Had some drinks after work and let me tell you, I had, by far the absolute best time there! I had a new as she said it, server, Gabby or Gabrielle idk but if yall go, sit in the hot brunettes section! She totally brightened my day. I have never had a server be so personable, friendly and sincere! I will definitely be going back! With the horrible day I had, I truly believe there are souls put on this earth to cheer you up and get you in that lets go party, girl mode. So if you see this, I sincerely thank you and sorry for the lower that 20% tip. My dead beat BD hasnt paid his child support in 2yrs

the big yard is awesome for watching sports. my favorite menu item is the pretzel, and the wings. i always get half bbq/ half buffalo sauce, and the sauces they use are sooooo good! i asked, and they are made by a local company called freelance foods, i even ordered some of the sauces on amazon! Slim was behind the bar, & shes an absolute gem. ill be back for the wings & Slim!

What a Show! Everything was great ! Talk about spot on ! Big fun place for the family . Outdoor area with huge TV to watch your fav game. Chairs umbrellas, corn hole ect . Nice patio area as well. The inside has nice big tables , kind of to close together for my liking. The staff was very friendly and definitely attentive. Food was delicious, delivered fast and hot. Prices are fair for what ya get. The place was packed and they handled it all. It was packed for an Astros game and a GREAT band, Daniel Holmes rocked the icehouse. Great place for live music. This was my first time here. Its exactly what I expected. The food was good and it had a calm atmosphere. It was packed while the band was playing, but a lot of people cleared out when the show ended. This is a good place to come to if youre stuck with the kids but youre still looking to have a few beers and a decent dinner. If youre looking for a place to turn up, look elsewhere. The crowd was really docile and most were between the ages of 30-55. Between my wife and I, for 3 beers each and a shared 10 piece wing, we spent $75. That seemed a little pricey to me. We will not be back

The food quality is much better than a lot of sports bars. Been here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. Good craft beer selection for those like myself who look for that. Only negative is that waitresses spend too much time on their phones when they should be checking on their tables. Sat with an empty beer cup for over 5 minutes before she checked back on us. Only reason she came back was another table came in next to us. We were sitting close to the bar and noticed that ours was not the only one. Guess its this generation. We will be back because the overall experience and the food is really good.

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star in order to be able to type my review otherwise it wouldn t even get that. My wife and I have been wanting to visit and try this venue for some time and eventually did. Let me be honest you can t complain about the service because there is none. The woman behind the bar didn t even greet us upon taking our order. It looked like it was an inconvenience for her to have to deal with us so We went to sit at a table and noted one waitress serving tables and another 2 or 3 with uniforms on standing at the end of the bar socializing with what I assume was a patron. We opted to leave as this was such a dismal display of putting customers and customer service first. People seem to forget that without customers you have no business or paycheck. Will never waste our time on recommending this venue to anyone ever. UPDATE: Had a phone conversation with Eric and he seemed sincerely concerned about our experience. It was really nice and refreshing to speak to a manager/owner who actually cares and takes patron s experiences and uses them to better their business. Thank you Eric.

This place has a nice atmosphere. Plenty of space, indoor seating as well as outdoor. This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. Plenty of cold beer on tap service was very good, we never had to find wait staff for a drink. They would come anywhere from 1-3 times between drinks so we were never looking for them. They were always around. Their food looked good. I personally did not eat any but my buddies did and said it tastes great. They had Baja tacos, pork carnita tacos, and chicken tenders. It all looked and smelled amazing. They said it tastes great.

My wife and I went there to see Buckcherry and Saliva. Since the owners have taken this place over from Papas, they have seen the potential of the property. The owners have great management skills, a great staff and great service. They packed in 1700 people for this concert and handled the whole event in a professional and friendly manner. This is our second visit and the staff has been just as professional and friendly. This is a great bar and concert venue.

Usually we have no problems here outside of some slow service. However we were there for a concert and despite having at least 6 additional service stations open the lines were still 30 minutes minimum to even get a bottle of water.

Was told there was a bunch to-do well there is nothing to do other than wait for a total of 60 minutes for food. Got here at 12:30 and it is now 1:37 and i dont have nothin. AND THE UMBRELLAS ARE TILTED SO ONLY HALF OF THE TABLE GETS SHADE. i just finished an intense cross country meet, and im actually STARVING--like about to cry. I WANT FOOD. I am currently STILL WAITING for my food after being here for almost 2 hours. The waitress side-eyed me as she strutted past me with a chicken tender basket for the table that ordered YEARS AFTER US. The wind blew my food away. Unacceptable!!! I heard a faint buzzing that I JUST KNOW was an evil flesh eating fly from Africa. I didnt see it but trust me I could tell. I bet they purposely brought them here to eat paying customers. I knocked my Dr. Pepper on my food and it made my fries soggy. Thats just RIDICULOUS. All fries should be Dr. Pepper proof i just dont understand. I dont like how the grass sounds when my feet move on it. I think it might be fake but i dont know. Also there were other people in the establishment. ñThey were everywhere. In the stalls of the bathroom, at the tables, watching the jumbo baseball tv (that, no surprise, doesnt include audio). Also my food has gotten considerably less interesting to lloookimy specific taste pallet. Now you may be wondering, why is this review so long? Its because I am being FORCED to wait this long, by the inconsiderate staff. overall 10/10 restaurant new family favorite amazing staff amazing food!

I love that place. No fancy stuff, just good food and good drinks at a decent price and a broad range of live acts. Maybe not the best for vegetarians (if that s important for you) but definitely a vibrant place worth visiting a few times

The food here is great! The service is literally non-existent. My party of 3 sat outside on the patio and the 2 servers that were working that area proceeded to ignore us for the next several hours. We watched as every other party around us sat down and got immediately taken care of. I could only assume that each server thought we had been taken care of by the other server, so at one point we flagged down one of the girls to try to put our order in and she looked at us like we were serial killers and ran away. Thats right, she ran away and then moments later came back to check on every table surrounding us. She never came back to see what we needed. It was disgusting. Ive never had such horrible service. I cant even call it service actually since WE WERE NEVER SERVED. I hope that the manager reads this- the 2 girls that were working the front patio on July 5th are horrible!!! Even though the food was wonderful Ill probably never return to this establishment because Im so disgusted. You have completely clueless idiots working for you!

Update 6/28/2024. What a Horrible night. Service was horrible. Food was worse What a great night. Had not been out here since it was a Papas Ice House before all the problems. This place, Sawyer Park Icehouse makes you forget there as anything else ever there. I mistakenly and unknowingly went on a UFC fight night and the place was packed. I mean packed. I found an open table the only one left near the bathrooms. My server walked past me numerous times without even acknowledging me. I could have forgiven it since it was so busy but she stopped at the tables around me just to check on them and didnt get any extra orders. Thankfully some friends had some tables reserved outside that I wasnt aware of and once I went put there the server was amazing especially as the night went on and the crowd seemed to get bigger. She was busy but kept up great. I had the brisket nacho basket and it was phenomenal. So good. Cant wait to try other items off their menu. Go check them out. See what ya think.
