This is a pretty decent upscale Italian restaurant in the Southlake region. Atmosphere is beautiful and special mention to its patio seating which compliments the place. Service is impeccable. However, we only had couple of items at this place as we were just stopping by but even then it was a positive experience. Kellymaar is as our attendant who did her job outstandingly. The food we ordered came in fresh and definitely can be rated very highly. We ordered the following and they were really very delicious: Bruschetta Sampler - $19.99 Sausage Pepperoni FlatBread - $16.99 The prices at this place are pretty reasonable and is not that of an upscale restaurant, which is again a very positive aspect. I however unfortunately rate this place 4/5 because I faced a considerable amount of delay in getting my food served. Not pointing out anyone s mistake but the delay was quite noticeable. But I definitely will come back to this place and can surely rate them 5 the next time.

First time here and was a bit pricey, so was glad it was a work lunch. We got the calamari, and I always love the long tentacles, and was sad they were overcooked/rubbery. Lasagna was ok, just not a meat flavor in it as the ricotta overpowered the taste.

We have eaten at Brio a few times over the last few months and every time was memorable and delicious. The carpaccio is a request from my children, I love that they have stuffed olives for the dirty martinis, weve had different menu items each visit and always happy with the flavor combinations. And dont even get me started on the desserts! Yumm

Have been a frequent visitor of Brio but that will change. Had a very horrible experience as I had several guest with me at a Friday night happy hour. The Manager did not want us at the bar as we were to many people (finally allowed us to sit). He made a scene when additional guest arrived. We proceeded to close our tab and proceed to another venue.

Bread is sourdough and to me was tough on the outside. Butter is cold/hard, not my favorite. Not terrible but Ive definitely had better. We love bruschetta so we ordered it the only way you can order it is to get the sampler which was 20 bucks for 6 pieces of bread with tomato and chesse . Way over priced in my opinion. The 2 entrées we got we very mediocre. The lemone chicken was weird, had a lot of tendon in it. The server we had was so slow and had super strong perfume on. Overall would not return.

This was our first time at Brio, so we tried quite a few menu items so that we could sample several dishes in one visit. Everything was incredible! The beef carpaccio was fantastic, as was the spinach and artichoke dip with parmesan crisps! I honestly cant remember the last time we had such a wonderful dinner! The bruschetta sampler was absolutely delicious as well, but the standout had to be the gorgonzola lamb chops! The service was impeccable, our server Caesar was amazing and quite personable! We got a visit from the manager Ulo as well to make sure everything was going great, and it was. Ulo offered suggestions to our tasting menu and everything he suggested was fantastic! We had coffee and cappuccino along with a shared tiramisu for dessert, which was also great as well! Parking: There is a free parking garage about 1 minute walk from Brio, so if there isnt a street spot available right there, it is very easy to find a spot literally right around the corner.

I think this is a pretty good upscale Italian spot. The service was impeccable! The food seemed very good from the variety ordered at our table. The salads are generous in size and excellently constructed. The flatbreads arent to my particular style of liking but crispy and well flavored. Didnt care too much for the spaghetti. I had the salmon dish and it was excellent. Everything was fresh and cooked well, and it was aesthetically plated. The only downside is that there isnt a required dress code so dont expect too high class in the atmosphere. Also, it was quite loud with all the commotion from tables. A tad bit pricey but not incomparable to other upscale Italian spots. I would dine here again! Great location Parking: Multiple areas to find parking but you may need to walk a short distance from another larger lot or the parking garage.

