We were late getting dinner and I was searching for a place to get a good vegi calzone and shrimp alfredo. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD. Everything was fresh, even the garlic knotts. I had no idea that my favorite dinner, calzones was less than 2 miles from my traveling assignment. Even the sauce for the calzone, DElicious. We got our dinner to go, but just viewing the restaurant, it was nice, calm gentle atmosphere. I will certainly return. Dinner has left me with a smile. Ooo and I had the teramisu for desert, ummmm. It tasted like it was so recently made. Not to sweet, very moist, and awesome. Vegetarian options: I ordered the vegi calzone and it made me happy.

Called at 11:10 AM to place an $800 catering order for later that week. was told to hold, after 10 minutes of waiting, someone picked up the phone and said they re busy packing carry out orders and if they could call me back in an hour. Would have taken them less than 5 mins to write down my order. I ll take my business elsewhere!

We Got take out today. The rolls were hot and wrapped in too small of foil they were were smashed and butter was melted in bag with them. Large Salad had no dressing ( House Dressing) Other then that prefect. Can you fix this take out problems.

My wife and I visited this place yesterday at about 3 pm. We were there seemingly by ourselves and loved it. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food and service are great. The server told us that he was about to bring us the best bread that we had ever had and he did not disappoint! I highly recommend this place and will be coming again.

Over all the whole experience was okay. We got seated quick, and drinks quick. But waited a good while for the waitress to come back to take our order. The garlic bread was soft and good, just a little salty. I had the chefs special, (chicken Alfredo with mushrooms and spinach), was quite underwhelmed. The chicken tasted as if it wasnt seasoned, and the Alfredo sauce wasnt very flavorful. It wasnt nasty, just not much flavor. Tiramasu was just okay, Ive definitely had better. For the price of everything I was just expecting more flavor

Unfortunately, the reality of the actual served food did not live up to the anticipation. I was so excited to try this place but be honest it was very mediocre and underwhelming. I see the potential of this restaurant but its just not there and had a decent experience but not the best or the worst. This is a newer restaurant in The Woodlands area, and I was quite excited to try it and I even saw the 4.1-star rating and thought its probably going to be somewhere in the realm of an Olive Garden. The food quality didnt connect with me, and I was a little disappointed. This is a new location and looks quite pleasant on the outside and walking inside we were immediately greeted and brought to a table. I have been in construction and recognized the smell of fresh drywall which I could still vaguely smell in the dining area, as this is a very new construction. Everything was clean and as we sat in the booth, we were then greeted by our server who was pleasant but also a little bit disconnected. We start off by ordering our drinks and an appetizer of the fried zucchini. There are also garlic bread rolls which took a while to come out and were just very buttery almost croissant like bread rolls. The zucchini appetizers were good, but it was a very small portion for what you pay for. It was about ten very small deep fried zucchini sticks, almost the size of mozzarella cheese fried sticks. They were good and fresh, but it was the portion size was small. Next came our dinners that we ordered. We had ordered the fettuccine tortellini and also the sampler platter, as I wanted to get an idea of all their foods. The fettuccine tortellini was actually good, served in a nice fettuccine/garlicky sauce. The sampler platter was a different story, where it was three different types of Italian foods but just served in a gravy boat style dish all drowned in spaghetti sauce with cheese on top. I literally could not distinctively tell one type of Italian food from the other in it it ended up just being a giant soup bowl of glop. I was hoping they would be served on a plate in separate portions but that is not how they do it here. I was not keen on that and really disappointed to just eat a gravy bowl of slop. The service was good, and the staff was very pleasant. The tabletops were kept very clean and nice presentation. The overall atmosphere and Clinics of the restaurant was still in a very new stage and maintained well. Overall, I can only give the Adriatic Grill one thumbs up because although it was good service and nice ambience, the food presentation, portion sizes and quality was subpar. I probably wont be coming back here again, and I cannot recommend this restaurant for an Italian dinner. The presentation and the food quality just doesnt match the pricing. If I were to compare it, I would say that the Adriatic Cafe is the Subway sandwich shop of Italian restaurants.

