I cant believe this place cant make toast, they served my wife bread, sent it back next order was toasted on one side only, ordered a biscuit it was done properly. Her Migas order had runny scrambled eggs nasty, she loved the beans, beans werent worth 14 dollars. Wont be back. We used to come every Saturday was good then. But like every restaurant in Midland its good for a bit, then appearantly they stop caring about customers and quality.

Typical bar food. Mostly fried but really tasty. It was my first time trying Texas toothpicks. I liked that they were combined with onion rings..... so that is probably my favorite part of the meal. The steak fingers were good... not something I can get back home so I was glad I got to try them.

So drive all the way there excited to check out this place. The nice hostess is was cordial and the waiter sitting people out in patio was super nice and let us in with dogs in the back patio.. She took our drink order. Then she comes back and says are my dogs service dogs sorry the manager wanted me to ask!!! REALLY MANAGER! Why dont you come out yourself. So by this time no order has been taken and no drinks. So I said sure. Then she asks can I see papers !! Thats when we leave!! There was like two people out in the patio and early afternoon. What a ridiculous establishment!!!!!!!!!. Out of town folks and I have never been asked for dog papers even if they are service dogs. That is plain unprofessional and frankly poor management. Way to go !! Welcoming new Midlanders!!! If this is how you want to be treated sure. I think service dogs are actually more well behaved than this. Thats all you can ask for. Dont come if your a dog lover, this establishment will not let you get in order or let you stay. Simply Ridiculous!!!!!. They dont even respect their customers. Good luck with staying in business.

Good food. I had their cheeseburger, nice thick patty with good flavor, all of the expected toppings. Choose sweet potato fries to go with it. They were nicely done as well! Good atmosphere, the noise level was good, you could hold a conversation without yelling at each other.

The Saturday Brunch from 10AM till 2PM here is excellent. They have a nice selection of breakfast items along with lunch items. We were there today with a fussy baby and the wait staff were very helpful in getting us what we needed to meet her needs. Well done ladies!

The Pros: The food was really damn good. I had the Texas Burger w/onion rings and the wife had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. That Burger was awesome. The beer was cold, her sweet-tea was good. The service was quick. The place in general was clean. The Cons: I have to admit that for a Burger, it was a bit on the pricey side. The waitress overcharged me for my beers (a lot) in which I caught and she corrected. She started off acting like she was either deaf or dumb, but that got better. I dont normally say anything about anyones appearance, but one of the ladies looked like she was hungover from the day before and was just miserable. Other than that.....it wasnt that bad I guess. Spent $52 for two people.

What an establishment. No shortage of alcohol and the food is better than I expected. The bathrooms here are an experience you have to try it for yourself. Smoking is allowed all throughout the building so keep that in mind.

Very interesting place... Brings you back into the 80s. Service was great, food and drinks were good. I liked the atmosphere but the music was just a tad too loud to have a good conversation. Interesting detail - smoking is allowed inside (80s - ), so if you are allergic this is not the place for you

Ive eaten here in the past on a weekly basis and their food was delicious, their corn bread was outstanding! Unfortunately this time all of our food was burnt and dry. The corn bread was tough and not great tasting. The meat on my burger was dry and burnt, the Jalapeño poppers...burnt and hard. Very disappointed

I didn t have a single problem with this place! On Saturday the mimosas are strong and plentiful. My family absolutely insisted we try their French toast. I myself was only there for one thing, deep fried bacon. I had to try a serving with a side of gravy and I wasn t disappointed at all. They re not overly meaty prices but the breading still can t hide the flavor. I had pork chops and eggs with a muffin and I enjoyed every single bite. The pork chop is nice and juicy and the eggs were fluffy. The atmosphere is just one of a kind including a wall filled with vintage beer cans, a huge bar, and a stage. Servers were friendly and while there were no black women up front I only saw one shift and it is Texas. Food is definitely worth it. Thanks so much everyone.

Went for brunch. Menu was good. Lots of different choices. I got chicken and waffles. Comes with bacon and country gravy. Food was prepared perfectly. They did not offer sugar free syrup which was disappointing. The smoke free section was full and had a 20+ minute wait so we sat in smoking. Next time I will wait. Someone lit a cigar close by and it stank. The service was very good. Our server was promt, pleasant, and polite. It take quite some time for the order to come to table, it was very busy. Overall an enjoyable experience. Need larger non smoking section.

I had the grilled quail off the appetizer menu and OMG it was good! It was my first time trying quail and it definitely wont be my last. I also enjoyed a margarita on the rocks and it was just right. This is one of those iconic Midland go-to bar/grills. Pictures of legends who gave visited the bar line the walls. And guys you just gotta visit the mens restroom... You wont be disappointed just take my word for it! Haha! My boyfriend took a few pics to show me the decor He recommends the chicken fried steak dinner btw and says Youre welcome! Theres an outdoor eating/entertaining area a well for the evening hours. If youre new in the area or just visiting, check this one out! Its good! (Ps - its very crowded during the peak hours!)
