Very terrible service, the manager that has a bald head, not sure of his name was very rude and to all the customers that came in through the dine in. It was at 9:15pm. He told everyone nobody should be coming into the inside and it should be closed. The manager said it closes at 10 pm we all informed him of the time, he did not say any thing or apologize.

Got the wrong order this morning, I asked for potato, bacon and cheese ended up getting eggs bacon cheese, totally sounds different! Some people are allergic to eggs this can. Be a lawsuit, if your employee cant comprehend and has a learning disability please get them off of drive thru.

This morning me and my boyfriend went to the drive thru to get a fajita meal. The person who handed my boyfriend our food just tossed it at him and this is how we brought our food home and the bag was leaking. Im not sure if they had an issue because we asked for a moment and then we asked questions because we werent sure about the order prices. I usually enjoy ordering food here because people are always nice but it was disappointing the experience we had here this morning.

Im very frustrated that over the years Taco Cabana, has no specials anymore. They used to always have specials, and very rarely do. Its like they have given up. The last few times I have gone they have been super focused on cost cutting so that they only give you one or two napkins with your food and barely any pico de gallo. When I went inside to use the Pico bar (which to me is the entire point of going to Taco Cabana) . They looked at me with a judging look, because I always put a lot more on my food than they give you. Theyre just super stingy with everything from napkins to Pico. Its just not worth it anymore for just a few dollars more you can go somewhere better.(Fuego) I do wish that Taco Cabana could return to its earlier days!! I know covid kind of ruined it for them, but it used to be such a better restaurant. The person working actually complained that I had too many napkins, but the food is messy and I think its rude to say that to a customer anyway. Im pretty much done eating there. At least this one. And Ive been a loyal customer for over 25 to 30 years at this location too! Parking: Lots of room in the parking lot. No problem here.

we stopped by on our way to San Marcos for the margaritas and of course we were trying to keep it safe so we ordered a bean and cheese taco. the taco was bland and of course they didnt automatically throw hot sauce or offered any , but the margaritas definitely made up for it. by my second margarita I had forgotten all about the tasteless taco.

First off I understand that this location gets their fair share of rude customers, but I work in Foodservice I m young I understand how it is but for the workers to blatantly have the nastiest attitude anytime there is a customer in the store is astonishing to me and then for you guys to not even be busy and forget half of peoples orders and then give the hardest time about refunding or remaking the orders it absolutely makes no sense and your guises salsa is always rotten like I get it. We are college kids there for a quick check, but You have to understand that you would be mad if you receive the same service that you guys are giving to us. It s frustrating and upsetting at this point that I spend $40 and I only get $25 worth of the food.

Every time I come in during my lunch break, this restaurant is completely disgusting, the staff is rude, and my order is sometimes messed up, missing something, or on more than one occasion, Ive been given a crispy taco shell that before I even touch it, is already broken. This location used to be good to eat at before Covid, but Im tired of coming in at 1 PM, and finding a disgusting restaurant with no clean tables, and no place to put my trash. Itd be one thing if they were always busy when this happens, but sometimes Ive been the only customer in the store, and no cars in drive through that I could see, and just saw everyone in the back on their cellphones, and chatting instead of trying to clean this store, including people in the managers shirts. I will not be coming back again, Ill be finding somewhere else to eat when Im on my lunch break, and I strongly advise anyone else to do the same, clearly nobody at this store wants to work.

Ive been living in another state for 5 years that doesnt have Taco Cabana. It was a bit disappointing because, apparently, they no longer have barbacoa. I used to be able to buy it by the pound with tortillas. Now you cant even get a barbacoa taco. Also, their flautas have shrunk! They are now the size of the frozen Delimex taquitos. I do, however, love their chorizo and egg tacos.

