I saw a lot of good reviews and decided to give it a try, but I was left disappointed. When we went there was only one other table there. No one offered us drinks. We ended up having to get someones attention towards the end for a drink in which they finally offered pita bread, buy we were almost done withour meal. The food wasnt really good and no silverware was to be found. Ill stick to Dimassi for Mediterranean buffet.

I was lucky to meet the owner, Mr. Ramez who is really wonderful personality and caring owner to all details and making everyone happy .. and making sure everything is perfect.. it is really excellent choice to visit and try a wonderful selection of food .. I never knew they actually have an actual location in Sawdust As i always eat at the Mall location.. but a few months ago the mall location suddenly closed so thanks to google I searched them and found out they have another location! I really love the briskets , hummus, rice, couscous, flan and all their food! Lol!!! There is something authentic about the flavor of their food! I love all their food selection from meats to desserts! Worth the 20 bucks!!! This is definitely now one of my favorite spots!!!

I ordered a chicken shawarma with fries. The shawarma was dry and moderately seasoned. The fries were just seasoned and soggy potato wedges. The seasoning was good, but texture could use work. The baklava was okay, super flakey with minimal cohesion or filling. I thought it was a bit too pricey for what I got, but the place had good ambience.

Ambiance: Large/open Mediterranean inspired restaurant with buffet and multiple tables perfect for lunch/dinner solo dining or with friends, co-workers, & family. The interior isnt overly decorated, but it is a clean space! If youre wanting a large variety of Mediterranean food to sample & enjoy, this is a great spot to do so! It was roughly $20 for the buffet and there were SO MANY choices from salads to appetizers to main + side dishes (and dessert!). The buffet also included a drink choice. You definitely wont leave hungry! I enjoyed the pasta salad, butter chicken, spicy hummus, and baklava. The service was great and checking out was fast. Ample parking available. I ordered 4 shawarma wraps, all of them are very very sour taste and I couldnt find any chicken in it, only onions and some seasonings with lots of sour taste which I couldnt ate. I had tried their shawarma before but it wasnt like this time, very horrible and we dont get what we pay for. I truly enjoyed coming here and speaking with the owners son, Mohman (I hope I m spelling this right). This is a very special place with incredible food. I can t even express how wonderful my experience was. This is officially my new go-to! The best dish is the kabob hala. It s is Mohman s mother s signature recipe and she even named it herself. My sister, nephew, and I went to The Woodlands Mall yesterday and we ate here and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! I got the lamb gyro and it was the best I ve ever had. The prices are very cheap for what you get. Portions are huge and quality is excellent. Also got some baklava which was delicious. Worst food place at the mall. It is the least busy. My husband and I decided to try it out as it seemed the healthier option. The plate options were very confusing on the screen. The gentleman to take our order wasn t helpful, just told us to state what we wanted. Then the wait for the food was ridiculously long, so naturally we kept looking back to see if it was coming out. We noticed a different guy just leaning back, scrolling on his phone, and chewing his nails with his other hand. But the worst part when our food was ready to plate, that same chewing-nails guy was the one to plate our food. He started grabbing the containers with his bare hands, fingers touching where the food would be. Never bothered to wash hands. My husband immediately went up and said we no longer wanted the food. My husband said no reimbursement necessary, but we were no longer interested. And he did explain why. The response from the staff: just shrugs and laughter. Horrible service. Money down the drain.

5 stars for FOOD! Wow! This was such an unexpected surprise. (We were in the mall food court, ya know?) The Gyro was filled with fresh ingredients, including delelicious cuts of well seasoned lamb. We loved their Tzatziki Sauce. It can sometimes taste bitter, but this was a well-balanced, creamy, salty&sweet combination! I ordered and loved a side of Bean/Lentil Salad. We will be back! 4 stars for SERVICE: I want to offer grace concerning the service we received - the servers seemingly disinterested, dismissive manner may simply be a cultural difference thing. I think that is a real possibility. But, maybe it was that the server was truly having a difficult time with life and was wishing he didnt have to be at work at all that day. - let alone greet customers with a friendly smile and helpful attitude. Regardless, it seemed we stepped up at the wrong time, thus the low customer service rating. Atmosphere 2: This was due to no fault of the establishment or its owner. After all, we were in the Mall. That all being said.....EATING WELL is 99% about the FOOD, right? And it was enjoyable enough for us to give TABLEYAH another opportunity by eating at the Sawdust Rd location. We hope we will find it to have delicious food served in a Mediterranean atmospheric venue with the kind of gracious hospitality the Mediterranean region is famous for. Watch for an UPDATE :)

