Cant be happier!!! We have 4 rescue dogs and had an artist paint each of them. We LOVED the paintings, but the current glass and framing situation wasnt doing them justice. I went to Pickett s and Bob was THE BEST. He was so knowledgeable & suggested a special no glare glass for them but suggested keeping the current frame/matting. He wanted to make sure the tape was removed, they were matted correctly so they would never wrinkle, and sealed up the back of them for protection. He even suggested getting name plates for each of the pups engraved and placing them inside the frame. I was so happy with the result and they turnaround time was less than a week. Now we have our one-of-a-kind paintings presented in a way that they deserve all because of Mr. Bob Pickett. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My local frame shop , has done framing for various prints and maps for me ...very knowledgeable , fair priced, quick turnarounds...new residents to the area should consider this local shop . the big box retailers wont give such detailed advice and care . framing is a dying art that requires knowledge of restorative and archival and preservation processes ..well worth your time and money coming here for expert knowledge !

Bob knows his stuff! If you have something you value to hang, trust it here. Follow his instructions, and you wont be disappointed. He also repairs ½ priced frames you tried the first time around.

We found Mr. Pickett to be a very direct, very to-the-point, very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, in spite of the fact that he was currently inundated with work so soon after the holidays. I found our experience dealing with him quite pleasurable. We recommend Mr. Pickett.

I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs framing or old paintings that need to be fixed. I took him a painting my uncle had done. It had been damaged after years of being stored away. I was worried it could not be fixed. I was so happy to see that he was able to fix it and clean it up.
