Great coffee, nice atmosphere. I drink coffee because I enjoy it, not for the caffeine so I appreciate when a coffee house can whip me up a decaf espresso or latte. Also, I like that the amount of coffee seems to vary depending on your order. Some coffee shops will give you a double shot in your medium and your large but just vary the milk - Im not 100% sure, but that did NOT seem to be the case here. I also like that the coffee options are hot, cold and blended. Nice that you can get a blended coffee in any flavor when youd like it. A little pricey, even for coffee, but not so much it would prevent me from returning or from deducting a star. Great place, great coffee. Parking: Plenty of parking

Black Rock is my go-to spot for great coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. As a regular, I always appreciate the friendly faces, especially Isaiah, who consistently provides excellent service with a smile. The drinks are always top-notch, and the staff go out of their way to make every visit a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

I visited Black Rock for the first time today (09/13/24) and was not familiar with their coffees at all. I spent a few minutes explaining what I like to the sweet young lady at the register and she crafted the perfect latte for me. I wish I had asked her name (I typically do) so I could mention her here because she was so helpful and patient while we worked it out. My coffee was great and the experience was even better thanks to her. I will return to this location in the future. Dietary restrictions: The young lady asked me if I would like any alternative milks like coconut or almond.

I came here everyday since this place open but it is not the same like it used to. The drive thru wait time is extremely long, I timed it my last visit was like over 15 min. The staffs were nice but my gosh the restrooms are dirty like literally I afraid to using it.

Placed an online order showed up and they didn t even start my order. The ran out of donut holes and had nothing we wanted to substitute it with so we asked for a refund. The girl said she couldn t cancel it on her end that we had to do it on our end. There was no way of canceling on my end. Then she said she canceled it. (Hopefully I get my money refunded back to me. I waited for my drink to be made and they gave other peoples theirs after I placed mine. Finally got it and my hot coffee was no hot at all. Not even lukewarm warm. Horrible customer service!! This was our second time coming and the first time we waited for a long time and the coffee wasn t that great. Definitely won t be back.

UPDATE: changed rating again. This place is going downhill. The breakfast options are constantly changing for the worse. Now instead of a danish or a croissant, your option is a bagged burrito that looks like it was purchased from a gas station the day before. UPDATE: changing my rating. This place is always so understaffed and they run out of breakfast by 8:30 most days. Great coffee. Much better alternative to the big green giant. Awesome atmosphere. Happy to have them in my neighborhood.

Hope they get more people on staff. We went there on a weekday and our barista was by herself working the store and drive thru. The coffee was good but not what we wanted. Ended up leaving because the poor girl was swamped. That being said, we really like their coffees and the atmosphere. Still recommend going there!

I love the coffee here the Caramel Blondie is amazing honestly better than Starbucks. The blended drinks are awesome. I love how every employee there is always nice and smiling. I get some days maybe crazier especially in the evenings when there is always only one employee working. I think there should be more than 1 especially when it s young girls working this world is not safe. Some people seem to take their coffee a bit too serious we should be nicer and more patient with these employees. Love the restaurant, especially since they play some awesome music and you can just enjoy your time there. If you haven t tried it please do.

This Black Rock has been my go-to coffee shop to get my favorite drinks and to study. The atmosphere is bright and inviting. I don t do this often, but I want to give a HUGE shout-out to Braylon for being the reason I keep coming back. His energy and smile is contagious and he has the BEST customer service. He always makes my experience better.

I came to Black Rock for the first time and tried to order a blended coffee. I was told that since it was close to closing time (20 mins till 7) they had already shut down their blending machines, but I could order something else. I ended up going back to Starbucks lol.

The only reason for a 4-star review is the staff leaving open the garage door for a long period of time. It got increasingly hot and I had to leave early as time went on. Please only do this in the morning when summer creeps around. :) Staff was very prompt and service exemplary! Can get busy if one person is working, but wait time isn t too long.

Just left the drive thru a gentleman with glasses greeted me with the kindest biggest smile. There was a small mistake with my order but a brunette woman handled it with a very friendly personality. This service made me pull over and leave a good review. Mexican mocha is also delicious.

