Went in today (7/17/24) and the lady who was working the register was phenomenal. Not only was she taking orders, giving out orders but managing the amount they had ready. She knew minutes of wait for getting an order ready for the gentleman ahead of me as well. All woth a smile and no complaints. Gave her a compliment when it was my turn but thought Id leave a good review aswell. She was that amazing. I always get great service there. Its always clean, service is prompt and the food delicious.

First time in. Establishment was clean and didn t feel or smell like grease. Communication with General Manager on shift & employees was exceptional. Staff working together all moving, taking out trash bf it was flowing over and restocking, making tea and omg..washing hands. As soon as you walk in they were so inviting this was more than a 5 star rating. Food was hot, came out correct and I could not be more happier. It was almost like watching Hell s Kitchen with organization, teams work & talking out orders. Orders were thoroughly checked bf being sent out. Drinks had names on them and big box orders did as well. I can t say enough good things about my dine in visit today. I am not sure what the blond lady GM was today but she is definitely a good shift leader right down to who was on break and who was to go on break. We will be back. Absolutely horrible customer service. Employees act as if it is a huge inconvenience to come to the drive-thru. Here s the thing if you didn t wanna work there why put in the application to work there and accept it? Employees act rude when giving you your food, employees seem inconvenienced when you ask them for any kind of condiments, definitely don t pay with cash because then they get upset that they have no idea how much the total is and I have to go back inside to ring you up, overall experience not great. Foods not even that good to have to put up with that attitude. Not to mention getting orders wrong and when you ask them to correct it they once again get an attitude. Definitely not a good place to have to deal with any kind of service.

I will never be back! I ordered 2x 6 peice tender meals. I didnt want drinks.I ask the girl can I add two extra sides of Cole slaw. I was willing to pay extra but she said let me asked the manager can I substitute it for the drinks. She came back and said no the manager said it was a price difference between the Cole slaw and the drinks. I was fine until I drove off and looked at the receipt. She charged me $5.98 twice for two individual Cole slaws! No wonder it was a price difference! That manager needs to be fired. But no matter! I will never be back!

2/5/24 (Ive visited this location several times. Just got my usual order. Liver gizzards mixed fresh...its a no for me. They cooked liver fresh and put it on top gizzards that was old and that was on top of corn nuggets that was old. I hate going to this location this is like the 4th time they have done this. Not only did you waste my time for old food but you waste my money. No longer get my business. ) My first time visiting. No issues shocked about the ordering process but it didnt take long to get my order.

BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!! Arrived at 9:20pm and was told they did not have enough tenders for a 20 tender family meal, BUT they have enough tenders for individual meals. Still ordered 20 tenders, but at double the cost and with 4 unwanted drinks. I know the economy is bad, but it s bad for everyone. Is that supply and demand or price gauging which ever one benefits the business I suppose.

I have came into the establishment ordered at 5:14 it is 5:40 and I done have chicken and there is none on the rack. When the blonde lady is here I always have good experience, I don t even know who is in charge now. I have 3 kids that are restless and long time waits are not good for kids or the people around in the establishment. Plus there is only one person at the register. Please train new managers this should not happen to any one. Disappointed!!

While they have a large menu, it has no prices on it. Its not until you get to the counter that you actually see the prices. The tenders and okra were ok but nothing special. I ordered the tender special but was charged the regular price. Didnt find out until later and it wasnt worth my time waiting in line; doubt they would have done a refund anyways as most food places refuse to.

This place is very odd. There are 3 lines to order at the drive through. The menu has no prices listed. A person comes out to take your order, takes your credit card and vanishes. Later they bring you your food and return your card. For the price I paid it shouldve come with a case of beer. It didnt even come with napkins or sporks to eat the mashed potatoes. Cant comment on the food because the number on the receipt left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Ordered around 9pm and the person who took my card disappeared for 6 minutes. I asked about it and they said they hold on to them until they bring out the food... Kind of sketchy... Do yourself a favor and dont stop at the restaurant. After traveling 7 hours all we wanted was food before heading to our hotel. Bush staff is very unprofessional. I used to love bush s chicken but this stunk badly. This bush s establishment gave us 20 chicken tenders that were barely even nuggets not to mention they were super crunchy with no chicken and tasted old. Regular customer. Good most of the time but tonight? Terrible. The big girl working drive through was the most miserable person Ive ever met. They fogot one person next to us was even in the drive thru waiting for their order. Then they somehow managed to forget items that come standard on menu items in our order. I dont know what they have going on that is making their employees so terrible at their job but I highly suggest they get their act together or they will run this place into the ground. The 3 employees smoking cigarettes and using profanity at the back door right next to the drive through could have been inside helping while we were waiting for our order for 20 min. Bad management is allowing bad employees. Get it together this is embarrassing.

Nope nope nope. Chicken was dry and bland. These guys apparently never heard of the 11 herbs and spices. Or any for that matter. Mashed potatoes was also bland. No prices on the menu board so who knows what youre paying til after youve ordered. And they gave me a gargantuan lemonade with basically no ice on a 95+° day. Best fried chicken in town, so you gotta get there early before they sell out. Great customer service. New night manager Joshua is awesome. Definitely a must eat at place if youre visiting.

I d like to give a shout out to Josh in management at Bush s Chicken in San Marcos, TX. I m a DoorDash worker, and I went by there last night after having a rough night, and I wasn t in a good mood. Josh went above and beyond by making sure I left there in a better mood by comping me a free meal and drink. He takes great care of his customers, and is definitely an asset to the Bush s Chicken family! Thank you Josh!

We ordered 2 meals of the chicken tenders and a family okra waiting for about 10 minutes drove 5 minutes to get home and the okra was hot and the tenders were cold...
