Since you all do not answer your phones I ve had to resort to this just so you know why you have ended up with extra food sitting on the counter and may be wondering where it belongs. It belongs to me. Yep, Y ALL forgot HALF of my order on your counter and I got charged full price for my meal. I got this through take out and my husband couldn t ask questions because there are only two employees. Like what? So since I couldn t get anyone on the phone I ll just leave my finger shaking here. It just really sucks. Bad experience and I will just try a different place next time. Oh and No sauces!!??? Like how do you not put sauces in the bag, especially when they were requested and on the receipt!?

Stopped by tonight with the family for dinner at the Freddy s in San Marcos, TX. The restaurant was busy and assumed our order would take a while because we had 7 people in our party but our order came out super quick! The cashier was friendly and made suggestions for us which turned out to be great. We ve never been to this location before but will have this place as our go-to every time from now on. My two children loved their meals and the restrooms in this place were clean and smelled wonderful. The burgers and fries were out of this world and the kids loved their dirt and worms ice cream. I highly recommend this place 100% and it s so much better than Whataburger or In and Out. Thank you to Freddy s San Marcos for making our trip special tonight!

Was in town at the hotel across for work. Decided to try it out and it wowed me. Burger was so good and the potato sticks were deliocious with the fry sauce. Love the old school feel, along with picture frames with stories... Definitely will come back when Im in town again

Usually love Freddys because the fries are the best. Ordered to go and got mushy steamed limp fries, patty melt was mostly bread, cherry concrete was made with maraschino cherries. It was horrible. Freddys has gone with the other national chains and killed quality for profit. Disappointing.....

Roach nymph was crawling on register, no one cared. Hot dog had a weird discoloration - it was grayish brown on the outside and the usual color red inside. I m guessing it was oxidation but it was definitely concerning. I didn t finish any of the food.

This is a very unhappy crew here at this store. Worst I ve been to. The cook needs a beard guard, hair does shed. Looked a bit scruffy too. Floors are extremely slippery especially the restroom. Definitely a slip and fall waiting to happen. Our burgers were very salty fries near cold, the cheese curds were near burnt. This all fits with my original statement regarding an unhappy crew. Complaining to anyone in this sad place would have been a waste. I will avoid this place even if the food was FREE. Horrible environment.

Very disappointed with our last stop at Freddy s. Ordered a concrete in the drive thru and when we got to the window to pay, the ice cream they handed us was completely melted. Asked them if they could replace it as it was melted, the one we received back was very obviously the same concrete just topped off with more ice cream and remixed, it was milkshake consistency (it seemed like it was the manager that did this). Won t be going back, we ll try DQ from now one

The man at the counter took my order and I paid for my food, and as I do I see 2 medium sized roaches crawl out from where the cups were stacked on the counter, scurry around the counter top, and run back into the front countertop from underneath. Stopped in for a quick burger and chili cheese fries for my elderly dad after he had fasted for a medical procedure and wanted a good, satisfying lunch. Empty restaurant, no one to be seen as we waited at the counter. Poked my head into the kitchen area and finally saw someone and let her know we were there. She came to the counter and was curt and cold. Maybe because I dared to look for someone to place an order? Or we had disturbed her? She gave us an order number, despite that we were the only ones in the restaurant the whole time and when she called out the number, Dad went to see if it was ready but didnt see her or the food. We sat a long time before I went to investigate and saw that she had placed the tray down on the rear counter and we didnt know it was there. It sat getting cold as we sat hungry, wondering where the order was, despite us being the only customers there. She couldnt let us know it was ready when it was sitting there a while? We certainly didnt feel welcome. Everything was cold, burger meat was overly greasy, too thin and seemed burnt. It seemed like it had been sitting out on the grill a while. Cold, hard fried but the chili wasnt terrible. Will definitely be going to the In N Out Burger nearby next time instead.

The steak patties are incredibly thin and the edges are super burnt. They dont offer gravy with their chicken tender basket. I was hoping the cheese on the very thin; unseasoned french fries, just had a little more flavor and wasnt so thick. Spent $55 for 4 large meals. Most likely not to return. Food : 2/5

Ive never been to a Freddys. Love the burgers. Great seasoning. I was upset at first because Freddys didnt sell the Chicago Dog as advertised. Freddys also was advertising a Hawaiin flavored desert which also was not sold at the establishment. The young lady (I believe her name was Katie) behind the register saw I was annoyed and offered other items that were similar. She approached my situation with a genuine apology and I felt better. The food did not taste like the usual Freddys. The fries were over cooked, tasteless, and had none of the Freddys seasoning. The fish sandwich was ok, but had an odd suace on it and not the tarter suace you might expect on fish. The patty melt tasted stale. The restaurant was not particularly clean. Update, Saturday, February 11, 2023: For a year now, the roads leading to Freddys have been mired by a maze of construction zones to get in and out of Freddys. I stopped today on a Saturday evening at 6:34 pm for a meal as there was only 2 cars parked for dining in and as usual, the IH35 highway plus access roads are bogged down both directions at 20 mph. The stop was mostly to relax and destress from this awful traffic situation constantly going on in San Marcos. The restaurant manager was very friendly, helpful with my order at front counter and before ordering I scanned the rewards app and registered for rewards points. Immediately I received points for a free regular sized ice cream, which here at Freddys they call it concrete. The No. 1 original deluxe meal came with regular sized drink and their famous shoestring fries. Everything was good except the shoestring fries. They were not freshly fried. They were cold, tough and overly salted. Last time the shoestring fries were of the best quality, fresh, hot and perfectly seasoned. Otherwise, an improvement from last time so I moved this Freddys location up from 3 stars to a 4. Last year in 2022: It has been awhile since ordering from a Freddys. The RR, TX one on 620 is great....SA, TX not good. So....I decided to give San Marcos a chance hoping to match the quality from RR, TX. I had the Patty Melt, Fries and medium drink. The fries were great, fresh & crispy. The medium drink was worth about 4 straw gulps since it was more ice than diet Dr. PEPPER. The service was very courteous, & fast in the drive thru. My biggest concern is how can you charge 10 dollars for wafer thin burger patty? It was so thin it crisped up around edges due to being so wafer thin. I felt like I got very oily bread with oily onions and cheese rather than beef on the sandwich.

I was actually looking for a place to get custard and what do ya know....Freddys! This is basically a Culvers transplant even serving cheese curds. I got a patty melt on rye which was good. Also got onion rings which were not freshly battered but were ok. The Shoestring fries were good. The bacon burger was good due to the CRISP bacon! I also had to get a cup of custard! Yum! 3 dinners, cheese curds and onion rings were $37. The burgers were thin and crispy...yum! There were 2 patties per burger. We will be going back!

Kid-friendliness: Nice open place with tables around the front of the register. Kid menu pretty good choices. Wheelchair accessibility: Has a few spots for handicapped but not enough room inside to maneuver comfortably and safe for other customers. Restroom really not big enough for a wheelchair to maneuver comfortably without running into other men in the restroom either. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Ive given them a couple of chances since the very first time I went there it was amazing, but both orders since have been disgusting train wrecks. Cold, tasteless; stuck to the side of the box so the burger rips apart; and woefully, shameless incorrect orders. It baffles me that its even POSSIBLE to get orders this wrong. This is the burger I got today. Not a SINGLE customization of mine was there; no tomatoes, no pickles, no grilled onions, no grilled jalapenos, no sport peppers, NOTHING. What the heck, Freddys?

It took them 25 minutes bfore we got our burgers, they said somehow they over looked our order. It wasnt very Crowded at the time. Burgers were good, wasnt impressed with the stick fries. Kinda pricey also..