Dirty restaurant, gross kitchen and bathrooms. An employee was wearing gloves while touching some meat, and proceeded to go to the register and handled the customers card with the slimy gloves still on. Ive usually have came to this Taco Cabana off and on and noticed they have been doing a great portion that Ive seen compared to other locations. I bought a breakfast taco a few weeks ago and noticed the portion was beyond less. I went back and showed the cook if this is their portion they usually served and said yes. I then now know this location does give lesser portions to save the manager money. I have seen any location like this that goes less and less of food you buy. Its seriously a hit or miss with this place and the managers never care about the customers that have noticed the portions over time. .

Ordered on the app. This place has gone downhill in service. I understand post pandemic cutbacks so you re working with less staff and they re stressed out. I ordered $120 worth of food and get yelled for asking for a small pint to get salsa. Charging me $1.79 for a pint of free salsa when your tiny 1 ounce cups have kids that don t fit. Way to go and lose a customer TC. Next time I ll just go to Fuego. All I asked for was salsa. Oh and I also got shorted an entire order of family size steak fajita meat. Had to come back.

We usually like Taco Cabana. However, this one was not what were used to. Typically, theyre pretty clean, and the food is hot. Not here. The enchiladas were cold, and the tortillas were unusually small. My wife Taco came out soggy and fell apart as soon. As she picked it up. Its a good thing she had a tortilla, and she made a soft taco of the mess... The floors were dirty and looked as if they had not been mopped in quite some time. The soda dispenser was pretty dirty and needed a good cleaning. Hopefully, this will find the right people, and things will get cleaned up.

I went to this taco cabana at 9:30 AM on July 29 And every single employee was rude, but one really stood out. I have no clue what her name is but when I went through the drive-through, she was very aggressive in her tone already and I ordered my food no problem but when I left the drive-through, I realize there were no straws in the bag and then we re hand it to me so I pulled around the front and the line was super long and it was going very slow today so I called the store and I asked them to bring me out two straws because I couldn t go in and the lady told me well the drive-through is open. You can come in and get them. And I said no can you please bring them out to me I cannot go in and she said well I guess. Kerri come and hung up when she walked out of the store she threw her hands up like she couldn t find me even though I was two spots away from her And she looked so upset and walk back in the store so I immediately called that my car was forwarded it so I called again and she said how can I help you in a rude tone, and I told her that if she walked out for two seconds, and I had been yelling for her and she walked right back in, and she said well, you never described where you were and it I couldn t find you when we were getting really busy Why couldn t you just come in and get the straws? And I asked her what the problem was because I couldn t come in and I wouldn t have to ask her to bring them to me if I would ve gone then the first time she said something very rude back that I can t quite remember because after that, I did get out of my car and I went in there, and when I asked who the lady was the front desk person, she acted like she could care less and I would understand if I was acting like a Karen but I wasn t because I had just been yelled at and basically belittled by the drive-through woman or whoever she was she had a headset on and I told the lady I said, I don t know who started yawls morning off wrong but customers don t deserve that and that it was just very ugly of them and I m usually a nice person but if I would ve gotten the straws in the first place I wouldn t of had to do any of this and I didn t deserve to be yelled at she couldn t care less. But anyways we were traveling from Dallas and stopped to get a late dinner from driving and Gracie who was operating the drive thru went above and beyond for me making sure I could eat since I m a vegetarian she took very good care of us and soooo sooo sweet to the children. Very detailed explaning the ingredients and over helpful to serve our every need! Thank you Gracie so much! I m still talking about you till this day. The food is good here,but the inside of the restaurant is horrible, sitting down to eat and there are tables that are messy with crumbs of food and trash on the tables and floor and crickets,the trash can is full of trash cause you can see trash, crumbs around the trash on top, tea spilled and is attracting nats. Taco Cabana management & owner(s), Ive posted a picture of two employees that do not serve your business well (note this is a picture of the guy shutting the window on us to ignore the situation brought to his attention). They wouldnt give their names nor assist in rectifying communication nor behavior while they worked the drive-thru. The lady in the picture was working the orders for drive-thru & the guy handed food out in drive-thru. Upon pulling up to the speaker to order she said, What do you want? Then went silent. We started ordering & received no response to confirm order being received on her end. So we waited a bit & just decided to continue to order. He asked for the pizza listed under the $5 option. Her reply was what do you want? In return he says, The pizza one theres only 1 pizza that we see. Which she says, Theres 5 pick one & tell me what you want. Well with this go around we finally figured out theres small print of the meat options which she was not willing to communicate. We waited for a total & confirmation of order. Finally she spoke & said the total and with attitude said move up. We get to the window to pickup the order & this is where we come across the guy in the picture who continued the bad experience of bad customer service with attitude. We asked if the lady in the picture was the one working the orders for drive-thru. He confirmed. We asked for her name & was going to say that she shouldnt be on the drive-thru due to customer service... but we couldnt even get out the full statement, because he rolled eyes & shut the window on us. We knocked on the window to ask for a manager, but he refused to open the window. We waited for a few, but all we got was ugly looks. We drove off. The food was decent at least, we did the survey online with your company, & now doing this review. Its all been a very unnecessary situation that started due to customer service drowning from 1 staff that continued to grow to the next staff. I really hope that this gets addressed with your staff & fixed from putting other customers in this situation. Unfortunately, theres no rectifying this with us as the moment to do such had rolling eyes & a window shut on us by your employee.

