All I went for was to get a picture of Ode to Ralph: Mermaid and Mer-Pig. When I entered the Tourism Bureau the young lady was very informative and advised me that they were the Mermaid Capitol and had a Mermaid March. Challenge accepted. We are from NJ traveling from San Antonio to Austin for vacation We found Ode to Ralph on Roadside America and it was a must. Here are the results.

San Marcos is a lovely little town but absolutely nothing touristy was open, no parks or anything. Very disapponting.

Traveling with a 5 month old right now and was very happy to be greeted by a very friendly man at the counter! Even better that they have big, clean changing tables for the code brown situations!
