Weve been coming here since Glorias opened up at the Woodlands location. Food is delicious, service is excellent and the staff is great. In particular, the bar Manager Andy Sanchez who always makes it a pleasant experience for us. Keep hiring more people like Andy, who are the face of the business and make an excellent experience for visitors. He keeps us coming back for more, recommends great food options and drinks. Keep up the excellent work.

I seriously HATE writing a negative review for here because I think the location is beautiful, the food is wonderful. But the service here is HORRIBLE. I am one to never complain, as someone that works in customer service myself I never want to be that guys . But we ve now had 2 to-go orders be wrong, the first time we just lived with it and didn t want to make a fuss cause we called in a totally understand that in a loud restaurant in can be hard to hear customers. This second time my husband went in person, asked for the sopa de pollo, fajita chille relleno and an order for fajita quesadillas. We got tortilla soup, and an order of fajitas, but the beef quesadillas were correct. We called back to let them know it was incorrect and the person on the phone was super argumentative saying there was no soup that had rice and vegetables, saying the soup was correct. Then changed the story and said that the woman that placed our order asked if we wanted to tortillas and we said yes so that s why we got the wrong soup. Uhhh??? We got a whole lecture on the phone vs getting any kind of remedy until we insisted we bring it back for a trade out. I dined here in person earlier this week as well for a work lunch and had probably one of the worst waitresses I ve ever had. My colleague ordered a sprite, it came and just was soda water so we re going to inform them. The waitress came up and was like how s your sprite?? And we let them know actually I think the machine might be off because it is just soda water. She then took it and said be right back she never came back with a replacement. When she passed by I asked if we could get that sprite and she says oh ya we don t have sprite . Also a uhhh???? I want to love it here, and like I mentioned the food is great (when correct) and it s a beautiful buildout but gosh the service really needs work. Like desperately needs work. I was so so excited when I heard Gloria s was opening across the highway from me and have been so excited for it to open. I ve been here a ton since they opened and the first month the service was great, but since then it s been horrible and feels stressful every time you go because you know it s going to be a struggle to get what you want, or have someone clearly communicate with you.

First time visiting this place and had great expectations, however that was not the case, bartender (could have been a barback) greeted me as if I was a bother to her, did not look happy to be there at all, after placing my order for my appetizer which was the ceviche trio was informed there would not be any octopus in it, as there was supposed to be, had to ask for drink refill again from the bartender that looked as I was a bother, when my carne asada arrived it tasted like caramelized sugar not like grilled char skirt steak and the chimichurri tasted like pure olive oil, I had to send the item back, was not good, I was completely done with the experience. On a positive note the prices are reasonable however the food is not great!

I have been to Gloria s Latin Cuisine several times since they opened. The service is fantastic , the food is delicious, and the drinks are always great. Man where do I start? My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and we decided to come here after experiencing horrible service next door at Mia s. The hostess ladies were welcoming and kind the waiter named Chris was welcoming and kind, he gave us his recommendations as first timers there at restaurant, made sure the food was to our liking and that our drinks were filled another lady asked if we d like more chips and salsa honestly you don t get this type of excellent service anymore. Everyone was working with a smile on their face the entire time and was just waiting to service the customers . PLEASE STAY LIKE THIS, other restaurants really should take notes

We were looking to try something new on a Sunday evening and this was perfect. There was no wait to be seated. The place is really lovely. Stylish, with good lighting and well-defined areas. Servers were friendly and quick to assist and even anticipate our needs. Portions were surprisingly large, so we didn t mind having to put some of it to take home. Tamales made a great breakfast the next day. We didn t make it to dessert but we will certainly come back and try more things on their menu. Our only suggestion is about music, it seemed like the same kind of music was playing over and over. Variety is key.

In a sea of Tex-Mex restaurants, Gloria s is a real jewel of a restaurant. The atmosphere is entirely different, a much more up scale vibe but with prices being competitive to Mexican restaurants traditional Latin cuisine sits beside more local Tex-Mex options, but the flavors here are very different and so good! Also portions aren t over the top, attention. Is put into plating. I can t wait to go back

We went to Gloria s on Friday, we understand that we were a big party, that Fridays are a busy day, but we waited for 1.30hr and we only got seated because we had to go talk to one of the managers. The hostess was waiting for the people at a big table to get up, which they did not end up leaving until after 10, and instead of trying to find other spaces available or asking her managers for help they just left us waiting and waiting. Food is great, servers are great, but there needs to be better organization when sitting people, you cant just hope that a party sitting in 1 table out of all the spaces in the restaurant is conscious enough to not stay for hours without consuming anything, instead of trying to find another space for your customers that have been waiting for long.

Update. Every dish here is amazing. Update: We ate here again last night with more family from El Salvador. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Came to the restaurant on 8/18 for my daughter s baby shower. It was a packed Sunday and we had a party of 13 so it was expected to have a long wait. After an hour we were seated and all was well initially. The issue began when a guest in our party asked our server JAIRO to bring chips to our table so many times without avail. We had to get a manager to bring them out eventually. The meal was delicious so there was no complaint there but my real issue is what happened before we left. After all checks were picked up and taken care of JAIRO took upon himself to single out a guest IN FRONT OF EVERY ONE who didn t give the tip he felt like he deserved. Stating the gratuity was not included pointing at the two dollar tip amount that was already put on the tip line. When my guest acknowledged that was the amount he deserved he came back AGAIN and made the snarky remark can you atleast sign for my two dollars so I can get my money while pointing at the signature line with attitude. WHEW Im not sure if he is aware of how tipping works but when someone purchases guacamole the LEAST they can do is receive chips with it. So next time he believes he DESERVES more of a tip he needs to be more accommodating. Do better. We won t be returning to this location.

