I really enjoyed this place, even In the hundred degree weather it was freezing cold. Really clear water, good place for kids teens and adults, dog friendly ,Tube rental, all that good shi Playground: This playground aint it do better Toilets: Clean ish, the floors were wet and slippery and it stunk like booty Dog-friendliness: Nice place for dogs to swim saw about 4-5 people with 1-3 dogs each

My favorite place in San Marcos! A crystal-clear spring-fed river and plenty of grass to lay it on. Pecan trees if you want shade. Rent a tube from the Lions Club. All proceeds go to local charities.

It is my childrens favorite river, the staff who rent the inflatables are super friendly, cordial, and understanding, they helped me in a situation with a purchase. The river is very cold, I love it! It is perfect crystal clear. I visit it every year

Such a great place to visit with walking trails, great access to the river, play grounds for the kids. You can rent tubes, and float the river. There is even a bus to bring you back, really something for everyone. Pet friendly as well!!

I love this place. Has a great walking path and plenty of spots for recreational sports. If you go when its not too crouded the water is crystal clear and its so relaxing being out there floating on the river. Playground: Im not a child but if I were the playground would be tops. Toilets: Theyve got a few restrooms around the park. Theyre not completely gross. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of places where your dog can play and they have dog waste stations throughout the park

Its very nice to spend the day with your family and friends and you can swim in the San Marcos River Dog-friendliness: You can walk your dog but it has to be on a leash. Picnic area: There are lots of nice places to sit and have a picnic and there are areas that have small BBQ grills to use.

We loved it! Spent $0 and had a blast whole afternoon in 72 degree water under 101 degrees weather! -bring your own tube. River is smooth and relatively calm -bring your own snokle goggle. A beautiful place to take my family for a fun trip outdoors. There is a park, restrooms, and plenty of room to hop in the river. Wide open spaces to set up towels and a cooler on the banks. The water is always cold. Great spot to bring your dogs!

The place is nice, slipped on steps as soon as I got there because of some green stuff growing on it and hurt myself so I could not stay long. Maybe they should clean the steps with something to stop the growth of algae??

Free parking! Launched my personal kayak here and was pleasantly surprised to get parking by mid morning on a Saturday. Water was refreshing and clean. Can get crowded with tubers as the day goes on.
