Sad to hear about what happened to the previous structure but the new one is incredible. Close to bathrooms and I enjoy the fenced off toddler play area. Playground: Everything is brand new as of March 2022 Toilets: Close to playground. Locks have been removed from main entrances so no one can lock themselves in the restroom. Always clean. Picnic area: New table in open air and in a pavilion.

Newly rebuilt playground which is fenced in which provides safety to children. My kids love it and want to go there daily. Playground: Playground recently rebuilt by the community after arsonists burned it down. It is fenced in which I love. Kids love it!! Toilets: Not sure how clean but they are on the premises

I grew up going to this park, my younger siblings grew up going to this park. I moved back into the area and was so excited to take my son there to play but was absolutely heartbroken to see the park I loved no longer stood there. I really wanted to share that memory. I really hope they build liberty park playground back up for future generations to enjoy.

Nostalgic, I was attending the elementary school across the street when this park opened Playground: Its good, but the wood can use a power sanding to soften the touch and maybe a new coat to protect little ones from splinters Picnic area: Nice shaded area with decent amount of tables

This park used to be nice. It can be again if they put some love into it by repairing it. The wood is rotting and p**** have the mulch is non-existent. Its a safety hazard Playground: Needs work. Dog-friendliness: They have a trail that others visitors walk their dogs on and an area where dogs can play.

There are 2 entrances and exits, but otherwise enclosed which was awesome. I have a 5, 4, and 2 year old and they did not escape and keeping an eye on them was easy. That said, this park needs some maintenance. There are missing boards and exposed nails/bolts that are rusty and some boards loose on the ground.

The park itself was ok, but the equipment is very old and in desperate need of maintenance. I found screws sticking out in multiple places and wood boards falling off. The worst part is the bathroom. It smelled horrible and the floor was disgusting from an overflowing toilet. Did not feel very safe for my kids to play when there were too many blind spots trying to keep on eye on them.

The place is huge! Unfortunately its starting to show its age. There are some dangerous obstacles and play things that would seriously hurt your child, so supervision is required on all play items. Wood rotted, boards rotted, slides literally broken in half, bolts missing from main beam supports for the swings, ropes/tires/chains broken etc.etc. Hopefully the neighborhood/HOA or whoever maintains it can do a donation drive or community event perhaps to help rebuild it a bit and get it to working order

Older cool park for the kids. Park could use a little tlc. Off the main road extra parking is across the street. Park has trash cans and BBQs . Park equipment seams to have a little bit of stuff for all ages. Park is gated / fenced Close distance off Aldine Westfield. Park has restrooms. Kids need shoes to attend due to thorns-stickers.

Old-ish park with lots to do for kids. It is a little run down and has minimal trash. With my limited experience here, I havent ever noticed anything illegal going on or sketchy activity - so thats good.

Bring bug spray and doggie bags. Very nice park but definitely wear closed toe shoes because its wood chips. Lots to do and a place for parents to sit. Its enclosed too so its easy to set boundaries. Closes at dusk, a constable comes and parks to let everyone know its time to go.

Lived in Spring for 28 years now, mom had taken me a few times in 2001-2003. Park is still exactly the same but that is a good thing! Never too crowded either unlike Burroughs etc. (or not needlessly large with many empty spaces)

It is a very clean and quiet park...very picturesque if you will....but when they say park is closed from dusk till dawn they mean it because it is scary dark at night!! The whole rd is very dark and scary at night. I feel it is very unsafe to be that dark! Some people do walk up that street at night but I definitely would nit advise it!!! But during the day beautiful!

Best park during COVID-19 era. The wood has shown to hold the virus for less time than other surfaces and it is not that covered, allowing the sunlight to also influence its prolificacy. Besides that, it is huge with many different things for the kids to run and climb. They love this park and it is always a good experience.

Very unique park on the North North East side of town! Hours of play for sure here. Theres a big open field to play sports also, a walking trail, restrooms, and the play ground is for both older kids and a section for smaller children. Covered picnic area and trees with shade around for gatherings.

Nice park for kids. They have swings for all ages and specialty swings for those with disabilities and a tire swing. Wooden large play area that is pretty well maintained. I did notice a few repairs that need to made so just keep an eye on the little ones because it was in that area. They have a track and workout equipment too.
