Olive Garden is just a good place to go to get consistantly good Itilian food. Its not the best in the area but it is just good food. The salad and breadsticks are great. The shrimp and scallop alfredo is good. The calamari is good. We also got the chicken alfredo which was good and had alot of chicken in it. If you want good Itilian food from this chain restaurant, you will get it. The service was good as well as the atmosphere.

So a year later Im reviewing this place again....I ordered the tour of Italy. The pasta was crispy, lasagna was all ricotta, and no meat sauce. The chicken parm didnt have the spaghetti underneath it. I guess this place DOES NOT CARE anymore. Its a shame. Maybe it was just the crappy cooks at lunch, idk. Gonna rethink this place, Italian Garden is way better anyway. Oh ya...the bread sticks were hard as rocks today.

Food was okay for the most part, no major issues but nothing really stood out. We were served by 2 people, one of the waitress was Diana and the other was a man (forgot what his name was). Their service was good, appreciated how much they checked up on our table and made sure everything was going smooth and tried correcting any mistakes that were made. My major issue though is some of the silverware still being dirty. For example, one of the forks that was for me still had a little bit of food stuck on there, which was a little disgusting not going to lie. Food safety and sanitation in any kind of restaurant, in my opinion, should be one that is prioritized. Not sure what Olive gardens process is for cleaning all their utensils and dishes, but this issue may need to be looked into.

We were seated at a dirty table, we pointed it out to the host and she argued with us that it had been cleaned. I guess the leftover salad on the edge by my wife and the blob of goo in the middle of the table were decoration. The utensils were also dirty, something green dried onto my fork, we gave them to the server and she failed to bring us clean utensils. I sent this review to Olive Garden corporate and received a reply that the management would contact me in a couple days. two weeks later and no word from the restaurant. not surprised, the management needs to be retrained or replaced.

Clean outside with plenty of parking. Waited a few minutes before being greeted despite a hostess (who was on the phone but didn t even look up at us) at front desk and two servers having personal conversations right behind the front desk. We had chicken fettuccine Alfredo, salad, gnocchi soup, etc. Food was good as expected. Service mediocre. Not terrible but nothing memorable. Overall, it was fine. Would come back because Olive Garden food is usually pretty consistently good.

Jhada(similar to Sade) has got the most phenomenal personality, she is an awesome person. Our meal was so enjoyable, good was hot, fresh and delicious. The customer service is so slow. They didn t bring the appetizers, they missed a lot of what we ordered, they didn t have candles for the birthday cake, we ask for extra Alfredo sauce and it came in after the dessert when we were all done eating, and they didn t put cheese on our plates.

The Olive Garden in San Marcos is a great place to enjoy a family meal. I want to give a shout-out to a server my family has had several times; Aidan is always friendly and provides service that is often well above the average quality of service at other places. I am sad to say that today I have experienced my worst time at Olive Garden. I had to suffer through dirty dishes and improperly prepared food. It was disgraceful. The only positive I can admit is that the waiter was OK. With the food I m not sure if it was old or just undercooked, but it was horrible. My lasagna was most definitely burnt in my Tour of Italy meal.

I looked up Olive Gardens closing time (10 pm) before I placed an online order tonight. Completed the order before 8:30 pm & it generated a 9:30 pm pick up time. Cool. My husband drove 45 minutes to get there. As he is pulling into the parking lot at 9:22, my phone rings with an employee letting us know that they are out of the soup that we ordered. (All that we ordered was the soup & breadsticks) Uhh, what? The gentleman on the phone did offer to get us a different flavor of soup or refund our order, but was rather rude about it. I asked to speak to a manager. The lady that answered repeated the same thing he said, but in a tone equally as rude, if not worse. I explained that my husband drove 45 minutes to get there & will now be driving 45 minutes to get back home, and without dinner. They had a whole hour to call me to let me know they were out of the soup, instead of waiting less than 10 minutes until the pick up time. She then hung up on me, mid conversation. It wasn t a dropped call, because she didn t attempt to return the call. Not what I would expect from management. We dine in & order to go from the San Marcos location frequently. The last three times we ordered to go, they have dropped the ball in different ways. I held back from a bad review because everyone makes mistakes every now and then. But this was just too much.

