Disappointing Customer Service. Purchased tickets to see Triston Marez on 5/3/24. Received an email from Cheatham Warehouse on 7/25/25 that Triston Marez would not be playing at Cheatham Street Warehouse, and I could request a refund. Sent several e-mails to the contract provided for refund with no response. Called Cheatham Street Warehouse several times with no voice mail and the only option was to call back later. Showed up for the alternative show on 8/31 and told the representative checking tickets that I had e-mailed and called to try to get a refund for the change in show and he said they were bad about that, and I should talk to the manager who was not available. I pretty much felt that now one cared that I would have like to see Triston Marez, did not what to see the replacement actions and could not get a refund for no fault of my own very frustrating. Would have been OK if the replacement bands were like Triston Marez, but that was not the case. Drove home disappointed in Cheatham Street Warehouse listening to Triston Marez. From the signs in the place, it is pretty much a drunk dive bar. Do not feel the current version of the bar is up to the history of the bar.

How does the bartender expect to get a tip when he has an attitude. He served me water and it had something in it and I asked for another. He looked at me and rolled his eyes. I also had a tab and he expects a good tip. Not here.

Went for Giovanni and the hired guns concert on July 14th. This place provides an up close and personal experience with whatever you came to see. Sounds are a little tight in such a crowded place and it runs hot in there but they keep the drinks cold for and theres plenty space to cool down outside and take a break! Well be back for a other show when we come float the river next year!

What a great evening out at Cheatham St.s Kent Finlays Songwriter Circle every Wednesday 9pm - midnight (depending on # of musicians) watching multiple songwriters (of all genres) singing & playing from the soul. Supporting each other in their pure love of music with no judgement. Thank you to the owners, managers, bartender and sound guy (James?) who spend every Wednesday evening giving musicians a safe place to share their stories and songs. THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT!!

The late Kent Finlay, dubbed the Godfather Of Central Texas Songwriters still rings prominent every Wednesday Night, set aside for Songwriters Night. The history of Cheatham Street Warehouse holds its place with a open venue to newcomers of the music industry. George Strait tops the long list, that have step on the Stage of opportunity, with Kents encouragement..

My husband & I stayed for over 4 hours & our drink tab was less than $30. Our tickets for the band were only $10 each. So, a full night of entertainment for around $50. Would highly recommend.

Paid for a concert, and watched bands tune their instruments and do mic checks. What a rip off. The place had a nice vibe, kinda like a dive bar meets Elks Club, the staff were very friendly, but charging for a concert then not having Christian Sparks play anything...and who does a Mic check at the end of their set...was there a set? Ticket said 8pm, but I heard only one complete song and a lot of tuning and left at 9:30pm. If I was too early, don t advertise a different starting time. I m still upset about this.

Spent $70 on tickets for my boyfriend and I to see Koe Wetzel and Parker McCollum. Very disappointing, it was very boring and lame. You would think that for that price they would have a full band. Nope just them and their guitars. Its one thing to have a legend like George strait with just his guitar but, for a couple of unnamed douches, quite another. Ive been coming to Chatham street for about 8 years and I can say this is definitely my last time. Spend the extra $10 and go to Whitewater in new Braunfels!

Terrible bathroom situation, girls indoor bathroom has 2 stalls and the wait was half an hour no joke. Porta potties are in an alley and not enough of them. 20 minute wait and no way to keep people in line. Terrible lines at the bar, 30 minute wait in all lines. I went to the Koe and Parker concert and it was packed of course but I expected more from the bar since I believe it is owned by RR. It seems to be designed for college kids crowds only. Not much comfort or hospitality. Just a money making machine. Overall disappointed. Plus it turned out to be an acoustic show but not advertised as such. Tickets overpriced for an acoustic gig. We left half way through.

This place is fantastic! Read some reviews and Im just dumbfounded by some comments... If you want a brand new venue with brand new prices for your entertainment than head on down the road. If you want to walk into a place and everyone greets you with a warm welcome and cool beverage, than this is the spot! CSW has an eclectic group and I truly believe their success has been because of their continued drive for diversity. Ive been to alot of shows there.... From Scott Biram to WCG, Parker McC... Etc, however Ill admit my favorite times are when the no names show up and pour their heart and soul into performing for a handful of HH folks. The staff is spot on! Always anticipating a customers request and willingness to meet and exceed expectations. Please come in and join this extremely grateful patron for a cold beer.
