We have been to TY only a handful of times and we have enjoyed the food every time. I have typically gotten the Big Ben Omelet and hubby likes the Benedicts. The Churro Donuts are delicious and come warm to your table! The atmosphere is great and we got to meet the manager on one of our visits who was very hsopitable and told us that he hopes to have more events for the afternoon/evening crowd. We have also brought family visiting us for the weekend, who have also enjoyed it. We had gone over Labor Day wkend once and they were sadly short-staffed due to people unexpectedly calling in sick but, the food was still delicious although it was slow. I would go more often but, we live in RR and itd a drive to get there for us. (RR is in desperate need of more breakfast spots, btw)

I was with a party of 3, and none of us are picky. Nobody liked their food. Even the pancakes were bad, and the fruit bowl had mushy, gross fruit. The soup tasted canned. Definitely not worth the price, and we wont be returning. The hash browns and the omelet were great. The service was good.

This place is too focused on drinks to remember they also sell food. Their food is mediocre and Ive had better for way way cheaper. When I looked at the one-star reviews I agreed with almost all of them about the food quality. For me personally the staff seems pretty nice.

We waited 40 minutes to be seated then we waited another hour to get our food. The server brought everyones food except mine and she told me to order something else bc they were out of brisket. I could not imagine waited more time for them to get a new order back to the kitchen. DONT waste your time coming here!

My husband and I really love the food and atmosphere here but our experience with our waitress this last Saturday was terrible. She looked very unhappy to begin with, took our order and kind of disappeared. Our food took quite a long time to come out and she never checked in with us. Other runners delivered our food and she came by once to ask if I needed another drink but did not ask the rest of the table if they needed anything. We had to go up to the bar to get our drinks because she just completely vanished. The name on the receipt said her name was Tabitha but I am not sure how accurate that is. Very sad because we do love coming here but that service was pretty awful.

Just finished spending $53 on an inedible breakfast. The chicken fried steak was all salt, the hashbrown casserole was mushed potatoe puree, the eggs were the only edible food on my plate. My wifes fruit had brown grapes that were rotten, Her omelet had uncooked green peppers and almost no other toppings, her gluten free toast was brought out late barely toasted, and so cold the butter wouldnt melt, he hashbrown casserole was the same as mine. Coffee was tasteless and watery. Server was new but nice, told us about having to dig through the fruit to find unspoiled fruit. Place has gone down hill since it opened.

So disappointed in the Manager at Toasted Yolk! I highly recommended the restaurant to my daughter and her boyfriend today. They got their food and in the fruit cup there was hair and lint. It appeared that the fruit had fallen on the ground and was scooped back into the cup and served. When pointed out to the server she took it to the manager and the manager played dumb and pretended that she didnt understand the issue. After being persistent eventually they begrudgingly offered a 5% discount. These things happen however the behavior of the manager was disappointing. My daughter and her boyfriend should not have had to spend time and effort on what should have been a quick apology and a new fruit cup. Not a way to keep your loyal customers!

I love the mascot egg. I think its so fun! The menu was unique and creative. The brisket tacos were delicious and cooked well. I loved the blueberry cake donuts. The yolk which left much to be desired, was a miss for me. Also you get a fruit cup as your side with your meal and the fruits were awful lol. Beware if you want to eat some of the fruit they tasted off.

Wasn t fully warmed up either I had cold parts in my gravy which seems like it was microwaved. The biscuits were hard enough to break a window. Just absolutely horrible job on the simplest southern dish

We had a party of 6, with no complaints. The owner of the establishment came by our table to introduce himself and give us a rundown on specials, and things to come. Great guy; good luck and many years of prosper to him and his staff. All in All, great food, good people! B-Herring

We walked in with a group of 16 on a Sunday morning and the entire experience was TOP TIER! We were seated pretty quickly, the owner stopped by the table to greet us and the server was SUPER attentive while we dined. Our food came quickly and all together which was a surprise since our group was large and the restaurant was busy. And when I say everything was delicious, I mean EVERYTHING. Our entire group raved about the large portion sizes and how tasty the food was. To top it all off, a fellow diner (a lady and her son) paid for our entire table. Thank you to the entire Toasted Yolk staff for the exceptional service and the mystery woman and her son. We are super grateful and feel extremely blessed.