Still sitting in restaurant on Mothers day. Checked in early through their app. Had to wait another 35 min. Then got seated and waited 10 minutes to be noticed. Vanna is one of the BEST bartenders we ve ever had! Incredibly welcoming, friendly, personable and professional. Made us feel super comfortable during our first time sitting at the bar and offered warm bread while we sipped our drinks & waited for our to-go order. I would have this place rated higher if it is not for the subpar service. Went in there during a quiet Saturday afternoon around 2PM. Was promptly seated after getting in there, server came up and took the order shortly after we were seated. However, that was the server decided to go on being in missing in person mode. The server never really bother to check on us for refill or if everything is ok after the appetizers come out, and our food didn t come out until about 30 mins later after the appetizers came out. If it is during a busy restaurant hour I would understand, but during a quiet afternoon hour where the restaurant is not even half full? That s totally unacceptable. Moreover, after the food finally came out, we had to ask the server three times for some chill pepper flakes, during this time the server actually pass by a couple time helping the table next to us but never bother to bring us what we need. By the time he finally brought it to us, we were actually almost full and ready to pay and leave. Again, the food was not bad, just the service needed to be a bit more attentive.

I forgot our waiters name but he was a complete saint. The food was good we just didnt get to the main entree. Which was fine he packed up our food for us making our lives easier. This visit was better than last. Very attentive server. Food tasted much fresher. Older visit: Bland food and slow service. My shrimp scampi had no flavor and very few vegetables. The lunch portion was slopped into a much too small bowl with no attention to the presentation. The zuppa tosca rated like it had been sitting around too long. Thank goodness for the bread sticks and salad.

We went tonight and had great service! The manager Joe checked on the customers to see how everything was. My boyfriend also dropped his napkin and Joe went and got him a new one before we even noticed it fell.

Overall, it was very good. The eggplant was cooked perfectly, and the soup was good. It was surprising that I was offered freash grated cheese when my soup came out, a soup that isnt really complemented by cheese, but wasnt offered any when my egg plant came out. The bread sticks were a little hard, the way bread gets after being heated in a microwave. Over all, not bad at all.

The Waiter Danny was amazing by taking our orders to bringing drinks asking if we needed anything and checking up on us while we ate.. Food Was So Delicious Perfect Warm And Didnt take long at all..

Olive Garden is my daughters favorite place to eat. Every year, we get their food for her birthday. Everything is always super yummy. We get the tour of Italy with the zuppa Toscana. Its always so much fun that we end up with leftovers.

The manager ruined a celebratory lunch for me and my girlfriend. The dining room was not hospitable. They clearly dont want paying guests to feel welcome here. I felt completely uncomfortable after two creepy, random non-paying, non-eating, non-drinking, non-customers and non-employees were seated next to us in the dining room. They clearly dont want paying guests to feel welcome here. Not recommended. Parking: Very little parking during peak hours.

Food was horrible cheese ravioli with chicken strips and the cheese crumb was nasty and dry and you only get 4 ravioli not a good amount of food for the price I will not recommend it to anyone or even the restaurant to anyone way over priced for the amount of food you get and not that good so thanks

Great service, nice and quiet, no errors or forgotten items, prompt drink refills, delicious soup and breadsticks. Chicken marsala, shrimp alfredo, and kids meal were all perfect. Not a bad thing to say. (except maybe that it was a bit pricey, but isnt everything now?)

we went on graduation night, and they not only had immediate seating but they also had our food out hot and fresh before we even finished our soup and salads. no other restaurant in town had a wait less than 40 minutes.

Andrew and I always enjoy eating at Olive Garden. We enjoyed it for many years in California and now here in Texas.My favorite soup is the chicken and gnocchi and Andrew s is the Zuppa Tuscano.We have also enjoyed a variety of different menu items over the years that keeps us coming back for more.
