This is my first experience with Mias table. I didnt know what to order but I was with a friend who said that she was getting the taco salad. Her brother-in-law had ordered it and looked fabulous she said. I didnt want to use salad and I really wanted soup so I opted for their taco soup and salad I dont forget the actual name of it however its in the soup and salad section. In todays economy I think this was an excellent deal! I got a salad approximately the same size as my soup. They told me the soup is the same size as the individual soup order that the salad was a bit smaller. If I had only order soup and it was that size I might have been upset at the cost bad for I think $3 more I got the salad. It was more than enough food. I will say however it was only okay food. Way too many tortilla strips in the soup. And the salad was okay. I loved the crispy bowl that it was in and I understand why they put the queso on top but Im not much of a queso person in a salad dish but thats not their fault thats mine. All in all it was a pleasant experience. the food was good although a little pedestrian. The next time I go I will definitely try other menu options. The family behind us had a plate of onion rings that looks divine. This is a casual restaurant with charming decorations. You have your choice of booths or tables. You order when you come in the door take a sensor of some sort and put it on the table and they deliver your food to you. The one thing I did not like is that since I had never been to the restaurant I had to stand there trying to decide quickly what I wanted to order. I would have preferred the opportunity to pursue menu at the table. But like I said if I had been there before it would have been a different process for me. They give you your glasses you self-serve your drinks. However, at the end of the meal they have a free ice cream cone. That was a lovely touch. I think this is a nice place and it was welcoming to families. I met a dear friend we had a lovely visit while we ate. I would recommend it just check for you before you go.

Well me and my wife wanted to try something different so we came here for the first time, upon entering into the building we approached a teenaged waiter and told him that this was our first time, not even in the building 20 seconds the boy told us that another teenager on the opposite side would help us instead seeing how he wasn t doing anything but just standing behind the register you pass us off to the next person?? Anyways we go to the other guy and what do you know? That guy just turns and walks off and not acknowledge us nor greet us? This incident happened around 4:00 pm on 9/29/24. We left and went right next door to Gloria s! 5 star customer service, atmosphere is grade A, food was delicious and they didnt treat us any different from anybody else as people of color. Who is Mia s Table to Gloria s Latin Cuisine?? I ll be sure to tell every person that I know about our experience here at this restaurant and strongly advise them to NEVER come here.

So hunger strikes, and Mias Table it is. This cute little spot is all the buzz. ... We got here and then the door never seemed to stay closed. Kaylyn ordered tacos and they came with chips and dip... Blaze Stella and I all got the kids chz burger and fries . FREE ice for all!!! Kid burgers were served plain with or without cheese ...Stella, the hard critic gave the s 0 out of 10.... Large, open indoor dining area, with covered seating outside. Several registers open for ordering, quite a few people ordering, but it went quickly. I had fried catfish and shrimp, which were very good, fresh, nicely seasoned batter, not greasy. The cole slaw was good, as were the fries. (Of the salad for the rides). Another person had the red snapper tacos, he said they were good. The kids were very happy with the chicken bits.

Mexican lady (Monica) barely spoke enough English to understand I wanted water and kept telling me the obvious out of order soda machine didn t work when I wanted to get water from the water machine that didn t have an out of order sign and got upset and rude so she offered me hot water and called over the manager. The food was great. My wife and I ordered the same entre, the chicken fried chicken, we both had Mac and cheese, I ordered beans, and she had the fries. Me and my husband went here for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful experience. I am pregnant with twins and food is very important to me right now, lol. We both ordered the chicken fried steak and it was so delicious. The food was hot and came out in a reasonable time. The service was also amazing. We were visiting Houston and found Mias Table, we excited about going there and buying a quart of fajita meat they quoted us 23.00, the manager talked to the kitchen mgr.and they doubled the price. We refused the order. When they quoted a price they need to stay with the quoted price. We had already paid for the order. We are very unhappy about the raising of price. That is very bad for business. I hope the owner sees this. I will never go back there again.

