Absolutely Loved It! Oh man, let me tell you about my recent dining experience it was *fantastic*! From the moment we walked in, I knew we were in for a treat. Our waitress, Jennifer, was an absolute rockstar! She was super attentive and had the friendliest vibe. Seriously, it felt like we were catching up with an old friend rather than just having a meal. Now, onto the food wow! Everything was delicious! Even though the place was buzzing with people, our food and drinks came out surprisingly fast. And guess what? We even got to meet the manager, Oliver! He was just as friendly as Jennifer and really made us feel welcomed. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and the overall vibe of the place.

We frequent 54th often and have never had any issues, until today. Today my sister and I stopped in for an early dinner and we received the absolute absolute worst service from the night bartenders, Kellen, Ivana, and Kaylisse, that we have ever experienced. They completely disregarded us walking past numerous times as if they didn t see us. Continuously passed off any request we made to someone else as if they didn t want to be bothered, and just really made us feel completely unwelcome. We are very big on gratuity and STILL wanted to leave a 20% just to kill em with kindness up until the very end of our experience when the bartender Kaylisse, (after 15 minutes of all three of them walking past ignoring us) gave us our change/tab and walked away without any goodbye or saying anything at all. Off of this extremely disappointing experience alone we more than likely won t be returning here again.

Our server Julian was great! He gets 5 stars. But the issue derives from another server, ARI. She took our fun time from 5 to a 2. Rudely dropping food to tables including ours. Keeping a disgusted look on her face the whole time we were there and she wasn t even our server. She doesn t know the definition of customer service even in the slightest. We did get go up to the host stand to get our own silverware (which we didn t really mind), but would have sat there with hot food and smiles on our faces for a while without anything to eat with. The food was decent and a good reverse happy hour prices. The decor was on point. The manager did come over to render the situation, offered something free and didn t see him again after the fact. Not really quite the recovery you d expect. ARI, definitely needs to be talked to and understand how you can ruin a guest s experience by not putting your best foot forward. She was rude and drained the energy of the restaurants vibe. Overall, thank you Julian for the positive energy and service. 5 states for him!!

Close this place down your employees wouldnt Wouldnt notice. Zero stars First time trying this place and probably will not try again or make an attempt. Walked through the door two very young girls as hostesses standing at podium in front of us . Well exactly that just stood there looking straight down at some device on podium. Hello are you open we say to them, Neither one can lift her head up to look at us and acknowledge. So i spoke up and said can we get a table for three. Finally got the one with the bad prescription glasses that wont stay on her face to say something, she says 5 to 10 minute wait for a table. There are 6 cars in the lot one is mine at 12:30 pm. Ok ten minutes go by we see one girl walks off with three menus and three sets of silverware places them on an empty take. Anticipation killing us we think okay they are ready nope another five minutes the little girls are back looking down at a screen again. Standing in front of them had to wave my hands trying to get them to look at us I said loudly you just lost our business. Headed for the door looked back they were not fazed or concerned. Truly the worst experience we had in the over 6 years of dining here on a regular basis. Service was absolutely terrible beginning with the hostesses willingness to even attempt to find us a booth to sit at. My food arrived 6 minutes after the rest of my tables. The Gringo dip and waffle fries are amazing. Large portion as an appetizer. The Founders Breakfast Stout (beer) was quite good. Notes of chocolate, coffee and maybe a slight maple syrup flavor? It went very well with the Gringo dip! If I return, it will be for these two things. The food was a little more of a disappointment. The Chicken fried chicken was crispy and moist. The gravy was adequate but tasted like it comes in powder form and gets water added. The mashed potatoes tasted the same. If these things are made fresh in the store, there may need to be some training done. The only adult thing about the Adult Mac and Cheese was the price. It had very little flavor and nothing that made it special. I was excited about the Cheddar Biscuit because I love to make them at home. However, this one came to the table cold and still raw on top. I know sometimes cooking with cheese in bread it can look underdone but not be. That was not the case this time. It was straight up raw dough. The server, while sweet, didnt seem fazed or bothered when I told them.

I visited this restaurant with my family. Our waitress was polite, and the atmosphere is pretty cool also. However, I am very particular when it comes to my food, and I did not enjoy finding a piece of long hair on my plate. I can say the restaurant did bring out another plate, but by then I really lost my appetite and only took a few bites of it. My husband saw that I wasnt eating much so he didnt enjoy his meal either. It is my opinion that anyone working in a restaurant setting should wear a hair net so this doesnt happen and only leaving this review so management can think of better ways of ensuring food does not end up in customers food. While I understand that accidents do happen and Im sure this will be resolved, however, my family and I will not be returning to this particular location.

This place was pretty good the first 2 times we had it. This 3rd time, however, not so great. Im not usually one to give a negative review over one incident, but when it comes to not cooking the food correctly, I feel this deserves it. It is a food safety issue to not cook things thoroughly and no restaurant should allow improperly cooked things to come off the line and be served. Burgers were requested specifically with no pink and it was mostly pink. Do better, please.