I had to enjoy Italian food around people with flip flops on. The dress code should make the food quality. A beautiful eatery that allows casual attire. Black approved

I recently visited Brio Italian and enjoyed the food, which was quite good. However, the wine selection was notably limited. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, and the staff were friendly, although service was slightly slow, likely due to our server managing many tables. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brio Italian Grille, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making me feel welcomed and at home. Now, onto the star of the show: the Gorgonzola Cream Campanelle. It was a culinary masterpiece, each bite bursting with flavor and delight. The creamy Gorgonzola sauce was perfectly balanced, neither too overpowering nor too subtle, just the right amount of tanginess and creaminess. The campanelle pasta was cooked to perfection, providing the ideal canvas for the decadent sauce to shine. Every forkful was a delight to the senses, leaving me craving more even after the last bite. In addition to the exceptional food, the ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience. The cozy yet elegant decor created the perfect setting for a memorable meal, whether its a romantic dinner for two or a gathering with friends and family. Overall, my experience at Brio Italian Grille exceeded all expectations. The Gorgonzola Cream Campanelle was a true standout dish, showcasing the culinary expertise and passion of the chefs. I highly recommend Brio Italian Grille to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Five stars all around! Kid-friendliness: They accommodate our 10 month old baby

This place is definitely a step up from TCF next door that I ve been enjoying for a long time. You can definitely expect longer time during dinner for wait staffs to get to you, but the food came out in a timely manner. I wish for the price I paid, the Pasta Abbondante- Shrimp & Lobster Fettuccini would be bigger and with more than 4 tiny pieces of lobster that is priced at $37.

I have dined here four times. The first time was over a year ago. I wasnt wowed by the chicken Marsala but overall good enough to return. My second time, I ordered the lasagna. Olive garden had been my favorite until Brio. My waiter in the bar area had Covid but was friendly. My third time, I ordered the lobster bisque and spaghetti for lunch. I loved the lobster bisque. I like my spaghetti with a lot of sauce so I wont order that again. Nothing special about it. The last time I ordered my server acted afraid of me or something. Not very good service and the pasta brio sounds better than it was. TGIF used to serve a similar dish but better. Bread and butter is a really good start when it isnt cold or overbaked. Ill come back.

The food and atmosphere are excellent. We were not disappointed. If I could offer any constructive criticism, it would be customer service. The host seemed very distracted. The waiter seemed a little annoyed, and the manager came to all the tables except for ours. We came for an early dinner without reservations. There were lots of tables open and only a few customers. So it wasnt like they were busy. With that said, we still would come back. Its not like they were rude, just not 100% friendly. Again, the food and atmosphere are excellent.

I rarely give bad reviews because I m a business owner and I know what a bad review can do to us and I know the world is now full of unreasonable people. But today I had it. Mind you this is not my first time there, food is okay, you d not be able to tell the difference from them to Cheesecake Factory. They lack on customer service since most of them are arrogant but I usually go there for the atmosphere. Today I was having the most horrible migraine, had a doctors appointment and decided to order for pickup. When I got there the hostess directed me to designated pickup area. She followed me and asked if I was a delivery person and I said, no the food was for me. Then she proceed to look at me up and down and asked for my ID even thought I told her my name 3 times. How was I dressed? Decent enough for a pickup but with a messy hair due to my migraine. She didn t even bother to look on the bags and told me my order was not ready and walked away. I patiently waited until a guy with a beard and white apron came up and asked for my name, he grabbed my bag within seconds since it was sitting there the whole time. When I mentioned to him my order was there and she didn t even bother to look his answer was don t give me that attitude, she is the hostess and work in the front I was in shock for the whole situation and started walking away, he looked at me with disdain and kept saying things to me. I don t need to be lectured nor to be judged. All I wanted was something for my family to eat. I left the place feeling sicker and was unable to eat the food. I felt disrespected and humiliated for no reason. I m assuming business is doing so great for them to the point they feel entitled to be this arrogant and dismissive to customers. Please, be better. Don t judge a book by its covers

We came to eat at this restaurant because of the atmosphere & reviews, mind you I had just gotten off of work and of course I did not look the part (I was extremely exhausted!) The service was completely terrible - we waiting 15 mins after being seated & it was not busy at alll - we were never offered not even a glass of water or attended too. Would I come back? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! I guess they thought me & my party did not have money to spend & we were discriminated against. I would recommend that no one come here that just gets off work & trys to spend their hard earned money at this location! COMPLETELY PITIFUL!!!

