Don chicken restaurant is amazing (una Chimba). The staff was kind and warm, the food was delicious, the portions had very good size and the passion fruit juice was just the cherry on top for me. The prices were also very good, specially considering that going to a fast food chain restaurant costs as much and sometimes more. If you are looking for authentic Colombian food, this is a must! I ll be coming back every time I m in Spring

I picked up food from Don Chicken and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the rice and chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The meal tasted homemade, with perfectly cooked chicken and flavorful rice. The best part was the super friendly ladies who were there when I picked up my order.

We come here for the delicious authentic Colombian food! The empanadas, the huge portions of platano maduro, the chicken, the pandebonos, and the Colombian tamales! This place has delicious colombian pastries, bunuelos, pandebono, roscon with guava. The empanadas are both delicious. We prefer the beef over the chicken however; theyre both good. The papas rellenas are delicious too. The grilled chicken is also delicious. The arepas, sweet plantains, tostones (green plantains), fried yuca, and papas saladas are yummy too. The bandeja paisa is absolutely delicious. Colombiana and Manzana our are favorite colombian sodas. Everything we have tried here is absolutely delicious! Terrible service, the owner treated me and my family in a terrible way, instead of politely asking us to put on the mask, she started yelling at us and telling us to get out, or else she was going to call the police, I really dont understand. I was parked in front of this restaurant and my car was broken into. They have a camera pointed directly at my car when I asked them to see the footage so they could help me out to find out who did it, the owner proceeded to tell me he was busy and didn t have to time for this. I went back on three different occasions and have still not received the footage. I love my community and love supporting small businesses especially the Pro Nail Salon, Pizza Zone, and That One Bar in that strip center but I will not support this place!!! 0 stars for me!!!

Had a delicious breakfast here, before an appointment at the BPS (DMV). My mom had eggs with a very well-seasoned steak, I had cheese arepas. The green hot sauce was everything. We were offered a sample of the traditional cheese bread which was really tasty. My brother-in-law, who is Colombian, introduced me to this eatery. The food here is yummy and the customer service feels as though I m home with family and friends.

Just had a wonderful, authentic Columbian meal at Don Chicken. The wood fired pollo asada was flavored perfectly, tender and served with an amazing creamy cilantro salsa. Rice and beans were simple yet satisfying. Loved the plantains too! Left with some bread pudding to go! The owners are delightful and so warm and friendly. Go check em out. Your tummy will thank you! We will happily make the drive from Cypress to come back.
