This place is very unprofessional and switch personnel and lawyers constantly and have different people working on your case and they do not communicate with their clients. Leslie that works there is by far unprofessional and doesnt care about her clients But they are very quick to send you a bill. Stay away from this place. Wrost law firm in the Dallas area!!!

This law office is awful. I have spent thousands of dollars so far on a what should be simple case and NOTHING has been done yet. I started this process about 8 months ago and we still have not gotten any where and nobody ever returns calls. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS ATTORNEY!!!! The attorney replied to this original post and said this was a false allegation. I have proof and cell phone receipts with my phone calls and correspondences never getting returned. All I wanted was my 2nd retainer fee refunded since they never made any progress with the FIRST retainer fee. They agreed to give me a refund when I called saying I have another office handling this matter and then switched it up within two minutes. This office is unprofessional and I do not recommend them to anyone unless you want to throw some money away.

The Barrows Firm prepared my will and other estate planning documents, and I am glad I called them. I wasnt sure of all the legal documents I needed to ensure that my children would receive my property if/when I pass, and The Barrows Firm outlined in detail in laymans terms what I needed. They made the process simple and handled all of the paperwork. I recommend The Barrows Firm 100 percent.

After 18 months of going back and forth for custody for our 3 yr old son Tyler we now have him with family. Leslie fought for my husbands rights as a father while he was incarcerated helping us make sure he stayed with family which was not so easy as we are from California and our family is there. She gave solid legal advice and helped guide not only us but our family on how to get an Interstate Compact successfully completed and went above and beyond to help us not loose our child to the system. She never missed one court date which is more than I can say for my attorney who never responded to any of my emails or phone calls. If you ever need anyone to represent you she is very professional and honest. Thank you Leslie from the bottom of our hearts. We have a chance to be the parents we almost lost the chance to be.

* I wanted to edit my earlier review to add that bio mom has officially terminated her rights and we will be proceeding with a step parent adoption. I am in awe of everything Ms. Barrows has worked to accomplish for us. She has worked tirelessly to get us to this point. Everything we were told we couldn t do, she has accomplished. The best part for me is what my son told me once the termination was official. He sighed a breathe of relief and said he is so happy he never has to worry about bio mom coming into his life and making it a mess again. It s not what she did just for us. She gave peace to our son and that means the world to us. Thank you again, Leslie. Truly. You re a God send. Original review- Our case was finalized close to a year ago, but I needed to leave a review so others know how incredibly effective and talented this firm is what they do. My husbands insurance allowed for us to have free legal consultations, so we must have met with about 10 attorneys before finding Leslie Barrows. Every attorney we met with for our child custody case told us we could not get sole custody because it would be 50/50, regardless of how much thorough documentation we had to prove that it was not in the best interest of my step son. Leslie, and her team fought so hard for us! This was a case that was transferred from Michigan to begin with, so they helped us get proper jurisdiction in Texas. It was an incredibly stressful time in our lives, but the Barrows firm worked with us every step of the way. They took the time to explain everything to us, and reassured us when we were anxious about the process. They treated us like people, not just another number. I cannot thank them enough. Here we are, a year later, with sole custody, and the mother voluntarily relinquishing her rights. Everything that everyone else told us we couldnt do, they did. We are eternally grateful to them because of their hard work and dedication, my step son wont grow up in a toxic environment. I highly recommend Leslie Barrows, and her team.

Dont use these people for tickets. Its a rip off. I used them in 2010 for a speeding ticket & for $45 they took care of it, no problems. Fast forward to Sept 2012 and wanted to use them again. I was charged $127, 3 times the previous amount but I thought it was still cheaper than a tickets so why not? I said specifically once I pay you, this will just disappear right? I was told under no uncertain terms yes. A week later I was told the court decided to settle doe $166.00. Settle? The original fine was roughly that amount. This is after I paid them the $127.00. The person I talked to would not hear what I had to say & I was hung up on. Because of the dishonesty & arrogance from this firm I will have to give it the worst rating. Ive dealt with many firms over the years to handle these matters but this is the first time Ive ever been dealt with dishonestly or rudely.
