was delicious and did not cause any flare ups! The staff is incredibly kind as well and they matched my excitement for finding food I can actually eat! If you are dairy sensitive, this is the place to go! They made eating fun for me again!

This place used to be amazing when they first opened and the owners were involved. The quality of food has really gone down since they past on the duties. Weve given this place a few chances in the past year but man, each time we went, it got worse and worse. I still have hope for this place but theyve got to make some changes. Incredible food!! Whether vegan or not, i have eaten here several times with friends and family and everything is delicious and thoughtfully made. As a vegan I really appreciate the full menu. Adding here- really disappointed in the switch from DoorDash to UberEats for delivery. Cold fries are frequent and the delivery is very slow.

LOVED IT!!! No complaints at all. The customer service, ambiance, food, and beverages were all excellent. My friend and I drove all the way from Sugar Land, TX to try their famous spicy chicken sandwich. It was MOST definitely worth the hour drive and we already planned another day to come back again to visit and my friend isnt even vegan. He went on and on about how he loved the place. We ordered the smores double chocolate chip cookie, lavender cake pops, and the orange flavored lattes in oat milk and then took home the spicy chicken sandwich. Lets just say Im in LOVE with this place and super jealous Sugar Land doesnt have a bakery like this. We devoured everything and told the employees we loved their recommendations and service. Cute place!!!! I love being vegan haha June 6, 2024 update: The spicy chicken sandwich isn t the same as it used to be. It s a homemade seitan, which was extremely crunch, dry and was slightly burnt. There was barely any sauce on the sandwich. The fries didn t taste like truffle fries. I m sad bc this is supposed to be my favorite vegan restaurant.

In town for a show at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, we looked for a place offering vegan breakfast the next morning before heading home. Super happy to find this little gem so close to our hotel! The server was lovely, and while the full kitchen wasn t open yet, we got delicious kolaches and a couple cupcakes for the road. Love the vibes of the space too, and the cow painting makes me happy.

I recently developed a dairy and gluten intolerance and came across this little spot in the area. I m aware that my dietary modification won t be an easy change but knowing that I still have options for food that actually tastes good makes me happy! I ordered the garden burger, garlic parmesan fries along with a vanilla cupcake and red velvet cupcake (all GF of course). I was pleasantly surprised with the taste of everything! I recommend Wisdom Bakery & Cafe and will be returning to try more on the menu. Update: I tried the gf vegan chocolate chip cupcake today and it is the best cupcake I ve ever eaten. As a chef my standards are high but my main things I look for is freshness and ingredients. I could taste freezer in my food which came out luke warm (the fries especially). I ve had 3 bad experiences so I probably won t return but my prayer for this business is to see growth. While I love the ambiance I d love to see fresher ingredients where people can enjoy the food.

The food here is good!! I tried the Parmesan fries, cauliflower wings, spicy chicken sandwich, and sweet potato fries. So yummy!!! I ve never seen anyone make the chicken like they do here so it s very unique and has different spices, also the wings are crunchy which my husband and I loved. I did not like the cappuccino it was bland and too pricey for a reg coffee and I didn t like the cupcakes/ I tried carrot and lime. The lime cupcake was at least moist but I don t like the bottom they did it hard like a lime cookie also they topped it off with lime shavings and it was not good. (wouldn t order those items again.) the chocolate croissant is alright, they heated it up and it was a little soggy at the bottom. Korny vibes has better chocolate croissant! Also the wings don t come with ranch already :( it was extra. My husband ordered a different sandwich and it had jalapeño which wasn t stated on the menu so just watch out in case you don t like them.