I did Uber eats tonight for Mias and would like to leave a review there but for some reason I cant. My daughter ordered the beef tacos with everything on the side and the lettuce was so old, it was brown and kinda slimy, the avacado was brown and the whole dish was cold. She also didnt get her queso that comes with the order. My sons order was missing mac n cheese and his drink. My order was missing my baked beans and instead of the plain gravy I asked for, I received the jalapeño gravy. All of our food was cold. It seems as they missed half of the damn order and didnt check anything. I dont know if Ill order here again.

OVERPRICED FOOD -not the quality I was expecting. Ordered a burger and it was dry & stiff. The bun was an ordinary Costco bun, not toasted. Nothing special for the $17 price tag. Its a counter service so kinda hard to criticize the service. We had pulled pork sandwiches with BBQ which would have been GREAT if we had ordered the bbq sauce on the side. Went there for lunch. Smelled great. We had high expectations for this place but was disappointed. Did not like the chicken fried steak. It was very salty. Did not like the gravy... who puts onions in gravy? That was aweful not only that i cannot eat onions. Makes me sick. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich.. she kind of liked it but didnt finish it. The bbq was way to sweet almost a ketchup flavor. Our son had a bison burger. He added bacon they gave him 3 small thin pieces.. for $1.50? The burger was also warm... not cold or hot. He ate it but was not to happy siad it was also not seasoned. You order and pay as you enter. So basically you dont have any staff check on you if there were any issues. They deliver food and disappear. The buss cleanup staff is there but dont talk to you. Its all you can drink fountain drink but expensive. We dont plan on going back anytime soon. If we do we will try something else.

This was my first visit and Im pleased with the quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere. Im not pleased that you need to tap into your IRA to pay for it.

This was my first visit to Mias. The 50s style atmosphere and music was refreshingly different. The pattymelt and onion rings were very tasty. The kicker was the free, authentic vanilla ice cream at the end. I took off one star because the prices were a bit high for my liking. I will be back. For those who cant be without their dog while eating in a restaurant, they have outside seating.

Ordered meatloaf, a burger, and a patty melt with fries, coleslaw, and potato salad. The potato salad was the best out of everything we ordered. No one enjoyed their food. The meatloaf was extremely thin slices (2), and the gravy on it had to have been a cheap jar because it was not good at all. Ketchup covered it up. The coleslaw was completely dry, void of any dressing. When we finished our meals to get soft serve, the machine only put out liquid. They said it had frozen over, and wed have to wait 15-20 min if we wanted any. This was our first and last time visiting. Parking: Busy parking lot shared with other businesses.

Clean and spacious. Food is great. Pay upfront, to include tip. But... there is no service. Want a refill of your drink? Get it yourself. Have an issue with your order? Too bad. Your meal is served and no one waits a few seconds to make sure its right. If theres a problem... they already have your money, including the tip. Want a take-home box for your $35 meal? Boxes and bags are in the corner... find them and do it yourself. Whats the tip for? Maybe it was just my experience and not the norm but there was very much a we have your money so screw you approach to service. I didnt finish my meal here. Just self-packed it and left. Even though the food was good, i have no desire to return.

My Wife and me went on a recommendation. She had the shrimp and catfish, and I had the meatloaf. It was really good, and fresh. The only issue I had was the service. It wasn t bad at all, just not at all what I was expecting. We will be back.

I love coming to Mia s Table, I don t mind spending my money there because the food and service is always great! BUT this last Saturday I went to Mia s table for a baby shower of a dear friend and I stepped away from my plate for a split second and before I knew it I returned and my plate was gone. The busser was in such a rush that he disposed of my plate and I was no where near finished eating, this was such an upsetting and disappointing experience ESPECIALLY when I paid for a full meal and barely got a bite, how could you have possibly mistaken my plate as finished when there was a full meal on it. The busser sincerely apologized and offered me a side but that side was no where near equivalent to the meal that was thrown away. I am extremely disappointed and not sure I will return after this experience
