Let me start by saying I lived in India and can make Indian food from scratch authentically. This is the best, most authentic Indian food I ve had since I was last in Vizakhapatnam. The flavor is delicious, naan is fresh, rice is the perfect texture, and prices were great. The chicken tikka masala lunch combo came with an aloo masala, rice, and naan for $13.

The website menu is impossible to access! Theres a popup demanding you choose pickup or delivery and it wont go away. What is the meaning of this? We dont need to be pressured and coerced into starting an online order! How cheap and tacky.

Was in Texas for my business trip far away from Nepal. I was searching for some Nepali cuisine. Me and one of my friends living in Texas went to this restaurant. Food was amazing. We tried some Nepali dishes including momo. Customer service was beyond compare. I went twice here during my stay and had really a great time. A perfect choice for the Nepali and Indian foods. The food is amazing here! The waitress is always ready to help. The chicken lollipops and chicken korma are my go to items. Ive been coming here for months now and I find myself coming in at least once a week now. God Bless this place!

We are from NY and love Indian food and could not resist trying this place while in Edinboro. It was some of the best food we ve ever had! The meals were fresh and flavorful and potions were generous for the price. We sat outside and had a nice view of the lake with excellent service.

I had the tandoori chicken and it was delicious. The dining area feels a little bit small. The staff were welcoming kind and accommodating hosts. I would like to see them put out some sampler plates so you can get an idea of different options. I think I would be more likely to return and recommend. Thank you

Average place to enjoy Indian food and with nice music. In Detail: We tried cool non-alcoholic drinks, appetizers & main course. In drinks, we tried Masala Soda which contains more Masala but was good and Mango Lassi which was too sweat and not fresh! We picked kothari paneer momo s which were not freshly made but good crisp taste. Tadka Daal was good and fresh, malai kofta was okay in taste. Garlic Naan is good and recommended, we also tried Bullet Naan which was filled with green chillies (that s what we tasted and served). Vegetarian options: Must Try Garlic Naan with Daal.

I do not know what had happened to this place . There was time I used to go here so often. The food doesn t taste the same authenticity has disappeared . My paneer curry had so much oil , so much and only few paneer. I had to throw it. I am not usually a person who goes and write bad reviews . But today when I was trying feed my child food from here , I felt so guilty and felt responsible for it. This review is here so the owner sees it and improve the food quality and when that happens I will be very happy to remove this review. This review is on behalf of everyone who feels this way.

Nepalese momos here is not good at all, if that s what you re looking for. I had ordered goat momo and chilli momo at two different occasions and both the times they were actually kinda trash. The chilli momo was super dry and the steamed momos were nothing like Nepali momos. If you want to try Nepalese restaurants, I would recommend any other restaurants around dfw except this.

Chicken Tikka is 5 star here and the freshness of naan too. I can trust only Everest for tikka masala. Chow Mein is awesome, it gives me authentic Nepali taste, MOMO are bland and awful, the taste of Momo is just not juicy or there is no taste in Momo at all. 1 Star for the Momo, i will not order Momo. Their chef special dry Manchurian is awesome, perfect appetizer to start. Place is kind of small so when it is busy you have to do a waitlist which is understandable. So plan early on weekends busy/ holidays. ambiance is okay SO-SO, not that wow vibes coming in when you enter, service is good, but when the restaurant is busy, server are here and there and have to actually hunt them and look for if you need anything or refilling your drinks. Usually when they are not busy they do check on you, but when they are busy, they fail to come and ask if anything is needed. Overall i would recommend people to come here and eat. There are GLOWS and there are GROWS... food is good.

The chicken chilli momos are a must try! The food quantity was generous and I loved how stuffed the momos were. The chilli sauce was flavorful. It wasn t spicy at all for medium spice level. Update: Weve since tried this place again and its better than I remembered. Bumped from 4 to 5 stars. Its a staple for us now! We tried a few dishes, and everything was good and most entrees were nice and spicy. My choice was the Tikka masala, which was the only meal that I think could have used more spice. Its a bit different than Ive had it before at other restaurants - very sweet and nutty. Still, one of the best Tikka masalas Ive had in east Plano / Allen and I enjoyed it overall.

Food is really very good! Good taste and spiciness! The only thing which kind of disappointed me was quantity or portion sizes. We ordered paneer chili as appetizers and Paneer Kadhai for main course. The amount of protein in both dishes as very less and had big chunks of bell peppers , tomatoes and onions . Everest has a mountain of delicious flavors. Im not even kidding. If you like authentic Indian cuisine, welp, you know what to do! Horrible experience... Bought Chicken fried rice and chicken lollipop as a take away order. While the chicken lollipop was average, the fried rice was as bad as it can get.. It was cold, dry, no herbs or spice, no taste, the chicken bits were tasteless and stale (was hard and black).. plus we suffered a bad stomach the next day... Everything here is so tasty, if you are a Nepali-indian food lover, then you wont go wrong with everything. The secret manu is the Himalaya clear soup, its not on the Manu, but you wont regret it.

Firstly, There is nothing Himalayan about this restaurant and most importantly the place is dirty and STINKS. Avoid yourself a horrible food poison situation and look for another place. DFW area has tons of good Indian restaurants around.

I was there with family (with kids). I would not recommend as kids friendly if you are looking for family environment. However Butter Chicken was really good and Butter Naan was also very good, actually lot better than most of the Nepali/Indian restaurants from local area. Stay away from Mutton Mo:Mo. Its a total waste and rip off. It literally taste so horrible, never seen such worse in taste and appearance, my wife vomited right after one in mouth. And Orange Kulifi was A+ !

Very nice ambiance inside.. The service was great and super fast. We were here for dinner with friends. Had a great time.. The food was excellent except the momo achar needs little bit more flavors of spices to it..The mutton biryani was superb with great spices and taste.. Would say had the best biryani ever. Would be great if you guys add Nepali thali in menu as well..

Doesn t taste anything even near Himalayan or Nepali food. Everything has South Indian hint. The momo chutni was literally the South Indian tomato chutni.

I got 2 entrees, 2 appetizers, 1 beer, bread and 2 desserts all for $60 and the portions were HUUUUGE. The service is great she gave me water everytime I wanted it and I was greeted with smiles and the ppl there are so nice. The price is phenomenal and the food is fantastic. Definitely going to become a regular. Vegetarian options: They have vegan options Dietary restrictions: Perfect for diets bc they offer rice or no rice if you are trying to cut your carbs

The restaurant seems very underrated. If I knew of this place before, I wouldve eaten here many times already. The food is amazing, the staff are nice and accommodating. The biriyani is a little bit spicy as they dont offer mild, only medium as the least spice level, however it has alot of flavor and is soo good. We got extra food to enjoy at home, cant wait til we return again to try more of their menu.

The air was put but this didnt stop people from coming in to sit and eat. I got the Tikka Masala with medium spice. It was no where near what hot. Whatever my husband got was suppose yo be spicy but was red pepper flakes so a true spice at all. Based upon the reviews we came from Addison. But probably wont go back. Underwhelmed for the drive.