Our family visited the Adriatic Cafe Woodlands location on 08/31/2024 for a late lunch. This was our first experience and we couldnt have been more pleased with all aspects of the restaurant. The service from Nathan was superb and delivered with a big smile, friendly demeanor and excellent attention to detail. The food came in portions large enough that, after the wonderful bread and salad, we left with more than enough for an entire second meal at home. Flavors were excellent on the chicken parm, egg plant parm and Spaghetti The Works. The salad was fresh and the hot bread is fantastic. Beyond the delicious food was the value for the dollar. I heartily recommend this restaurant and am already planning to take some other family members and friends here in the future. Thanks for a great first experience!

The calamari is imitation calamari not even real squid. The Alfredo along with everything else I ordered had no flavor at all. Literally ate 1 bite and was still charged full price. And immediately after my wife and I both have symptoms of food poisoning. Also this is the first time I ve ever given a bad review to anyone. It was truly that bad. Save your money, cicis is genuinely better. I hope they get it together though because it has potential.

I hate to leave a bad review but you guys deserve this. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Honestly I ve had better frozen sauce than you served. Bland and basic. The meatballs were disgusting. I m not sure how you ruin a meatball but the flavor and texture had me spitting it out. No way you have your chefs actually seasoning and preparing these. Do better. WOW... Ive been wanting to check them out since they opened and I am super impressed. We ordered to-go pick up around lunch time on a Friday. The food was ready within 15 minutes and so fresh. I got the BYOP with linguine, alfredo sauce, & chicken. Im super picky when it comes to alfredo sauce not being my own but Im not exaggerating, this is the best alfredo sauce I have had at any restaurant. Everyone really enjoyed their lunch. We will definitely be coming back!

Another stellar visit to the adriatic cafe. Since it was my third trip here, I decided to get something different, and it was just as expected. Philly cheese steak with onions and fresh bread. Olive Garden use to be my favorite restaurant. I will never return to Olive Garden as long as Adriatic Cafe is here. The bread, the flavors, the portion sizes, the staff, the price. All amazing. Definitely one of the best Adriatic Café houses! My family, friends and I personally love this restaurant! The menu is absolutely divine, the atmosphere is always very comfortable and pleasant, and the service is the best! Today in particular I am immensely grateful to Daniel , he makes my day, extremely kind and careful! He met my special request, as I was on a cardiac diet, perfectly!! I hope that Daniel is recognized by the management, and my family and friends, and of course my husband and I, can be served by him many, many times from now on!! First time dining at the Adriatic Cafe- enjoyable experience! Excellent service from Ilmi who brought us a warm basket of garlic bread to start off and checking on us throughout our dining experience! For an appetizer we ordered- mozzarella sticks- light and not greasy. Pasta Sampler (lasagna, manicotti, and cheese ravioli) side salad with house balsamic dressing. We also ordered the veggie medley. Seriously, everything was so fresh! Portions were plentiful - enough to share and still brought food home. Lastly, the Lemoncello Mascarpone cake - excellent!! Everyone seemed to get a sizable portion. The pasta sampler was not as visually appetizing as everyone elses. The taste of the manicotti was a bit sour as well. Sad to say. ( The waiter said he was surprised I ate as much as I did) Dont know what that means. My plate was 1/4 the size of everyone else. The bread was the BEST. Wow, this place was amazing. The food quality was great and these days finding an affordable family meal is difficult, but their pricing is super reasonable. The service was very attentive and quick. We decided to give this place a try after the new wore off. We were pleased with the overall experience. We were met at the entry with smiles and sat right away. Our sever was a very nice young man that answered all our questions and checked on us frequently. The food was good. I only wish I had not ordered a salad. The calamari was good. We love Adriatic Cafe Italian Grill! They offer meals at affordable prices and this is nice for my family of 7 to be able to afford going out together and enjoying some family time out without breaking the bank. I m speechless! First time coming to the new location in the woodlands and I love it ! The restaurant is beyond beautiful & the food was amazing! I had the cheese raviolis as well as their Adriatic salad and it was delicious, left me wanting more. Best Italian food I had in a very long time. Staff is so friendly and quick. Cyndi, two good friends, and I stopped by prior to a concert to enjoy an Italian meal. Cyndi and I were already familiar with another Adriatic Cafe, and highly recommended it to our friends. I had the tortellini alfredo with shrimp, while Cyndi has the baked zini. Our friends enjoyed chicken dishes. The food was hot and tasty. Our server, Maddy, was quite personable. The reason I m giving this 4 instead of 5 stars is 1) the service was very slow. The restaurant wasn t that busy, yet it took a long time for our food to come, and 2) only 5 small shrimp in my alfredo. Lots of tortellini and sauce, but too few shrimp in my opinion. The dish could have used a better balance of pasta to protein. We will continue to keep Adriatic Cafe on our list.