Came in for happy hour and it went downhill from there. The server said all of the beers were included, but the ipa would come in a short glass rather than a pint. Started with a dogfishead, which tasted off and switched to a different beer after that. We ordered apps and meals. The French dip never came with au jus until the meal was over, just took the sandwich to go. The meat on the nachos was bland and really dry. Salad tasted like leftovers from a lunch buffet, but the tots were at least good. The only good food to touch the table. When we got the check, the server went to talk to the manager multiple times about us being charged full price on happy hour items, but the manager refused to honor what the server said abut the happy hour drinks. I ended up getting sick within 2 hours, either from the sour beer or the old nacho meat. This was an exceedingly bad experience, 2 stars only because I felt like the FOH folks with the exception of the manager who wasnt even willing to come over and talk to the table were nice. Do better. Truly, do better

The food was pretty good for the most part. Everyones chicken was kind of dry. The Summer Chicken Salad (although good) was drenched in so much salad dressing that it was like eating soup. Next time, I know to order dressing on the side. The Artichoke Spinach dip needs more cheese and less spinach. The atmosphere was great, my grandson loved seeing all the animals on the walls and the race cars hanging from the ceiling. Kid-friendliness: Has a great kids menu. I told the server my brussel sprouts were not cooked- not even a little bit. He brought out the new cooked sprouts. They were not cooked either (hard and unchewable). They charged me $5.00 for a new side... The decor here is always fun and interesting. Staff are prompt and nice. Nothing to complain about when it comes to the food, and they have quite a few options. They have a decently large selection at the bar and always have something sort of game on the TVs. My only knock on this review is that our waiter this last visit was a bit slow on every interaction. May have been overbooked, so possibly not the waiters fault. This isnt a common occurrence here in my experience.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We were told our party would be sat within 30 minutes. A large party of 15 left close to that time that could have been split to accommodate the two parties that were waiting. When asked if we could split into two tables to be sat quicker, they acted as if it was an imposition, motioned to two bars tables by saying I guess we could sit there and told us that we could not move the tables (literally looked like they were bolted to the ground). As a party of 9, we expected a wait, but the hosts did not do their jobs to stop seating larger tables that could be combined. They were clueless on how to run a host stand and lacked problem solving skills needed to successfully seat tables quickly. The service was well below par from the minute we walked in, they need to hire experienced staff and/or train the staff they do have. They did not care one bit about our experience, and sat behind the host stand chatting instead. While we expected nothing but a table to sit at to eat, the staff did not offer a single apology and each time we asked about our table, we were brushed off and ignored. This is NOT the place to go if you have a party larger than 6, and their staff is not trained in customer service.

The appetizers were really good. We tried the fried pickles and queso with chips. I had ordered a Cherry limeade. Everything was just the perfect amount of sour and savory. I had a little trouble with my chicken fried steak. It was really chewy and veiny. Hard to chew. I personally didnt like the Mac and cheese either. But everything else was delicious. Our waitress was really good at her job considering there were seven of us. The atmosphere is really homey and nice. The restrooms were nice and clean. Definitely worth checking out. The food came to the table really quick. Everything was hot and warm. My boyfriend ordered the devils Den burger and wished it was just a little bit spicier.

Well . My Husband and I went about 1:30pm. We left at 3:23pm! The steak was horrible and the macaroni and cheese was worse!!! I think the only part of our meal that was decent was the broccoli! Our waitress was sweet but I just can t get over the wait time for our meal. We should have just paid for our drinks and left. Sorry but we will not be back. Hope your experience is better than ours.

Wasnt super loud, we could see the games we wanted on the TVs without needing to request one or talk over each other. The service wasnt extraordinary, but it was acceptable. The food was, ehhh... we had the Shrooms and cocktail drinks only. Now mind you, we DID read the description, so fried jumbo mushroom caps were thinking some big Baby Bellas, maybe Monterey or basic white mushroom caps... nooooo, they sure are Portabella mushroom caps- 4.... well okay, we didnt ask so luckily it was just 2 of us. Cream cheese garlic & herb- well the way the caps are served (plated), theyre presented fried side up... so this garlic/herb cream cheese is plate side down and way over stuffed with the mixture that it was just toooo much (even for this lover of all kinds of cheese anything)... the horseradish dipping sauce was masked by the mixture and it was ACTUALLY pretty good by itself. I guess bottom line- less is more ^^^This ISNT going to prevent us from going back, but we most definitely wont be ordering that item again. Overall rating ½

One of my favorite restaurants! I had a gyro for lunch on this trip & sweet potato fries (eat the fries with their ranch dressing - yum!) My plate was absolutely beautiful & delicious! I shouldve taken a picture! Salmon is the usual been going to 54th street for years, house salad is yum. Now Salmon used to have a sauce with it that was so delicious that just made the salmon dish the most perfect plate. Last few times I have not seen or had that sauce come with my salmon plate. Deflated my passion for this restaurant so we dont go that often anymore. Seriously that sauce takes the salmon to new heights - go back to adding that salmon sauce.

It is one of my favorite places to go to eat. They have a spinach dip that is exquisite. The food is always delicious in this place and the service is very good. The waiters are super friendly. It is a good place to watch sports because it has many screens. Additionally, I love its decoration, of all the branches I have visited I have loved the decoration.