My wife and I don t get out a lot, and today is my 39th birthday. I can never decide on the right restaurant on my birthday. My mom recommended Gloria s. Seemed perfect. We arrived about at 6:05 to a beautiful restaurant and were sat promptly at a table in the middle of the room between two 12 tops. We were promptly served chips, salsa, and a bean dip which were tasty. Some green sauce came a moment later which seemed like a nice surprise. I perused the menu as did my wife, despite the fact that she had already looked at it online earlier in the day and had her heart and stomach set on Carne Asada. I decided on the La Mexicana. Then the waiting began. So we sat. And we waited. Must have seen a half dozen or more waiters cruise by. Some a few times. No eye contact. No acknowledgment. No way of knowing which one might have been assigned to our table. My wife asked if we were invisible. A few of the waiters and even a manager checked on the 12 tops that flanked us. I think we re invisible, I told my wife. And so we sat. We weren t offered so much as a glass of water. At 6:16 we decided to call it. I felt like 10 minutes was ample time to wait for a greeting. We left and went to a different restaurant, across the highway. Parking: They had a pretty big parking lot.

The food is tasty. However, I would not give it 5 stars. The 1st time we came, we shouldve checked our to go bag, we ordered tres leches to go. We got home, it wasnt there. 2nd time, the patio is pretty but dont let those white boxes on the ceiling fool you. They dont work.so.no fan or air!! Those poor servers! First time visiting Gloria s to see what all the buzz is about, and I have to say, it lives up to the hype. The place is stunning and always bustling, so be prepared to wait a bit for parking. Upon checking in, the hostesses were welcoming and gave us an estimated wait time for our table. They initially said 35-40 minutes, but it ended up being more like 10-15 minutes pleasantly surprising! Our servers were incredibly attentive and kind, making the entire experience feel seamless. The service was well-organized, from the prompt delivery of chips and salsa to the drinks, and the food was even brought out by chefs in white coats, adding a special touch. The service was impeccable to start. We were promptly greeted and I returned that greeting with a special request for a booth. After being promtly seated our waitress introduced herself and placed chips, tamatillo salsa, red salsa, and bean dip all homemade on the table. We ordered frozen strawberry margaritas; which were excellent. For the entrees we chose the skirt steak and the shrimp. Both superb by measure of great standard. The atmosphere was upscale and inviting displaying a great mixed crowd. The patio was so beautiful and inviting we requested info to use the space as an event. I was really surprised! It looked a bit fancier and we assumed it would be pricey. 3.99 kids meals include a drink and ice cream! And they have carne asada for kids! The chips come with salsa, green salsa, and a black bean dip. It was all great and pretty cheap for a family of 5.

The food is not as great as the other location. I really liked my dish but my cousin didnt care for hers. We go to the Houston location often so she was comparing the two. Its new. Im sure it will get there as they get better. The atmosphere is gorgeous though and the service was awesome. My first time trying the Tamarind and I loved it. Definitely a great place for a drink, date night, or girls night. I will be back for sure.

Ive visited several locations: Fairview, Frisco, Dallas, Garland, and Rockwall. I like Glorias. This location is larger and a bit fancier, same great food. The place is popular, and it was packed, with a 40 min. wait for a table. We gladly took the last 2 seats at the bar. Angel was our main server. He did a great job. But, everyone behind the bar worked as a team, making sure that everyone sitting at the bar was well taken care of. I like pretty much everything on the menu. He had the chicken & spinach quesadillas and I had the ceviche. They always have the best ceviche that Ive eaten anywhere.

Extremely loud. The service was good. The food wasnt as good as expected. We were a group of seven, two second time returning, but we decided it was our last time. The shrimp cocktail that looked like soup was good, as well as the quesadilla, the Guacamole, and the chicken nachos, but the beef was tough, and the spinach enchiladas, one ok, other two hard tasted as if they were under the heat light long. One stated she liked the Gloria s in Dallas better! That s it!

Victor was our trainee, supervised by Edgar (?) .. they were both super attentive and made for a wonderful experience for my wife s birthday dinner and our party of 11. They were so nice! The food was great as usual. Wonderful job, Gloria s! Also, excellent margaritas!! Parking: Easy parking right at the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Kids meals are a GREAT DEAL! This was my first time here. We visit the Austin location and have always enjoyed it. We were with a group of 10 standing at the bar waiting for our table to be prepared. The restaurant was full since it was a Saturday evening. A waitress walking by with frozen drinks on a tray somehow spilled them over while passing me and they went all down the back of my dress, the backs of my legs and into my shoes. Several frozen margaritas as seen all over the floor. A women in a ponytail, whom I assumed was some sort of manager, walked over as I was sitting in a booth trying to wipe my feet and legs off with napkins. She asked if I was hurt and I said no, I was fine but just covered in frozen drink. She then seemed irritated at our request for a wet paper towel to try to get the sticky off my feet so I could walk to the table then just abruptly left after handing me one with a snarky reply like I was bothering her. We then went to the table to continue our evening. Never once did anyone apologize to me, come check on me, offer to comp something, ask about my clothing and shoes, nothing. Everyone in our party was shocked. Usually the least they could do was offer some condolences. I have seen this happen at other restaurants and usually the management is very gracious and apologetic. Not a good way to treat customers! Otherwise, Our food was good, and our server was attentive. I ended up buying myself a small frozen drink for $15 that I could drink instead of wear. I was not impressed with the management here!

I GOT THE CHURRASCO and It was so good! Great big open restaurant with great food. Prices can be similar to pappasitas. Great selection of food and drinks packs a punch, which is always good vs water down drinks. Parking can be crazy the later it gets in the day. They have extra parking on the dirt next to parking lot. A definite recommend for good food and drinks.