Drive thru was fast quick to get line moving and fast to prepare food. Customer service was great added condiments and was friendly. Parking: Plenty of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Front parking and Plenty of space to get in & out

Update: I have continued to get breakfast tacos from here, as I stated my son lives them. I still believe for the size of taco its too much as well, $3 and they are small. However, service has markedly changed, friendlier, nicer, more on time! Even brought my order out to curbside, I was shocked. So I have updated to 4 stars. Original: First off, my son loves the breakfast tacos from here. But for $3 per small taco, its a rip off. They charge too much for cheese as well. Ive submitted my order many times for curbside, but they wont bring the order out. Have to go in, dont look at the beverage area full of flies.

I have visited several restaurants (Fuego, Casa García, Chedars, etc) with my sister here in San Marcos Tx. Most of the people who serve are very nice, they saved this place, I should have seen the opinions and told my sister. What a guy with such a bad attitude and he reflects it on the employees.

Just a heads up, you do have to order one food item with your alcoholic drink so we pick up the dragon fruit margarita, and the strawberry mango and a chips and queso so we were about $12 in but the good thing about it is that the guy at the register gave us a doggy treat for baby Katniss, so yeah, let s see how they taste. We will update our review once we try the margarita.

First of all, I sat at the speaker for more than 15 minutes because the worker could not figure out how to function apparently. She was very sweet, but taking an order was so hard for her. I did not make any special requests, I just wanted the mixed fajita plate, but that was way too confusing. I had to repeat myself and correct the worker several times. The entire experience took more than 40 minutes. I was in the drive-through line with people in front of me, and behind me so I couldn t leave or else I would have. It was the middle of the day on a weekday, so it was not teenagers, this was an adult allegedly.

Ordered curbside service through the app. Pulled into one of two curbside parking spots and attempted to contact the restaurant via the posted phone number. I ended up leaving a voice-mail message providing my name and parking spot identifier, and, eventually, a restaurant employee came out with the order, spotted me in my vehicle, and came over and handed me the order. Food was great!

Bro I just ate paper ..your joking right? Like seriously I ordered a chicken chalupa and kind of thought it was weird being served on paper in this stryofoam box, i poured salsa on it and I guess it seeped through immediately, I ate the whole thing and it tasted funny but I just got off of work and was starving, also on a really tight budget right now and couldn t afford much else. The sign on the door says Dine In open everyday at 6am. I arrived at 7:30am and the door was locked. The staff all saw me at the door several of them motioned to a lady that seemed to be in charge. They collectively decided to ignore me at the door. No explination or any reason given. Empty drive through. So no reason to ignore a paying customer. So, I politely left. I myself am unable to use the drive through, because the truck I drive for work is to big to go through. I would have ordered and collected my food and left. My family and I will no longer eat here. I do not want to support place that treats people like this.
