This IHOP loves to have cars towed at this location , especially College Students at Texas State. They do not have signs posted in areas directly in front of their IHOP Zone as the manager told me. The parking on the side did not have a sign directly in front on the parking spot but they still called and had multiple cars towed at 2:00 AM in the morning at $175 a piece. Be careful going to this location especially if you live at The Lyndon. Its ridiculous! Parking: Don t park anywhere close to this place! They will tow college students!

We came in and never got our order taken. We were waiting for like 40 minutes. A table who came 20 minutes after us got their order taken not 5 minutes after being seated. We ended up leaving. This is ridiculous. Have your team pay more attention to who they are seating and when.

Overrated. Cmon! Been 4yrs since my last review and this time, sorry to say, was worse. I have never changed my breakfast order it has always been chicken fried steak and eggs eggs over very easy white toes hash brown no pancakes. I did not say no pancakes on this occasion . All but steak was OK. Couldnt cut into first steak with a steakknife, got sent back. Second one was not AS bad However it tasted of freezer burn. I mean the whole idea and purpose of going there was for the chicken fried steak and thats the problem here. I only Got a $4 coffee discount? $4. You know quite frankly I was expecting something to be offered to me much better than $4 for coffee. I have never given a review like this one. Not ever with anybody.m sorry but yall need to be checking your freezer stock or change your vendor that is your meat is the worst Ive ever had at this restaurant ever and Ive always ordered the same thing. I do not give bad reviews without reason. This was truly my 1st. Server was not fault for the condition of the fried steak. Blah.

I usually dont leave reviews for places but when i walked into this Ihop to get my online order it took about 10 minutes of the employees meeting eyes with me till someone finally asked if i needed any help while their online order thing blinked green the whole time. Everyone ignored me and walked right past like it wasnt their problem. This is unprofessional behavior especially when the manager on duty is doing it as well. The ambiance here is uncomfortable and it seems like staff could care less about anyone or anything. This is why people are having such a problem with tipping correctly at other places that behave correctly Edit: its worse. They helped so many people that walked in after me before anyone else asked if had an online order. I had told someone about my online order but she never took my name to see if its ready until a second person(who was very very sweet) finally asked if i needed help and got my order for me. This place really needs to do better at customer service.

I am usually an IHOP guy. This was by far the worst experience in it slide down. A sad burger hardly worth the $14 I paid for it with sparse side of onion rings. The worst were those drinks!! $2.79 for a kids drink!?! I guess you do what you have to make ends meet. Service was nice and professional.

Our waitress was extremely professional and on top of everything (even though she was the only one working besides the cook). Everything was good except the hash browns. I really love eating at IHOP! I love the fact that I can have breakfast at any time of the day. This place has excellent customer service and the food was great. Hi, my girlfriend and I didnt feel like making breakfast one morning and we had some downtime before we had to go to whatever appointment we had to go to for the day. Anyways, we sit down and we are greeted by Shelly who was an amazing and super friendly and attentive server! I ordered the breakfast crepes and had them with tabasco. Everything was cooked perfectly, especially how the bacon was crisped. So, I just wanted to say I love going here, no matter if its breakfast or a super late night meal.

An hour of no service after being seated, the manager was spoken to about getting some water. The manager yelled at the server, then disappeared. Server was obviously overworked and needed more support. Manager never came back to check on table. Waited 2 hours to get food. Food was cold and tasted terrible. Bathrooms very dirty. My server made the experience of eating here bad for us. When she walked up to the table she didn t greet us properly, she said , drinks ?. Then when we order my husband order chocolate chip pancakes, when pancakes came out they were regular so we sent them back, it took a whole 30 min to get the chocolate pancakes, in between that time not once did she ever ask if we needed any refills and are cups where empty. She brought the pancakes out not once did she apologize for the wait. I don t think she spoke English to well but one thing she did know how to say was are you ready for the check ?! She never checked on us not once!

If I could give this woman 17 stars I would. I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEEE BREE! I come to this location often (weekly if not every other week) and always request Bree. She is incredibly friendly, attentive, and just overall awesome! I really wish she would come work for me! Hard workers are hard to find! The IHOP here in San Marcos, Texas sucks. They dont greet you, theyre rude, very unprofessional, unorganized and the sorriest customer service. The employees who are the cooks always have music on that shouldnt be playing and they are always cussing. And you have customers that eat there. They dont come to hear that. Like I said very unorganized because you have to wait for your food to be picked up like over 30 minutes or so. Thats ridiculous!!! I dont even know how they are still open. You have this one gentleman by the name of Richard who is very rude and doesnt know how to greet you. If he does thats rare. Hes so hypocritical.

Jo is the truth! she s the best server I can ever remember having. Came here with my mom a few weeks ago and it was pretty busy but she took good care of us and anticipated our needs. 7/22/2023 The first person that I came in to see was a young lady and totally ignored me never offered to put my name down to the on the list to be waited on . Good service with quick order taken for drinks and appetizers. The main brunch order followed drink delivery with the appetizer. I had the new eggs Benedict with smoked bacon, the egg and English muffin was good, the smoked bacon was excellent, but the holindaise sauce was weak, only okay. My granddaughter had the chocolate pancake funny face with sausage patty. My wife had a BLT sandwich with fries. The bread was nicely grilled, otherwise a pretty standard sandwich. My daughter didnt get her ham and I didnt get my hash browns, our waiter had to go get them. The ham tasted funny to my daughter, so she didnt eat it. We wont go back.

The eggs benedict for hard-boiled, and I ordered wheat toast since Im a diabetic and I got white. The Ice-T was very cloudy and foamy like it still had dish soap in it. I left without eating or drinking anything