The food is awesome! I love it! The atmosphere is great for families! If you want to have couple brunch drinks Id recommend sitting at the bar. Today our service was bad. Dont let this keep you from experiencing the food bc its worth it... but here is our experience. We were there at lunch time. We ordered 2 cold brew lattes, she brought plain cold brews and a few minutes later a bowl of creamer. Later I asked for a water and it was a long time before she remembered to bring it, 15-20 min. It took 45 min to get our food, once she remembered the water, she said the food should be out shortly. She went right to the pick up window and brought it to the table. The grilled rye bread of my Reuben was soggy which tells me it had been sitting a while. The part that got annoying was our server was talking with other tables for long periods of time, and at times standing around instead bringing the water or checking on our food as it got soggy at the window. She also never once apologized for the long wait or forgetting the water. She didnt ask how the food was or return to the table after bringing it bc she could tell by that point we werent happy. In fact I had to get another servers attention and ask for the check bc ours just never came back. This was the first time I didnt tip anything in my life. Even just an apology for a poor experience wouldve earned something.

The service and atmosphere is great. The food needs some TLC. Both our egg orders were overcooked. Over easy and sunny side up should have 100% runny yolks. These two orders were Toasted! The English muffins are grilled in the same grease as all other meals so the flavor left a lot to be desired. Please, toast those and give us butter? The sausage patties and hash brown casserole was awesome. So, please change the grease often, turn back the heat, a lot, on the egg orders, and toast, not fry, the bread selection.

I was impressed with this breakfast/lunch spot. Great staff was quick with seating and drinks. My order needed slight alterations due to a sugar issue. The waiter remembered and made sure it was followed through with. I recommend the original Arnold and the French toast as both were delicious. The hollandaise sauce is fantastic, even after I learned it can from a supplier and not made fresh. The only thing that I would suggest improvement on is the coffee as it was acidic and bitter, which is probably coming from a very dark roasted bean. Dietary restrictions: The powdered sugar was left off of my french toast as requested. Parking: Strip mall location has plenty of places.

Their wait list said there no wait for a party of my size so I couldnt join it. However, when we got there we had to join the wait list. I tried to talk to an employee about it, but she wouldnt listen. Then another employee interrupted me while I was talking to her. A previous time we ate there, I had joined the wait list in advance, but it was a 45 minute wait longer than what their website had said when I joined.

Went on a Sunday after church with some mom friends (no kids). It was super busy but wait wasnt too long for a party of 4, maybe like 20 minutes. The place is cute and fun, the servers and hostess and staff were all really friendly and attentive. We ordered the West Coast Arnold (Eggs Benedict), a Golden Gate Omelette, Paloma drink, coffee, grits, iced tea, and hashbrown casserole. Everything was great! Unfortunately I didnt get any pictures of the food because I was too busy stuffing my face. They were showing Naked and Afraid on one of the tvs, which I didnt think was super family appropriate, although Im not sure if they claim to be, and obviously they blur everything out. If I had my littles there though, I would have asked them to change the channel. Lots of delicious menu options, they seem to have something for everybody! We will be back.

The food was good and there was zero wait time. I was afraid that getting there at 9 on a Saturday morning would mean a long wait but, even though there were plenty of people enjoying their breakfast, I was sat right away. I have Celiac and they have a dietary restriction menu that made ordering safely very easy. My only suggestion would be, and I know this is going to be niche so I get it if you dont care, if there was a fully GF pancake or waffle (or chicken and waffle!!!) this place would stand out as a go to place for breakfast/brunch. As it is, the GF options, while delicious, arent anything that I couldnt make at home for less. Dietary restrictions: Celiac/Gluten Free

It was really loud because they were busy. It didnt bother us, but it was a tad difficult to have conversations. We appreciated that the owner stopped by our table to ask how everything was and to thank us for choosing his restaurant. We will definitely go back, but maybe not at noon on a Sunday. Portions are oversized to make people overlook the pior quality. No real maple syrup. Just corn syrup maple substitute like most places. Rye bread was great. People are nice. Slow service.

Saturday morning at 10:30 - there was a line way out the door and probably an hour wait. Do yourself a favor and use the get a place in line app on Google - we were seated on arrival. The ambiance is fun and colorful. Our service was quick, friendly and on top of it. The food was outstanding and the portions were very generous. The owner stopped to visit and it is clear that he takes pride in this restaurant. Best brunch we ve had in a long time and we will definitely be back!

We went on a Sunday at 12:10pm. It was not busy and we ordered breakfast, like the rest of the people that were there. Took a little bit even though it was slow and the food was COLD. I had scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy and my husband eggs and 1 pancake. Food should be piping hot and steaming when it comes out. There is no reason that this cold. Find somewhere else to go maybe first watch of IHOP.

I really love this place, but if you order a coffee drink, be prepared to wait a solid 15-20 min just to get even a simple cold brew. For some reason, bartenders are responsible for pouring cold brew here instead of the servers. I d be happy to raise my review to 5 stars once they fix this unnecessary problem.

First time here. Ordered the two eggs breakfast and the avocado toast which also comes with 2 eggs. We asked for poached eggs medium. Unfortunately they made the eggs totally runny which kinda spoiled the taste. Orange juice was just something out of a box, not fresh. Hot tea (black) was good. Service was good as well. Just how the eggs were prepared kinda ruined it.

