Be ready for the hills and stairs. Pretty steep incline up. Happy to return to my alma mater with my honey! TSU-San Marcos (SWTSU) helped lay the foundation for my life abilities and accomplishments.

A pretty and iconic building on campus. If you re one for history or unique buildings this place has a little bit of both. If you re a Texas State student you ll surely have fond memories of its architecture. And the view of the hilly campus from inside is quite the sight.

One of the most beautiful places in campus. It is high up the hill but dont feel like youre climbing with the beautiful architectural setup. The building itself is gorgeous with a pathway of beautiful trees, benches, flowers, and statues of LBJ and Cowboy which is very beautiful overall! The senset is mesmerising at this place.

Iconic Old Main is a must see while you are at Texas State University s campus. Bare in mind that the campus is pretty hilly, so bring some comfortable walking shoes while exploring the area. If you are into taking pictures, there are lots of great spots to capture a great picture!

Texas State has a beautiful campus with trees and history. Was very nice to walk the campus - be prepared for hills! Has a great view from Old Main. You can really see how much the campus has changed over the years and it is continually being upgraded and improved on.

Old Main exudes a type of authentic energy and class that one normally only reads about in history books. While the facade and roof received a make over a few years ago, the interior has a worn sensibility. Not in a tired and dilapidated way, but worn from the footsteps of thousands of dreamers and doers and optimists. Old Main is an old place that is valued for its history and its constant and current utility. Rising above the surrounding topography, this iconic building is a symbol of Texas State, the rising star of Texas.
