We always make an effort to support local businesses, so we decided to shop at the GP farmers market. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the fruits and vegetables we purchased. Many items appeared fresh on top, but were spoiled underneath. It felt like a complete waste of our time and money. We will not be returning, especially since the prices were higher than those at grocery stores and we paid for the spoiled items.

It is a small size of the farmers market. it was indoor when we went, but I am not sure if it was due to the pickle fest. There were about 10-20 sellers, but again we went during the pickle fest. Plenty of parking. Very lively. Prices were decent for fresh produce. They also have freshly baked items that run from $10-$20. There was a stall with fresca which was refreshing. Would visit again when we are in the area.

Our first time visiting was 6.22.24, and we will definitely not return. It is very small, and they only had two vendors who sold produce. They were extremely expensive. We paid $30 for bell peppers, purple hull peas, red onions, and green beans. Really? Never again. And the plus side, there were other vendors there who had their own crafts and/or desserts, and etc.

I have visited this delightful little marketplace a few times and love it. It is open every other Saturday. Be prepared to get offered samples from the food vendors. There are a diverse assortment of items to choose from amongst the many vendors - from arts & crafts to clothing to jewelry, and much more. You wont be disappointed. Stop by the leather craft table and ask for Paul (thats me). Update: April 6, 2024 Mayors 5K Run coincided with our first day of the new year, so there was more foot traffic than Ive ever seen there. Personally, I had my best day ever as a leather craft vendor. This is my first season and Ill be there every Saturday through the end of the year. Update: May 18, 2024 The weather has been cooperating and the public has been in attendance. Making friends, have repeat customers, and even a great referral project from a satisfied client.

Very cute area. We got there at 8:30 and it was barley set up. So we sat and chit chatted for a bit. Then we got some tacos. These tacos were fantastic. The hot sauce is hot, like they warned us, but nonetheless the great. There happened to be a parade and it was cute and fun to watch. They didn t have any fresh produce available. I also looked at other reviews and saw all these food vendors that weren t there today. I wish they were there as I was looking forward to trying all these foods. I still had a great time. It was nice to chill and watch the parade and talk to the vendors that were there. Great visit.

Away from the made rush of the freeway is this farmers market. Many vendors selling various things. Texas honey, handmade items, produce, food vendors, and so much more. After shopping here we drove down the Main Street. It gave a real small town vibe that we appreciated. As you know it can get real intense being in the Big cities.

I went to this market for the first time today. The young man w/ blonde hair at the produce table was finishing up with a customer and I was the only other person waiting. He never acknowledged me or said hi, he looked at me and proceeded to greet and assist other customers that began walking up. I said, Hi, good morning! Do you guys accept debit? It was only then that he finally said anything to me, and proceeded to pass me off to the other guy working with him so he could go back to helping the people that came after me. Very disappointed because the produce looked pretty good and I was looking forward to buying some fresh okra and fruit. I didn t even stay to go by any other vendors.

This is your typical farmers market. Only it is contained inside a tiny building. I contemplated giving this place three stars or four stars. I gave them four stars because I did see some tomatoes from Canton, TX. When I go to a farmers market, I want to see local produce. I didnt give them five stars because it is a tiny building. Also. I went here for a Hatch Chili Festival. They sold out before I could grab any two hours before the event ended. I will know next time to go earlier.