Updated review: I contacted the manager and she explained what had happened. She asked that we try them again and we did. The food and the service was amazing. We are so grateful that she took the time to make things right and we are glad that we went back. Fabulous management! We will be back for sure. Thank you Danielle (sorry if I am not spelling it correctly) Terrible experience here. Waitress was miserable and did not want to be there at all. Took our drink order but that was it. Never came back to take our order. We finally had to just leave. You get one chance to make an impression. We won t return.

Had a bad experience today 1st I asked for hashbrowns no cheese. The waiter did not mentioned that it came that way. Food was cold. Manager all she said I apologize didnt even comp the Hasbrowns since I had grits with my Deluxe Breakfast. Then went to the restroom. Waitress and hostess just lounging in the bathroom. The stall was awful it had poop stains all over the seat. If the girls were just lounging they should have checked the stalls. But no I had to tell them about it on top of that a worker was in the other stall for 30min and you could see her shadow she was just on her phone. Knowing that people were waiting to use the restroom.... The Manager did have it cleaned. I had to translate for the Manager she was not able to explaine to the other worker what needed to be done. This was the most awful experience. I had a great experience the 1st thats why we came back but after this experience I will not ever go back..... BEWARE of SERVICE.... ..

Only 1 of staff ever smiled, and that was the hostess when saying goodbye(she didnt smile when we came in). Not sure whats going on there with staff, but no one appeared happy. Never saw anyone who identified as a manager either Hmmmm.

The ambience is great but lacks food quality and service. One of the orders were southwest bowl with egg whites, it supposed to have quinoa but mostly seems like brown rice. The other garden vegetables bowl has similar problems, less vegetables and more rice. We had to wait 30 minutes after the order was placed which is bit annoying and it was not crowded.

To go order: Quite easily the worst biscuits and gravy Ive ever had. Gravy was all lumpy. Barely and sausage. Also ordered a cappuccino and it was only like 70% filled. So sad. Had high hopes. Maaaaaaybe Ill try it again and get better food if I dine in. I probably wouldnt be so mad if it was cheaper.

Before you can even enter this place get ready to get a workout trying to open the door. I ve never had to use this much strength opening a door it definitely needs adjusting before someone dislocates a shoulder The inside dining area has a cool vibe with the lime green accents and the coffee cups were also kind of neat. From there, I can say the service was good but I was not impressed with the food. The menu has a lot of great looking options but it was the breakfast I was after. I ordered the omelette (Western) which had ham and veggies and included hash brown casserole and a biscuit. I added an extra biscuit with a side of gravy. My impressions of the food was that there was no obvious love you could taste, it was just another meal. The biscuits were hard like they were just warmed, the little side of fruit was warm like it had been sitting out, the omelette was stiff and somewhat tasteless and the hash brown casserole was good but was pretty much like eating mashed potatoes with cheese. The portions of the hash browns and gravy were pretty small. The coffee was lukewarm which is a definite turn off for me. The prices here are definitely expensive for breakfast as well as the the other menu items. To say it was a value place would be far off. It cost $28 for my meal including tip which is very expensive considering the quality of the food. If I ever returned there it would not be for the breakfast!

The atmosphere of this place is great. So well put together and really feels upscale. The hostess was a cheerful person that forced a smile to give you a good greeting even though they werent in that mood. I had to give them credit for that. The server that we had was very polite and very prompt to take our drink order and then our food order. The menu has some amazing looking things. That is all the good about this place. The food was brought out by someone else besides our server which was good to make sure it was brought out fresh and hot but our server didnt show back up until we were half through our meal to see if we needed anything as they were talking to three other servers who also werent paying attention to their already seated customers. The food was forgettable. It had no flavor to it whatsoever. Was really disappointed as the food looked so good on the menu. The hash browns were not fully cooked for either plate that was ordered. The server saw this and didnt say anything about it so guess that is how it is supposed to come out. For two people we paid $50 with a tip included but really didnt get our moneys worth out of it. Any of the other breakfast places are so much better than this one. The Republic, Jims, Perky Beans or 1431 you always feel like you get what you pay for. Waffle House you get what you pay for which is good food with a specific taste from their place. Toasted Yolk you are paying for the atmosphere and just be glad for that as their food has no memorable taste and you think some of it is not even cooked properly. Will not be going back as there are plenty of other great places to enjoy a good meal with a great atmosphere. Parking: Parking is decent for the area. On busy weekends you will park a little further out especially on a Sunday when the church crowd gets out. Tried to go on Sunday but the wait was long. Went on a Tuesday morning and there was zero wait and plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: They were really kid friendly. The restaurant is good for families of 4-6.