Huge thank you to the staff working Saturday afternoon. I try not to order close to closing time as Ive worked in restaurants and understand what a pain late orders can be. I broke my own rule because Ive been craving Wisdom and my work schedule makes it hard to catch them when theyre open. I ordered through Doordash at about 4:30. I half expected the Wisdom to decline the order, but they confirmed it. Everything was hot and delicious! The spicy chickn sandwich is sooooo good and they have the best cauliflower wings ever. Cozy little place in spring, tucked in a small shopping complex, was a difficult to spot this place. They do have a pretty compact menu with mostly burgers, wraps, and fries. They do offer dessert options as well. ( cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, cake pops and parfaits) Being vegan for a while I felt the that they were trying to replicate the meat rather than just providing plant based healthy alternatives. I really wish they would focus on making food rather than imitating the meat texture. Their cupcakes, and cinnamon rolls were so good. I recently visited and indulged in their spicy chicken sandwich with truffle fries, along with a Carmel macchiato with almond milk and a dark chocolate croissant. Let me tell you, each bite was a delightful journey of flavors and textures! The Carmel macchiato was a perfect balance of sweetness, and the dark chocolate croissant was heavenly flaky, soft, and bursting with rich chocolate goodness. It was evident that all the pastries were freshly made, adding to the overall quality of the meal. The spicy chicken sandwich, made with seitan, was a unique experience. While the texture was exactly like chicken sandwich, the flavor wasn t completely developed. It was still enjoyable, especially when paired with the flavorful spicy sauce. It s very pricey and the food is okay. It s a cute place inside. I went to visit this place and overheard workers talking about owners in a negative light. I was the only guest at the time in the restaurant so it was clear when I heard them talking. Not sure if I would return back. Overpriced. Cannot recommend this place, primarily because the food is TERRIBLE. Its expensive ($15 or so for a very small portion of flavorless/extremely high salt food). I m giving a review, I doordashed this place yesterday. I ordered the cheesy truffle burger (Beyond Patty, lettuce, tomato, pickles, cashew cheese sauce, I added Spicy vegan mayo for an extra 75 cents) and a side of garlic parm fries. My order came it smelled so good however when I opened the bag and the box was opened. It was in one of those brown boxes that you have to fold down and put together. So after further investigation I can t blame it on the delivery driver because the box had not fold marks to show signs that the box was ever closed. I prayed over my food and at it also i paid extra for the spicy vegan mayo and I did not have it on my burger. It was delicious but to the company please make sure the boxes are closed for all take out order if it s being DoorDashed or if I come in and pick up my own order. I will give you another chance but I want my food closed and protected.

Used to order Wisdom Bakery from Doordash frequently but stopped ordering since the quality has gone waaaay down. Everytime I order something fried its burnt and inedible. The cupcakes used to be huge and now they are tiny. This used to be my favorite Vegan place to order from, sadly not anymore. I recently visited Wisdom Bakery Café and tried their Satan Chicken Spicy Chicken Sandwich and Cheesy Truffle Burger. Unfortunately, the chicken sandwich lacked the promised spiciness and had a falafel-like taste without the expected breading. It was dry, bland, and lacked seasoning. The Cheesy Truffle Burger was also bland and dry, requiring an additional $.75 for sauce that only slightly improved the overall flavor. The experience fell short of expectations, and I wouldnt recommend these menu items. Additionally, I tried the quinoa wrap, which, unfortunately, mirrored the lackluster experience of the other dishes. It was bland, lacked flavor, and was excessively dry. The overall sensation was akin to the discomfort of getting sand in your socks at the beach an unpleasant dining experience across the board. But the people were nice.

As of now, we do not recommend this company. In the past we have had good experiences, but yesterday when I was trying to order something for Christmas, the person gave me the impression that there would not be a problem. When I went online the same evening to order, as I discussed with the person, the item was no longer available. When I called back today, the individual on the phone wasnt accommodating at all and wouldnt let me speak to the owner. She said the owner was there, but wouldnt forward the phone to her. Extremely frustrated. Its a shame that this is how the owner wanted to allow her business to be run.

Ive been to Wisdom three times so far and I liked it each time I was there. The food and drinks are tasty and reasonably priced and the staff are friendly. If you re looking for beautiful ambience & tasty treats- look no further! I am a latte lover and this has become my favorite place to stop in for an iced oat milk latte. They have a fantastic blueberry pancake flavored iced latte right now that is consistently TO DIE FOR. Their espresso and syrups are high quality and it shows in the flavor. The customer service wasn t the best. The lady at the front Maggie was very vague with her response and all I was asking for was which food she liked on the menu. It looked like she didn t want to be there. When I received my food my sweet potato fries were burnt, and the manager said that s how we fry our food. The manager had an attitude when we asked for our receipt back. I couldn t even enjoy my food without feeling uncomfortable. If you come here please be aware that you might catch the wrong one in a bad mood.