We ve been going to Brio for quite a few years and it s usually the first choice for us at Southlake. This evening we went in, were seated immediately as they were just marginally busy, and waited. We waited while the apparent floor manager walked by, we waited as the busboy worked nearby, and we waited while a waiter finally came to the table behind us who had their food to see if all was ok. Not once did any of the above even look at us. The waiter was standing immediately at my shoulder and never turned around. No water or other beverage was offered. No menu offered, no acknowledgement from anybody whatsoever. We got up and left and the lady at the front, who had seated us says have a nice evening not even recognizing she had just seated us. We aren t typically prone to posting reviews or expecting to be overwhelmed with love and gratitude, but Brio, after many years is no longer on our list of restaurants. If I were their manager I would fire every one of them and look for a new job. It was really quite unbelievable how invisible we were

Spent time with some of my family on Christmas Day at Brio- we never have gone out on Christmas before, and were a little concerned about how the staff would feel working during the holiday... they were incredible!! Every reservation for the day was full by the time we arrived (we scheduled our reservation when they opened for a 3:30 seating), and it was a packed house. The staff was absolutely on top of it, and many were dressed in a festive theme. Everyone was wonderfully courteous, and seemed happy and excited to be serving people that day. Our food was excellent, and arrived quite quickly. Suggestions from our server helped us navigate the menu, our minor accommodations were easily met. Our server was on top of it all, keeping my pregnant daughter s water glass topped off at all times. The other guests around us were quite friendly, and many of them were dressed in fun Christmas outfits as well. I am glad to have learned that there are Brios in Florida, because I will certainly be happy to check them out as well. This experience really made us enjoy our first time dining on Christmas. Well done!!

They werent crowded, but it was a rather odd hour (around 3:30 or 4:00), so the delay might have been due to shift changes. Our waiter was Cody, and he was phenomenal and a delight. I had Chicken Caprese, and my husband had Sausage Rigatoni Arabiatta (the latter being spicier than the mild description in the menu but still delicious). We enjoyed the food and great service. We plan to return soon.

truly one of the worst places Ive eaten at in Southlake. service was amazingly slow, and the atmosphere so loud you could hardly hear the person across the table from you. All four of our partys food came out cool, likely due to the lack of service. Had to wait 20 minutes for our waiter to come back to get the bill so we could clear out. Id not suggest this place to my worst enemy.

Not sure what has happened with Brio....We used to go once a week Went last night for happy hour, several people but bar not crowed. Asked for water with lemon...no lemons. Asked again later. We both ordered the wedge salad to start, which used to be amazing! They both came out with a teeny tiny bit of dressing for this huge wedge and no lie we counted....2 little morsels of bacon. Very stingy and disappointing. Other than that, the food was fresh tasting. We both had to request extra dressing and my friend decided to request extra bacon and the waiter said he would have to charge extra for it. Waiter never came back to offer another drink or fill water even though my friends drink sat empty for about 20 min. That is really frustrating during a happy hour when they come back AFTER its over. Again, they have food runners so we watched the waiter and he was not that busy. I dislike it when the server has zero personality until they bring the check and then are friendly or helpful. Ending on a positive.....the brio burger was very tasty and cooked perfectly!! However, I wont be going back very soon due to the service.

The food I ordered had a hair in it. I talked to the waitress she apologized and I asked for replacement. The second dish also had a hair in it and one of the people working there(management ) tried to convince me that it was part of the mushroom?! Really? It was a hair for sure. I wished they handled the situation better. I canceled the dish but it affected my experience and did not enjoy the meal. The waitress of our table was great though and did all she could do.