I ve gone a couple of times now (drive thru and dine in) and ordered a latte both times. The staff were lively and had a positive attitude, which isn t always a given these days. During the second visit, the in store staff member realized she had mistakenly given me whole milk rather than oat, and quickly & kindly replaced it with the correct order. If you go in the PM after a certain time (not sure the range), you get half off drinks. I was there for a meeting and that was a nice surprise. Edit: Third visit. Standing at the counter for 5 mins and no one is here to get my order.

Have been here three times and was in love with this coffee and this place! Five stars easy. Made a FB post, twice, telling people to go. The girls were super friendly, gave my dog a pup cup each time without me asking, coffee tasted very good! GF pastries, outstanding..when they were available But today, Sunday Feb 25, 3pm, all of that changed. Dark haired girl at the window was not even a little friendly. The coffee she made, let s just say I can t drink it all. Yuck. It s the same one I ve gotten each time. Saw my dogs and didn t even consider a pup cup. STARK difference than the other three girls that have helped me in the drive thru. If that is what happens when my friends go, they are going to think I m a liar. What a disappointment since I went out of my way to get there. She lost you two stars

Limited options but still a wait longer than Starbucks. It was okay, just not what I was expecting for a coffee bar. With the limited menu, I thought the service would be fast, but it wasnt. Id say 15 minutes total in the drive thru with 2.or 3 cars ahead of us, so perhaps the order wasnt started until we got to the window. They are new, so Ill probably give them another try to see if they get get the kinks worked out.

I am a HUGE coffee lover I love to try new coffee spots & decided to stop here a few weeks ago needing an evening pick me up. There was a younger Asian girl working the window (I didn t get her name) but her customer service was phenomenal! I got a caramel blondie and an almond croissant both were amazing! I wish I had one closer to home so I could come more often.

Worst experience ever! I frequent one of the other black rocks in the area and order the same drink every time. A fuel with no ice, I just don t like ice in my cold beverages and I know they don t fill it up all the way and I m totally fine with that. The manager Braylon handed me a cup with just the flavor no fuel literally pumps of strawberry! Said he couldn t give me my drink without ice. Ok so I told him to make it normally and I would pour my drink into a different cup. He wouldn t give me another cup and also wanted to charge me for another drink. How does that make since?I just wanted a cup to pour the drink into so I could take out the ice! I wasn t asking them to fill it up just a cup, he continued to say he would have to charge me for another drink. I will not go back to this store and would like to comment how their customer service was awful. I didn t ask to have the drink remade or even anything crazy. Braylon needs to learn a little bit more kindness and customer service

I love the flavored energy drinks, but lately it s been understaffed, it wasn t even opening yesterday in the morning. I drive out of my way every morning to go here, but have to find a new place to go if this is how management runs the store. Poor girl was by herself with the longest line. Your employees are amazing, but this is more of a message to the owner or manager to figure out how to help your staff or you will lose the good ones.

I am a regular. The coffee gere is great if I go to Starbucks now It does not taste the same. I love that they can have the longest line and will still get the line moving super fast. Gluten free and dairy free pastries are a huge plus for me.

Ok. This is for the location near my house on champion forest drive. I love black rock when they re at their best, but the last couple of times I seem to have caught them on two bad days. I don t know why but there has been so much inconsistency and quality control when it comes to their drinks. I ve had them correct my orders the last two times now. They don t even notice when they hand me a luke warm drink (iced americano) because all the ice has melted down before it gets through the window. They don t even offer to remake it instead they just dump some coffee out and add ice. I m a barista and I m sorry but that isn t how you make espresso drinks. You remake it and use more ice and less water as to not dilute the espresso. There is a young man and blonde curly haired woman there most days and I wish I knew their names because they make the best drinks! The rest of the employees don t seem to be quite as on top of the game though and if this keeps happening sadly I m going to have to return to Dutch bros.

This place just opened and between myself, husband and teenagers we have spent a ton of money here..being in the neighborhood is so convenient. The coffees and teas are fantastic. But I have never been treated ugly till today. The dark haired girl in the drive through window was so rude, even rolled her eyes and made a face because I explained the drink I ordered wasn t supposed to have whipped cream because it was for my diabetic husband and so that made me second guess if they made the drink with sugar free syrup. It was a valid question and she was so upset. I will go back to Starbucks

Opening week review: staff was helpful, friendly. I enjoyed both the hot and iced coffee. No burnt tasting coffee. Upcharge on the oatmilk in line with other places but still ridiculous. Inside was loud when I stopped in, so probably not a great place to work if they are busy. Nice addition to the area.
