My customer service experience was horrible It has been a few years since I ve been to this establishment(Woodlands Sawdust) and I never had a problem in the past, until today. I was on that side of town today and decided to give old faithful a tried And I shouldn t have. I rejected the gift card from Manager(that felt it will resolved the issue) and just ask that they treat people like HUMANS! Btw this is my first time ever writing a review but it was necessary.

Everything here is fresh. Guacamole is fresh. Big nice juicy shrimp. My fajita meat was very tender. The margarita definitely has tequila in it. Lol. We also got a taco salad, it was huge. stuffed. Our waiter was kind and polite. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Pulled into the parking with the intentions of dining at another restaurant and same this huge facade and said this has to be good. Salsa was very good. Got more brought out for my fajitas. Got the steak fajitas, and they were well seasoned. There is definitely a difference in the cut of meat from other restaurants I have eaten at. Charo and refried beans were good. No lettuce or cheese with the dish and guacamole was loaded with onions. Im not a fan of that at all. So it was beans, cooked onions, rice, steak, and salsa. Naked is what I call that. Left the restaurant full, and the price was not too bad as it relates to portions. There are plenty of TVs to watch. Another been there done that. Once and done!

Pleasantly surprised because Im not fond of the unknowns. Took mom for a hair appt next door and then stopped in for lunch. We had a great time and the food was really good. My measure of a new place is to order a favorite dish and it was beef enchiladas w/rice and refried beans. I practically devoured my meal, buy had to stop because I wanted to try some of their desserts. Barely left room, but got the sopapillas. And OMG so many and SO good! Definitely a dessert to share. Maybe with 3 people lol Will definitely come back and try a different dish when in the area

This is in humble, kingwood to be exact.possibly THE Worse Mexican food I ever tasted. My chicken was chopped into pieces. The cheese on top was not white it was yellow and taste imitation. My y food was cold, I live 3 minutes from this place. I have noticed it says tex-mex probably where I went wrong. Im used to authentic Mexican food, this is for the bland people.

Went today for quick chips and Queso with my kiddo who wasn t super hungry. Our server was insanely soft spoken and I had to ask him to speak up several times. We ordered chili con Queso (large) and I ordered a Margarita. Queso was great! My Margarita never arrived. Server never followed up to make sure we had all we d ordered, and I had to ask for the bill twice. When it finally arrived, he d charged me for the margarita and $2 for a side of jalapeños that were on our plate for the Queso. I asked him to remove the Margarita and reminded him that I never ordered a side of jalapeños. We took off the marg but said he could not take off the $2 benthos I never requested them. When he ran my car, he still charged for the drink I never got. It was a whole ordeal getting my money back, and paying the proper charge. I will only ever go back if I can guarantee I don t get that server again.

Ok Tex Mex usually. We used to enjoy this location but the service has been lacking. The last several times, the servers had issues taking our orders. Last Sunday, I ordered a side of grilled mushrooms and had to cancel it after 25 minutes and I was almost half done with my entree. My husband and I didnt receive the beans that should have come with the entrees, the chips were not up to snuff and they served my son spoiled milk, which could be smelled from 2 feet away. The Manager was kind but I was so queezy I went to the car while my husband delt with the bill. Although my sons meal was free due to the weekly special, there was no additional discouts for the issues. I dont see us going back any time soon, if at all.

Not horrible but below average. Queso was salty but ok. Fajitas were tender but there were pieces of inedible grizzle among the meat. salty marinade was like heavy like soy sauce?? Refried beans had metallic note otherwise bleh, cold. Like they d been plated too soon. Three of four orders weren t right. Supposed to be mixed fajitas but we just beef. Server brought chicken for one person a bit later. I didn t try the chicken. Rice was dry cold. And then the thing I despise in restaurants every few minutes is everything ok . Interrupting conversations. Obviously not. but we weren t going to complain. Probably won t be back though.

My favorite Mexican food of all time right down the street from my house. Super fast service with the strongest margaritas ever. I do all my business meetings here because they also offer free Wi-Fi. But I have to be careful because one margarita will get you tipsy but two somebody might have to carry you out. Also theres a bar and you can smoke there but it doesnt smell up the restaurant I dont know how they do it the food is fast that drinks are good and the restaurant doesnt stink! They also have cheeseburgers that I can bring home to my kids they really like them and their French fries. I dont know how they do it but Im glad they do!! The picture is tortilla soup. Its amazing and filling. I just got the small cup I cant imagine eating a larger size. But they have a larger size. I like to get there cheese enchiladas a lot and their chips are unlimited they just keep bringing them ask for the green salsa. I have to be careful here because I got to keep her professional but the Margaritas are banging. Oh did I mention so affordable? Very affordable. Call ahead of time to pick up. Or you can have it delivered by doordash I wanted to delivery services. They also have little arcade machines in the back for the kids and I believe kids eat free on Sundays. Easy parking, plenty of space Even when they are busy. Just go trust me!

Horrible experience! Not impressed at all with the service and the staff. This is my first and last time I ll come here. Will not recommend to people I know. My sister were waiting to get our drinks order and the guy that brought our chips I formed me that he could not get me water, that I would have to wait for my assigned waiter, but he did get my sister tea. So I waited and waited, but our waiter didn t come, so I waved the guy down and again asked if he could pls bring me a water and he instead said he would get my waiter. I then see a waitress heading our way but she decides to stop and take another tables s order instead, (that table arrived about 10 minutes after we did). First time here and had a wonderful experience with expert customer service. The tables, restaurant, and bathrooms were immaculate. Service was not very good cause no wait staff. Had the manager doing it ALL and going to he open the need to service only half of the restaurant if doing all work self. Would not recommend until have more staff.

The gravy was the worst I never tried, the price was high usually I pay in other better restaurants only $6 for 32oz, the manager was rude and unrespectfull !! I can recommend el palenque in spring, el rancho in shenandoah BUT NEVER THIS ONE !! UGH

One of my top 3 Tex Mex places in my area. They are family run and the food preparation is consistent. Have never had a disappointing experience there. Unfortunately they had to discontinue the free soft serve desert due to Covid/health concerns. Staff is always attentive and friendly.