My family and I decided to go here on Sunday, November 5, 2023 for an after church brunch. They sat eight people and a baby at two tables, which didnt leave much room for us to eat especially with the large pasta plates, they also only brought out two bread baskets for eight adults. While waiting for our drinks, there was a birthday group of about 20, 16 year old girls that for whatever reason was sat in the main dining area. They screamed and yelled throughout their entire meal. We kindly asked our waitress if something could be said to them about the screaming. She left, came back and informed us that her manager said nothing could be done, not even speaking to the adult that was with them. That is a horrible policy and on that alone Id never return, Im paying to enjoy my meal in a nice atmosphere as well. After that our waitress seemed to be rushing us along, as if we were the issue. On the positive side everyone enjoyed their food. I had the Chicken Milanese and it was delicious, crispy fully cooked chicken, very flavorful sauce and perfectly cooked noodles. I also ordered a side of Mashed potatoes, but they were served luke warm/cold. Overall I wouldnt return just because I dont know what the atmosphere will be like and I dont want to be subjected to a bunch of children screaming like its a pep rally, Id go to Olive Garden for that and pay way less.

Wonderful food. Affordable price and a beautiful environment from which we can choose to eat inside or outside the restaurant. The salmon and asparagus dish is one of the best Ive ever eaten. I recommend it and I will come back more often, it is in front of a very charming square. Great atmosphere for a business dinner or celebrating with friends.

Great Italian themed restaurant. The Gorgonzola Crusted Beef Medallions are by far the best thing on the menu. While it can be a little loud in the restaurant it s still a nice place to eat. My wife and I come here about every month. We love the area and the shops make it perfect for strolling around after dinner. Parking: There are multiple parking garages. Parking is never a problem on this area. Kid-friendliness: It s kid friendly however noisy kids really need to stay home. Plenty of nice dinners have been ruined for my wife and I from the undisciplined children screaming and making noise.

The food is good but sometimes the service can be terrible. Today was like that. We asked the hostess while we waited for a table if she could help us heat up our baby s milk 20 mins passed and even though the baby was already crying she wouldn t do it because she was too busy . Not a place for people with babies.

We chanced upon this place and loved it. Husband had the chops and I had the truffle ravioli. We tried the bruschetta sampler(veg) it was nice and so was the tiramisu. Our server was great for the amount of rush in the restaurant. The only thing I did not like is that the butter served with warm break was cold :( room temperature would be nice to get in extra carbs :)

Went to Brio for lunch and was very disappointed. We have dined at the restaurant many times and had good meals, but this time it was awful. Salad lettuce was brown for starters. I had Chicken Milanese and it was just big pile of tasteless spaghetti with a tiny overcooked piece of chicken. My wifes dish was good but was again not seasoned well. Overall service was ok but not great and for $70 lunch one of the worst we have had in a long time.

Weve been going to Brio for awhile now. Food is still good and our server was good. But found that the restaurant is getting old, and staff were really loud dragging chairs around while getting ready for large table. It was a busy evening and was pretty loud. Lobster Bisque, Carpaccio, and calamari were still good.

For so many years the Brio has been among my most favorites; however the last few times Ive been, the indoor bar staff is just not attentive to clients at the bar, focused on the wait staff orders. Ill sit with an empty glass of wine for 20 minutes and they never come by to see if Id like another glass. I eat at the bar as well and last night, I had 3/4 of my lasagna left, almost & almost all of my side salad and asparagus left. I asked for to-go containers and he brings me one container. Seriously, I want to mix all of this together in one small paper container? No common sense at the bar any more. The restaurant wasnt even that busy, nor the bar. When they were free, they never looked around the bar area to see if customers needed anything. Customers I sat next to agreed and said many of their friends are saying the same thing. In addition, wine prices are through the roof. For example, a Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc is $42 a bottle ($14 at Costco) and not even offered by the glass at all. Makes no sense in my opinion. Lastly, the Chinese take out containers are awful, maybe great for Chinese food, but not for Italian. Unfortunately, last night will be my last visit until this restaurant addresses changes.