This place is amazing, and I have been missing out! I had no idea they were even here since they have eluded my Google searches up to this week. I have an egg allergy and my BF baby has an egg and dairy intolerance so finding anywhere to eat out has been insanely difficult since there are very few vegan restaurants around here. I had the BBQ sandwich and it was really good. The Philly is also super good. My husband had the truffle Mac and cheese and loved it, he had the gouda burger our second visit and was not a fan of it but he also has a pea allergy.. The cookies are all good, although my son didnt like the pecan cookies. The pb brownie is okay but dry imo. The truffle and garlic parm fries are both good. The cupcakes are great as well! Menu isn t kid friendly, spent $10 on a full size Mac n cheese that my son didn t eat because frankly it wasn t well-seasoned. He also didn t eat the chocolate chip cookie which I found to have an odd taste. I expected way more sauce on my chicken parm sub which made it overall quite dry but the taste was good. To top things off, the staff was unfriendly and Natalie seemed to not want to be there. The AC was barely existent which I find strange while charging customers $14 for a poorly made sandwich. The cookie butter cupcake was probably the best cupcake I ve ever tasted so there s that. This place could be great with a little change of staff and minor tweaks in recipes.

This is the first vegan place I ve been to here since we moved and it is amazing! I got the iced chai with oat milk and it s so good. For my entree I got the spicy chick n sandwich and a side of garlic parm fries and the food is amazing! I will definitely be coming back often to keep trying some more amazing creations. If I can rate this no star I would , received food from here and spent $52 food was not pleasing at all order a bbq sandwich way to much bbq to bare my girlfriend had the lentil burger that was over seasoned they slap a chunk of garlic on the fries , online the dessert says fudge brownies plural as in multiple only received one and it was so oily the oil was leaking out the box literally called in spoke with Arie the manager and she needs to have her manager position taken away called in so nice and polite the only thing she could do was give me $10 gift card so you want me to spend more money on food I just don t like ? My first time trying Wisdom cafe and it did not disappoint! The mac n cheese is amazing, my 9 year old loved it and she is very picky! Their chickpea salad sandwich was really good too and very filling! Their fudge brownie was delicious, very chocolatey and rich, I couldn t believe it was dairy free! This cafe is cute and cozy with a modern touch. They have sofas you can sit on and the customer service is outstanding, very hospitable! Whenever I visit the Woodlands again, I will make a stop here for sure!

The Cauliflower Wingz that my friend got were EXCELLENT!! HANDS DOWN...no exaggeration...IM TALKING TOP THREE FAUX WING FLAVOR!-type excellent! I will go back and have those, again. I give those a 5/5! I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and Id give it a 3/5. While good enough, I wasnt particularly wowed. Perhaps because it wasnt the least bit spicy but the general flavor was kinda bland (for me). I got one for my hubby, too, and he was also disappointed that it wasnt at all spicy. While there, we ordered the garlic parm fries. They were not good to me, but my friend thought they were okay. I also ordered us one Key Lime cupcake to split. I liked the taste. It was very moist and flavorful, but also very expensive. We both had the Matcha tea beverage, and it was very good. The staff was friendly. You order and get a number and then they bring the food to your table but you must bus your own tables when youre done like a fast food place...which is no problem...but I just want to let that be said in case you want a full,- service experience. Vegetarian options: Well, its a vegan restaurant, so everything is also automatically vegetarian.

This vegan restaurant was great. We ordered half the menu. We had the chicken wrap which was 3-4 of everyone s favorite, the Spicy chicken sandwich which was fantastic, the quinoa wrap, the chickpea salad sandwich, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato fries, pesto fries, coca smoothie, black coffee, strawberry lemonade, strawberry cupcake which my 8 year old said was the best thing he has ever eaten and a cake pop. Service and communication here was terrible and actually has been declining. My last THREE visits were all pretty much disappointment after disappointment. Twice they forgot half my order and only realized that once Im home. I go back to pick it up, which Im almost 30 minutes away, I get there and no apology both times. My last visit I called in to place the order and once I arrive they said they were out of what I ordered. Ummmm okay so you couldnt tell me when I placed the order???? Or how about calling me back and telling me youre out! Nope, not this terrible costumer service facility. I will never go there again.

