We wanted to sit at the hibachi. However, the old lady at the hostess stand sat us at a table. It was our first time, and we werent sure what we were supposed to do. We told the waitress that we were confused because we wanted to be at the grill, and she just told us that we could take it up with them; pointing at the host stand. Service was very slow, even though it was not busy. We wanted to speak with the manager because there were some discrepancies on our ticket, which ended up being a misunderstanding. The manager said she was too busy even though she was leaning on the counter looking bored and not doing anything. The food was very bland and flavorless, even the sushi.

Just had to leave before eating - terrible customer service. Hostess couldn t be bothered to help us as she was too busy counting her tips and gossiping with coworkers. Then when we got seated as a party of four they left us with only one menu. We left before ordering because we like to eat out at restaurants where we are valued as customers and offered a pleasant experience - this restaurant definitely did not meet this bar.

Fantastic all around. The all you can eat sushi is a must try, everything is fresh and delicious and they have a couple of really tasty vegetarian options. The spider roll was my favorite of what I had and the edamame was delicious, definitely gonna be coming back. Our server was great.

Unfriendly hostesses both seemed lost. It took a while to get seated. Hostess said they could feed us but not in main cooking area then the waitress said they couldnt serve us where we were seated. Eventually ate and the food was great and the cook was friendly but the restaurant was not the cleanest. Update 2024 I had just mentioned to my husband. The food at Kobe is great, but the service is not so great. He s had his food for 20 minutes and I m still waiting to get mine because the waitress told me I didn t order it right.

Nothing like crickets falling off the roof right next to your food and on your table, and the staff having no response. Crickets were all over the floor crawling around and in people s booths. It s disgusting and sickening that they bat no eye to this issue. Food was bland and service was poor. Will not return.

Went on a busy Sunday night with friends for the All You Can Eat Deal. Less than a half hour wait for our party of four, they text you so you can walk around or hang out in your car if you dont want to sit at the bar. I didnt get the name of the hostess working but our server Kylie was amazing and so friendly! I had a pretty poor experience here last year but this visit made things right :) The chicken tsu-age roll is pretty good if youre not looking to eat fish

Honestly, I was disappointed with this place. We took my daughter there for her birthday and it was not a special experience. The restaurant was dirty and severely outdated. The booths were not in good condition. The plastic glasses looked like they were years past needing to be replaced. The server brought us sushi without wasabi. My husband ordered the beef teriyaki dinner and I ordered the NY steak dinner and Im pretty sure we got the same thing, despite the significant difference in price. The food was also mediocre tasting. We will probably try another place next time.

We had hibachi and the food was not good. This is definitely not the same food as they used to serve. The rice tasted freezer burnt and did not have the peas and carrots. The chicken was cooked in a different sauce. The price was ridiculous! $80 for 3 plates of chicken rice and vegetables with no appetizers and tea!!!

We ordered the market priced dinner of a filet and lobster at their grill. Been there several times and it s been pretty good. Not this time. We asked for medium rare meat. It came well done and the lobster was way overcooked. This was our anniversary dinner, too! I must say the sushi was good. Hibachi cooks are entertaining. Also, while I m at it, they only knocked 10% off our bill of one of their most expensive meal choices on their hibachi. No offer to cook another anything. Not happy at all when we left. Kid-friendliness: They allow well behaved kids. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to front door for wheelchair.

The food and chef at the Hibachi grill were amazing. Our server was mediocre. I expected some sort of explanation or recommendations from the server when I explained it was our first time. SERVICE is a 0/10! I swear the girls who work in here get ditzier and have lower IQs every year. Drove 25 min to get here after a funeral. I sat in here for 20 minutes by myself on a Wednesday afternoon during the slowest part of the day and no one ever came to my table. I finally flagged down a waitress and she said youre not my table but Ill take you. Brought me back a water with no straw. Gyoza with no chopsticks. And no napkins. First I get ignored and now Im supposed to eat like a caveman? Every waitress that walked by couldnt get to the front desk fast enough to gossip but couldnt bring me a napkin? Im not an ogre. Sushi has to be fresh & tasteful. In Kobe I ve found both. Moreover their service is very good. But remember, if you left more than 5 pieces of sushi in the plate, they will charge you some bucks! So eat as much as possible! My personal experience is, don t take soup or water much, so that you can eat sushi much . And it is good if you choose water instead of soda or any other beverage. It will make you feel good and refreshed.

Crowed, expensive, Sushi rolls are more buffet style, ending up dry. Impossible to enjoy most of the menu, you must pay for what you dont eat on top of the menu prices and you cant get the leftovers to take when you pay for what you dont eat. Disappointed - we were celebrating my daughters birthda, and went specifically for the grill and were even seated there, then the hosts came back and got us, saying that they had closed that section and no one told her. She said we could get the same food in the other (loud, crowded) side of the restaurant. We ordered... the steak was over cooked, the rice was dry, and there was almost no vegetables at all. Came in a few night ago with my family for hibachi. We stood there at the entrance while the hostess and servers walked right past us and said nothing until someone finally came to the front after a few minutes. A couple of the servers walking around didn t smile at all after making eye contact and smiling at them. They looked at me with an annoyed look on their face and seemed to be preoccupied with having chats with each other. Why are the servers walking around in tight crop tops and leggings? Was I at a sports bar? Anyways, the only good part of it was the gentleman who made our dinner in the hibachi area and the gentleman who actually waited on us. I think the girls need to work on their social skills, especially since their jobs are being servers and maybe start dressing a little more appropriate for a supposedly nicer family dining place because it doesn t even look like they have a dress code except to wear black. It just looks like no one there cares to look any type of professional. Other than that, the food was great

