This place reminded me to back home Colombia the atmosphere was exactly what a hungry human wants for its breakfast, the service was outstanding for not saying more and OMG! The food was out of this world, I definitely ask a lot when to breakfast it comes, and this restaurant deserves a 10 out of 5. I hope everyone can enjoy breakfast as much as I did here. I know the lady who owns spicy biting Kyle and when I found out that she was related to the people who own this location in San Marcos, I had to go try the food. I was not disappointed. I LOVE this place, when they say homemade tortillas they are not kidding! They load up the taco and that is my favorite part! And you have to try or at least see the super tacos! I took my godmother there and she knows good food and good tortillas! She loves it! Thank you the Palms for this place, I will be back like always

Best Mexican food in San Marcos, the queso is always a must. Atmosphere would be higher if they had more seating and the heater on during the winter. Service is either one star or five no in between depending on your waiter. Today they seemed annoyed we were there, last time it was like we were long lost friends. And just a heads up for all - they now charge 50 cents for to go containers, which is something I never heard any place doing before.

I ordered chicken soup cause my husband just came out of surgery.when i got home to find out it had pico de gallo who the hell puts that on soup mixed maybe on the side. as extra but not inside the soup. and I ordered cheese enchiladas got chicken.oh my god was i pist long day at hospital and then to deal with food too. and the girl who took my order i don t think she understands English i repeated myself 3 times

My first time....greeted with a warm and friendly smile (Emily). Emily represents awesome customer service. She was very patient and would be the reason Id do a return visit. I ordered the sourcream enchiladas with fajita chicken, and received shredded chicken with some sort of yellow cheese sauce. I didnt pay attention to that whilst I was in the restaurant, however I blame myself because the excellent customer service was unexpected and caused a slight distraction. Tips: Quality control checks before dispatching the food.

This used to be one of my favorite spots to go to in the morning for breakfast, but as of lately I d rather go anywhere else. It s been 2 days in a row I spend over $50 on tacos and they get my order wrong and that s fine but when I tried to tell the lady that works the register she wants to argue with me about it or try and say they didn t charge me for whatever when it s clearly shown on my receipt that I paid for it. Over all just not worth it. Expecting to pay for what I order then having to argue with someone, and get attitude for their mistake. She didn t even want to honor it had to hold up my receipt and point to it for them correct their mistake, and then just get a halfass whatever was missing given to me in a bowl. So over this place. Won t be going here for a while. Needs new employees or something because that s ridiculous.

My husband and I got the gordita plates. We were so disappointed. The Gorditas had no flavor very bland. No seasoning whatsoever. We had it before . It has been awhile since weve eaten food from the Palm. The Gorditas fell apart you couldnt even enjoy eating it.

My 17-year old nephew suggested this place and he was correct. It has a family atmosphere. There were tables for larger groups. The staff was friendly but busy. Camr in about 2pm, was told to seat ourselves. Party of 2, waitress brought a menu, and took drink order, brought drinks and chips and never came back. Restaurant had 3 other tables occupied but as wr sat and waited the other tables started to fill up. All other guests were being Waited on and orders taken and we were never approached again. I had to leave. So I asked for a to go cup and asked that they please take my fathers order so be could eat but that wed waited 25 mins an our waitress never came back. Reminded me why I dont like going there. Service needs to improve.

Best Mexican food that Ive had since I have been in this area. Thats saying a lot because theres a lot of good mex food around here. But, the price, the quantity, and the quality of this food are by far the best Ive been able to find. The service is great, and the atmosphere is nice. I am a little bit conflicted about telling you this because its already getting around, and theyre getting busier and busier. Its a place that I definitely think you will like, its not a fancy place, so dont get all dressed up, but its very clean and comfortable.
