Some of these reviews below are wild and most likely falsely written by competitors or anyone that has lost a case to Sergi & Associates. David, Tony, Kyler, and the rest of the team at their firm are beyond professional and ore than you could ever ask for from a legal team. Never hae questions gone unanswered, court appearance not been productive, communication not been responded to... There have been so many communications they could have charged me for, and did not, out of straight compassion for their clients. They will fight for you and are worth every penny you have.

I hired this firm to assist me with a legal matter. The woman I agreed to work with unfortunately passed away. Before she passed, we agreed on her services and a price, which was $900. I confirmed with her that $900 was the price for the entire case, which she agreed, and she was so sweet and reassuring! We signed a contract reflecting our agreement and that price. After she passed, I tried to show consideration and be patient with them to get back to my case, but after months of waiting and several polite inquiries, I got fed up with the continual promises to get back with me (that they had hired a new lawyer, etc), only for that to never happen. I know they were in a difficult and unplanned position, but I had already paid them a large retainer, and if they werent planning to handle my case any time soon I simply wanted my money back so I could find someone who would. I finally called and got passed off to a male lawyer who informed me he was handling my case. Note that I had to keep working to even get that guy. I specifically stated that I wanted to work with a female several times, but that was ignored. He treated me like I was stupid and didnt know anything about my case or the agreements the previous lawyer and I had made for how the case would be handled. When I complained about his behavior, my unhappiness, not having a female to go to, and what was happening, I was told he was a great lawyer and I was in the wrong, he then tried to relate to me by saying he watched the Barbie movie. After a month or so, I got an email demanding THOUSANDS of dollars more (literally over $3000, and that wasnt even the last bill I got). When I asked why, they told me that was his price. I never agreed to that, nor was I ever informed of this mans prices or that I would be charged anything more than what I originally agreed on. They, again, were rude and told me I had to pay them. I got on the phone with the main guy again who, to his credit, eventually told me he would only charge me $2000 for the whole thing. While I was still very upset, I agreed to the compromise just to get things done. But did the bills stop after?? NOPE! The lawyer then proceeded to further delay my case (which I was repeatedly scolded on complaining about), caused problems, and did not do what I asked. By the time he had FINALLY finished my paperwork, SIX more months had passed. He then told me he had filed all of my paperwork with the court and was waiting for a response. After several weeks and no response, I finally went over their heads and called the court house directly, only to learn he hadnt filed the paperwork until a couple of days before my call and it was to the wrong department. So the man blatantly lied to me AGAIN! AND YET, they were still sending me bills demanding more money. I called them furious, got the secretary, told her I refused to pay them anything more, and relayed how awful and unethical the entire experience was. She said she would pass it along, and I never even got so much as a phone call to apologize or take any accountability. Now, I am trying to sell my house and realized the stuff with the deed wasnt handled. When I called them, they informed me the lawyer that handled my case was no longer working for them and it had slipped through the cracks and if I wanted them to file the rest of the paperwork I would owe more money; so I just decided I would go file it myself. Once again, there was no follow-up phone call apologizing. No offer of any kind of refund. Nothing. Now, just because Ive seen their replies to the other bad reviews claiming they cant comment on the case (while leaving passive aggressive comments), yet saying the review is wrong or not real etc, (because youre infallible, I guess, and everyone that has something negative to say about you is either lying or exaggerating just to what? Pick on you??) Please know this: I have several emails and screenshots proving what I am saying. I am a real former client. My first name on here isnt my legal first name, but it is what I go by. Done

Do not hire this attorney!!!!! he will steal your money and not even work hard towards your case. This attorney was quick to get my retainer fee but was slow to answer questions related to my case. Communication between him and his clients is terrible. He was rude and spoke to me in a judgmental tone when I informed him of details related to my case. This attorney is misogynistic and is not interested in getting the best results for his clients. He is a money hungry attorney who is not interested in actually helping his clients, instead he wants to make people feel less than him. He will talk to you like you are dumb if you re not a white man on his level. Stop scamming your clients and charging them thousands of dollars without even putting in an effort to obtain the results in the best interest of the client. You are better off getting an attorney from another city than this clown.