The food is pretty good. We love their sushi. Tonight we order to go food and upon arrival we waited in our car for over a half hour and our food still wasn t ready. It was a big disappointment. Some of our rolls although good looked rushed and thrown in the to go container. Normally I have nothing but good things to say about Kobe but today I was dissatisfied. We ordered 2 California rolls. Add cream cheese to both and one with no cucumber. To go. They came out and one didn t have cucumber. I was on my way inside to ask them to fix it when a lady (owner or manager?) stopped me and asked what was wrong. I explained and also said I wanted to go ask for some sauce and she basically told me that it wasn t a lot of cucumber they put in there and the chef does it that way because it s easier? I explained that that was not what I ordered and she was adamant that it was better to just accept how it was. I finally gave up and just accepted it and it wasn t that big of a deal but it s the principal of the situation. I wanted them the way I ordered them and I understand maybe she didn t want to have to have the chef remake one during lunch rush but that s part of customer service. Especially when it s regular customers.

Every order I placed either took over 30 minutes to come out or was made completely wrong. Each time the waitress came by she didnt care to ask questions or make sure our order was complete. Only cared to get away asap and take her dear sweet time coming back. The steak was overcooked. The rice was stale and the sushi had been sitting out so long it had become warm. To top it all off the manager himself seemed all to happy to rob me blind by still charging me for the incorrect un eaten items. Overall the worst experience Ive had and throughly made me lose my appetite.

We arrived for dinner and chose to be seated at the grill. I drink order was promptly taken and we ordered our meals. The staff was kind and attentive. Our chef was energetic and friendly. Our food was cooked in front of us with some fire theatrics. We notified them of a shrimp allergy and they were careful to cook it last so it did not mingle with the other foods. Once the meal was plated, it was on the saltier side. Condiments of yum yum sauce or ginger sauce were served generously. The serving size is large so look to take home plenty of food. We would return.

Kobe is my go-to place for special occasions at the grill tables but this time was by far the best! We had Rico as our cook and he was amazing! Best grill cook we ve ever had. He even gave me a birthday crown and lots of sake lol. We had a great time and we love Rico and kobe!

Took my friend there to have Hibachi for lunch for her birthday. We brought our kids because we had never been before and we thought they would enjoy the Hibachi show. My friend and I had been before and its always really fun! My daughter is disabled and she was quite excited to go see this as she has never been before While the food was good, the hibachi chef was apparently not having a good day that day or he just didnt feel like doing the show. There was absolutely no show. He walked out, cooked the food put it on the plate, gave my friend a balloon and left. Not a word. My friend asked the waitress why there was no show and she said some days he doesnt do it if he doesnt feel like it or if hes not in a good mood. Who allows their employees to decide whether or not theyre in a good enough mood to perform their job the way theyre supposed to? I paid $75 for lunch. We were very disappointed as it wasnt at all what we expected. To top it off when we got to the car my friend forgot her balloon inside and her little boy wanted it so she walked back in to get it and they had already taken it away. The chef refused to give her another one because he was pissed that we were not happy. The waitress got one from the manager and we left. I will say the waitress tried to make up for it. She was very sweet and gave us excellent service but the Chef had an attitude. I saved up to take my friend to an expensive lunch for her birthday and our kids were excited. If I just wanted an expensive steak lunch I could have gone anywhere. Like I said cant complain about the food but I wouldnt go back anytime soon especially not for a special occasion like a birthday or anything like that.

We come here frequently for all-you-can-eat sushi, and Kobe is consistently a fantastic experience. High-quality and flavorful sushi at a good price - particularly for the lunch hours. There is oftentimes a wait, especially at dinner, and it sometimes takes a while for the sushi to come to our table, but overall, I am more than pleased with my experience here.

Sushi was only decent. Lacks flavor and with only one guy making the rolls, the all you can eat is a drag if there s more than you ordering. Bartender spent more time on her phone than making drinks. Waitress tried her best but with a lazy bartender and understaffed with cooks there was nothing she could do the make the experience better. I won t be back there but something tells me they don t care.

If you have allergies, this definitely isnt the place for you. I asked them to put my rolls on a separate plate (veggie roll) ended up having to send it back no joke 4 times because there was masago on it. Its not hard to put saran wrap down and make sure not to get masago on the rice, they just kept saying it wasnt masago it was other ingredients (either way ones that dont belong on a veggie roll). I know better honestly I stopped coming here around a year ago for the same reason. Their agadashi tofu also comes differently every time I order it, sometimes with the sauce and sometimes without. Not worth it without. It just sucks they have very little consistency. Tldr: arent trustworthy for crosscontamination

If I could add a quarter of a star I would this place service is horrible. Waited 1 hour for a chicken fried rice appetizer. The all you can eat turns into when u can eat. I would never come back to this place, this used to be my families favorite spot but I guess these businesses love losing customers. I think nowadays for what you pay at these places its better to buy the good steaks and lobsters and stay home and cook. Its not worth it anymore to go out and eat the prices are jacked up for horrible service. Spoke to the manager and nothing was done!!! Goodbye kobe!!!

Pretty good place, I was actually surprised for all you can eat for under 100. Anywhere else is 200 to 300 easy. Plus, the waiter was amazing. The 3 of us had a blast!
