The workers pet the dogs that come to the window with customers and then they dont wash their hands. Ive seen it happen twice. Second time I canceled order. Two people I know have gotten sick from this place. No gloves and they dont wash their hands

I love this place! A true San Marcos/ TXST staple. Breakfast and lunch tacos are consistently delicious and a decent size. With 2 you are good, with 3 you are stuffed. And did I forget their thick cut juicy bacon?! I m a repeat customer!

This is one of my go-to breakfast taco places. Be prepared for long lines at the drive-through, though. The tacos are always tasty and fully stuffed, so you really get your moneys worth. The service is always good.

I had high hopes for this place! Its been in San Marcos forever and is a locals favorite but man, I was so disappointed with our tacos. Everything had an odd taste to it. It almost tasted like a smelly old fridge. Stale and you just couldnt put your finger on it. Maybe its their refrigerator or the water they use in ingredients but I was not a fan. After a bite of each taco, we decided it was best not to continue in fear of getting sick. For $4.50/$5 per taco, I would recommend going elsewhere.

These are awesome. Will need to go back. I m not a fan of beans on breakfast tacos but wanted to try one of their menu tacos. Still, everything was so good. And the salsa oh I want more of that salsa. Do avoid the drive through unless you have lots of time and brought a snack if there are more than a few cars. That took too long but was still worth it.

These are the best tacos not only in San Marcos but in Texas! Theyre exceptional! Big tacos they pile on the bacon. Theyre not afraid to load them up. All of the staff are extremely helpful, friendly and super fast. Highly recommend if youre new to town and wanting to try award-winning tacos! I went to school in San Marcos in the 80s man it has changed. Anyway I was passing through and wanted a breakfast tacos. I saw Lolis Cafe and was not dusappointed.I had a bacon, cheese, bean and egg and it was outstanding. I met the mom and daughter and a couple of the employees, very friendly. I haven t been here in over 10 years and the menu has grown just a bit. I frequently visited finding my summer days as a Texas State student and boy have I missed it. I tried out the Picadillo (loaded) taco and oh my goodness; perfection!! I m definitely a fan of trying out chilé (hot sauce/salsa) and the green is my go to from now on! There s always a wait when visiting but IMO, it s worth it. Inflation has caused everything to go up but to me, the tacos are worth it. I can t wait to try something different next time I visit!

This is always our go-to breakfast taco place when we are in town for Texas State games. It never disappoints and the food is always consistent. Made to order breakfast tacos on homemade tortillas and super fast service, especially if you walk up vs drive thru. Picadillo loaded was delicious as well as the standard bacon egg and cheese and chorizo. Super thick and crispy chopped bacon! How have I not left a review yet?!? Low-cost you almost feel like you re robbing them, because how could food that good be that cheap! Don t be intimidated by the wait, it is worth it every time! These the are the kindest, warmest, hard-working women and I absolutely love seeing them whenever I come through the drive. I feel guilty that I only just now remembered to leave a review after coming to Loli s 3-4 times a month (5-6 on a good month), but they deserve it. If you come through, be aware, everyone else knows how good it is and you might have to wait, but be patient and be kind! Everything I got was absolutely amazing. Homegirl even threw in a Carne guisada taco for me to try...and she was not wrong it is good. Barbacoa- amazing, loaded picadillo-fantastic and the lolitas combo-absolute heaven...and the green salsa-absolutely perfect. First time there and I will definitely be coming back!!!

The best breakfast tacos, I was definitely skeptical. One breakfast tacos in Texas are everywhere and two generally good, if predicatable, overall. So really what could be different about Lolis? Everything, the tacos are big, so unbelievably tasty, just almost dream about it tasty. Worth the wait in the drive thru line. You want to try everything! And theres cookies ...

Excellent breakfast tacos. Delicious chorizo, bean and potato. The bacon is amazing and the potatoes are perfectly cooked. Im not a fan of the cheese, so I just order without it.

I was so skeptical of any place with the best breakfast tacos, one because every restaurant that does breakfast it seems does tacos, two its Texas and frankly its just part and parcel of the state. However, Lolis was different and tasty. The heat of the tacos was a perfect wake up, not crazy hot, but spicy good. The ingredients were fresh and extremely well done, this was miles away from just some egg wrapped in a tortilla! No, the specialty tacos were jam packed with enough filling there was no bite of only dry tortilla and large enough to share. Not greasy, not dry, not just slapped together, but simmered and considered, blended flavors rich and flavorful. One hundred percent worth the wait and the lack of seating, that good, that good. Try everything because even the basic tacos were perfectly done. And the coffee with sweet cream dont miss it!

Found this place driving through, when i got in line they were pretty quick. I think there was about 5 cars in front of me. Picked the breakfast tacos bean and potatoes and cerizo & egg definitely to good choices. They had two selection of hot sauce both had a good flavor .

Love the sauces, homemade is Homecare, lol tortillas yum! I d get a taco and an extra tortilla next time. I d also get some extra sauce. Plan to wait, it s drive up or walk up. Staff is sweet. It looks like their parking is a former car wash spot. The sweetest smelling home cooking former car wash parking spot you will ever find. Give it a shot!