I find the reality of needing an attorney to be daunting. My procrastination, and fear, make me the worst kind of client. I wait until my situation is dire, and I ve run out of time. When There s nothing more I can do, and I have had to face the facts, that I am truly in need of legal counsel I reach out to Sergi law firm. Because David is a genius, and he has wisely chosen an office full of amazing, brilliant, and competent people I have always come out a winner! Every time! My experience:quick to take large retainer fee for this particular case but did not deliver. I understand results aren t guaranteed, but unfortunately this is about continued extreme billing on a case I barely spoke to the actual attorney about. Continued to charge me and supposedly make a call (with extensive charges) AFTER I had communicated with them in writing that I did not want to spend further money on the case. Their bill came in and I emailed firm to communicate my billing concerns immediately (per what they state to do if billing issues are noted-contact firm). Zero response from firm!! Was already gouged initially with large retainer fee for this case (that I was told should do the job and it INDEED should have covered their work and more). Unfortunately, job wasn t done by the appointed NON-attorney of firm. $$$$

This law group stated they would take my case. Did did no investigation whats so ever. They are like all lawyers now days. If it takes work and investigation they. Quit. Thats sad. I didnt contact no other attorneys becouse I had my trust in them all they did. Was talk to a detective. And that was all it took. Instead of doing thiere investigation calling company nothing. Took almost 2 months to te me they quit on my case. I will call the board. I coukda had an attorney. That would fight and investigate and just didnt take a detectives word. If you are working for me. Thats. Sad. Go some where else. If your case is gonna take work. Forget it. They just want the money from easy cases that require no work

Definitely recommend these guys if you want someone who is going to go above and beyond for you. Kyler and Tony we re almost always available and answered all the questions I had about the process. They kept me updated with every move they were making on my behalf and got me surprising results when it came to my difficult case. I am very thankful for this guys, David, Tony, and Kyler. When several other law firms said they couldn t do anything else for me, they took on my case and went above and beyond of what was expected. From the very first phone call they were very attentive and were honest in their opinions. Yes they were a bit pricey but they know exactly what they re doing and every penny was worth it. Every time I emailed them with a question or request they always responded within 30 minutes to an hour. Do not waste your time and money on other law firms that only try and settle for deals. Breathe I forgot to be thankful that I could breathe, until I was referred to HR. I had completed all job duties, including connecting to those I supervise. The new director was ready for change, hence my trip to HR. Katie gave me oxygen, texted & talked me through the exit process, let me have faith in myself & prevented all those second thoughts. The ones that wake you up at night overthinking. I m extremely thankful I connected to Katie and she was responsive and communicated as I needed (primarily texting). Had a hard time even finding an attorney to take our case due to interstate complications, but David Sergi returned our call immediately and offered a free consultation. He took the case and actually fought for justice. The whole team: David, Tony, Greg, and staff all contributed to a resolution. Do not waste your time and money with this firm! They charge more than regular firm under the premise that they do a better job, then do little to nothing for your case. My family has given this firm a few chances and each time nothing was accomplished for us. They stretch out court dates longer and longer just to charge more money. On multiple occasions I had to call them to check if I was still scheduled for court the next day, and no one seemed to know. If I hadnt called they would have missed my court date. Not to mention, I took time off of work to finally go to court after two years of rescheduling because we had talked just a week prior and they completely forgot and missed going to court when I showed up. They lied and said they rescheduled it, I double checked while I was in the court house and this was not the case. They finally rescheduled it later that day. Then they were rude about me asking how they were going to handle it. This is the most unprofessional of a business I have ever worked with. You are better off going with a court appointed attorney than using a firm as unprofessional and untruthful as Sergi and associates.

Sergi & Associates is a great law firm in San Marcos, TX. Very professional and does a great job of keeping clients up to speed on any updates and necessary information without overwhelming you. Anthony Fusco an attorney for David Sergi and Associates was my attorney for my case in Hays Co. He is an asset to the firm as he is one of the best attorneys to have represent you. He fought hard and WON! Mr. Fusco was honest and realistic about the possible outcome. He answered my questions honestly and knowledgeable. Didnt officially hire them, they provided me with enough information that I didnt need to - my ex had already filled for the divorce and i had defaulted since I had not shown. Thought I should of been notified beforehand, but I got what I wanted so why complain. Was very thankful for the information and advice they provided me. Would choose them again for any future legal matters, hopefully not related to divorce.