We went tonight and had dinner. First the server was not friendly spoke low and did nothing extra. We had to ask for literally everything. 1. Bread was over done and cold wouldn t even melt butter 2 count get drink refills 3 zucchini tasted like it was fried in old grease 4 ordered shrimp tortellini - shrimp seemed boiled Order the combo lasagna/ravolli/manicotti Yuck yuck yuck I literally spit out the lasagna it was like they dropped the spice jar in Over all a NO from me, never again $65 down the drain but lesson learned Not one server smiled or was happy. When you walk in the door there all standing there no one smiles or speaks !!!

The food is good, which is consistent with the first location Ive been to in Jersey Village. The wait staff still needs to work out the kinks, but that will improve with time, e.g. didnt ask for a choice of salad dressing. Another thing to think about is only one way in and out. So if you want to head back south, then cant access the back street, i.e. David Memorial, but instead will need to take 45 feeder.

The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is ok. We had dinner with friends. There s a nice bar area where you can sit and eat. There was a decent wine and beer selection, nothing special. The dirty martini was ok. The table rolls were more American-style rolls dressed to appear and seasoned with Italian herbs. We had Calamari and Mussels for our appetizer, which tasted and looked frozen. The red sauce tasted like it came from a can and was very sweet. The white sauce for the mussels needed more seasoning. The Veal Marsala and Veal Saltimbocca were overcooked, and the cheese and prosciutto on top of Veal Saltimbocca made it difficult to cut; the veggies also needed seasoning and should be cut into smaller pieces for easy eating. The Tortellini Modo With Chicken needs more seasoning, and the tortellini was overcooked; when I asked for cheese, I was pointed to the pizza cheese jar like Kraft Parmigiano. I said no, do you have Romano or Pecorino Roman? He asked the kitchen, and they gave me some other cheese, which helped a little. The shrimp scampi needs more seasoning, and pasta should be served in Al-dente. We did not try the pizza however this is a nice place to sit enjoy and glass of wine or beer and maybe have a pizza.

You must try the Alex Special pasta. The sautéed chicken, red peppers, mushrooms, onions, and garlic create a harmonious blend of savory and spicy notes. Very cool place. Nice atmosphere and great lunch deals. The garlic bread they have is great. Staff is very attentive and the food was great. The tortellini alla panna was very good. Parking: Plenty of parking space behind the building and there is a walking path to another parking lot.

Went for lunch. They give you these soft, warm garlic pull -apart rolls. Nice ambience . First ordered fried zucchini with marinara sauce. Excellent. Then I had the dinner menu of shrimp Alfredo. It was a huge portion ( I took some home). The sauce was creamy and rich, and the fettuccine was done perfectly, as was the shrimp. My friend ordered the lunch chicken Alfredo , which portion was the same as my dinner portion ( and cost only $11, compared to my meal@$18). Also were served side salads of lettuce, tomato slice, cucumber and shredded carrots. Everything was delicious. And prices are extremely reasonable, especially for an Italian restaurant. Since theyve only been open for a couple of weeks, well see if portions stay the same price and size.

Meh, nothing super special yet nothing terribly wrong either. The waiter forgot our drink order and never brought our salads, thats the worst of what happened. The food was not the greatest but edible. Our chicken dishes were a little over cooked / rubbery. The pizza had the right amount of cheese and sauce but the dough was different and not one Id expect to be used for pizzas. Can neither recommend or advise avoiding. At least they are not terribly expensive if you have a bad experience.

Jose B was our server and the service was the best part of our experience! We went last week and my mom is highly allergic to cheese. I know, weird, I chose an Italian restaurant not even thinking :( So she let him know and he checked with the kitchen on ingredients. They do put cheese in the butter that the rolls come with, so he had the kitchen make some without the butter or any kind of cheese. My mom wanted 1-2, the kitchen made her a whole basket. They took her food allergy very seriously and accommodated us extremely well. Our food was tasty but the above and beyond service was the most memorable!

