Dried out food, veggies on burgers was starting to go bad (actually spat out). Decor is the only thing it has going but its edging on tacky. Very pricy for what we got as well. Thats my meal...

Not a BBQ joint... burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs. If youre looking for a bbq plate this is not the place. High prices. A bbq burger, fries and a solo cup of beer was over 30 with the tip. Ouch! Thought I was back at Minute Maid park. Food : 2/5

Too many flies flying all over my food and my funnelcake wasnt fried all the way through. I could only eat the outside of it since the middle was still doughy. The brisket burger was not worth $18 by any means.

I got a classic cheese burger. The toppings and condiments were all fine. The burger actually looked good aesthetically. However and much to my dismay, the taste of the burger meat was not good. It was edible but weirdly seasoned. In my opinion, a plain hamburger meat with salt and pepper would have been better than whatever seasoning mix Loose Caboose is using. Their mini corn dogs were good though. 2 stars is for the disappointing burger. In fairness, I didnt bring up the food taste to the restaurant so I didnt give them a chance to make me something else. My thoughts leaving were I should of just stayed home and cooked for myself.

Juicy, flavorful, BIG, and served pipping hot, the burgers and sandwiches are so freaking good here! They also do a crawfish boil if youre into that. The decor is hilarious, and theres something new to look at every time you look up from your food. Plus the outdoor area looked really nice and breezy, definitely a good spot to chill with friends over great food.

Had a craving for a Frito Pie, this was the closest place to me to give it a shot. Being a Rail=Road fan the Loose Caboose was an obvious place I needed to try out. Had the Frito Pie & Fried Mac & Cheese sticks. Both were hot and fresh when I got them, expected the wait to be long when I ordered but only took 10 to 15 minutes to get my full order and be on my way. Would definitely go again, fantastic for some good southern cooking.

It is a small place. The food is good. You order at the counter, they give you a number, then bring it to you. People get loud. So, to me, the atmosphere is poor. My burger was very thick and juicy, I liked it. Its worth a pop in at least once to try it out.

Beware of what is on tv if taking kids. We ve eaten here before and I like the food and restaurant. However today I was very glad we didn t take our kids as there and a movie was playing that showed uncensored FULL female nudity. Not appropriate at all for what is supposed to be a family friendly establishment! Maybe it was an accidental oversight but I m not sure how, you have to know what is playing at your establishment? And if a channel or movie has nudity etc. in a space where kids may be? Even many adults are not ok with that in a public setting including myself. Very disappointed in the continual degradation of what is considered acceptable and decent in public in this country. I was getting to go at another family friendly restaurant later today for dinner where the teen employees were loudly blasting inappropriate rap music with all sorts of profanity including the N word. Clean it up America!

Great experience. The burger with pulled pork on it was ordered. Made it a combo with fries and drink. Meal was huge, hot and on point! Burger came with cheese, onion, BBQ, pickles and I believe mustard was on it. Very . Also tried the funnel cake. They are huge and absolutely delicious! Atmosphere inside was great...very limited space but very inviting nonetheless. There was live music on their patio which had a generous amount of seating. The guy singing had a great voice. I heard Tennessee Whiskey as we approached. Thought it was the actual song playing but it was actually the older gentleman singing. Nice vocals. Theres more shopping in cute lil quaint shops and eateries to enjoy nearby and all within walking distance. Many vendors throughout. Youll find clothing, novelty gifts, jewelry, pets, toys, marvel, hats, CBD products, snow cones, spiritual/metaphysical, cheese, alcohol, old school candy shop and so much more. Go check out Old Town Spring. Youll love it! PS...parking can be a challenge. But there are a couple of small lots that accept either a donation at one and $5 at the other.

Whoever the lady at the cashier was, she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. When taking our order, she was very abrupt and rushed through everything. A short while later, a different worker dropped a bag at our table and took away our table stick number thingy. My family took out a bag of fries and started eating on them. I reached in the bag for the rest of our food and saw we were given BBQ sandwiches, which was not what my family ordered. I promptly went inside to inform them of the mix up, bringing the bag of BBQ sandwiches. The cashier lady then accused me of not taking my number resulting in messing up their orders. As we were speaking, a waitress carrying my familys meal mentioned that she couldnt find table number #, which was our meal and I informed them my number stick thingy was already taken by the initial bag dropper. I listed our order and she confirmed it was ours and she followed me to our table. The cashier lady comes a minute later to our table outside and loudly remarked how we took the fries from the bag without paying for the extra food and dont worry, well have to pay for your food ourselves and left. In any other food establishment, once food is handled/eaten on by the wrong customer, it doesnt go back in the bag to the correct customer, nor is the customer suppose to pay for their error. This was a mistake on their end, they didn t acknowledge it and instead was trying to put the blame on the customer; they handled it very unprofessionally. I also question their sanitary practices. Their food is nothing special, all in all, this place is a one and done for me.

It s like the ultimate carnival food stand out into a modernized saloon. They advertise themselves outside as having lots of fried food options, and they don t sell short. They have a lot of carnival food options, as well as American diner classics. The prices are reasonable for the portions. Service is super nice. Menu is way too big to try everything, but it s good quality. Nothing that makes you jump out your seat, but exactly what you want and expect when you order from here. We had fried Oreos with ice cream, as well as the Footlong Corn Dog. Loud indoor and outdoor ambiance, but a fun atmosphere. I came here for the funnel cake! 8 inches of a delicious, sweet lip smacking crave worthy carnival and rodeo favorite! She gave me 2 forks, but I wasnt sharing! I dove in head first and didnt come up till I was ready to nap. Not for nothing, Ill be back to try everything else, but I got my fix and it took no time at all! I SHALL RETURN!

Burger was thick, meaty, and dry. Not sure if we caught them on an off day. Service, prices, and fried food was good.

The staff and Owner of this business is always great and present to speak too. The food is real home made feel and top quality. I suggest trying their Chopped Beef Sandwich. One of my favorite places to eat in Old Town Spring.

Lovely place with really interesting food amd a lot of character! A tourist stop, for sure. They had such a wide variety of fried foods to try as well: fried Oreos, fried pickles, fried reeses, etc. I would definitely recommend going here for a meal if you find yourself in Spring, Texas.

Burger was dry and had ZERO flavor! We ordered the fries with brisket as well and this was just mediocre, brisket tasted prepackaged. I wanted to love this place but it isn t worth spending money on. Cute area though, as it is located in Old Town Spring.