I would highly recommend giving people time limits on the time allowed in the restaurant. People come chill here all day and then no one else can enjoy the lounge areas. The seating could be arranged better for sure to allow multiple people to enjoy the atmosphere. One person was taking up an entire table meant for multiple people. No places to sit inside besides the bar stool area which was really cold. Theres so many people coming in without enough room...the owners should think about expanding.

My wife (vegan) + kid (gluten free) *adore* this place. I, who have no dietary restrictions at all, also *love* this place. I think just about anything Ive tried here has been worth trying - but especially every variation of fries, or chicken wrap, or stuffed bellpeper, or baked goods of the day, or... well, anything, really. IMO, this is the kind of place you can bring non-vegans to surprise them with how good vegan foods can be- and major bonus points for having as many gluten-free options as they do (safe for medical gluten-free types, not just for the diet folks!) Vegetarian options: Everything here is vegan by default, and all the more delicious for it, since they build their menu around their ingredients (as opposed to just making blind ingredient substitutions to make things work). Dietary restrictions: Most of what theyve got can be gotten gluten free. Theres almost always some gluten-free baked goods available too.

I am just beginning my vegan journey. I was searching for a vegan restaurant near me and came across Wisdom. I immediately got dressed and went to dine in on Sunday, April, 2. The cafe was cute and cozy and the staff was friendly. I went to try the Philly but on the menu it stated sold out. I decided to get the crispy chicken wrap, the garlic parm fries, and a strawberry lemonade. It was all very delicious. I sent my son on Friday to get me a Philly, garlic parm fries, and a cinnamon roll. The Philly was delicious and more than enough. I could only eat half. And oh my, the cinnamon roll was better than I could have imagined. Thank you Wisdom!! I will definitely be back to try more.

I have a vegan friend that lives in Kingwood. He said he read about a vegan bakery on Rayford and wanted to try it. Apparently it has been there for a year now, and I had no idea it existed until today! Its amazing! I had a vegan spicy chicken sandwich and pesto fries, and it was delicious! My friend had a vegan philly cheesesteak, he said it was great! I bought my mom, who is not vegan but cannot have dairy, a slice of chocolate cake with pecans, she loved it! My sister is allergic to milk, she is coming over tomorrow to try it! I cant wait to try their breakfast! I understand why some vegan places charge more for less. It s the quality of the ingredients. I tried the spicy (that was not spicy at all) chicken sandwich. It was tini and I can not understand why this place don t switch to paper wrapping or something. Such a big box for a tini amount. So it was my first time eating food from this restaurant and I will say I was pretty impressed with all the vegetarian options as I was thrilled to try them all. I did try the Mac n cheese, cauliflower wings, and chikn sandwich with the truffle fries and my favorite among those options was the Mac and cheese, Def hit the spot. I wanted to like the sandwich but it was a bit too dry for my taste and the cauliflower wings were prob the best Ive had so far, although they were a bit greasy they were HUGE. All the sauces it came with were really good too. After eating the food for take out their is a chance I will eat it again, but it is one of those options that would come as a last resort for me if Im going to do take out. I was very excited to try this place out, I had been wanting to go and was finally in the area. The ambiance was nice when walking in, I began to look at the menu. After looking at the menu I asked if they had specialty drinks and the young lady looks me dead in my face and says yeah, under speciality drinks I go back to look at the menu (understandably maybe my vision isn t perfect) I ask again where does it have them listed? She tells me again under speciality drinks needless to say I found it myself. Poor customer service. Unfortunately I ve found this common with new businesses there is such a lack of basic customer service. Wisdom Vegan Bakery & Cafe is a small place with a wonderful atmosphere. Very cosy. Very clean. The food is great. They have vegan baked goods such as croissants, cookies, and cupcakes. You can order vegan cakes. They also have regular food. The food is mostly sandwiches or side orders. I encourage you to check out the menu online. They also serve wine. If you have a large group (more than 6) then it may be difficult because its not possible to re-arranging the tables and chairs. Otherwise, the place is just so nice, and the people working there are very friendly.