Nice atmosphere but that was the best part. Got the veal parmesan. It was very tough and had a weird flavor. Didnt care for the marinara sauce that was on the spaghetti. We also got the sampler platter that included lasagna, manicotti and cheese ravioli. It all came smashed together in one dish and you couldnt tell what you were eating. Not impressed with any of it. The waiter was very friendly and nice but forgot to bring me my salad before the entree. Not worth what we paid.

Love this new spot. Hubbie and went for date night last week. Food was really good (I ordered the lobster ravioli, which was really tasty, my husband ordered from the Build your own pasta menu and he really enjoyed his food. The bread rolls were delicious). The service great - fast and very friendly. We are looking forward to going back with family and friends.

This is their new location, the atmosphere was nice. The service was great, but the food was bland. I ordered the Alex special and there wasnt much sauce on the pasta and the chicken was under seasoned. Everything was under seasoned. My colleague got the chicken Parm and said the same thing. The garlic knots were fresh and hot. I will go back and try a different item and sauce but I wouldve loved just a little more Italian in my Italian food.

When we loved in Spring, the Adriatic Cafe was one of our favorite restaurants. Since moving, we would still occasionally drive the 40 miles to go eat there. Were really glad this location has opened much closer to us. We were pleasantly surprised to see staff from the Spring restaurant and definitely plan on eating here again. We like their Garlic Bread with cheese, but their complimentary garlic rolls are so good we dont have room to eat both. Their Lemoncello Cake is my favorite dessert, a delicious, light dessert to top off an excellent meal.

First time there & only a little disappointed by the service. The food was very very good. I had the beef lasagna my wife had the gluten-free spaghetti & meatballs. They have a very good gluten-free menu. My wife said the gluten-free spaghetti was almost to good to be true. The service not the best I believe only because of not enough help at the time. We will see how it is next time because we will be back. Oh, the garlic bread that come at the beginning is AMAZING. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free section on the menu is nice.

On May 18, 2024 my wife and I took my sister in law to try the new Adriatic cafe Woodlands. Pros: Bread, Entrees were a good serving size, flavors, variety. Cons: It was very cold by the area we were seated, I asked the waitress to change us to another table, she said she will have to speak with the Manager, so he may lower the AC temperature, they did,, for a little bet and cold again. The answer should have been, no problem, let me change you. ( Plenty tables open it was around 430pm) Asked for shredded parmesan and they gave us a bottle of regular parmesan vs shredding some cheese over your food. Big difference. We had Mussells in white wine for appetizer, very bad presentation, looks like a bunch of mussells just thrown on a plate and very, very small size. (good taste) When the principal entrees came in, the plates for the appetizers were still on the table, the guy who brought the food over, just push the empty plates to the side to place the fresh entrees and left, didnt even take the empty plates with him. We called the waitress over and she cleaned out the table. Overall the food and prices are good, they just need to train their staff better. We as customers have to start demanding good customer service again, because it looks like is on the way out.

A friend and I stopped in for lunch and we are so pleased we did! The service was quite good, the food excellent, if you like fresh bread you will fall in love with their baker! Serving sizes were generous but the real surprise was how reasonable their prices are! I had an excellent Chicken Marsala and my friend the Stuffed Ravioli, both came with house garden salads, and we were well pleased . Total before tip, $24.50! They will become very popular in the near future, you should try them while you can still get in!

It was Mothers Day when we went, so the menu was limited, but the food and service were still excellent. Plenty of parking, and getting there was a breeze. This is a hidden gem and Im glad we found it! Recently opened in the Woodlands, this Italain restaurant has the most delicious food at an amazing price point! The food tastes like restaurants that charge twice as much! The service is top notch too - we received amazing seevice and the manager, Burim, was helpful when we encountered and issue. The ambiance is relaxed and semi-formal - perfect for a family dinner or a date night. I cant wait to go back to this restaurant again!

The restaurant is nice looking inside but the food was not very good at all. I ve made Eggplant Parmesan myself and it came out way better the first time I ever made it with no experience. The food had a just microwaved squishy-ness to it & overall it was just bland. Even the bread and wine was just meh.

Service was great! Place was very nice. The booth back was uncomfortable because it was so straight up. The lasagna was good, however, I had just eaten at a different new Italian restaurant in Conroe at GCP that I thought the lasagna was better.
