Condensate line cleared in Jilt and rattling noise began shortly after. Tech came out first of September with rattling and did not open unit inside, changed contractor outside and said the rattling was my filter. End of September, unit went completely out and called another service provider. I found out there was a leak and entire unit needed to be replaced.

We have used woods since we bought our home in 2020. They have been there for us on multiple occasions to help us battle the Texas heat. I highly recommend them! Wood Comfort System installed our system two years ago when we built our house - wonderful system and people. Recently, with the extreme heat, our thermostat was acting up. Virgle Wiley came out to check the entire system. While the system was working as it should, he changed out the programmable thermostat in the event that it was what was causing the problems. Wood also has a program where they come out twice a year to check the system and clean it. I highly recommend this. It is a small price to pay for such a big investment.

I wasn t going to provide a review as I was trying to put my unfortunate experience with Woods behind me as soon as possible, but they kept insisting. In fact the review requests started before the repair was complete. My capacitor failed on my less than two year old Lennox AC unit so you wouldn t you think it is under warranty? The part is but the labor isn t and the repair man doesn t keep the warranty capacitor on his truck. However and this is an expensive however he has a universal part that he can install for approximately $500. I ask him when he can come back with warranty part. Tomorrow morning he answers between nine and noon. Okay I part with $200 for the visit and repair. By now I am deeply frustrated and have that feeling yo get when you are being taken for a ride. A quick Google search shows that capacitors are ubiquitous and Amazon can get me one the following morning. No surprise I have the three wires connected to the Amazon capacitor in short order just after noon. The Woods person shows up just after 6 pm even after I called them to cancel the call. The cost of the capacitor for Amazon was $28.04.

Man oh man, I ll try not to make this post too long. I can t say enough good things about Woods Comfort Systems. Long story short, when my husband and I moved into our house 2 years ago, we knew we were going to have to get a new HVAC. Ours was 16 years old, and hadn t been replaced since the house was built We got quotes from a few different companies, but threw one out immediately when they tried to tell us it was going to be $20-23k to replace it . The other companies we talked to quoted us between $11-15k, which was what we were expecting. We ended up going with Woods for 2 different reasons. 1) They installed the ducts and HVAC in our house originally, so they knew more about our system than most. While some of the other companies were confused about the duct system, David knew why it is the way that it is, and could explain things to us. 2) Because of David. David came in and talked to myself first, and then came back to tell my husband the things he told me. He was patient and willing to explain everything, and answered any questions we had, and just overall made us feel confident in our decision. David came today for our install along with Saul, and one other guy whose name I didn t catch. All of them were so nice and did a great job with everything. Our house already feels 1,000x better, and I know we ll be calling Woods moving forward for all of our HVAC needs. Thank you to David and his team. Y all are the best!

Ive gotten over 10 quotes from several reputable companies around Austin to replace my Bryant Evolution system and change the house from 1 zone to 3 zones. Woods, by far, was the highest quality and most professional company. David, the GM, was the only one who went through the attic, and not only inspected all the ducts, but showed me a couple of leaks. Everyone else just did a quick look. I was told by all other companies, that my older unit was either 4 or 5 tons (the model sticker was faded/gone), but David showed me the serial number and we looked it up, and it was actually 3.5 TON! Post-installation customer service, help with the getting all the rebates paperwork prepared/submitted - from A to Z is all 5 stars! Highly recommended - for anything AC or plumbing - as they did an amazing job installing a whole house halo-5 filter/softener too!

I have had the pleasure in working with woods on multiple projects. I have given them some of the most squirrely projects and they always figure out how to fix them. They can figure out problems that other plumbers just can t. They show up on time and get after it. Their service is expensive, but you re paying for peace of mind knowing they ll do it right and give you a permanent fix. Grant, Edwardo, and Marcel were a a treat to work with. Woods always does an excellent job servicing our AC/Heat. We have them come out twice a year. Our tech Juan is Great! Courteous, puts down a mat before coming in and wears booties to protect our floors. Very thorough and usually is done in about an hour. I would highly recommend Woods Comfort Systems

My wife and I setup an appointment with Woods Comfort Systems to get a quote on an additional HVAC system to cool and heat our garage. Their sales manager, Jay Carlson, came out to qualify our needs, inspect the attic over the garage and make an assessment on what would be the best solution for our needs. Jay is a very friendly and capable consultant. He recommended a mini-split system with a cassette blower system, along with insulation for the attic to increase the efficiency. Woods also installed our whole house HVAC system and has been great about service calls when needed. I would definitely recommend them for new construction, service or as in our case today with Jay, an additional system for creating additional space for your home. Doug S.

We called Friday evening because our air conditioner was out and Woods Comfort Systems had Travis out the next morning. Travis did an exceptional job, diagnosing the problem and subsequently repairing the unit. It was nice having someone suggest a repair rather than a replacement. The unit was back online by Saturday afternoon. The price was reasonable considering it was a weekend visit. I will definitely use their HVAC service in Wimberley again.

Newer home owners currently on 3rd warranty request - initially informed our AC issue was due to maintenance issue - had to pay for maintenance twice - then completed own maintenance - AC currently and still not cooling. Was informed 1st tech no longer with company then informed service not available sooner due to techs being sick. Currently have to go buy window units as our homes temperature will not get below 80 degrees.