Best Chicken Shawarma Ive ever had!! Definitely not what I expected in a mall food court. Im usually the only one in my family that has a taste for multicultural food of any sort, as my family went straight to Chik-fil-a, but I was excited at the chance to try this new place. I got my usual favorite dish, chicken shawarma which came with fries, but the gentleman taking my order (assuming the owner) allowed me to substitute for babaganoush, and I added falafel. Ive eaten at a handful of Mediterranean places in the area, but that first bite was BY FAR the best Ive ever had. Everything was so good and tasted so authentic.... so much so that I had to go back up to the counter and compliment the man and woman (who cooked the food). Never thought Id be writing a review for a food court restaurant! Very good, highly recommend, and happy I have an additional food option when out at the mall with my family. (Our experience, as detailed below, was at the location in the mall) The food was okay but Ive had better. It wasnt bad, but the price was really high and the service was bad. Ive never had a place that labeled taziki sauce as a separate side and charged you $3 for it. I asked what plate or combo I could get that included falafel cause I really like that and then somehow there was a misunderstanding and they gave me falafel with rice and some salad or slaw. When I questioned them on it and told them what I was wanting was hummus and falafel, they told me I had requested the rice and not the hummus. After minutes of discussion they said I will go ahead and give you the hummus, but you ordered the rice. which I really dont remember doing cause I dont even like rice with my Mediterranean food. It took between 10 and 20 minutes to be ready which is a long time to wait for food in a food court. And there was one person ahead of me waiting for food so it wasnt that they were slammed with customers or anything. It was not a good value because its overpriced and you have to pay for every little thing, whereas any other Mediterranean restaurant Ive been to will charge you for the meats and hummus but not for tzatziki sauce, the rice the food goes on, etc. There is another place right next to it in the food court that also sells gyros and other Mediterranean food that I felt myself longing to have go to instead. All in all I wouldnt return and I regretted choosing it instead of other places in the food court. If the food was amazing, life-changing Mediterranean I could probably forgive all of this but it was just okay so it wasnt worth the time and money and hassle.

Tried their Woodlands mall location today. The service was good. A lot of veriety. The shawarma was authentic spin around one. But it still tasted a bit different than the authentic one. Maybe the veggies had too many spices going around. Fries were perfect flavor and texture. The wrap came with garlic sauce and hot sauce. Overall, it was a good experience. First time in. Lunch time, buffet was just under $20. Place got busy while I was there. Food was ok/good, nothing that was astonishingly great. Presentation of the buffet could be improved a bit, just looks like a chow line. Iced tea was part of the lunch buffet. Bill had 18% auto gratuity added which I am not on board with. 18% is for a full service restaurant, not a buffet where you serve yourself. The auto tip turned me off, sorry. Might go back if someone else wants to try it.

There is a wide variety on the buffet. There is an a la carte option also. The menus are fairly outdated and contain incorrect information and prices. There was only one waitress to help everyone. The food was okay, however very greasy. It is an affordable option however I recommend that you pay more for a more delicately prepared food.

I ate at this restaurant for dinner with my extended family. We had children, teens, adults, picky eaters, and adventurous eaters. My family is omnivore and I am vegan. There were lots of choices for everyone, all in our party enjoyed the food and plan to return again in the future. The lentil soup (vegan) was so very delicious that I had a second bowl instead of dessert. The buffet is vast and the price includes pita, soft drinks and dessert. The owners were friendly and brought our group more baskets of pita without having to ask. The restaurant was clean, the food was fabulous and the evening was very enjoyable. Vegetarian options: Many salads, grape leaves and vegan cabbage rolls, hummus, baba ghanouj, eggplant salad, falafel upon request, lentil soup, okra in tomato sauce and much more. Vegan options are not marked but staff is happy to assist and explain. Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoyed the fried chicken, rice, pita, Egyptian salad and dessert.

I see the place is labeled as Egyptian but most of the items are not Egyptian at all. I had buffet there and ended up with the worst stomach ache ever. My friends had similar feelings about stomach aches and frequent bathroom visits! If healthy and tasty are your goals, you then should avoid visiting this place. I regret that it took me this long to learn about this place. The food is amazing. I have been to many Mediterranean restaurants, and Ta bleyah is easily now my top spot. I didnt know that Mediterranean food could be this flavorful. I havent tried all the dishes in the buffet yet. For those that I have, none is disappointing. I visited Tableyah for the first time yesterday and decided to check out the buffet with a friend who absolutely loves this place. For less than $20 I got to enjoy a myriad of Mediterranean dishes that were all very well made! The hummus, rice and garlic sauce, tahini chicken (my personal favorite), and baklava were all delicious! The pita bread is served to your table and you can ask for more as needed. We were checked up on and very well taken care of during our time here. Highly recommended!
